Diane Gopher Turner, 77 of Martinsville, died October 2. Graveside Services are today at 1 at Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery. She was born in Leaksville and was a pianist for many years at Gospel Tabernacle, where her father served as pastor. The family owned and operated Turner ceramic shop for over 20 years. She also worked as a seamstress and sower in the decorative bedding department at Philcrest Mills, and briefly worked at Seal Test. Surviving her husband of 57 years, Frederick Lancaster Turner, daughter Karen Turner, Altman, son-in-law Richard, son Paul M. Turner, and daughter-in-law Amanda, and five grandchildren.
