So it's tough sledding. - Cackies, belts. - Looking forward to it. Cackies. - Coaching shirt. - Cackies belt coaching shirt. Yep, I'm doing the full Jim Harbaugh cold plunge tomorrow. - Hey, that sounds brutal. - I wish I had like a Michigan coaching shirt or something, you know, like a-- - Oh yeah. - Something like an actual, like something Jim-- - Or a ball of charter. - Like a hat or something even where-- - Chargers gear. - Chargers gear or whatever. - Cack. - Yeah. - The cold intimidates me. They were the better team last night and they got us three. - Jerry Dawson over there. - Damn. - Okay, Cowboys continued to prepare for their game in Pittsburgh against a Steelers team that is a three and one and they're winning ugly, Brian. - They're winning ugly. We'll talk about their defense at 3.40 today. - I love it because, you know, I feel like right now if you give me crusty scouting reports on Wednesday and Thursday, I can run the table for the rest of the season, you know? And I feel like it's very predictable what kind of teams that are gonna give the Cowboys trouble. And if it doesn't match that description, you know, I'm gonna look for this team to have some success. Now, maybe it'll throw a wrench in my plans here with the two edge players being out, but crusty's corner is gonna paint you a heck of a picture coming up at 3.40. Astro's losing yesterday during the GBAC nation was glorious and it could get even better. If you look at this division and the power of it, one of their big off season decisions is now steering them in the face. And it's bigger than the Rangers with a Volty. Alex Breggman, Jose Altuve was trying to speak in a new existence that he's coming back in the post game. But a lot of people saying, yeah, you know, we'd love to have him back, that kind of stuff. It's hard to say considering how the Astros have let superstars walk. Springer gone, Correa gone. He's 30 years old. He's put in nine seasons with the Astros, considered a major piece of their clubhouse culture. And, you know, without him, just, you know, they're already at 87 wins. I think maybe they fall back and the window would be officially closed. And to make it even sweeter, his agent is one Scott Boris. Oh, Scobo, he's off a bad one too. Yeah, we're up off season. Yeah, he sure did. He can let that happen again. Watch. Yeah, Breggman's going to get his bag for real. Yeah, they're going to figure it out. He's not going to let that thing go. He's already done the thank you Houston. Yeah, he's probably gone. This is going to be interesting to see what happens in Houston. Could be the end of a dynasty there. So they might look internally. They did that with Carlos Correa. We're able to find a solid replacement. But eventually, man, that pipeline, I don't know if they're going to keep being able to pump them out like that. So this could be big. I can definitely see a changing of the guard here. It's been a slow deterioration and a great run. I'm envious of their run, to be honest, like I just, I wish Ray Davis would be more aggressive about going after that kind of multi-year run. And it just does not appear like he is going to answer back with that kind of financial aggressiveness. Yeah, I'll tell you what. You know, I was listening to Correa Mike, I mean, Kevin and Mike talk about the tax and stuff like that. Man, that sounds like devastating with the way, when they're 50% of the, I mean, gosh, dang. I mean, the threshold, I think Kevin was saying it was like 230 and you're like at 170, but still it's, you get over that for three years, you pay that tax, you lose all those, you lose picks. Yeah, it is international money. Handicabs your big time. It sounds like, man, you might have a great team, but man, it sounds like a lot of things they're trying not to, they're trying not to encourage you to do it. Yeah, yeah, no, they're not. But teams are, that should be notable. Like the teams that are getting good and staying good, they just look at it like, okay, we're going to lose draft picks. So we have to be able to spend even more to supplement the lack of young talent that's coming in. And the TV deals and the revenue is enough that it's still a sustainable business model as well. You just have to have, you know, a good TV deal, which the Rangers don't. And you have to have an owner that's willing to make a little bit less of millions and millions of dollars, you know? It's just, and we need to prove that he's not Scrooge McDavis. That's what I need to see Ray do this off season. Prove it, buddy, because it kind of looks like you built a team when they had the new stadium built for you for free. And you were like, hey, let's try to give him some talent and pack the house. And you accidentally won a World Series. It's kind of what it looks like to me right now, Ray. Are you in this fight or not? Okay, morning news has a Rangers story. I'm talking with the CY here. He believes the best is still to come for Jacob de Grom. Obviously Ray was committed when he signed on old Jacob, but he's about to be 37. And now he hasn't, he hasn't done a lot for the Rangers so far. So maybe this is just the bar being low because you'd only have to pitch seven games at a Jacob de Grom level to have your best season yet. But you know what CY means here? Yeah, you know, or how optimistic are you guys right now for a good Jacob de Grom season? And let's clarify that like 20 starts, right? 20 starts healthy for a postseason run. Oh man, I do, I am confident that the version of him that we are getting is going to be an elite version. Yes, it's just, it's hard to have any trust. Now he has had this before and lasted a good bit until it blew out on him again. So he should be in year one fine. So I'd probably go six out of 10 confidence meter. Yeah. Yeah, I, I think that's a, that's a fair number. It's about a D for the confidence. But the stuff I think is still going to be stuff this stuff. No, that's, that's the great thing is you can tell already, he's going to hit triple digits. Yeah, I mean, he's going to be on hit. Yeah, now if you're having a couple of starts already, it was really nice. So I'm pretty optimistic that he's going to be healthy for the majority of the season and you'll have him for the postseason. So I mean, I'm, I, I guess I'd go in an eight. I mean, maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I think he's, he's for this year at least he'll be available. 682 says race sign deals of like a half a billion dollars. How much do you want him to spend more? You know, the, the, the payroll right now is $60 million under what the luxury tax threshold is. You have to be willing to go into luxury tax to, to maintain a championship roster. And, you know, I, I just, I can't imagine, you know, being that, at that age and having this much talent on the team and deciding, well, no, let's go back to much more conservative management here of this, of this payroll. So I can make sure I'm profitable. Yeah, especially when you've had a taste of the glory. Yeah, I know what it tastes like. You do nothing tastes better on the tongue than victory. And it doesn't seem like Ray has the same type of taste buds as the rest of us. The mavs are hungry story for them the day after still no signs of concern for Lucas calf contusion. So that's good. We really need that to get resolved here in the next couple of weeks. I know sometimes I'm not sure the difference is, but sometimes these calves can go on for a long time and, you know, it's, it's, it's threatening like the whole Kevin Durant thing, you know, but no sign that we need to be looking at that injury in that sort of a context right now. Do you guys like it when March madness is in town? Because the NCAA has announced. I mean, I've never gone. So I guess like maybe it doesn't really make that big of a difference. But I kind of like the option to be able to go. I think it's cool to have in the city. Yeah, it's coming to Fort Worth to Dickies Arena. It'll host the first and second round games for the men's basketball tournament in in 2027. And in 2028, you will have NCAA tournament regionals. They're going to be at the AC once again. So always pretty cool when when it's in town. It's it is a different experience to go. It's a very unique experience. When you go to a football stadium to watch the actual final four. Yeah, I, you know, nothing against Fort Worth, but I kind of would find myself. And I heard Dickies Arena is actually pretty nice, but I it is for a concert at least. If you told me that all the games, the regionals and the first and second round games were at the double AC, which is just stones throw away. Yeah, I think I'm interested in much more doable. Yeah. Yeah. The Fort Worth thing, I think it'd have to kind of tie it into, okay, what else can I do over there? Maybe we can get our show out there. That'd be cool. That'd be pretty fun. I'd love to be able to do like it or show like in a college environment. Like if the, you know, we got the cotton bowl coming up here, you know, it's going to be, it's going to be, it's going to be, but semi final, right? The, this shouldn't play offs. Yeah. But yeah, the game out at AT&T is going to be a national semi final. Nice. So right before you get to the championship, so maybe they let us broadcast out there. That'd be kind of fun. Heck yeah, it would. Okay, boxing champion, Terrence Bud Crawford said he turned down a deal to fight Conor McGregor would have been hundreds of millions of dollars. Saudi Arabia's general entertainment authority had offered them a two fight agreement, one in boxing, the other in MMA, they know how to put on a sporting spectacle, like no other, because that's what we need when these boxing and MMA guys are going at it, like back to back or one day, and then the next day you do this one, but quote from Crawford, me and Connor got on the phone, started politics and to try and figure something out. Man, I'm not going into the bleeping off to gun with you. So you can be kicking and elbowing me. It was the quote from Terrence Crawford, but even Terrence Crawford understands what Chad Johnson can't wrap his mind around right now, where he's getting into the octagon with James Harrison. He's not getting into the boxing ring. He's getting into the octagon. It's just insane. There's a total difference there, even your best boxers like, no, I'm not doing that, even if McGregor might be washed up and. Yeah, I mean, I still think MMA, obviously Connor would win that. Terrence Crawford would beat the crap out of him in a boxing match. I think Crawford, I'd love to see him in Canelo make that happen. And we'll see if Connor McGregor, I've heard supposedly the reason he still hasn't fought in the UFC is they've got a new TV rights agreement they're trying to do. And they only have Connor for two more fights on his deal. So part of that is like, Hey, we're trying to earn more money. Cause we've got two more fights of Connor McGregor. If you want it, ever since ever since Crawford did. Errol spent like that. I just wanted him to get wet by somebody. You know, we can all can do it. Never forgive him. G back of the day again coming up in just a few. Here's Wolf Chuck with some NFL awards. Yeah, this was a fun article Bill Barnwell of ESPN put out there. We're already a month into the season. That's crazy week five of the NFL three week six of college football. It's pretty nuts, but it is flying by. So let's look and reflect first four weeks of the season. Who would you be handing out these awards? Do we start coach of the year and there's nine teams that are three and one or four and oh and most of those coaches probably would be in the conversation here for coach of the year, Barnwell ranks his top three candidates. Kevin O'Connell, the Vikings, obviously undefeated. They lose JJ McCarthy. They're rookie quarterback. Sam Darnold has come in and been absolutely awesome. Number two, Todd Bowles of the box, a team that I did not take seriously after they had quite a season last year, losing to the lions in the division around. They've looked great. Bakers continued to be successful. And then Dan Quinn with the commanders at number three, of course, three and one. And Jayden Daniels is looking absolutely brilliant. Who do you think would be if you want to throw another coach in there, you could. Maybe Mike McDonald, rookie year with the Seahawks has them at three and one. You got to go Buffalo, don't you? When Sean McDermott, all the losses that they've had. Okay. I like that. Yeah. You know, I think helping Josh Allen, taking another step with the offense, right? The fact that they're scoring points, they are, you know, maybe going to join the Shanahan, McVay crowd as far as folks that are innovating with motion and deception at the snap to give guys an advantage. Dan Quinn's did a pretty damn good job at the commanders already. He has, you know, I mean, they, uh, they're lost though. I mean, it, that's, you guys talked about the schedule that they had because of the last place scheduled, they're going to take full advantage of that. They have legitimate quarterback to get legitimate skill players. Their defense doesn't have to be great because they've got a dual threat quarterback with his ability to throw the football. He's deadly accurate the way that he plays. Commanders are going to be tough. Now we'll see in the playoffs what happens when they have to play. Baltimore will be a big test for them coming up, but I, I kind of feel like that Dan Quinn's got the thing going on the right, the right direction for them. Uh, I mean, I like both of those answers. Dan Quinn, uh, certainly Sean McDermott, who's not getting love here. I, I do have to fight for Kevin O'Connell. I think what they've done, you know, being undefeated, a team that I didn't think was going to be very good defensively with bringing in Bryan Flores, the job that he's been able to do. But I think Kevin O'Connell is putting himself up into the conversation of for sure phase in the, he's, he's taken another step here. But, uh, first quarter of the year, man, I, those are all three good selections. Come back player of the year. JK Dobbins, Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, are the top three in consideration for Mark Arnewell. And now it feels like it's kind of, we, we, nobody else, maybe Nick Chubb and TJ Hoggins, when they get back, but yeah, JK Dobbins, I guess we get that, that it is kind of gross offensive rookie of the year. I think it's really down to two NFC guys, right? Jayden Daniels and Malik neighbors. And it's hard not to give the quarterback. I think I got to go Daniels. Yeah. What he's doing, that position is just so insanely difficult to step in and have the composure and, uh, the playmaking that he's exhibited already. He, in a lot of ways, he's, he's looking so comfortable. He looks like a vet, you know, at the top of his game. It looks kind of like an MVP candidate. We'll see, you know, it's a long season. And I think the, the, the, the defensive difficulty that he's up against right now, it has been on easy mode, but there are plenty of NFL young quarterbacks who would have failed against the same slate. Yeah. I, I agree with you a hundred percent. I think Jane Daniels is the real deal. And I mean, his ability when we're going to get to see it against a better team in Baltimore in a couple of weeks were really hot, but I wouldn't be shocked if, if they find a way to win that football game, defensive player of the year is a good one, cause I think a lot of the guys that we thought would be in contention here have not performed well early. Michael Parsons, uh, Crosby hasn't had quite the start to the season. Myles Garrett's been a little up and down, been banged up a little bit, but they've got Aiden Hutchinson in federal war. Yeah. I was going to look at Aiden Hutchinson. I feel like that, man, I'm, I'm sure next week when we look at his tape, it, you talk about TJ Watt this week and then, but Hutchinson, man, he is a, he's a beast when it comes to, yeah, you know, he just, he never stops and he never comes off the field. He just constantly playing and you get some of these guys that rotate in and out and he, he just doesn't, he just stays out there in place. If four and a half sacks in one game against the bucks. Exactly. That is freaking incredible. What he's done. Yeah. He's been absolutely a monster. He leads everybody in pass rush win rate. Uh, he's tied for most tackles for loss. He's been, he's been an absolute stud. I think Chris Jones should be in this conversation in Fred Warner. I think those are the two guys for me that don't get enough credit. Like we get Miles Garrett's won it TJ Watts wanted. I mean, watching what Fred Warner did last week with that pick six, I'm just thinking to myself, damn, he probably should win a defensive player of the year award. The dude is absolutely unbelievable. He's banged up going into this week, but I, I Fred Warner to me, I, I, I hope he gets one because he's deserving and let's not understand, uh, understate the, uh, the certain island that is taking place in Denver. He's just locking dudes up. And obviously if you're, if you're a secondary player and you get that award, it's because you probably got a bunch of interceptions, but tip of the cap to him. He's been incredible. He's locking dudes up. Best thing since Revis Island, I think called the Puff Daddy award. Locking dudes up. No, Diddy. Uh, and then finally let's do our MVP. Who would be your MVP one month into the season? Barnwell and narrows it down to Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jaden Daniels. But maybe Sam Darnold is in the conversation for a few, uh, among maybe some other quarterbacks that can get some love here, Brock Purdy. But yeah, I think that I probably have to lean one month into the season. I guess I'd go with Josh Allen for a lot of the things that you said there. Yeah, Evan. Yeah. Yeah. Incredible. You know, you lose your number one receiver. Uh, I mean, the, the losses over the last two years combined are, are staggering. And I, you know, I think this is what you ask that next level of quarterback to do. Yeah. Hey, our, our window is probably closing QB. What do you say? I think he's going to be 20% better. Like this is what I think cowboy fans were hopeful you'd see with Dak. You lose some talent around you. Are you still able to kind of be that, you know, stud at the position to keep this thing humming? And I think at times, like Dak's been capable of doing that, but I think Josh Allen, now they did just get completely destroyed by both more. I understand that, but they were looking like the best team in football prior to it. I think we all have respect for both. They're still legit. Yeah. With Josh Allen's been able to do with a limited supporting cast and raising his level of play, it deserves a lot of recognition. You're going to lose some games, but they've asked him to limit his mistakes. And he's done that, you know, the turnovers just aren't there. And, you know, we'll see quarter mark of the season. That's what it looks like though, Brian. So no love for Sam Darnell then, huh? No, I think Darnell deserves love. I just think with him, I mean, he is playing. And it's such a high level that you look at the touchdowns, the interceptions for him or low, you know, the yards per attempt. I mean, one of the reasons why we all thought the Vikings were going to die. Yeah. I mean, I know I did. No, yeah, we all did. And he is, he is completely, you know, reworked himself. I think that you're in San Francisco really helped him. Yeah. You know, Kevin, the Connell helps him currently. Connell's great, but you've learned a lot being in that San Francisco system, how to play quarterback. I think that's helped him a lot Vikings, defense is next level nasty too. It's time now. People are laughing at me because of Trey Lance. You didn't learn how to play quarterback at San Francisco. He sure did not even Mike McDaniel wants nothing to do with that. He prides under to do a draft and time to go into the pimp cup. We're Lucius has your G back of the day. Had to go over some of this top secret audio with the boss before I played to make sure it might have been pretty high. You know what I mean? Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. All right. So our winner so far of G back down. Don't give me my vibes back. There we go. Our winner so far of G back of the day is Wollchuck. What is this day two for you, Phil? Yeah. And so think so. Given the day to you. I still want to run. Yeah. Five time on her. Yeah. He got it to his cowboy feels and the fan text triggered him. So he brought greatness out. You know what I mean? Most artists are my jazz helps too. I feel like, you know, you know, you know, you don't want to pat my back. I think this is really your G bag of the day. You were feeding my confidence in the 817. When did sports talk radio just become? Let's hear our tear our team a new one. When the hell are you all going to say anything positive? I'll say something positive when they don't just crap down their leg and break your damn hearts every year. Yeah, I'm sick and tired of being positive after a winning against the Giants that should have been a loss if the Giants had a quarterback because their team's not that damn good. Yeah, OK, I did it all last year. And then what happened against Green Bay? You got completely crapped on. So I'm sorry if it's not going to be rainbows and sunshine all the time. This team deserves it. Yeah, they deserve it. They deserve you to be critical. Stop kissing their ass for everything they do. They haven't won anything in 30 years. It's the Dallas Cowboys. It's not the Cleveland Browns. They were once a proud franchise. They're not anymore. They deserve all the smoke. They do. And by the way, we'll finish this Cowboys Twitter. That was a great rant from Wolf Chuck once again, by the way. I'm this very frustrating. So it's annoying. Well done, Molly. This way. Yeah, I was great, man. All right, let's see here. We got what we got. All right, so I wanted to shake this off last week. I played it for LA live coach JB from Last Chance U. Yeah. So smoke for male Kuiper. Cover two over the cover two situation and meaning to play it. But every time some new audio pops up, you know, it jumps it into the line. But you know, I found this chance today. So here's a coach JB last chance you on Netflix. Now coach JB was coach of the year at one point. Very toxic, though. Imagine a man standing in front of chalkboard with an X's and O's and everything. And all in front of him. And he also has like a little martini glass. And his finger is up and there's all of in it. So now you want to say, do you have five yards? No, Kuiper, you've never been right on a draft yet. You said Riley was the guy you. Now we want to say, do you have five yards? So you can go post a stall worth in 1967. And you'll be wearing mother [BLEEP] Holy [BLEEP] you guys on ESPN are [BLEEP] man. Now we have to dictate to the quarterback and quarterback. Please, I know we're also [BLEEP] but let's play cover two mean of [BLEEP] times you [BLEEP] idiots. Oh. Dan Orloff, you said it came up my zone by the [BLEEP] you [BLEEP] me. [LAUGHTER] You don't know [INAUDIBLE] tie that skinny bean pear. You tie that skinny bean pear. You mother [BLEEP] don't know football. Get me out there mother [BLEEP] you guys [BLEEP] [MUSIC PLAYING] skinny bean pants. Yeah, man. You guys don't know football. Tele-toxic right there. Coach JB, last chance to you. Great show, by the way. Let's see here. Yesterday was a church day. I pray you got your blessing. Shout out to my Reverend Dr. Pastor Freddie Haynes. He might try to intimidate us, but you can't stop us. Ain't that right, Freddy. We have a church pastor that wants to break the binds of the booty call. I don't stand for this whatsoever. I do not stand for this whatsoever, but I got to let this man get his thing off. You help me real quick. I don't chief his back. Shop somebody and say break the booty call. Break the booty call. I give you permission right now to bring the name of Jesus. I take authority over the booty call. I know what I heard about the spirit of God. Break the booty call. Some of you can't say, man, because you're going to see him at brunch. In the name of Jesus, I bind the booty call. Or get tripper. All right, the blood against the booty call. The blood against the booty call. Ain't no more unchained to find sex. I'm a holly. Amen. He was in his bag there. I mean, that's definitely got to get Guinness on this, because that's the most booty call. Booty calls ever dropped in a sermon of all time. I'm so upset with the booty calls, bro. Because he had so mad at the booty call. Yo, ghosted on his last-- You guys in something happened, bro? Something happened. Something happened, man. Something happened. She-- Booty calls just the whole people down back in the day. She doing what you mean what you doing? I'm looking for you. I'm looking for you. [LAUGHTER] Get in the shower, I'm on my way. All right, let's see here. This is the best-dern coach prime impersonation that I've ever heard, best-dern coach prime impersonation. Yeah, how stupid is that? This is Travis Hunter. This is Travis Hunter. This is Travis Hunter. That's who he is. He's a tremendous player. What do you do to that? Somebody help me here. Help me tell me. Am I seeing something? Tell me I do. Tremendous game tonight. Thankful that we can come out with the win. Bro, that's good. That's very good. Really? Tremendously proud of the way the result is. And these guys came out there almost out of the ball. [LAUGHTER] That man was-- Wow. Let's go. Who is this? And his bag, bro. Let's do this. Awesome. Yes. Yeah, that's the greatest first impersonation of coach prime I've ever heard. Yeah, that's right. Travis Hunter. Travis Hunter. That's good, bro. Did this thing? That's going to be hard to beat. Damn. Tell you, right now, we got a champ. We got a three challengers. Any more challengers? How is it, bro? OK, is it Willy Bully's Cowboys rant? Is it coach JB last chance you? Is it the pastor who wants to break the booty call? Or is it the best-done coach of prime impersonation? That's who I'm voting for, chief. How about you? Give me the bully. I'm breaking the vines. No, I'm not doing that. I'm not voting for that, man. It's killing the vines, bro. You got to experience life. Let's see here what we want. Yeah, we'll go, Willy. Let's go. I'll go with coach Brown. Brian, you know what to do. Vote, Willy. Buy a score of three to two. And still, your G bag of the day champion, it's Zach Wolchuck for telling it like it is. But your Dallas Cowboys. Tell it like it is. Like the hair on his chinny chin chin. I thought Coach Prime might have unsat him today. It was close. It was Travis Brown. That was damn good. Travis Brown. That is really good, bro. It's been about again. Hold on. I got to play this one a bit more. I'm sorry, man. That's really good. Yeah. How stupid is that? Yeah. This is Travis Hunter. This is Travis Hunter. This is Travis Hunter. Bro, come on. Bad man, boy. You smoke that, fam. Whoever you are, you smoke that. All righty. A college football darti coming up next. Chief, what have we got? Why arching the Buckeyes are on a collision course, plus the craziest prop bets of all time and an Aggie family affair next year in the nation. Yes, sir. Thank you, Lucius. It is the cheap back nation here on the fan. It's time to darti college football style. Here's the chief. That's right. It is a thirsty Thursday. Let's go ahead and do it. And I think we could all drink to this. 55 straight days of football starts tonight. Oh, baby. Let's go. There until Tuesday, November 26th, we have either college football or the NFL on every single day, starting tonight, again, until Tuesday, November 26th. So there will always be either some college football, some NFL or one or the other every single day from now until then. Very, very exciting. 55 straight days of footballing starts right now. Unfortunately, it's not commercial free red zone style, but it does start now and that's pretty dang exciting. I do have a couple of college football nuggets for you courtesy of Cole Kublick. Alabama is number one in the AP poll for the 141st time. That is 36 more than any other school. Can you guess that other school USC, Gavin Dawson, college football guy of the day that is right, Brian Ohio State. Yeah, Ohio State, the Ohio State, it's Iowa and Nebraska, by the way, I was mentioning this yesterday. Haven't allowed a rushing touchdown this season and it was Iowa, but I couldn't remember who the other team was. It was Nebraska. Go big red. And then we just mentioned Ohio State there. The college football teams that are in the top five of scoring offense and scoring defense right now. The only two that can raise their hand Ohio State and Tennessee to two quality programs. That's for sure. Now, speaking of Ohio State, Cooper Manning, father of arch, just shed some light on why he's pretty thankful that arch was able to get some snaps. We know and wall Chuck, you have talked about this for quite some time really since arch ended up at Texas with Quinn, you were being there and it was just the idea of the manning patients. They are not like hell bent on arch being the starter until it's his time. They have no issue with him playing four years in college before going to the NFL. So it hasn't been a big deal for him to sit back, but his dad did acknowledge like, Hey, this is pretty cool that he got some snaps. He says selfishly, I kind of look ahead to next year, Texas goes into their opening game. They go to Ohio State in that first game of the season next year. So he says selfishly, I'm glad that he had a few snaps and knows like what it is to start and play a little bit because going into Columbus for your first start of your life would probably not be the ideal opener. So I'm glad he has a little gray hair there is the quote from his dad gray hair. And that was a nice friendly reminder that what a build up that's going to be for next year where it's arch banning and potentially the reigning national champion, Texas Longhorns going to the shoe. See that's where they're kind of talking about more of the Southeastern Conference big 10 match. I love it. But Michigan and Texas, we've seen, you know, Wisconsin, Alabama, I mean, that's, that's, that's what we need to see every week. Iron Charles and hard. You get that playoff expansion. We don't have to worry about protecting our status as much. Let's just, let's get some good games going. Now this dude Ashton Gente, yes, runner, runner, yes. And I believe Dean Bruegler has him as his number one back in the draft and it's supposed to be a pretty awesome running back class, but right now it's being led by Boise States running back Ashton Gente. And I can't for the life of me understand how there wasn't a team that was able to money with this dude in the portal and I else style and get him in their backfield. Why is he running for Boise State right now? I don't know, but I have his prop bets for this week's game versus Utah State. Oh, I'm not used to seeing some stuff like this. This dude and he's racking it up. He's almost got a thousand yards already. He missed the second half of one of their games because they were blowing out Portland State. So he hasn't even played every quarter, but he's dominating right now his rushing yards. His over under rushing yards for the game this weekend is set at 192 and a half. Wow. That's his rushing yards for the game, which I think he's hit what three times already this year. Yeah, I think if he's playing four quarters, you can expect him to be at 200 yards. That's really what his precedence been, except for the game where he only played the first half and he only had 127 yards. He was on pace, of course, for well over 200 yards that game. So I've never seen that before. He's also minus 3500 to get a touchdown. Wow. That means you would have to lay down $3,500 to see a hundred dollar profit for him like a bad bet to score a touchdown. I mean, to score three touchdowns, he, it's still the favorite at minus 155. He's favored to rush for three touchdowns in his upcoming game and the over under is 192 and a half for his rushing yards. This is, I've never seen this before for a player and I know he's, it's Boise State. I know they're playing Utah State. So it's, it's not like he's about to play out or something. Okay. What, have you watched him? Yes. So what are we talking about here? He's a combination of speed and power. Is it Derek Henry? He's Derek Henry. Yes. He is. I don't know how big he is, but he's strong as an ox because he's carrying breaks, tackles by six foot. So he's not quite as tall, but he's got the he's dragging, dragging defenders, five, six at a time, five, nine, two, 15 bowling ball style. Okay. Yeah. He's thick. He's running through folks. That's for danger. So Vegas is like, all right, we're going to have to put his, his props up there. He asked phenomenically high pushes props were back in at USC, like in his prime, when he was just doing crazy, six touchdowns a game, like, I mean, that's the only type of comms I can think of here, the props that could have gotten up that high. Yeah. I wish we, I wish there was some sort of record of it that we could take a look at because I've never seen anything like that, almost 200 yards there for, for rushing. The favorite is for him to get three touchdowns. Pretty amazing. We have, we have Missouri going to college station to take on the Aggies, of course, and well, Chuck's got a story about this coming up later on in the program. But there was another story involving A&M and Missouri. Bria Reed. She is the sister of the Aggies quarterback, Marcel Reed, who's probably going to be starting. And she is the assistant director of on campus recruiting at Missouri. Wow. So brothers quarterback of A&M, she works for Missouri and they are playing each other at this weekend. So Missouri's coach Eli Drinkwitz said on his SEC teleconference that she is not allowed to go to practice this week besides the first five periods due to a quote, conflict of interest. So she's only allowed to show for the first few periods of practice, whether or not doing anything that would reveal any sort of strategies. And then she's got to get off the field because she can't be trusted not to whisper something in brother's ear about the game plan. Why is she on the staff then? You didn't trust her. Why is she on the staff? Good point, Brian. Do you think it's a trusted? I think it's, I think it's, I think it's BS by the head coach. I think it's smart. It's a smart move. No, it's not. Don't put her in position. You eliminate her from the field. She's not even in position to be put in her brother or her family. They know the situation. She's not, they're not going to put her in harm's way. You know, she, she's done a damn good job. Missouri's talent has gotten better. You're going to tell me you wouldn't tell your brother? I would absolutely not. No, I told you this, my, my love for Ellis. Now that Texas is in the SEC, you know, the Texas and LSU, no, never going to pull for Texas and this stuff. Pull for my son. As you're wearing your burn on shirt, that's pretty. I love this shirt. I love this shirt. You are great. I love this shirt. I think, I think it's BS on his part. I think some family members would spill secrets though. I don't. Totally. Yes. You're not even putting her in that position now. But you don't need, okay. Then don't ask her. Don't, if you're a family, if you're a family member, don't ask her. Don't ask her any questions. You know, to me that, yes, but as the coach, you, you can't control the family member ethics. He doesn't trust her. He doesn't trust her. That's the problem. He just doesn't trust people. No, no, he doesn't trust her by not being on, let her be at practice. He doesn't trust her. That's bad. And she... I don't know that that's the case. Why does she not get to go to practice then? Because you're now avoiding her even being put in that scenario. And if her family puts her in that situation, shame on them. Yeah, I agree. Shame on them. I'm now taking the risk in eliminating it as a head coach. And that's my job to eliminate risks. He's a D-word. He's a D-word anyone. This sounds personal, Brian. It is. It is personal. Hey, guy, hey, guy. No, he's, he does, he, he's screw him, really screw him. Because that girl busts her ass for him and recruiting and stuff like that. And you don't trust her? This is a type of person he is. So no. I'm not. I hope A&M just boat races them. Maybe they will. I hope so. You had a couple go-arounds with Mr. Berkowitz. No. And we're all good. We're good. Sounds like you'd like to. I just don't believe this to you. I just don't feel like that that, like I said, that she's, Missouri's talent has gotten better. And she's part of that. You know. She spearheaded the whole thing, right? You trust her, you trust her to get, you trust her to get players there. You know? You trust her in a lot of other ways. You don't trust her to watch practice? Come on. You're an idiot. 240 sound off winner, Brian Broadus. I don't know. I really like winning in sports. And the second best thing to winning in sports is having a family member winning in sports. You know, I think I might tell, sorry, Brian, I think I might tell. I think you got to play it safe on this one. I think I might have a little fight going on. You guys, if you were putting that situation, you would ask a brother or ask a sibling about the game. I would not ask. You would ask? No, he wouldn't have. My brother wouldn't have to ask. I delivered the goods for him. Wow. No, I'm not a family. Hey, is it, is it football family? Is it faith family football or is it faith football family? You know what I mean? There's a lot of families that have been put in the situation. You don't ask. You just don't ask. You go play the game. You go play the game and you hope that that both that that both have success at it. Yeah. No, I hear you pull for everyone and beating your sibling is sometimes good. So you might be super competitive about it. I just, as a coach, you don't know, you don't know what kind of and I think that's really all jerk. You're just eliminating any potential risk.
