Anyone wondering why Israel is going after Hezbollah in Lebanon? Check your calendars. One day marks one year since Hamas launched a barbaric attack against Israeli civilians. The terrorists murdered 1,200 people raped many others and took some 250 hostages. Some have been released, others died in custody. Israel rightly responded going after Hamas operations, which are often purposely located in or near hospitals and schools for maximum collateral damage. Hamas is quite happy to murder its own people. Hamas, of course, operates as an extension of Iran, as does Hezbollah, which has been launching thousands of rockets at Israel for the last year. Israel's taken out the terrorist leadership with remarkable efficiency, including inside Iran. This is how it's been for decades. Israel would sabotage Iran's nuclear program. Iran would get its proxies to go after Israel. But now that Iran fired missiles at populated areas of Israel this week, expect Israel to respond more forcefully. The mullos of Iran may have a death wish, but when it gets serious, We'll see, that's really just for other people.
