It's just that the bears have to take care of their own business just to catch up It is the best division in football. It is we thought there would be one Team at the bottom clearly minnesota their forno Roll Packers have a banged up quarterback. Yeah, this Surprising got to be true to yourself, man Here's jay norley Speaking of caplin hoodie one david caplin once said that 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns would be a Disappointing season for calib Williams and his rookies said if he went less than that it would be disappointing be accurate All right day one david caplin said less than 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns would be disappointing numbers for calib Williams in his rookie season calib is currently on pace for 3200 yards and 13 touchdowns after four games shot or no shot calib Williams has been Disappointing so far Uh, that's a no shot that he's been disappointing but the offense as a whole That it started slow has been disappointing It's a it's a no shot because I'm going to stay constant and consistent of what i've been saying since he was drafted And there's going to be growing pains with the number one pick of the draft It just it just is as much as we would love to see the cj shroud type of Trajectory like we saw last year with him I'm not sure we're gonna get that in the first year because with shane waldren with calib Williams with this offensive line He won't reach those numbers. I never thought that in in june he'd reach those numbers So so i'm not gonna take a not gonna turn a blind eye to a nowshay calib Williams has not been disappointing He's not i think that the game plan for that he's had has been disappointing That's in front of him. I think the offensive line has been disappointing I think he's made a share of mistakes, but i expected that the latter right i expected that it's calib Williams and i'm seeing them progress Yeah Each week. So no, it's a it's not a shot for me Okay. Yeah, i've always said for me 3220 plus would be i'd be over the moon like that would be incredible out of a rookie quarterback So in a playoff spot cap i'm i'm gonna offer you the opportunity to say under 4 000 yards And under 30 touchdowns would not be a massive disappointment But what is it? It's not just that what is What are the numbers he's on pace for 3200 yards and 13 touchdowns that seems difficult if he gets to 3200 yards And it only has 13 touchdowns i'd be amazed i'll be very disappointed. I think it's probably 3220 Is about what we're looking at realistically I mean, I would hope hope That he throws for more than 20 touchdowns Is 20 good enough to get to the playoffs? Because that's all i care about Good point. That's how are we running the football? That's all i've ever cared about on this side of the table. Are you are you getting to the post season? But whatever the numbers are i don't care how ugly they are how great they are can give the post season Can you get there with 20 touchdowns 25? I don't care I just want him to get better and want him protected. Mm-hmm. That's what that's all i've cared about It's all i've been saying the entire time Are you in the playoffs with those numbers? If they have so thumbs up 40 touchdowns 20 touchdowns i don't care just just get in please yep giving the tournament Yep, see so to get your beak beak wet when it comes to getting to the post season day You can move forward from there now to pop up start now and then just get better every year That's all i want Jay norley all right only two divisions in football have all four teams combined to be over 500 the afc west and the nfc north The nfc north teams are a combined 13 and five through four weeks with only one divisional game played so far 13 and five for a division is Unbelievable yeah shot or no shot the nfc north is far and away the best division in football this shot The shot and I know that before the season shay We talked about the north's the nfc and afc north to be the two best divisions out there But then you saw the browns and the bingles in their start not saying this is who they who they are You know for the rest of the season but clearly the nfc north is the class Because it's it's tough. It's very difficult You agree?
