A message paid for by veterans for all voters. Listen to this message from Ted Delacath, former Army infantryman and Ranger qualified platoon leader active in the Army Reserves. When I enlist in the Army, I swore an oath to this country, not any political party. That's why I'm interested in citizens' ballot measures around the country to reduce the power of political parties. Colorado votes on one too. Right now, election rules allow political insiders to hand-pick party nominees. It's the reason we're usually stuck voting for the lesser of two evils. The Colorado's plan creates an open primary where all candidates appear on one primary ballot. Every voter has the freedom to vote for any candidate, no matter which party. The Colorado plan advances four candidates to the general election, not two. That means more choices for voters in the primary and general election. Get the facts, elections belong to the voters, not political parties. Paid for by veterans for all voters, Anthony Haas registered agent. The use of military rank and job titles does not implant endorsement by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense of this ballot measure. As grown, as expanded, like I said before, these conferences are getting bigger. We've already seen Oklahoma versus Tennessee. We got to see Oklahoma versus Auburn. We're going to get to see Texas versus Georgia very soon. In the next week or two, we're going to see Oregon and Ohio State play. This is just the first start. It's the inaugural year of these new conferences and these new rivals. This is going to be the norm in college football coming up for. Nothing but upset. These conferences are so stacked. Don't be surprised if there's a 10-2 conference champion to come out of the Big Ten this year. It's just too strong. Don't be surprised if a one-loss SEC team loses to a two-loss SEC team in the SEC Championship this year. Don't be surprised to see in the Big 12, not the Kansas State Wildcats or not the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Teams that if you have been following the Big 12, kind of like I have for, you know, as long as you can remember, it's just your home conference. You know, if you're a Penn State fan, if you're a Clemson fan, you follow your conference. You want to know your conference. So this year is going to be crazy. You know, with the editions of Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado and the Big 12, those teams aren't slouches either. I mean, Arizona State was a pretty good team this year. I mean, they came down to love it two weeks ago and lost, but they put up a fight. Arizona is a good team too as well. Same with Utah and Colorado's proven me wrong, but deep down inside, as much as I want to see Colorado lose, the more they win, the more that light, you know, kind of gets shine on the Big 12. That's, you know, mainly been fixated on the Big 10 and the SEC, which is going to be, I mean, everybody understands the college football game runs through the SEC until, you know, it gets a constant. Yeah, I know Michigan won the National Championship last year, but until Big 10 wins two out of three, you know, three out of six, you can start saying you're the best conference in college football. So, you know, I've done rambling, but like I said, it's starting to get good now. You know, we are, you know, like I said, this is the week five review. Some teams have already played five games, you know, you're getting close to halfway. You know, 12 games, you know, yeah, you get two buys. Tennessee had the buy last week. You're going to have those weeks, but there's just so much going on. You kind of forget sometimes. Oh, man, who did Tennessee play this week? And you go, Oh, well, they're on a buy, but yet, you know, Georgia and Alabama played, you know, it's not like NFL where, you know, there can be four teams on a bi week and then you kind of go. Oh, dang, this, this lineup kind of sucks. Yeah, you get a Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night, but you only get six, you know, Sunday games, you know, not knocking it, of course, but any given week, college football can be just fantastic and jaw dropping and upsets and great games and seven over times. It's just, you just never know what you're going to get a college football man. That's just the beauty of the game. Let's go through this first, shall we? Friday, the 27th, it looks like I gave you the first game to watch. This was on seven o'clock on Fox. This was the Washington Huskies coming in three and one, going to the greater state of New York. I want to say in the Rutgers Knights who come in three and oh, and it looks like, you know, that cross country trip may have costed these Washington Huskies about three points. So Rutgers gets to win 21 to 18, watched a little bit of this game. I wanted to see more of Rutgers than more of Washington, you know, Washington had their chance last year. If you watch that game and you kind of went, hmm, you know, this is the reigning defending, you know, runners up with the country. Yeah, but they lost so much, how they lost their coach. They're doing a lot better than the, I mean, Michigan's doing a lot better than them right now, but I just wanted to see, you know, this is their first, you know, conference game. Going across, you know, the country's going to be tough. And I wanted to see if records was for real, you know, I don't know who the other three team that they played to get them up, you know, themselves undefeated in a three and oh record. But that was a, this is a measuring stick, you know, you're playing Washington, you know, and they get the win, you know, like I said, a nice three point win. Rutgers was favored by three, so it ends up being a push over under on this one was 45 and a half ends up being an under player, the game goes to the running back for Rutgers. His name is Kyle Montagay, he rests about 25 times for 132 yards and a touchdown. Just more, I get to see more, you know, as these week grow along, these records start sticking out and I go, huh, they're in the big 10 or they're in the ACC and they're undefeated. I want to start paying attention to this team just a little bit more and give them the gratification and the love that I've been given some of these other teams, you know, for four or five months, you know, since the summer time, you know, I talked about certain teams in the conference is because they're the front runners, you know, they're the flagbearers, they're the ones that have done it before. But great thing about college football is you never know, you know, it's it's expect the unexpected, you know, you have upset weekends and show down Saturdays and, you know, shut up Saturdays. It's awesome and I love it because Rutgers is now 4-0 and, you know, maybe they'll play a Penn State, maybe in Nebraska. Hell, of course, you know, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Oregon, and they could get that upset, that one win, that could just send them to the Stratosphere and, you know, send shockwaves to college football. We've already had it a few times this year and teams like Rutgers can do it. So good win for Rutgers, I want to see what you got going on up for you next. Start the Saturday slate, this was the 11am kick on ESPN right after game day. This was a big 12 battle of two teams just trying to get off the schnide, to be honest, you know, didn't want to start their conference season. Oh, and two and dropped to, you know, the very bottom of the big 12 conference records and say, "Man, why is it so dark down here? You know, why does it smell like that?" And that light up there is getting smaller and smaller. And these are two teams that, hell, I thought would be playing each other in the conference championship in December in, you know, Jerry's World for that big 12 championship. It was the 20th ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys coming in three and one, heading to Manhattan to play the 23rd ranked K-State Wildcats coming in three and one as well. Both teams suffering, just heartbreaking losses. I knew they were going to throw everything out at each other. Nobody wants to start their conference season 0 and 2. And the better team won, in my own opinion, it was K-State, the home team just looked ugly from what I saw. I didn't tune into this game, but the K-State Wildcats get the win 42 to 20. K-State was favored by six, so they covered, you know, that's a 22-point blowout. Yeah, they easily covered that six. Over and under on this one, 54 and a half, so it ends up being a little bit over with 62 points scored. This was just more of, let's see here, Alex Bowman, Alan Bowman. I want to get Alan Bowman. Yeah, the quarterback for Oklahoma State, it was kind of bittersweet to watch this game, to be honest. This is an X Texas Tech, you know, quarterback left two years ago to go to Oklahoma State. The guy's like 20-something years old. I mean, 27, 28 years old, and I'm not even kidding. On his seventh or eighth year, don't know how it happens, to be honest. And he wasn't good for us a couple years ago. And I'm sorry, but quarterbacks, the more years they get, it's not always the case that they get better. If they weren't necessarily good three or four years ago, what makes you think they're going to be all of a sudden good? Somewhere else. And he just had a horrible day. I think he threw like three interceptions or something, and just was just woeful. I don't know what happened to their offense. Ollie Gordon has just been completely shut down. He had a decent first half. And then turned around, and they completely changed their offense. It's almost like what I hate about college football, sometimes these offense coordinators, you know, they're trying to get too cute. And I don't like them about coordinators. Trying to be too clever. Just fucking run the ball or run the screen. You know, let's do something easy and make it good. You know, like there's a saying that I love about, remember the Titans, he goes, Coach Boone goes, you know, where we run the beer, he goes, it's just like Novocaine. You do it right and you give it time and it works every time. And that's what a good offense you do. I'm not, of course, I'm a fan of the air raid. You know, I am a Texas Tech Red Raider. And, you know, we set the game on fire, you know, during the 90s and the 2000s and just, you know, throwing the ball from five, six hundred yards in the air, every game. Go look at the college football NCAA passing leaders of the past, you know, all time. And there's like four or five Tech quarterbacks up there. You know, look at the most passing touchdowns in a year. There's a couple of Texas Tech quarterbacks up there. You know, it's like, I'm all in favor of that offense. Is it complicated? Sure. But we ran it so well for so many years. It was the same offense because we ran it by the same coach. But, you know, I'm off on a tangent again. Yeah, sorry. Oklahoma State's just not who... A message paid for by veterans for all voters. Listen to this message from Ted Delacath, former Army Infantryman and Ranger qualified platoon leader active in the Army Reserves. When I enlisted in the Army, I sworn oath to this country, not any political party. That's why I'm interested in citizens ballot measures around the country to reduce the power of political parties. The use of military rank and job titles does not imply endorsement by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense of this ballot measure. We thought they were. I thought they were, at least. You know, I'm not even lying. One of the highest ranked offensive lines coming back. You know, the preseason All-American first team, All-American running back, and Ollie Gordon. Just stick to that Michigan game plan and let's run the ball. Ollie, you know, 30-35 times a game, though the ball 15-20. And let's get those 24-20 wins. Let's get those 17-14 wins. And contend for a big 12 championship, you know, where you don't have to play Texas and OU anymore. Just shocking. And then I figured K-State would play a lot better just that just horrible loss to BYU last week. 38-9 or something. I mean, and they just committed so if everything that could have went wrong for Kansas State last week went wrong for them. And you learn a lot from that. I do love Kansas State. I will beat the drum for them all the time. And that's a great team. And then Avery Johnson quarterback, he gets a player of the game. Three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. I mean, dude, that is 35 points that he scored himself and they end up scoring 42. Somebody else scored a touchdown. And if, you know, every Johnson doesn't show up, you know, Kansas State don't win. Oklahoma State only scored seven second half points. I mean, that's embarrassing. I mean, it really, really is. But what I will say, if you're a K-State Wildcats fan, you know, you and I do not talk to you will of you at all. But I am going to take a small shot at you right now. I know how to beat you. Avery Johnson. And I said, I would take a shot at you. It's a very small shot. Avery Johnson is, you know, they hardly say the straw stirs the drink. No, that is the ingredient that makes the food. Like without that ingredient, that dinner does not taste good. Without that ingredient, that cocktail does not taste good. I mean, he is crowning Coke and he is one or the other. You know what I'm saying? Like, this is a dude. And if you take him out, you know, start running some spies. You have some really good defensive line play. Don't let him tear you apart with his arm or his legs. Make him beat you one way, not the other, not both is what I'm saying. But it's still a really good team, you know, 4-1, you know, back to 500 in the conference. It's a great win for K-State and Oklahoma State. Just, yeah, just searching to be perfectly honest with you. Moving on, another 11 AM kick on Big Ten Network. This was the Maryland Terrapins coming in 3-1, heading to Hoosier Land to play Indiana, who comes in 4-0. And Indiana goes to 5-0, I think, for the first time, they said, and I don't know how long it was. 30, 40 years, something like that. Has Indiana played anybody? Don't think so. Do they still probably got to play the Michigan's in the U.S.C.s and the Wisconsin's and the Penn State's, the Ohio State's, you know, and the Michigan, you know, all these great schools and the Oregon's, probably. But it's nice to see for now. You know, I don't bash on these teams, kind of like a Rutgers, you know, that I talked about earlier. I'm not going to bash on these teams for being 5-0 and go, well, you know, let's see how you are at the end of October. Is Indiana going to be 5-5? Maybe. But hey, even if there's 7-3, they can upset somebody. I like little guys. I like those little mid schools. I'm not just into the blue blood. Now, I like the little guys. So, big ups to Indiana and the Hoosiers starting the season 5-0. Don't got a player in the game for you guys on this one. That was just a good team win. You know, everybody did their job type. Nobody really stood out type of win. So, good win for the Indiana Hoosiers. Alright, we're moving on to the 2-30 bracket. This one was on FS1. This was the Fresno State Bulldogs coming in 3-1. Heading to UNLV to take on the 3-0 Rebels, the running Rebels, the UNLV, you know, team, this program definitely were in the headlines. We're definitely wrong reasons. This past week, you know, their quarterback, Matthew Sluka, didn't get his money. Apparently, I was promised to get X amount of money by week 4, week 5, and he didn't get it. And you have to week 4, week 5 to redshirt or transfer. So, he said, "Hey, I ain't getting my money. That y'all promised me. We're undefeated. I'm taking the, you know, the reigns of this undefeated season. And if I don't get what I want or I haven't got what I want, I'm out of here." And the dude did, man. He, you know, he disappeared like a virgin on prom now, man. He was gone and, you know, took his red shirt and transferred out. And it was pretty disappointed. It's definitely the tellable times in college football right now that these guys can do that. They're 18, 19 years old, graduating high school or coming from, you know, a community college and these teams can say, "Hey, I can offer you 250K signing bonus right now. And then we're going to be, we're going to have you sponsor. We're going to have you on some commercials, you know, for the local, you know, lawyers or local franchises, you know, this and that. And we're going to give you, you know, Mercedes E class or, you know, something along those lines and these guys are going to just kind of scope around and get the best deal. And that's what they're going to play for. It's very disheartening. It kind of diminishes one of the reasons why I like college football is just to play for what's on your chest, not what's on your back. You know, and that means the team and not yourself. And that comes down to money too. So, and not necessarily the kind of characters you want either that are only interested in money. He did what he did, you know, in walked in Hodge Malik Williams. And he says, "Don't you worry, Mr. Matthew Saluca, you have a great rest of your career. I'll take over your team." And it looked like he did a pretty damn good job. He went 13 for 16 for 182 yards and three touchdowns. And this is a kid that's got some wheels as well. He rushed the ball 12 times for 119 yards and a touchdown. You know, scoring four touchdowns himself. That's very, very good. Your second string quarterback team will just come in and the offense doesn't look like it missed a beat, but in fact it gained a step. You know, this UNLV team wins 59 to 14. Overall, pretty good Fresno State team team. Fresno State team, I would say too. Definitely a team that I thought can contend in the Mountain West for sure. This is definitely UNLV's conference to lose right now. The more they win, the more they're going to get noticed, the more they're going to get talked about. And it comes down to the whole NIU thing that I talked about the week before. It's easy to be. Nobody's talking about you. You're the underdog. You know, nobody's, you know, believing in us. Everybody's counting us out. But then when you start getting numbers next to your name, you start getting talked about. You become the hunted and enter, you know, week six. I do believe this UNLV team is the 25th ranked team in the country. So definitely their season gets very, very interesting going forward, but good win. I like how they deferred that trouble, that bullshit to be perfectly honest with Sluka. And they, without missing a beat, that takes a very good team to avoid distraction and still get the job done and not only get the job done. Doing blowout fashion. So that just shows me that UNLV is a great coaching carousel, a great, you know, coaching tree, I should say, great leaders, seniors on that team that they're just not going to let something as big as what had happened to find their team and to find what they were going to do with going in with their season. So a great win for UNLV, 4-0. I want to see what they got going up forward with the Mountain West Conference for sure. Another 2-30 kick. This one was on CBS. This was a bid-10 battle. The Wisconsin Badgers coming in two in one, heading to LA to play the 13th ranked USC Trojans who coming in two and one and the Trojans get the win, 38 to 21. I mean, that was a team I thought needed a good week of practice, a couple of plays here and there the week before, you know, at the big house against Michigan, I think USC could have pulled it out. A couple extra seconds at the end of that game. Given USC the ball, I think that game could have came out different. USC is a good team. You know, I am not going to shit on them at all. They always are contenders every single year with guys like Lincoln, Riley and some of these guys that they get and can get. It seems like they're quarterback carousel or quarterback train. One guy gets on and another guy gets off. It's just a complete success. It seems like a player of the game, though, goes to Miller Moss, quarterback. This is a guy that I've definitely been paying attention a lot to. It started the LSU game a few weeks ago and then you know, it didn't have the best game against Michigan, but I think that was just because it was Michigan. I think this is a guy that he shows me a lot. If this guy is an upperclassman and he declares he can learn a lot. This could be a guy who could be a good NFL quarterback. He went 30 for 45. I like that through for 308 yards and three touchdowns. Great win. Very good win. But this would win goes to USC's defense mostly because Wisconsin did not score any second half points. That just shows you a lot. USC is what's been their bugaboo for their team for 10 years, I'd probably say. Their offense is great. They get great receivers and running backs and quarterbacks and good key pieces, but their defense just lets them down and they have to score 52 points again just to keep it close because their defense is just killing them. Not to mention not to slap Wisconsin in the face or nothing, but Wisconsin doesn't necessarily have the best offense in the country either. But to hold a big 10 offense to zero second half points is commendable. That's definitely worth something. I will patch you on the back with that. It does not mean that they aren't completely out of it yet and I would keep them up there as a potential oh shit category team that could definitely beat you on any given day. So good win for the Trojans against Wisconsin. 230 kick on ESPN. This was a great game Arkansas three and one going to 24th ranked Texas A&M who come in three and one as well. This was a Jerry's World game. I should have known about this. This has been going on for so long. Jerry Jones you know the owner of the Cowboys isn't Arkansas Razorback and he does this for you know these programs every year he opens up his house and Arkansas and the Aggies storm in and fight on his you know filled and I'm sure he loves it. Definitely he hasn't loved it lately because the A&M Aggies have owned the Arkansas Razorbacks for the past 12 years. And it doesn't change here. 21 to 17 was the final score. Just a just a yonder of a game I literally have it wrote down right here. 10 combined second half points. That's when you want to see the game get good. You know I'm saying that's when these guys have figured something out. I've gone in a half time. I started looking at their little you know tablet things and figuring out what the defenses are doing what the offenses are doing you know where can we exploit you know this team on a punt return or something and let's hang up half a hundred. I mean that is literally the goal every single week and it just seems like these teams are just complacent and nobody was pulling any shots or taking any shots and just yawning. That's all I got to say is a yonder man I'm sorry but Texas A&M gets the win 21 to 17 over when their old Southwest Conference foes in the Arkansas Razorback in Jerry's world. 230 kick on peacock. This was Mr. Graham's game as y'all know Grim Reaper Mike 20 men. He you know lives across the pond and he's been trying to watch as much college football as he can. He is one of the guys that I say you know when I do these shows I want to turn a non college fan or a pedestrian college fan into a college fan or a college fanatic and he's one of them. He says hey man. He only gets a few games too. That's what sucks is you know when we you know and I do say of course you know United States of America. You can turn on a TV on any given channel at any given time and there could be three games on on those three channels and it doesn't change until tonight. You know like I said I watch so many games on a Saturday. I got two TVs fired up. I'm flipping this one at this one and that's it both you know TVs are half time. I'm flipping both of them to two other games and I got my notebook and my you know my clipboard right here and writing things down left and right. And I'm watching college football and from for Mr Graham you know to say hey and he told me goes I got the Notre Dame Louisville game this week and I said great. I said you know let me know how you like it. A message paid for by veterans for all voters. When I enlisted in the Army I sworn oath to this country not any political party. That's why I'm interested in citizens ballot measures around the country to reduce the power of political parties. Colorado votes on one too. Right now election rules allow political insiders to hand pick party nominees. It's the reason we're usually stuck voting for the lesser of two evils. Colorado's plan creates an open primary where all candidates appear on one primary ballot. Every voter has the freedom to vote for any candidate no matter which party. The Colorado plan advances four candidates to the general election not to. That means more choices for voters in the primary and general election. Get the facts. Elections belong to the voters not political parties. Paid for by veterans for all voters, Anthony Haas registered agent. The use of military rank and job titles does not imply endorsement by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense of this ballot measure. And he says, you know, he says college football is really starting to grow on him. So this was his game. The 15th ranked Louisville Cardinal 3 and 0 heading to Indiana to play the 16th ranked Notre Dame fighting Irish who were 3 and 1. Bro, you know, broke out their green jerseys. Not the biggest fan of them and it works. Don't get me wrong, gold helmets, green jerseys, but not the biggest fan to be honest. But Notre Dame gets the win 31 24 and looks like a nice close game over Louisville kind of figured this is how it was going to go. Louisville hasn't really showed me a whole lot yet. And I'm still a Tyler Shuck hater. So yeah, I was kind of happy that this game worked out how it worked out. Riley Leonard quarterback for the Irish gets player of the game 17 of 23. That is only six in completions. That is a great stat line through for 163 yards. Two touchdowns and then rush the ball 13 times for 52 yards and a touchdown. So, you know, take 21 off of Notre Dame score and Louisville gets the win. So good win for, you know, Riley Leonard and his boys in the fighting Irish and good game for the Graham. And I'm impressed. Like I said, it really is. Notre Dame was favored by six and a half or five and a half, sorry, but they cover. Yeah, I have not been doing that for these last couple of games. Sorry, guys. I'm just too very excited, man. I am so glad college football is back. No excuses, though. Notre Dame was favored by five and a half over on this one 48 and a half. So it ends up being an over. All right, let's get this right now, guys. Here we go. 230 kick on Fox. Oh, man, this was a this was definitely a game that just threw me for a loop. Here we go. This was the Colorado Buffalo's coming in three and one heading to humid as UCF coming in undefeated three and oh, this was like big 12 battle. I just kept watching this game. I watched the big name kickoff. You know, Saturday morning, and this is where those guys were. This is a, you know, Mark Ingram and urban Meyer. And Brady Quinn and Matt Liner and Rob Store, of course, they were having their pregame there and oh my God, it was so muggy. You could just see. And some of the guys and poor Mike Mark Ingram was sweating through his suit and during that whole game, you could just see, I mean, the crowd were all taking their shirts off. You could just see the faces of all these players. It was hot and muggy down at UCF and just made me want to take a shower. I saw like I say about that, but I mean, I would call this an upset. Absolutely. And it wasn't by three points. I think Colorado played probably the best game that they played all year and they win 48 21. You're probably saying, see him, you know, 27 points beat down. This was never close. You could tell who the better team was. I watched this game through and through. And Colorado looked like the better team and I was, you know, banging the drone for UCF, man. K. J. Jefferson on RJ Harvey. I want to say his name is just a team that I thought, you know, with Gus Malls on is the code chat. I thought if it's not going to be Oklahoma State, K State, some of these other teams, it's going to be UCF and this was their time to flex and Colorado did the flexing man. Good win for Colorado. They outscored UCF 21 to seven in the second half. Shut the door on them. I mean, that's what you do. The game is kind of close at halftime or, you know, you're up by 14 at halftime. You go out there and you try to put up another 14 on them. You want to be up by 28 going into the fourth quarter, you know, so on and so forth. So there at another great game, 28 of 35, 290 yards, three touchdowns, but I'm going to officially start this right here right now. I know a lot of people have definitely been trying to get this going. I'm going to join that bandwagon. I'm going to join on the train as bad as it hurts me to do it for a Colorado player. Hunter Travis Hunter is him. I'm saying Hunter for Eismann right now. This is a guy that doesn't lose a step. He plays both sides of the ball. He never comes off the field. I mean, he really doesn't. And when he does come off the field, he gets pissed. And he is not a liability at either one of his positions. In fact, he's one of the best players at both positions when he's on the field. It's stupid scary. Like I've never seen this before in my entire life. And if that does not scream Heisman, I don't know what to tell you. Without Travis Hunter, Colorado would be 0 and 4 right now, in my honest opinion. Or in five, I should say, they might have won one game here and there. But without Travis Hunter, this team is not the Colorado buffaloes. And I think that just screams the epitome of Eismann. If that player was not on that team, you wouldn't want to watch that team. And that team wouldn't be competitive. So on and so forth. So I'm seeing it now, man. And as much as it hurts to say that guy is him. He's one of the best players in college football, man. So I'm seeing it here right now. He even, you know, play, he did. I know hopefully a lot of people saw it. He wasn't suckered to the double move. They tried to get a receiver to go behind him and him take that guy and then check it out. He read it perfectly and jumped right in front of that receiver and made the interception, man. And then, you know, plays over. He runs all the way down to the end zone and does a Heisman pose, man. I was like, you know, light bulb went off and I went, this is a dude. Like, I can see it. I really can. But Colorado's got to keep winning. Like, that's, that's literally it. They don't give Heisman's to six and six teams. I'm sorry. They don't give Heisman's to seven and five teams. They got to keep winning. Yes, it hurts my heart to say. Yes, they piss me off. Yes. I'm tired of seeing their commercials. Yes, I'm tired of seeing shooter Sanders. It is stupid and wrist shit, tired of seeing Deon Sanders all the time. But every time they win, the Big 12 gets recognized. The Big 12 gets talked about. We just lost two of the biggest franchises in our whole, you know, conference ever in Texas and Oklahoma. We need some shit talkers in our conference. We need somebody to shine the light on because I don't know, man. It's a good thing for the Big 12. Yes, it hurts my heart to see them win. But, you know, hopefully they'll keep winning until they come down. I love it. Texas is here in a few weeks and I played my Texas Tech Greater. So moving on. Good win for Notre Dame. Like I said, or not Notre Dame. Sorry. Colorado 48 to 21. I was looking at the wrong piece of paper. All right. Next game. This is a five o'clock kick on ESPN to this was a big rivalry game. This is the North Carolina Tar Hills coming in three and one heading to Duke to play the four and Oh, Blue Devils and the Blue Devils get the one point win 21 to 10. Just a tough win. You know, Duke was favored by three. So of course they don't cover over under on this one of 55 and a half. Damn. This is just a message paid for by veterans for all voters. Elections belong to the voters, not political parties. Paid for by veterans for all voters, Anthony Haas registered agent. The use of military rank and job titles does not implant doors meant by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense of this ballot measure. Man, Duke scores. Duke beat them 21 to 3 in the second half in scoring. North Carolina was up 17 to 0 at half. At the tele to half, that's why they say four quarters. You can't beat a team and two. It truly shows you something that Duke didn't get down trodden going down 17, 0 at half. They came out and did what they needed to do. And then North Carolina didn't put their foot on their rivals throat. And, you know, I hate to say it, but all these things I've said about North Carolina is coming true. As much as it hurts my heart to say it, I see Mac Brown being fired or stepping away. If not the here pretty soon. It could be it will be at the end of the season. He's losing that team. I'm not shooting on the Duke Blue Devils, but I think it all started last week with, you know, Jim, you scoring 70 on North Carolina in Chapel Hill. That started the whispers. Now they're starting to be, you know, yells in North Carolina that, you know, maybe Mac Brown just ain't it no more. So that's it. Running back, Star Thomas gets the player of the game. He rests the ball 30 times for 166 yards and a touchdown. Not much else will say about this, you know, 21 to 20 point win for Duke real close game, but it could have gone either way. But like I said, it's a telling two halves. Duke learned and UNC didn't moving on six o'clock kick on peacock. This was my, you know, yellow flag game. This was not necessarily. I was going to say upset special or predict Michigan State to upset Ohio State. I just said, Ohio State needs to be on upset alert. Strange shit happens at that stadium at night. And especially to the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes, like I said, coming in third ranked team in the country three, you know, heading to land East Lansing to play these Michigan State Spartans three and one as well. And the these Buckeyes do exactly what they're supposed to do. 38 to seven was the final score. Great win. They were favored by 24 and a half easily cover over under on this one was 49 and a half. So it ends up being a small under. Will Howard player of the game quarterback for the Bucks, 21 of 31, 244 yards, two touchdowns and a rush touchdown. I think they're finally starting to get each other. I think the whole Quinn shot, Judkins, Trevion Henderson, dynamic is starting to learn. They're trying. They're, they're figuring out when to play those guys when to give them a break. They're receivers are starting to do good. But this was a good I put right here. This was a good defensive game. I thought for Ohio State, a lot of people were saying that that is the best defensive playing. The defensive best defensive team in the country. Sorry. In the Ohio State Buckeyes with so many seniors and just, you know, five star guys on that side of the ball and their defense that you need games like this. You're going to have offensive games where you're only going to score 17, 20, 24 points. Hang, you know, don't let that team hang anything more than 10 and you're good. That offense is good enough to score enough points to beat some teams. You need a good defense that you're going to have to use, especially when you go up against an Oregon here pretty soon that can high fly, hang a bang on you, and you're going to need it. And that was a good test right there. I thought for the Ohio State Buckeyes is D. Good win for the Buckeyes 38-7 over Michigan State. 630 kick on NBC. This was another ranked on ranked game. This was in the Big 10, the 19th ranked Illinois fighting a lion eye for no going to ninth ranked Penn State who are 3 and 0. Penn State gets the win 21 to 7. I had this one on as well. Penn State was favored by 17. They don't cover over under on this one was 47 and a half ends up being in under Illinois scores 0 points the second, third and fourth quarters. I do believe they scored the opening drive. So one of the opening drives, I think, and after that Penn State said no more. I do like the dynamic of Nick Singleton and Katron Allen in the running back room for these Penn State Nandy Lions. I love that. I do not want Drew Larr throwing the ball 35, 40, 45, 50 times a game. That is not Penn State football completely, absolutely not. It's Big 10 football. It is it's run the ball. It's run the ball 35, 40 times with multiple running backs. I love it. Play great defenses where they wide out. It's beautiful to watch, man. It was awesome. It was a great game. Good. Show me win for Penn State because Illinois is not, you know, who they used to be. This was a team that has done some really great things these past couple of weeks and I still don't think they're done. But this was a, you know, measuring stick for Illinois as well. And they just didn't quite call Penn State a whole lot better than Nebraska. I'll tell you that right now. Good way for Penn State 21 to 7. It was in the 4 and 0. 630 kick on ABC. This was the game of the week. Absolutely. This was definitely a game that I was excited for. I think the whole country was excited for. I mean, they started playing the commercials for this game, you know, last Saturday night, to be honest. You'd see it on, you know, you're watching a show on a Tuesday night and they would show Georgia. Bama. Two versus four in the game of the surgery. You know, all that bullshit. You know what I'm saying? This was, of course, like I said, ABC 632, the number two ranked team in the country, the Georgia Bulldogs three, you know, heading to Bryant Denny to play the fourth ranked Alabama Crimson Tide come in three and 0. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I had Mike on this, Mike and his wife Claire. Super excited. They were completely floored at the environment, the hype, just a grandeur of a Georgia Alabama game. It's almost like a national championship game when these two teams play. And it is, you know, these are two teams that have one. I don't know how many in the past 10 years, maybe five of the last 10, you know, Kirby went into and then, you know, Alabama wins one. It seems like every other year or every other year. I mean, these are two powerhouses. I mean, it really is. And one team came out in the first half and just completely punched them in the mouth. This is a 30 to seven halftime score in favor of Alabama. I just hope nobody changed that channel or gave up on the Georgia Bulldogs at halftime because I knew Georgia would figure some shit out and come out and make a competitive. They tried, but just too much Alabama 41 to 34 was the final score for the Crimson Tide. Just great game. Just just very disheartening to see one team come out. Super ready to go. And the other team just got kind of limped around. It really was. I did not see that coming in Georgia. Absolutely not. That is not a Georgia DNA style team, especially the quarterback. Like I said, this is a guy that they're already come, you know, comparing him to a Caleb Williams that he is going to be the next number one overall pick in the NFL. You know, next year, you know, come April and just got those three interceptions. And I think one of them wasn't necessarily his fault, but two of them definitely was his fault. And definitely that's definitely one of the reasons why they lost. Ryan Williams, the wide receiver for Alabama. And we're 17, well 17 year old kid. He wasn't number 17. He is 17. Sorry, I just couldn't read what I wrote. Due to him, I had like 177 yards. Just blew my mind that a 17 year old kid is playing one of the biggest games of the year. Cool, calm, collective, and just no fear. And he caught a touchdown, you know, at one of the best plays of the game. Just shows you, man. Like, can you remember when you were 17, you know, take a take a second and close your eyes and go and then look in the mirror and go, man, can I be playing for Alabama and being a core player being a, you know, dependable player on the Alabama Crimson Tide, you know, play one of the best teams in the country. Just blows my mind. Some people just built different. But, you know, I've, you got to give it the player the game to the quarterback for the Crimson Tide. I think is the Heisman front runner right now easily. I mean, in the middle row, 27 of 33, six in completions. There's for 374 yards and two touchdowns. But he was more impressive on the ground. And my honest opinion. He rushed the ball 16 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns. I mean, those are running back numbers. And this is a quarterback. I mean, the dude goes eight **** for four touchdowns racks up over 400, almost 500 yards himself against the Georgia. Bulldogs. I mean, when I think of Georgia, I think of defense. That's exactly what I think of in Alabama. Just slapped him around to be perfectly honest with you. I hope these two teams play again. You know, in December, you know, in Mercedes-Benz Stadium for that SEC Championship because I want to see how good, how much better these teams will get, you know, come December. So good win though for Bama, not taking anything away from them. I do believe there will be the number one team in the country come week six. Good win. Like I said, 41 to 34 Georgia will learn a lot from this loss. I guarantee it nine o'clock kick on FS one. This was the Washington state. Cougars coming in for an O out of the pack 12 going to the blue field to play the 24th ranked 25th ranked. Sorry. Boise State Broncos two and one out of the Mountain West and the Mountain West comes out on top. Gibbs Washington state their first loss. 45 to 24. Boise was favored by two and a half or sorry, seven and a half. They covered over under on this one. 65 and a half. I mean, you don't talk about Boise State without talking about Ashton, Jean T, the running back for these Broncos. He rushed the ball 26 times for 259 yards and four touchdowns. And yes, I did the math. That is 9.9 yards per carry. That is stupid. You give him the ball. It's a first down every single time. And this is a guy I looked up and I cannot find where I wrote it. This guy has over 800 yards already in like 12 to 13 touchdowns on the season. He's going to have a thousand yards rushing. The use of military rank and job titles does not implant endorsement by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense of this ballot measure. In four games. Pretty damn much down there. And by the fifth game, he's going to have over a thousand. He's putting up over 200 every single game in that one game. He put up like 300 something. I mean, this is just if it's not Jalen Milro, it's Ashton Ginti. But like I said, Boise State has to keep winning in order for these things to happen. And if the season was to end the day, these Boise State Broncos would be in the playoff. All right, moving on. Last game that I told you guys to watch. This was a 915 kick on ESPN. This was the Arizona Wildcats coming in two and one going to the 10th ranked Utah. Youth's coming in four and oh, a big 12 tilt and the underdog Arizona Wildcats get the upset win in Rice Echoes Stadium 23 to 10. Head scratching loss for Utah. They were favored by 12 and a half. They don't cover over under on that was 50 and a half. Woof. Story of the game, though, goes to Arizona's defense. Utah goes 0 for 4 on fourth downs. Get him off the field. I mean, to beat a top 10 team is turnovers and keeping that offense off the field. And that's how Arizona did it. I mean, they only scored 23, but you held the number 10 team in the country to 10 points. That's how you win conference championships. I mean, Utah was one of the ones. I mean, they're a top 10 team in the country for a reason. They are the big 12 front runners right now and Arizona walked in there and did exactly what they needed to do. Played great defense score as much as they needed and got the upset win. Very nervous because that's who we play next week. Bonus games for you guys. Upset of the week. It seems like it happens every single week. Kentucky walks in to Hottie Tottie. Beats the number sixth ranked team in the country. The Ole Miss running Rebels 20 to 17. Yeah, typical Ole Miss man. They get talked about. They get left alone. You know, don't get no much shine on them. And then here it comes. They get upset. Good win for Kentucky. Ole Miss is the same Ole Miss. Moving on. Virginia Tech in Miami. This was a game that just got missed out. I seriously thought about putting this one on. And I was like, I can't put too many games. I have this allotted slot. As much as I want to give you guys 18 games, it's just too many. I have to trim the fat every once in a while. And this is one of the ones I trimmed. This was Virginia Tech going to Miami, the seventh ranked team in the country. And Miami ekes out of win 38 to 34. Very controversial play at the end of the game too that ended up saving the you their season. It really did. I think Virginia Tech should have won that game. Miami finally got tested. That number started to get higher and higher for these hurricanes. And they're not going to just eke out. They're not going to sneak up on anybody anymore. They're going to get teams' best shot. Like I said, how can you play when you're the hunted, not the hunters? Oh, you get a tough win down in Jordan here against Auburn. Went 27 to 21. Auburn was in charge of this game. Damn near the whole game up until the last couple minutes of the game. Auburn was just trying to drag it out, not time off the clock. And boom, pick six. Boom, turn it around. And Oklahoma's flipped the field on him again, score. And Auburn just this literally like head on the swivel. That's all they're doing. They're going, damn, what the fuck just happened? We were winning four minutes ago. Now we're losing. It was nuts. Good win for OU. Definitely needed that win, especially after a, you know, hard fought loss to Tennessee. Good win, especially in a hard place to play like Jordan here, for sure. The BYU Cougars, the first place in the big 12 BYU Cougars, 17th ranked team in the country. Going down to Waco and beat the Baylor Bears 34 to 28. Very disheartening to see pictures of this on Twitter and, you know, on the little things that they show during the game. They'll put in live looks. There was a lot of blue in that stadium and that was Baylor Stadium. There was not very many Baylor Bears fans in that stadium. It's really disheartening, but good win for BYU. I love it. It's definitely a team that was not getting any, getting any love from CM. So big ups to the BYU Cougars. Y'all keep doing y'all staying. I hope y'all go undefeated until the conference championship because you don't play my Texas to take the Raiders into. So do it to it, guys. The number one team in the country, the Texas Longhorns, eke out a win, 35 to 13 against Mississippi State. He's probably saying 35 to 13, eke out. Man, this is like a 12 to 6 game for the longest time. Mississippi State is, to be honest, was looking like one of the worst ICC teams in the past couple of weeks. And Texas is just like I said it before. I'll say it again. They're the number one team in the country. They're going to get every team's best shot. They're not just going to walk out there and beat team 70 to 0. It's not happening. I don't care if they're playing and team is 0 and 6. That 0 and 6 team is going to play your ass off against you. Man, you're the first year in the SEC. You're the number one team in the country. Just SEC teams have fucking pride, man. They'd love to beat you. Just like the game that I just talked about a while ago. Auburn and OU, do you not think that those Auburn fans and those Auburn commentators and stuff were chomping at the bit to beat the Oklahoma Sooners their first year in the SEC? You're damn right they are. Texas got to do something, man. I know Manning's the shit, no, but 35 to 13, man. Come on against one of the worst teams in the SEC. Y'all got to show me something, man. Show me something quick. Texas Tech gets to win over the Cincinnati Bearcats, 44 to 41. Great game, man. Man, back and forth, up and down, had all kinds of stuff going for it, man. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey, the homeboys, the faces of the NFL. You know, this was a battle of their alma martyrs and I'd love to see what they bet or what they have to do. You know, in case, you know, one of them, well, of course, win, one of them lost. So it's going to be very exciting to see very, very soon. That win goes to my Red Raiders, 44 to 41. SMU gets a beat down on FSU, 42 to 16. Yeah, I think Florida State has finally thrown in the White's towel. They have given up officially. And SMU, this is like the second week in a row that they've played really, really well. I want to see who they have got on their schedule upcoming. I know they are in the ACC. That is a conference of Clemson and that has got, you know, the Miami Hurricanes, maybe even in Louisville. FSU, once it gets more love, get back in that top 25 conversation. We got to see it against better competition. Yes, you beat the brakes off of Florida State, but, you know, who hasn't? I'm moving on. Last little bit of information, guys. Navy and Army are both 4-0, man. Congratulations to those two military academies. I hope they continue to be 4-0. I mean, not 4-0. Undefeated. So, you know, at the end of the year, man, the Army Navy game, one of the best, you know, games, rivalry games period, is, you know, two 11-0 teams. Man, truly, I really do wish that. And they said it's the first time since the '40s, the 1940s, that both Army and Navy are undefeated. So, I love that. About that. About military schools, man. That is so great. Before I shout out, you know, sign off and give you guys the long kiss, good night. Big shout out to Claire, 20 men. Mrs. Grim Reaper. Of course, I've been texting him. I text the boys all the time and Howard. And, of course, you know, the Grim. And, you know, she listens to the show now. She starts watching college. She's starting to watch college football now. And I said, you know what? What's her name? I would love to give her a shout out on the Week 5 review show. So, there you go, Mrs. Claire. You keep listening to the show and keep watching college football because it's only going to get better. You're only going to get more accustomed to some of these great, you know, conferences and great games and some of these great powerhouse teams. And I'm always going to enlighten you on some of these little guys as well and give you cool things to look out for and so much and so on and so forth. I am Professor CM. I'm here to educate. And I'm here to have fun. So, you guys, thank you so much. Big shout out to her. And, of course, big shout out to everybody else out there, everybody at the football function. Mr. Ritter, Mr. Minifield, that boy, Grim, like I said, you're the man, dude. And, of course, Howard Poole and Goose. All you guys, man, thank you guys so much. Keep doing a great job. Take pride in what you do. Just know that you got a lot of people that are pulling for you at any given moment. And, you know, just put your all in all this because I really do. I don't necessarily always want to do this homework. I don't always want to hit that record button. I'm not always in the mood, but I get up for it because I go, oh, there might be one person. There might be one person that is looking forward to listening to CM in the next couple of days. And I do it for that one person, that one new listener, that one new follower, that one new, you know, potential. I do it for that person, but if all you are the guys that keep coming back and listening to this stooge and loving Texas, I cannot thank you enough because I do my damnedest. Like I said, I really, truly do. I do it because I love this shit, man. I really, really do. You guys take care. I will see you guys very, very soon in the next couple of days with the Week 6 preview show. Kind of lackluster, kind of been looking into it, started yesterday, and then I started doing it earlier today. You're not going to have, you know, your Alabama's in Georgia's. Not that great, a slate of games, but I promise I will find the diamonds in the rough. I will find you guys at least 10 or 12 games to potentially watch at all given times of the day, whether it be Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. You guys take care, big shout outs to everybody else out there, gave the function, all the guys you guys you love. My family and friends, of course, Sean Olde and Andy Lefan. That's the reason we're usually stuck voting for the lesser of two evils. Colorado's plan creates an open primary where all candidates appear on one primary ballot. Every voter has the freedom to vote for any candidate, no matter which party. The Colorado plan advances four candidates to the general election, not two. That means more choices for voters in the primary and general election. Get the facts. Elections belong to the voters, not political parties. Paid for by veterans for all voters, Anthony Haas registered agent.
