It's time for the Friday. Who's hot? And who's not? Hot, the writers. A two-game winning streak, as they take on the godless elk this weekend. Not. I refuse to say elks. That's like saying "mooses" or "deers." Stupid Edmonton. Hot. Jimmy Carter turns 100. His life is an expiring example of decency, public service, and working on behalf of democracy around the globe. Not. Bizarro. Jimmy Carter. Also known as Donald Trump. A life of self-centered greed and willingness to tear down democracy. The unsealed January 6th indictments this week paint that picture pretty well. Hot. The election campaign underway in Saskatchewan. Hot. An electorate that follows the campaigns to make an informed decision then actually votes. And finally, hot. October. The colors. The tang in the air. This is my favorite time of year.
