Nat, which hat have you got on today? Is it a pulse hat or is it an island hat? - It's a pulse hat, it's restate the world. You've kept qualifiers at the moment. - Oh, very good. Joining us to tell us a bit more about Pulse's Road to the Copper Box for 2024, 2025. So that's of course, first question is, how successful was it last year? - Oh, amazingly successful. You know what, it's just really good fun. So there's obviously a tournament to start off with and all the teams are trying to get to the top two in that tournament. They're all in groups, so they're playing off against their own age groups. And then the top two teams, instead of playing the final on that day, then go and play their final before a Super League game at the Copper Box on the show pool. So yeah, last year it was amazing, really well contested, you know, lots of laughter, lots of giggles. And just the tournament day itself was really good. And then watching them in their finals, like the games were so close, it was really exciting. I got to MC the games, which was great. And, you know, seeing that both teams, but all the age groups playing so well. And the joy of the winners, as you can imagine. And then obviously getting their medals from a Super League player. I mean, what more can you want? - Things are gonna be starting on the 15th of December for the under 14 and under 15. - They are, yeah, under 14s and under 15s are on the 50th of December. And then the under 11s under 12s and under 13s are on the 26th of January for the first rounds. - Even as a youngster as well, just to be able to play it somewhere like that. - Yeah, it's phenomenal. You don't realize it. I think for me being there quite a bit, you don't realize it. But when they all come in and they, you know, they put their phones on and their filming around, you can see it on their face. It's really something special to be, to be playing at that venue, you know, it gives you goosebumps. And I think the great thing is, is it doesn't matter where you came placed as well. Everybody gets to come and watch that Super League game on that day. So all the other teams do get to come and they all get to sit together and they get to see, you know, London polls battle it out in the copper box as well. Whoever they're playing obviously, fixed just still embargoed. But yeah, so wherever you come, you still get the experience of being at the copper box as well. And family and friends allowed to come on watch as well. Yeah, absolutely. So family and friends can come and watch the game beforehand. Yeah, 100%. And then obviously the players and the, the teams get free tickets for the Super League game. So they can all come together and watch the Super League game. But parents as well and family, friends, whoever can also then buy a ticket and watch the Super League game if they want, but they don't have to buy a ticket to watch the game beforehand. So they can come and watch their teams compete in the final and cheer them on and have all the buzz around it. And they don't necessarily even have to stay and watch the Super League game. But obviously it's, you're missing out a little bit if you don't. Is there a small entrance fee to this? There is. Yeah, it does cost too. And as you would expect, because obviously we've got to hire the place and obviously they get their tickets as well. I think by the time you've taken your tickets off, it's actually a minimal free. But yeah, there is a cost to it. And anyone who's interested can drop me an email. It's basically nastily.pepperall@londonpulsenetball.com. Yes, it is. And for that, obviously, there's 12 tickets as well. Chances see Paul's at a home game as well. That's going to be special. Yeah, and what season for it is such an exciting season coming up, you know, taking the teams down to 10 players and having those eight teams. And I think it's going to be a real battle. You've obviously in the media, you hear all the bits and people talking. And I think it's going to be a really exciting season. I don't think you can write any other teams off, you know? There's some really exciting squads and some brand new teams who knows what's going to happen. So it could be that you're going to those games and it could be that they're all muscle-in games this season. More information online, Londonpulsenetball.com. Thanks a lot for your time. Thank you, Andy. The net will show is now also available via Sky HD, SkyQ, and Sky Glass. select states and we're on the podcast's rail. [MUSIC PLAYING]
