I'm your pocket fillers, the parlay killer, the north side thriller, start the broadcast. Subscribe with smash, the Gorilla sports podcast. Hey guys, welcome in Gorilla sports podcast. I'm your host, Alex Volpin, and it is Sunday, October the 6th. Let's get into some football today. Now I've got five plays that I like so far, and I'm kind of recording this on Friday night as I'm trying to get the plays out to you earlier. These numbers only go up, so I mostly bet overs. If you're taking any unders, you can wait for closer to kick off for those plays. But for me, I take mostly overs, so the quicker I can get them out to you, the better it is for everybody. So let's get into some plays. All right, our first play is we're going to take Josh Jacobs and we're going to take him over 62 and a half Russian yards. I got that on Fandul. You should still be able to get it right now or close in and around too. Now, I think we're getting a discount on this price. His last time out, he rushed nine times for 51 yards, but Green Bay was down 28 nothing to Minnesota, so there wasn't a lot of opportunities. And now they're going versus an LA Rams team where I don't think LA is going to have a four touchdown lead where they're not going to be able to lead on the running game against this awful Rams defense. Now, if anything, they should actually be playing from ahead. Now, this Rams defense is not very good. They are dead last to rushing yards to the running back position. They let David Montgomery go for 99, excuse me, 91 James Connor for 122, Mason went for 77. And then last week, DeAndre Swift finally got off the snide and went for 93 yards against this same defense. Love that. Now, he's only kind of had one game where he's had Jordan love with him where he wasn't a four touchdown deficit trying to catch up and he rushed 16 for 84 yards, which is perfect. That was against the Eagles in week one. But if they need to lean on them week two, he rushed 32 times for 151 yards. So I like the discount on this. Give me Josh Jacobs over 62 and a half rushing yards. Our next play is we're going to take Jerry Judy and we're going to take him over 42 and a half receiving yards. Now, he averages 49.3 receiving yards a game, Washington gives up the six most receptions in the fifth most receiving yards to the wide receiver position. Now, I think Watson really likes him because Jerry Judy last year was one of the best at separation. He separates from his defensive back really well and Amari Cooper is the opposite. He is the third lowest separation this year in 2024 versus his defensive back. So with the offensive line as bad as it is in Cleveland, I really think to Sean Watson has to look up for his first read. And when he sees daylight between Jerry Judy and his defender or Amari Cooper's got the guy blanketed on top of him, he's going to go to Jerry Judy every time. So don't get me wrong. I like Amari Cooper in this, I like Amari Cooper in this matchup as well. But Jerry Judy at 42 and a half, I think there's a nice discount there. Give me Jerry Judy over 42 and a half receiving yards. Our next play is we're going to go right back to DK Metcalf. Now we've been riding him two weeks in a row and he hasn't let us down. He has three triple digit games in a row, 129 yards, 104 yards and 104 yards. Love it. Now they're going versus the Giants, they are nothing to be scared of. Now they've got Deontay Banks who kind of does a lot of the shadow coverage on the outside wide receiver, which is actually not bad for a CD land, just took him for 98 yards. The game before Amari Cooper had his best game with 86 yards and two touchdowns. So I like this look in DK Metcalf over 63 and a half receiving yards. My next play is I'm going to take Eric all. This is the tight end of the Cincinnati Bengals and we're going to take him over 19 and a half receiving yards. I found this at FanDuel. Now DraftKings hasn't posted one for him yet. I'm not sure why. They might just be kind of seeing where the market goes with this kid, but he has covered this line in three straight games. He's got four catches in three straight games. And they love him. I think he's taken over the job for Mike Issicki, Zach Taylor in his last press conference said, you can put a lot on Eric All's plate and he keeps answering the bell. So you got to keep going to him. Love here in that. And if all that wasn't enough, Baltimore gives up the second most receiving yards to the tight end position. Perfect. Dalton King Cade went five for 47, Ferguson went six for 95 and Brock Bowers went nine for 98. Perfect. Eric, all over 19 and a half receiving yards. I also don't mind at two and a half catches at plus 108. Also on FanDuel like that one as well. My last official play is I'm going to take Brian Thomas, Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars over 51 and a half receiving yards. I like this. Look, he's averaging 69 yards a game. He's got 87, 94, 48 and 86, so he's just sailing over that 51 number. He's had nine targets and back to back games. He's a rookie and he's just kind of getting used to the quarterbacks and in Jacksonville. And the beauty thing is the Colts allowed the eighth most receiving yards and the third most receptions to the wide receiver position. Beautiful. Give me Brian Thomas all day long. Now there's three more plays that I've been kind of looking for as well. They haven't posted anything for John Jennings. Now I'm really looking to take him over his receiving props. Now the books can't adjust to this guy enough. The genie is out of the bottle. This guy is too good not to be on the field as much as he is. Now he's led the team in targets and receiving yards the last two weeks. He had 88 versus New England and he had 175 versus the Rams. Love that. He's got a huge connection with Brock Purdy and there's just no way that they can't keep giving it to him. And Arizona gives up the ninth most receiving yards to the wide receiver position. His number hasn't come out yet, but it's going to be somewhere in the 30s and I can't wait to smash that one. So that hasn't come out yet and another one I'm waiting to see is if Flacko plays, if Joe Flacko the quarterback, well the backup quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, in which case I'll be taking Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs both over their receiving prop total. Jags give up the third most receiving yards to the wide receiver position. There looks like it's going to be no Jonathan Taylor. And I just think Flacko is just going to be chucking it all over the field. So if they do say that Joe Flacko is starting, I'll be taking bets on Pittman and Downs. I also like Joanne Jennings, but we also have our five official plays. I love it. Big week for us guys. If you're rocking with me, let's roll.
