Yeah, today's been a great, exciting day for the Minifilts household. We had a soccer game today that performed like, I mean, executed to perfection, man. It was so great. And on top of all that, we played again some boys, some boys were led into this tournament. And we smacked that. It was so great. Six to one. No, we played great. She's also on the cover of FC Dallas's Flyers and magazines and on the internet. So it's pretty cool. Yeah, that was awesome to see. Yeah, it was awesome talking to them. No, they're getting that notoriety. Hell yeah. The shout out cover obviously being being a good athlete. You know, those times are going to come. But yeah, we have a nice juicy review show for or here for you guys. The week for review, we're going to cover all the games that took place on Sunday right now. We are currently watching the Sunday night football game getting into the fourth quarter. Ravens are in control looking like they're going to get a home win here. So we're going to talk about all the games that took place on Sunday. Obviously, we're here watching the Sunday night football game, the Ravens in control looking like they're going to get a home win against the Buffalo Bills who looks really solid. So far in the 2024 season. But first, we're going to talk about all the new games that happened. We're going to go chronological order possible. You might get a little bit out of order here or there. Who knows. But all of these games are going to get talked about. We're going to start out immediately right out of the gate. A battle of the jungle cats, the Cincinnati Bengals get a 10 point win over the Carolina Panthers 34 to 24. We are joined by Frankie Graham here. Frankie, what did you think about the Panthers coming up a little bit short after getting their first win of the season last year? Now the Bengals get their first win. Did you think the Panthers actually had a shot here? What did you think about the Bengals getting right against the fellow cats? I felt that the Panthers didn't have no chance with the Bengals because Joe Burroughs from last week, he was really just didn't do that good. So this week, he had to come back be strong. Yeah, that's kind of what I was expecting from the Bengals. I didn't expect them to start 0 and 4 in the preview show. We kind of talked about that. We expected it to be one of those games where they just they didn't lose despite being on the road. And obviously Jamart Chase is having a monster game, three receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown. Yeah, I think that was one of the a lot of it came on one, you know, one catch. But still, you know, it's a big time wide receivers, make big time plays. And in a game like this, it came up critical. Joe Burrough threw the ball 31 times completing 22 of those passes for 232 and two touchdowns to go along with it. Yeah, I mean, this was a game where I thought Andy Dalton was going to come in and put his, you know, his fingerprints all over the place. I mean, which he did, the team really rallied behind him. And I don't think CM would be disappointed at how his team played today. And they losing a fair behind your backup, quote unquote, backup quarterback. Yeah, on the, I mean, trying to defend home against a powerhouse who's back against the wall, you know, I believe they did a great job scoring in almost all the quarters every quarter. I mean, you know, they dialed it in. And I feel like they're a team that could really rally around Andy Dalton here. Andy Dalton failing to get the revenge against the team that drafted him. Man, it's a little bit short here. Speaking of coming up short, the New Orleans Saints traveled to Atlanta today to take on their hated right at Atlanta, Falcon. It looked like they might have gotten away and, you know, taste them hills getting going early, got too early touchdowns. He had to leave the game with an injury. That was clearly a turning point. The Saints were down a lot of players going into this game. Falcons weren't you, but the Saints were missing some critical pieces as well. And it really affected the way that they, you know, like to play offense, especially late in the game. They were doing what they wanted early, but as the game kind of started to, you know, to wear on, they were starting to struggle a little bit more and more. But one thing I will say in this game, Falcons did not score an offensive touchdown. I was going to ask, I was going to correct me if I'm wrong. Did they score an actual offensive touchdown? They did not their first six, their first offensive possession. Muff punt. They punted. Yeah. And Rashid Shahid muffled the ball in the two yard line. And you can advance a muff punt. Yeah. And, you know, it rolled into the end zone. Falcons fall on it, recover band, get a quick seven points. Boom. We get a pick six later in the game. Her cousin throws a bonehead interception. You know, this game really wasn't one where this game really wasn't one where our stars were shining offensively. Hey, who was? So we were having to rely on our special teams and we could four of four two from beyond 15, including the career long 58 yarder for the win for the fucking win. It was a juicy win for us. You know, I loved it. Love winning the throwbacks. We played it on Thursday night again, wearing our throwback uniforms two times in like a span of four days or five days or whatever it is. Sign me up. That's a good look. I wish they'd make it full time. But did you get a chance to get your eyes or see any highlights of this game, Frankie? I saw a tiny bit of it and I felt that the Saints didn't even try. I really did. And I was hoping for the Saints to demolish the Falcons. Sorry, but just because of the last couple of weeks, the Saints have been super strong. And, you know, and the Falcons, they they're still trying to find their niche. So, but tonight they did, you know, they bound the special teams to help power it. Yeah. You need a kicker like that to hit those big time kicks, especially remember the game is on the line. Late in the game from beyond 50, it seems like something that young way, who has no problem doing done several times in his career, hit the game winner was straight down the middle, gets his misses out of the way in the preseason. And then, you know, likes to crank it up as we get into October. Excuse me. And that's something that he's done, you know, time and time again. Moving on though, let's talk about another divisional match up here, the Houston Texans hosted. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Jags coming in at 0 and 3, the Texans coming in 2 and 1 Texans get the win 24 to 20 to make them 3 and 1, obviously, to pulls the Jags down to a dreadful 0 and 4 star with no one, no one really expected. They've now lost nine games in a row dating back to last season. Terry, do you think this is a game that really put a nail in the Jaguars coffin that is the 2024 season? Yeah, man, I think it's really, it's beyond a retrieval of going to the playoffs, you know what I mean? It's going to be hard with them having zero wins by now in the win column. You know, itching call back to be a contender in that division, but going to the winner side of this ballgame, I believe that the Texans took a step forward. I feel like they switched a gear in this game, knowing the fact that they could lose to an 0-3 team. Yes, it's the Jaguars, but they are 0 and 3. And I feel like they understood the task at hand. They got the ball, see, they got the ball into his playmaker's hands. Nico Collins was absolutely everywhere today, 12 receptions, 151 yards, one touchdown. And Cam Acres, man, I believe he's one of the most underrated runners in this fucking league, man. He is so shifty and mixing him with mixing. I know he didn't play this game or hadn't played since last week or whatever. I feel like he's a great come or a backup and a, you know, a great addition to the team with the, the ways you can use mixing and then come back and use Cam Acres the way you can. And the way he did this game, CJ Stroud, just 345 yards, two touchdowns, 27 for 40. Statline is perfect, great. He made some awesome throws, some very crucial clutch, under duress, even players hanging off of him. He just stood tall and freaking through some darts, man. I love this Texan team. I love how gritty their defenses and how much they follow their leader in their head coach, man. This is, this team is going deep, man. I, I, I friendly believe that. Hey, Frankie, uh, did you happen to catch this game? Or is this is one of those that, uh, you know, I passed your eye. Um, I saw some of the highlights of it. I did notice that, um, and I looked at, I looked this up at CJ Shout is right now at 89% passing completion. He's fucking killing it, man. Yeah, he is smoking. And it's, you know, and I feel, uh, you know, that the, that the, uh, who is it, that they're, not to Texans. Um, can't think of who they played today. Uh, my head. Yeah, the Jags. Sorry. My mind just went blank. Um, yeah, really? The Jags and, uh, the Dallas Cowboys are in, are in a fight for the worst team in the league right now. That's a hot take right there. Especially in a league that features the Panthers and. The Patriots. Man, Patriots. I will say Patriots and 49ers, that matchup kind of caught me off guard in terms of the uniform matchup. We were looking for it very much. Yeah, very much a favor there, but yeah, I mean, I like the Texans. I liked him getting a win here at home. The jags, I mean, after having some success, it looks like they're seeing a familiar face, which is a rough start to a season where it's like, we're talking about, we're bringing back our old badass uniforms. Things are supposed to be great. We got our franchise quarterback, some young talent. How do we keep falling into these holes, but nonetheless, the jags do just that, although a no interception game from Trevor Lawrence, which, you know, is progress. Yeah, we're not, we're not looking for perfection. We're looking for progress in this specific situation. There were a lot of job balls, and that was a shocker that he had no interceptions. Yeah, I mean, the Texans are kind of a ball hockey defense. I would expect maybe they get a snag one from a familiar phone like Trevor, but they weren't able to do it. The New York Jets weren't able to defeat the Denver Broncos due to a missed field goal late in the game that could have taken the lead. So you hate to see that. It was an ugly game in terms of weathering. Yeah, heavy rain coming down. You know, it's affecting the ball game. I bet the over on Aaron Rodgers completions are regretted immediately once I saw what the weather conditions were like. 24 conditions out of 42, 225. He ended up getting the prop, but other people didn't, but nonetheless, the game itself was ugly at the very beginning was ugly in the middle and ugly at the end. Very much. Led to a one point win for the Denver Broncos, Zach Wilson, if you look at it like that, maybe got a little bit of revenge, even though we didn't. Third string quarterback, but he was on the sideline in this stadium that, you know, he's heard some booze in before. So, you know, I felt a little bit good to walk out of there with the win this time out of the visitors tunnel. Yeah, this was a great game for the Broncos, not in the sense of putting up points or doing the spectacular down the field, you know, catches and all that shit. They got to volunteer Williams into a groove and I feel like that is going to be a great offensive set tone, you know, a tone setter. If they can get Giovanni Williams back into the mix of everything, he only had 77 yards, but the way they were feeding him and the way they featured Giovanni would take a lot of pressure off of both nigs and a lot of pressure off the Denver Broncos having to win games or, you know, looking, you know, spectacular in that joint or anything like that. But I'm always loving when the Jets don't look, you know, up to par how they how they looked against us or against, you know, teams that they've beaten or whatever. And it's going to be a good week ahead of me at work now that the Jets lost and, you know, Olafan over there sitting with his head held by last week beating us. So now brought down the earth getting beat by the Broncos. We also have a guy on our co-worker, shout out to Dax. He's been fucking working his ass off. He's he's actually one of the guys that's helped me the most get off of work for going to refing and catching my daughters gains and stuff. So big shout out to my man's Dax, his team, the Denver Broncos take the win here 10 to nine. Do you have any thoughts on this game, Frankie? Actually, I predicted on Friday that the Jets were on a smoke. The Broncos, because Aaron Rodgers was hot, hot since last week, you know, and man, he he just dropped that ball bad. So, you know, more power to the Broncos. I figured that the Broncos would have to have somebody, somebody big come in to play and in order to beat the Jets, but they just played their, they just played defense. I guess, heck, it got to the last laugh. Yeah, the Broncos surprisingly having a pretty good start to their season. That's a team that I did not expect to be coming out of the gates as strong as they have, but hey, more power to them. They're still going to get smoked in that division. Another team that is starting to come out of the gate extremely, extremely strong. I called it the Minnesota Vikings. Let's go. Take it on the Green Bay Packers in Lambo Field. Jordan Love wore a Brett Farve jersey, obviously. Brett Farve diagnosed Parkinson's disease. That is not necessarily, you know, something that Packers fans or anybody really wants to hear. It's way more serious than football, but, you know, shout out to Brett Farve, obviously our thoughts go out to him. He's a football legend. One of the greatest quarterbacks that we've seen just an hour generation Terry. So I know for sure that, you know, that's the one you want to see you want to see played for both these teams. Exactly. Yes. You won't wait. Oh, yes. Vikings and Packers. For sure. I first and I thought you were talking about the Ravens and build watching. They thrown off for a second, but nonetheless, Brett Farve, great quarterback NFL legend. So yeah, we want to see him get better, but Minnesota Vikings Green Bay Packers 31 to 29. If that's all you saw from this game, then you think, Oh man, this was just a, you know, back and forth, shoot out all the way down to the end. Well, the Minnesota Vikings actually had a 28 to zero lead in this game. And then the Green Bay Packers slowly worked their way back. We're able to crawl back into this game ended up being a 31 to 21 29. Like I just mentioned two point victory for the Minnesota Vikings, but Sam Darnell three touchdowns, 275 yards. Aaron Jones carried the ball 22 times for 93 yards. He was out for blood today. Justin Jefferson scored a touchdown. Jordan Addison who came back from injury also scored a touchdown. A good performance. Obviously, and you know, sticking to the receiving side of things, Jayden Reed for the Green Bay Packers seven for one 39 in a touchdown. Monster game had a lot to do with why the Packers had to come back. But a big reason why or a big reason why the Packers came back in the first place. But a reason why they were down is because Jordan Love and his three interceptions, he did throw four touchdowns and 389 yards, but 54 passing attempts. Clearly, a one dimensional team in a formula that really has been working for them. When you look at how they've been winning games, Josh Jacobs at 32 carries just a couple of weeks ago. So this type of drastic switch from one side to the other night and day difference. It seems like the right there somewhere in the middle is where the truth lies. And that's where this team is really going to find their success. Yeah, they really became one dimensional and the Vikings defense were picking on that at the beginning. They they knew what was coming. They absolutely dialed it in on defense. Secretary was pointing out of their mind in the first half. It was it was great to see, but then you got the hint of the momentum shifting green Bay started picking up first downs, which they didn't do in the first half. They were starting to have written third downs. They were getting their defense were getting off the field. It was really nice to see Jordan just be calm and hear and adapt after halftime and really put the game plan to to fruition. 389 fucking yards is is incredible. I know the three intersections kind of marks off a little bit of that, but still man, four touchdowns, you know, completing 32 at a 54 is is fucking video game numbers. And to be flustered and rattled at the beginning and to be calm, cool and collected, lead your team back from absolutely nowhere. Yeah, it was it was it was nice to see it kind of reminisce those those Aaron Roger days and Brett Favre day. So it was a nice it was a nice game for both these teams that could actually look at the the game field and actually like what they did, especially towards the end. I know this is a big rivalry in I actually watched every single one of this every bit of this game. Frankie, did you actually catch any of this one? Um, I I didn't, but I kind of predicted that the Vikings were done a smallage. It's a Green Bay Packers just because of they're on that hot streak right now by the Vikings and they're they're predicting that the Vikings are going to be going to the national championship just the way they're playing right now. For no, maybe never would have expected that and I actually want somebody here to say that the respect of Sammy D is is now in order. Like he is he's here. Someone is believed in Sam Donald from the jump. No, you have it. Grim Reaper. Oh, okay. I'm gonna do shout out group. Hell yeah, the Vikings are playing badass and I love everything that they're doing right now, but I did pick the Vikings to win this. I've successfully predicted three of the four Packers games. I predicted I'm gonna get two wins in a row in weeks two and three predicted them to lose in week three, but I did predict them to beat the Eagles in week one. So that's where I'm off with my Green Bay Packers season predictions. One team that I did predict to go to for now is the Pittsburgh Steelers who are traveling to Indianapolis today, Lucas oil field to play the Indianapolis Colts. They lose by three points 27 to 24. The Colts sneak out of their own home stadium with the win to get the Steelers their first loss of the season just in field sees the first loss of his starting tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers, despite throwing for over 300 yards in a touchdown. It was the big time playmaker, Joe Flacco, who came in relief of an injured Anthony Richardson that seemed like where this game really fell to the cracks. You almost wonder man. It's a cold that better quarterback play just more consistent quarterback play, something like what Joe Flacco could provide. Maybe this team could hang with the best in the league. And that's kind of what we saw today at home and the Colts got a big win. Yeah, because you still saw the same mistakes that Anthony Richardson keeps on making overthrowing and not hitting the first read that's wide open. And you saw what once Joe Flacco was entered into this game, that fucking offense was moving man. And the run game looked awesome. The the past game obviously was looking great. The protection was you know, they're picking up you know, blitzing linebackers, blitzing safeties. It didn't look like what the offense looked like under Anthony Richard. I know it's completely different packages and everything like that. But still it's to your point man. Breaking news and this one is almost unbelievable. Complementary quarterback play on this team is what they want and what they need and you can you saw here with Joe Flacko taking this team after the injury to their their franchise quarterback. Who knows what the the status is on him. I haven't really checked but Joe Flacko finishes the game 16 to 26 168 yards to touchdowns Jonathan Taylor pitched in 21 carries 88 yards one tuddy Michael Pittman was the main target today for Anthony Richardson and mainly Joe Flacko six or seven hundred and thirteen yards. I feel like this offense can move with the right quarterback play and you know I really didn't expect the Steelers to look this good but even in a loss they looked pretty you know pretty good they look great in some aspects of the game. Justin Fields really looks like he's taking the helm of this this game and I really like what they've got going over there. Yeah this is a three point affair for the but a home team culture 27 to 24. I really love what the Colts are doing how about you Frankie did you see Anthony Harrison get that hit and you had to go down. Yeah I saw him when he got that hit and he had to go out that was a big hit and yeah I think oh man and but I knew that the Colts were going to pull this out. I predicted it on Friday because they're on that hot streak they I mean if you can beat the Bears you can beat the Steelers right now. They could not beat the Bears with the Los Angeles Rams. He traveled to Chicago today soldier field Caleb Williams got a big time win in front of the home crowd. DeAndre Swift had a huge long touchdown that was a nice run one of the highlights of the entire day. He also led the team with seven receptions for 72 receiving yards so a good performance from DeAndre Swift. Kyron Williams led the team with 94 rushing yards for the Rams side of things and an interception with no touchdowns from Matthew Stafford really seems like it boiled down to what was the deciding factor here as well as 2-2 at well. Being the leading receiver four catches for 82 yards for the Rams. Missing a lot of guys it definitely showed up being in this game. They didn't have the horses that they needed to go compete with a team like Chicago on the road. Yeah I think that's that's what it was. They're just out man out depth this game. The Bears really put it on them defensively. They're really they're really stingy and Caleb Williams is feeding off that off the good field position. They're putting them in and just feed not feed his his playmakers getting the ball into the right people's hands at the right time and it turns out the good things. Browns are at Browns. The Bears take it 24 to 18 and you know Caleb will be looking good. Frankie what are your thoughts about the Chicago Bears getting a home win over the Los Angeles Rams? So first I heard that the Miami Dolphins are gonna try and get Matt Stafford and also I felt that the I'm glad the Bears got a win because so they so south or all inch and shut up about his team. Because whenever they lose he goes I hate football and whenever they win he says I love football so. I'll say that's right. Looks like a ball today. I guess so and they finally pulled one out so but they're gonna lose against my boys the line so. Hell yeah well the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They played their third NSC South team in a row. They get their second loss out of those three games. Seems like that's kind of where their season is getting a little bit of a speed bump here. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers though getting a dumb move to three and one on the season. That's clearly who my Falcons are chasing in the NSC South. They don't play in the third. Yes we play on Thursday night. I'm looking forward to that game for sure like if they were wearing our throwbacks. E. But a nice game from Baker Mayfield 30 completions 347 two touchdowns Mike Evans 94 yards in the touchdown a great performance from him. He passed a gramatica as. Most points in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history that record stood for 23 years. So very impressive record that Mike Evans now has under his belt one of the best bucking years of all time in my personal opinion. The greatest buck in the year of all time as the resume the hardware to back that up as well. So shout out to Mike Evans and got the job done here today. One of the few players in my division that I actually you know respect through and through. Oh you got to respect Mike Evans. He's just a dog and has been there and been the staple of that bucking years team. He could have went off and played with other people. I remember there was a time where he might have hooked up with Patrick Mahomes and now it just spelled fucking catastrophe for everybody. But the Bucks really took control of this game name. This was a good old country ass hoping that they gave they gave the Philadelphia Eagles here. Yeah that's it. I mean they they commanded the game from from the coin toss to the to triple zeros at the end of the fourth quarter. Nothing really to explain but yeah it was a country ass hoping Frankie you catch this one. I did not because I I can care less about the bucking. Good after being at them whooping us a few weeks ago but you know they since they won they had to come back from being humiliated last week. It was bad last week. Yeah we have to talk about humiliation. Let's stay on that humiliation train right now while we're there. Let's go ahead and do it. The New England Patriots made a cross country trip. Yeah we did. To you know play the San Francisco 49ers. To the Bay Harry who were clicking today Jordan Mason 24 carries 123 yards one touch down there clearly not missing a beat without Christian McCaffery brought Purdy as a nice you know not perfectly clean game but clean enough to get the job done. The Niners moved to two and two with this big time when the Patriots fall to one and three with some holes everywhere. Yeah that's obviously this game is what it is. Everybody expected that the Niners were probably going to win so this loss really shouldn't hurt. One thing that it helped is your draft stock. Yep that's what it is. Try this hunter. That is. You want since you already got the quarterback? Project number one right now. I'm coming over here where I was coming over here with the that exact thing in mind. I want to tank right now for terms hunter. The way he can help our offense and defense with with our coach right now. I believe that they I believe that he has an understanding of he could use that kid you know on both sides of the ball and we fucking need him especially an offense game. I believe he can bring off the power that we lack right now and that's where we are. We are hoping you know I don't feel like I'm alone in this as a Patriots fan. I feel like it's time to. Time to take. Okay so are you are you team he's our new wide receiver one or are you we're about to have two outstanding quarterbacks because he's not going to play both plays in the NFL.
