Exploring Psalm 139

Being open and honest in life is exceptionally difficult. We have a hard time interpreting our hearts and minds, much less communicating what's going on inside us with God and others. The book of Psalms can help us grow in not only understanding ourselves but can help us learn how to communicate what's going on to God and others.

In this book of poetry, we see the full range of human emotion on display. The authenticity and transparency can be shocking at times. But, we learn that we don't have to filter our feelings or clean ourselves up before coming to God. Instead, he can help us deal with our real lives. He can handle our life as it is, unfiltered.
