Mookie, this is not nom, this is bowling, they're a rule. Ten-ten-ten-eight, Jr. America! Stake. FOUR BASTEST! So stand by! Alright everybody, welcome back to the Steak for Breakfast Podcast. I'm Roan, I've got Noah here with me. Yo. If you're a first-time listener welcome to the show, if you're a long-time listener welcome back to America's Fastest Growing. And quickly becoming favorite political podcast. If you're here in this episode for the first time today, that's alright. We'll see you in a little bit. Just press pause, go check out episode 466. That was our first edition of Two that we're dealing here on Friday. And that featured Georgia Congressman Mike Collins and also Virginia Congressman Ben Klein. We talked about how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' Hurricane Helene Response is the actual disaster and did our complete breakdown and recap of the 2024 Vice Presidential debate which happened earlier this week. We're going to be jumping into a Trump rally happening yesterday out in Saginaw, Michigan battleground state. Huge crowd, very energetic and electric. Noah, as you see Donald Trump on the ground in the hurricane-affected areas today, both in Georgia and North Carolina while JD Vance and he crisscrossed on the campaign trail. What do you think the overt optics are looking for in regards to Donald Trump and how he's been there for the American people, much like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden haven't? What? How the black and white differences are? Do you want me to expound further? How dare you? Yeah, dive into this a little bit. I mean, you know, this again, these are battleground states, but then you have to take into consideration. What about all these areas that were wiped out? How is the states going to facilitate voting with? I was thinking that I was actually thinking that myself. Yeah, it's very interesting. I mean, what do you think? Is it going to be something that's going to be a problem? Are these people going to be able to vote out of area? Well, it's going to be a huge problem because they're not going to go through. Like, let's say, for instance, California got hit with the tidal wave. They would instantly set up something that would help Californians be able to vote because, like we all know, most of the rich Democrats, they all live in the beach areas of California, which, you know, if you're going to listen to climate change, probably not the best place to be living, but sure isn't. I don't make the rules. But in this area, which is generally speaking, majority-red voters, maybe so much, a lot of these people probably don't vote in general, but maybe would have this year for sure. I'm not saying that harp energy or weather modifications attack these specific areas. Well, these people are in, I'm making a joke, but these people are in a hurricane window, but there will be no steps made and no bending over backwards to help these people vote. Completely agree with you, although it's yet to be seen. I'm sure Donald Trump and JD Vance as well as the leadership at the RNC will be making points of it. I did touch on it in our first edition of the show today. I said I was going to circle back to it, so I want everyone who's listening right now to listen to these critically important voter registration deadlines coming up in the battleground states. Arizona October 7th, so just a few days before. It's also the same for Georgia. If you're in North Carolina, you'll have until October 11th to register, Wisconsin October 17th. Pennsylvania will be on the 21st, Michigan the 21st as well, and then Nevada will be October 23rd. So if you're not registering, verify your registration, because there's nothing worse than the slide of hand that they pull when you show up to vote, and either A, you've already voted or B, you're not registered because you've automatically been unfollowed like on stake for breakfast. Yeah, it's the truth. And you know, listen, Donald Trump, JD Vance, the entire campaign, the RNC, everyone's working hard to chase ballots, to get these registrations locked in, to make sure you're getting people and to vote for Donald Trump in addition to yourself. But also, check on the status of your ballot if you're casting it early. You know, it's the only way you're going to be able to see if your vote's going to be counted. Make sure, number one, it's registered for the right party. And number two, that it's been electronically tabulated if you've decided to partake in early voting, as is being encouraged right now. So we've got a great second edition today. Like I said, we're going to be covering and recapping Donald Trump's rally yesterday in Saginaw, Michigan. We're going to be joined at the end of this segment by the newly appointed head of the House Freedom Caucus. That'll make three consecutive House Freedom Caucus Chairman who now regularly frequent stake for breakfast. And that's going to be Dr. Andy Harris, the Congressman from Maryland One. And we'll wrap up today's in this week's Friday edition of stake for breakfast with the President of the Conservative Caucus and former Chief of Staff of Capitol Hill, a man who knows all the ins and outs about combating the swamp. And that's Mr. Jim Paff. So we'll take a look at some of the headlines that's going on today in our second new segment as well. A little bit of a waltz-vance recap from the debate, how they kind of saw it shake out. And then again, the Doc Workers and Longshoreman Union coming to a paused list, Chaney, out on the campaign trail yesterday with Kamala Harris, essentially confirming that the multiverse is real and anything that pops across the wire between now and the end of the show. Let's jump into the rally. Of course, where else would we start talking about what kind of is the centerpiece of the news cycle right now? And that's Donald Trump slamming Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for their lack of response following Hurricane Helene. Let's hear it. If you want to see how sick and distorted Kamala Harris's priorities are, just consider FEMA. F-E-M-A. You know what that is, right? Maybe you've heard of it. The federal emergency management agency, and you read it about now all the time because there's nobody that's handled a hurricane or storm worse than what they're doing right now. Kamala spent all her FEMA money, billions of dollars on housing for illegal migrants, many of whom should not be in our country, including one billion for gift cards for illegal aliens and putting them up in luxury hotels with a gift card, with a gift card to welcome them to America as our veterans are sleeping on the sidewalks below those hotels and they're being walked into luxury hotel. Now we have a horrific disaster in North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Virginia. That's how big this hurricane was and the Harris Biden administration says they don't have any money, they've spent it all on, they spent all of their money to have almost no money because they spent it all on illegal migrants. How would you like to be a veteran and you've been sleeping opposite the entrance to a luxury hotel and illegal migrants come in and they're going up and occupying the hotel? That's what's happening. They stole the FEMA money just like they stole it from a bank so they could give it to their illegal immigrants that they want to have vote for them this season. You know, they're trying to get them on the voters, but we cannot let that happen. It's the truth. It was funny. He talked about how in one part of this rally, no, I thought it was the funniest part. I'm not sure if I have the clip, but he was talking about, you know, in the past life, Donald Trump was a building mogul and a businessman and he said he used to have to go and haggle with the banks to get loans to acquire buildings while Venezuelan gangs are using semi-automatic rifles to head into places like Aurora, Colorado and just seize them in a much more what he called expedited manner. He said he wished I'm actually watching this come across on News Nation right now, they're in the trend, they are agua. Now in Chicago scooping up job sites and kicking people out of, yeah, the residential abodes and you know, listen, what can I say? JD Vance said it on the campaign trail today. I want to remind everybody, we'll play the clip in our next new segment. During COVID, the federal government got Congress to approve $1,000 for every illegal in this country as part of COVID relief. That's more than 700. That's more than 700 of the people got in Maui, that's more than the 750, then they're getting in the States affected by Hurricane Helene right now as well. And you can't make this shit up. The illegals who were in this country got more during COVID in relief than the people who lost everything, including loved ones and all of their livelihoods over the course of the last week and a half. A little feel good story coming out of the hurricane affected zones. I saw that Elon Musk, I guess this happened about three or four days ago, they're making a system update to allow all star links in the affected areas to work regardless of payment. Yep. That's pretty fucking epic. Donald Trump paid homage to Elon Musk during this rally. I believe I have a couple of that pulled as well. You know Kamala Harris isn't prepared for anything, right? Not her debate, not for any kind of interviews. She can't talk without a teleprompter. All of her photo ops are staged, obviously we've seen it, whether it's her with the non-connected headphones on the plane with the blank piece of paper or walking past a crying black family who's consoling each other down on the ground in Georgia like she did yesterday. Believe it or not, well you guys probably believe it. No, I'm sure you'll be shocked. Kamala Harris skipped all her pre-Hurricane season briefings in intelligence reports with the federal government. Donald Trump was hammering this point home on the trail, you say that's here? On top of it all, we just learned that Kamala skipped out on all of her briefings to prepare for hurricanes. She never took a briefing. She wouldn't understand. I don't think she would understand if she did. It did. Think of this. For years I took the briefings. I mean, I was hoping it wouldn't happen, but you take briefings, you have to be prepared. She's totally unprepared. And he's unprepared. They're both unprepared mentally, but at least they could give it a shot. But Kamala could not be bothered by doing briefings and now we're paying a big price. They have no idea what the hell they're doing. We had the best four years with hurricanes. We took care of people and I was on the phone. I was screaming at people, they hate my guts to this day. They write books about me, I'm the worst human being they've ever, but they got the job done and they weren't even that good. She simply doesn't do the work to protect the American people. It's the truth and she's not willing to do the work. She hasn't done the work for the last four years. She didn't do the work as a United States senator. Obviously she did a little work out in San Francisco, but that only contributed to the destruction of the state out here and the city where she was represented. But when you look at the overall totality of circumstances of what's swirling around this non-response to just one of the worst disasters our country, I mean, because listen, when you talk about what happened in previous storms, Hurricane Maria, Hurricane Katrina, they were bad. But a lot of the disaster zone was kind of consolidated. You know, with Katrina, it was in portions of Texas and Louisiana, the same thing with Maria hitting the hardest in the Caribbean and parts of Florida. But when you look at this, and I mean, you're talking six, seven states where just portions of the state just don't exist anymore. Well, you look at the satellite imagery of the difference between lighting, the lights that you see from satellites. That picture gave me chills when I saw it come across my social media. It is just an entire swath of black. It's wild. And you just have to look at it in black and white. This response here is worse than what we saw during what was considered the biggest botched failure of, you know, hurricane relief in the history of our country. And that's what happened in the wake of Katrina. Let's hear President Trump weigh in on that. This is the worst response in the history of hurricanes. A certain president, I will not name him, destroyed his reputation with Katrina. And this is doing even worse, she's doing worse than he did. Vote for Trump, and we will take care of the American people first. We'll take care of everything. You know, one of the things I liked about this rally yesterday, and there were a lot of things, there was a large delegation of people right behind President Trump on the risers that were wearing Teamsters for Trump shirts. Finally, breaking those out after Kamala Harris received the non-endorsement from the International Labor Union just a few weeks ago. What do you think about that Noah? Yeah, but we don't have enough of those big organizations that go out and support President Trump overtly. And it was good to see them out in full force yesterday. And you know, when you talk about these tragedies and picking yourself up, it's all about, I mean, JD Vance has alluded to it on the trail, the heart of Appalachia. It's our resolve to be able to overcome these immense tragedies that our country faces sometimes. And you know, we've seen the worst of them. We've seen a lot of resolve to overcome these disasters without the help of the government. Yeah. And you know, we've seen them in instances like what's happening in the American Southeast right now. We've seen it in the fallout from the Afghanistan withdrawal. We've seen it to what's happened with U.S. and dual citizens in places like Israel. And then everyone who's been subjected to the migrant crime now coming to places like Chicago after we've seen so much of it in the border states and places like New York, Colorado, Ohio, et cetera, it's restoring hope in the American people. And you know, Donald Trump really doesn't like to fall back on those talking points that were used by people like Barack Obama. But where he was kind of a snake oil salesman, Donald Trump offers the real plausible alternatives for how shitty the last four years have been. Let's hear it. I'm outraged on behalf of every American family whose children have been murdered by a legal alien and horrible, horrible, savage migrants that Kamala brought into this country, Kamala's agenda is bringing death and despair to America. I will restore light, hope, and dignity back into Michigan and very quickly. Thank you. I will make America safe again. We will be safe again on day one of my administration, the invasion of illegal migrants, terrorists, drug dealers and murderers ends and on that same day, the largest deportation in our history begins. We have no choice. We have no choice. You know, no, something that was interesting. I pulled the clip for the next new segment. It's something that we've kind of argued over and discussed with a lot of guests, especially ones who worked in the prior administration. You've had some like members of Congress who don't think that Donald Trump would take it to the nth degree, but you had others like, let's just say Tom Holman, for example, the former acting ice director, who looks to at least move back into the same role in the next Trump administration, who says that we're going to have to go to war with the cartels to be able to win the war that we're losing down in the US, southern border, do you believe that? Yeah, but when he says war with the cartels, it's not so much that we're talking about drone strikes and things of that nature. We're talking about going to war with them financially where you attack the US based companies that are facilitating the money laundering. You attack the people who are physically taking drug proceeds south. You attack anybody who's involved in weapons trafficking to assist with their battles that they have going on and stuff like that. There's ways to do all this, but the government's too busy focused on newcomers. Good point. Doing things for the American people. Donald Trump may have opened up the doors to drone strikes following this rally yesterday. We're going to kind of break down what he said in our next new segment, but sticking in this thread right now and getting into the topic of illegal immigration, he was obviously going to hammer Kamala Harris and let the crowd know what four more years under an administration headed by her would look like, let's listen. As we bring back our jobs, we will also restore America's borders with four more years for Kamala. She will flood every Michigan small town in Midwestern city with illegal migrants from the most dangerous places on earth, and Michigan will not be at Michigan any longer. Would you like to have a couple of million migrants living in your wonderful stuff, migrants? She has led in 21 million people during her three and a half years from prisons and jails, from mental institutions and insane asylums, terrorists at record levels, terrorists. I used to have very strong watch with terror watch. People said, "That's not nice." I said, "It's very nice. It's cold. Intelligent. We had a terror watch." In 2019, Border Patrol said we had none. I don't believe that. I think they have to have some, but they actually have us down for zero. The following year, they had us down for 11. We have thousands of terrorists now coming in from Yemen, from all over the world. They're coming in, not just South America. They're coming in from all over the world. They wanted to close the border. All the president has to do is say, "Close the border. I'm the president. Close that border." That's what I did. And the border was closed. I wonder how close the border is going to be on day one of the next Trump administration. I mean, it was closed where he said, like, no terrorists were coming in. All immigration was funneled into the ports of entry, and in a lot of instances, people were immediately getting removed and sent back to their country of origin. But I think that the border being closed this time, I think he's going to have to send a really big message to Mexico. I mean, Noah, did you see that the new president of Mexico was sworn in this week? Yeah, she seems like a gem. Yeah. In her inaugural statement, she led in with nothing about the corruption and cartel activity in her country and how poor Mexico is. Well, you don't want to call out your bosses. And immediately segued to demanding that the nation of Spain formally apologize and pay reparations for what they did to Mexico back in the 1800s. Can I make this shit up? Really? Yeah. It's a bold move. Certainly is. It's not going to work well for it. Listen, Mexico's well on its way to being the next Venezuela. You'll be seeing all of the cartels moving into different countries within Latin America, I believe, over the next decade, if we can't in some way, shape, or form. Now they're not going to move anywhere. They're just going to take over the cheap failed state of Mexico. Failed, or God forbid you don't live in Florida, you're your best client. Yeah. It's the truth. See how many more people come claiming asylum than good thing, at least for the next four years. There's a big potentiality that they won't be getting in. You know, Donald Trump has passed because the media has been pearl clutching and outraged ever since he brought up the now TikTok sensation of they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats, and what's going on with the Haitian refugees and legal aliens up in places like Springfield, Ohio. You know, whether or not the truth levels and where they lie, there is some context there that communities are changed forever by what the unmitigated dumping of illegals into these small communities have done. And to see the media push back on Donald Trump and his debate, obviously J.D. Vance as well in the vice presidential debate earlier this week, you can make an argument for it that he might be a little out of context, but it's the broader stroke and what's really going on. He's now saying it's over 21 million people that should have the people of this country actually outraged. Let's hear it. The corrupt media is outraged that I keep talking about the migrant crime epidemic. Well, I'm outraged that Kamala Harris keeps importing migrant criminals. These are among the worst criminals in the world. Remember when she said, "No, no, no, migrants don't cause any crime." And I said, "Wow, they're pretty rough-looking people to me. They're pretty rough-looking people to me." And it turned out to be, I was right, this was two years ago, they said, "No, migrants don't, that our people are much more dangerous." No, no, it's not that way. It's the opposite. It's the absolute opposite. I'm outraged that according to new statistics, 13,099 convicted illegal alien murderers have been set loose into the USA. Be careful. I'm outraged that Kamala Harris freed two illegal alien thugs who assaulted Kidnapped and murdered a 12-year-old girl named Jocelyn. You know Jocelyn. I'm outraged that Kamala released into America the predator, the animal who murdered Lakein Riley. I'm outraged she led into savages who raped and murdered Rachel Morin. I'm outraged on behalf of every American family whose children have been murdered by a legal alien and horrible, horrible, savage migrants that Kamala brought into this country. Kamala's agenda is bringing death and despair to America. I will restore light, hope, and dignity back into Michigan and very quickly. You talk about those instances that have been, or that have made national headlines, no, it hits home. I just don't understand how a convicted murderer can be released in the United States, how on any level that's okay. Like I would understand like maybe they made a mistake and a couple got through, but that's a lot. Yeah. Well, when the head of the agency overseas the border, Alejandro Mayorkas deemed detention and deportations immoral. What else is there to say? They hired the right ass at to do the job and he's done it. I really do hope in a future Trump Vance administration that every single aspect of these people's lives are publicly deconstructed. I'm talking about people like Merrick Garland. I'm talking about people like Alejandro Mayorkas starting off with finances and going back to all of their backers and ties because the complicity level of what's been going on in this country and how they've so elegantly facilitated it over the course of the last four years is like nothing we've ever seen. It's like we've talked about for so long. Noah touched on it in our first episode of the podcast today. There is only one reasonable deduction to make about why you just wouldn't care who's coming in here. It's to create a place card that replaces an American citizen who is a potential voter for the other side. That's literally it. Listen ends there but the trillions of dollars that will eventually cost to not only have to continue to facilitate this disaster, not in the context of Hurricane Helene but what that's gone with unmitigated illegal aliens pouring into this country for the last now nearly four years in addition to what it's going to take to stop them and remove them from the country. No, we didn't get to touch on it because you weren't here the other day but Donald Trump alluded to a purge like a real one. He said the start of getting the first million out is going to be the toughest thing that his administration has to do as part of their day one agenda. However, he thinks with, and this is what he said, one real hour of policing they can get off on the best foot possible what do you think? Perfect. I wonder what real policing looks like but I'm here for it. Going back to the auto industry is something that Donald Trump is here for as well. We've heard an extent, you know, the taxes and tariffs that are looking to come on companies who are looking to move their manufacturing plants to places like Mexico, the encouragement level. Donald Trump is extending to other countries who build foreign vehicles to build factories here that would hire and be staffed with American workers to make their products and receive big tax breaks. It's critical in the blue wall and in the Rust Belt and in places like Michigan and of course he was going to touch on it. We're going to take back our auto industry from Michigan and you know I call, it's supposed to be the car capital of the world, I call it the lack of car capital of the world because when it was called the car capital of the world it was many years ago, it's the lack of car capital but we're going to make it again to car capital of the world, we're not going to let him steal your business and it'll end up being bigger and better and more beautiful and more important than it was at its height and that was a long time ago, you're going to have a lot of companies move. Right now China is building a major auto plant in Mexico, actually two of them, among the biggest in the world and they think they're going to sell their cars into the United States and destroy Michigan and South Carolina and other places that make cars not going to happen and you know why it's not because I will put 100% tariff on every car and it's going to make it impossible to sell their car here and I'll tell them that the only way that they're going to get rid of that tariff and it's the only way, it's the only way is if they build the plant, not in Mexico but in the United States and our people operate the plant, okay? It's going to be huge, listen you're not going to get everything and reap all of the rewards that eventually could come from the start of these policies but whoever follows President Trump into the White House in 2028 would continue them and the seed that they're working for the American people, we could sow the seeds to bringing America back to a golden age like we've never seen before because it would be in modern day where we see other countries, you know, thriving at the behest of our failed trade policies, we could really bring it back to make it work for the American people. I just want to get back to the late 80s, early 90s, Noah, I was talking about it the other day with a couple of people, I mean it was just the golden era of this country, modern day, everything, I mean music was a little weird but we had some really good rock right during that time but I mean you're talking about television, wholesome, movies, wholesome, there was clearly defined good versus evil, it was at the peak and then the downslope of the Cold War and what we saw, you know, once we got to like the mid 90s all the way up through now, it's been absolute garbage, trash, trash, you see Bill Murray came out for Donald Trump this week, nobody steps on the church in his hometown and nobody tells him who to vote for for president, he thinks and his angle was a vote for Donald Trump is a vote against the swamp, he doesn't like the swamp, he might not particularly be the biggest fan of Donald Trump, but at the end of the day he sees what's going on and doesn't like it and he feels like nobody should try to persuade him or try to cancel him, I mean he is how he would royalty now, yeah, at this point, such a marvelous actor, one of my favorites growing up, he's right up there with like you know Harrison Ford and Michael J Fox and all the ones who you know filled up our TVs for so many years and movie theaters but it's going to be hilarious to watch people just unravel because the amount of people on the left that love Bill Murray too, it's like having Santa Claus die in front of you for some of these people, yeah, especially in a liberal place like San Diego where he does have one of his residencies here, speaking of people dropping dead right in front of me, Joe Biden got wheeled out, he's actually speaking at the White House press pool right now talking about the big win that his administration accomplished by manipulating the labor unions to open the ports ahead of the November elections, I'm sure he'll be on a helicopter and then playing up to Delaware shortly after this speaking engagement ends, if anything is relevant, it's actually been a couple minutes now, he's reading off of a paper, not a teleprompter because he's in the White House press pool, but yeah, we'll see what that is all about maybe pull a clip for our next segment, you know, and then there's the other side of the coin though, when you're talking about reinvigorating the auto manufacturing industry, closing the border and getting the economy fixed, it's if you want your incomes to plummet, if you like to see your 401ks and life savings evaporate, if you want to continue to get taxed into oblivion and see energy costs go up through the roof until essentially doing anything is not going to be a go anymore and that's, well, you could always vote for Kamal Harris, he is going to sarcastically move into that narrative as well, let's hear it. Want your incomes to plummet, your net worth to collapse, your tax bills to soar, your jobs to disappear, then vote for lion, Kamala to be the tax queen, to be your president because if you want to do all those things where your country goes to hell, where your country ends up in a 1929 style depression, then vote for Kamala. Frankly, I think it's going to be worse because we'll all be able to watch it this time we live in a digital age and again, all of this stuff that he's saying is going to happen, there will be no more manufacturing here, the economy will continue to spiral out of control, they don't care, they don't care and that's the biggest component. For all the things they say they're going to fix on day one of their administration next year, they've ruined for the last four years and for 12 out of the last 16. So for that many people to still be buying into the narrative that they are going to get it right this time, you need to have your head examined. Speaking of which, we'll be jumping into an interview with the newly appointed House Freedom Caucus chairman, Dr. Andy Harris, the congressman from Maryland in just a bit. Noah touched on it and brought it up. I found the clip where Donald Trump showered praises on Elon Musk. Noah, what do you think about Elon Musk joining Donald Trump in Butler this week as he announced late last night on social media that he will be in there to support the president as he is looking to make America great again and finish the rally that he wasn't able to complete back on July 13th? I mean, Elon Musk has been not really slowly leaning towards Trump. He's been there for a while, but having such an iconic American figure as Elon Musk show up in person, that's pretty ecstatic for Donald Trump though. And we've also able to debunk the fact that Joe Biden claimed responsibility for getting the star links up in these hurricane affected states over the course of this week. It was actually a phone call that Donald Trump made early this week to the on Musk where all of the star links were donated and like Noah had touched on briefly in our first podcast, the charges are being dropped for the people who need it right now in the most heavily affected areas. He gave him a little bit of praise and thanks during the rally. Let's check it out. And you know, while I'm on the subject of smart people, I want to thank Elon Musk. He endorsed me more importantly. He endorsed me strongly. So you better vote for Trump if you want to save your country. And he's a smart cookie, but he did something else. I was in Georgia the other day and after the floods and they were having tremendous problems in particular in North Carolina. You can't even get in. They were wiped out. They had no communication whatsoever. And they said, Do you know somebody named Elon Musk? I said, I happened to know him. He just endorsed me. They said, is there any way he does a product star link? Did anyone ever hear a star link? Maybe you've heard of it. It's another one of his genius products at history. You're still actually. And they said, is there any because North Carolina in particular has absolutely no communication. We can't communicate. You can't get there. You just can't talk. And many people are missing. You know, it's really bad. It's really, really bad. Many people are missing. And our federal government is doing so badly. So I said, Elon, can you do us a favor? Can you take care of his? He had within 45 minutes planes and helicopters loaded up with this equipment. And they were having perfect communication within less than 24 hours. It was unbelievable. And I said to the person that got me, and it made the request, who's over there, really suffering to, I said, well, what's the difference between that and what they had with the hard wire? They said, actually, the hard wire is not as good. Think of that. So this man, and he also said, just take it. You'll pay if you can. I mean, people are getting these expensive systems from him. And we really owe him a debt of gratitude. Elon Musk. Not a lot of people would have done that. Most people could not have acted that fast. See that he got it right away. They were starting to load, I think, before the phone conversation ended. It's wild. We're building a team, and there was an idea. When you talk about taking out the comedic aspect of it, and how critical it is to set up communications that are reliable in the wake of such a tragedy, unparalleled response from Donald Trump and Elon Musk. And it's great to see that they're collaborating together even more so. Listen, Elon Musk is now saying that he's going to be present in a couple of battleground states, especially Pennsylvania. I heard his pack is bringing in tons of money that's being used for ads and to keep these offices and battleground states staffed. Elon Musk has even had a couple borderline doomer posts recently, like democracy ends if Kamala Harris wins and things of that nature, in addition to sharing some fire memes. But he gets it. And I think he knows the party's over for him. Taking out of the conversation the fact that he won't be going to the moon, Mars, which he wants to go to in the next half decade, is something that he'll probably never be able to attain under Kamala Harris administration, especially for the fact. I don't think a lot of people realize this. Freelon Musk able to do what he does in the space context. He has to have some of the highest security clearances in the country, which means he's privy to accesses and information that even some high ranking military officials aren't when it comes to all things regarding space. And you know, they've sued him in certain contexts, but what would really kill his industry in regards to space exploration and innovation would be to pull his security clearances because he would lose the ability to do all the things he does now. And I think what the way social media has been targeted over the course of the last couple of years, especially coming out of the pandemic and through the beginning of Joe Biden's administration to what's going on with Kamala Harris now, that would probably be the next step. Don't you think Noah? Yeah, that's the only way to throw more of a roadblock in. And it's not like NASA's doing anything for us. I mean, without Elon Musk, those astronauts that are stuck up there either would have been there for an extended amount of time or essentially would have been left to die. I don't really know the entire gravity of the situation, but it did seem bleak, you know, when NASA failed. Huh? Is that a pun? Yeah. Oh, when NASA failed, when they were supposed to come back, like in July, they said, oh, yeah, we're just going to leave them up there until February, Elon Musk said, absolutely not. And he imagine, can you imagine? In space up there for a couple of weeks. Oh, now it's a couple months. Well, now you well, whoever dies first, just eat them. I can't hear you. You're breaking up. You're still alive. No, Elon Musk said absolutely not. And the vessel that will eventually bring them home did touch with them earlier this week. So, you know, again, this guy is absolutely killing it, much like Donald Trump did in his role as, I guess, the general manager of MAGA and his selection of JD Vance as his number one draft pick to be the vice presidential nominee. He touched on that during this rally as well. Let's hear it. How good did JD Vance do the other night? (audience cheering) Didn't you do that? - I don't know if you want to watch that debate, it's not bad or amazing. - Mm-hmm. (audience chanting) - I drafted the best athlete. You know, Vince Lombardi, you're saying, go for the best athlete. But I had 12 people that would have been fantastic, but JD did a fantastic job at the debate. - Yeah, a lot of people are saying that he's planting the roots right now to be the MAGA successor. There is a lot of work to be done, and there is a lot of time between now and when we have to make that decision. But I would have to say in my opinion, he's done a really good job of at least planting the seeds and reassuring a lot of the people, especially the harshest critics from within the party, and in the MAGA orbit that JD Vance was the correct man for the job, even outside of the narrative on this show, where we could have seen it go a couple different directions and would have been completely fine with it. I feel comfortable in saying now that I think he is the man for the hour. Much like Kamala Harris isn't the woman who ever worked at McDonald's, and I know it's kind of a beat-talking point, but Donald Trump is gonna keep hammering at home. I still think he is going to show up at a McDonald's between now and election day, and probably toss some fries. He was hitting Kamala Harris on this up in Michigan yesterday, that's here. He worked at McDonald's, I watched her being interviewed. People were crying, it was so sad. Yes, I grew up working at McDonald's over the French fry counter. - The horror. - She never worked, there was a lie. She's lying, Kamala. She never worked there. Somebody went, some good reporter back there actually, they didn't wanna actually report this story, but we found out about it, 'cause they don't like to, but you don't hear that much about it. You know what's beautiful about that one? It's so simple. It's not like complex. We don't have to go through the history of it. She said, I worked at McDonald's, it was a tough job. She said she worked over the French fries, like, you know, it's probably not so nice if it's 200 degrees out, right? Probably not so nice. It turned out to be a lie, it's all a big lie. She's not qualified to be the president. - Because all she does is lie about everything. You know, now there's some reports coming out that family members are reaching out to the media, and it's kind of being buried, that Kamala Harris' grandma, or who they say her grandma was, was fake, and that Kamala Harris' grandma was actually white. The person who she's taken all these pictures with from back in the day, when she's like, you know, a toddler and a little bit older, the woman who supposedly passed when she was like around five years old, was their fucking housekeeper. Think it's gonna be reported anywhere, Noah? - Absolutely not. - No, how dare us, racist that we are. Yeah, so, I mean, again, laying it out for the people of Michigan, making the case in the battleground state, and wanting to return to American greatness, or as he puts it, a golden era. It's Alaska I've got before the closeout, let's hear it. - Nation that dreams big again, we can be a nation that builds things again, we can reclaim our pride, our dignity, our glorious American destiny. (audience cheering) But only if we make a clean break from the failures of the past four years, they've been the worst four years. When you add everything up, the inflation, the lack of respect, the Afghanistan disaster, which was the most embarrassing period of time in our history, where we were just humiliated, and you added all up, and all we're gonna do is a very simple thing, we're gonna make our country so incredible and so fast. You only have one thing to do on November 5th, we're gonna vote for a person named Donna J. Trump, have you ever heard of him? (audience cheering) - He said it. (audience cheering) - I think, nice hat. - I like him nice hat. Perfect. And again, I see Trump Force One is wheels down in Augusta, Georgia, and an area that was hit pretty hard by Hurricane Helene, and the rest of the Trump team has disembarked, and Donald Trump is now on the tarmac, waving to the press and getting into the vehicle that's gonna be taking him to a dual speaking event with Brian Kemp today. Very big for the American First Movement. Alaska, by God, of course, is part of the closeout, so let's all sit back, relax, and enjoy, and see how fast Donald Trump could say all the things he wants to make really getting as he's kind of done in the last couple of weeks out on the campaign trail, let's listen. - Remember, early voting is beginning, and just a couple of days, you must get out, and you must vote. We wanna landslide, that's too big to rig. (audience cheering) On November 5th, we will save our economy. We will rescue our middle class, we will reclaim our sovereignty, we are gonna reclaim our sovereignty, and we're gonna restore our borders once and for all. We will put, always, we will put America first. (audience cheering) And we will take back our country. Together we will make America powerful again, wealthy again, healthy again, strong again, proud again, safe again, and we will make America great again. We will make it so great. God bless you, Michigan, God bless you. (audience cheering) - No, do I even have to ask what you're rating this? - 10 out of 10. - Mm. Energetic crowd, strong messaging, new items to campaign on, or examples of how this government and this regime has failed you, how bad it would be in the next four years, and what Donald Trump is bringing to the table. I'm giving it a solid, solid 9.8, and we will continue to listen. My first 10 of the end of the campaign season might come following Donald Trump delivering remarks in Butler, Pennsylvania this weekend, but we'll have to see, and we'll leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in with Congressman Andy Harris, but before we do, let's check in with one of our partners. - This episode of the podcast is brought to you by Battleborn Coffee Roasters. He's the congressman who serves Maryland's first congressional district. He's also the recently appointed new chairman of the House Freedom Caucus. Welcome back, Dr. Andy Harris. Thanks for coming on the show. - Ah, good to be with you. - Always a pleasure to finally get to catch up with you after a while. Chairman, you've been busy, the world has been busy, and we're gonna talk about it today. So, listen, new House Freedom Caucus chairman. Congratulations on the appointment, obviously strong support within the caucus, and we just kinda wanna get your insight on, you know, it's been an up and down year. Lots of members of the caucus come through the show quite frequently, they talked about some of the growing pains, not just in the 118 session of Congress, but within the Freedom Caucus itself. It's been tough under Chuck Schumer in the Senate and Joe Biden in the White House to kinda get the America First Agenda passed, even though some great legislation has made it up to the upper chamber. And I just kinda wanna get your insight on now that you're the chairman, where you're looking at the direction of the caucuses, go and head it into the end of session, and maybe into the beginning of next one. - Well, the end of session, of course, we still have Joe Biden in the White House, still have Chuck Schumer calling the shots in the Senate, so I don't hold out high hopes for the end of the session. But, you know, I'm of the opinion, we should delay as much of what we normally would do in a lame duck session, just delay it into next year, when hopefully we have President Trump and someone other than Chuck Schumer, Republican as majority leader. - Yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense. You know, when you see the end of, the last time you guys were up on the Hill last Friday, coming with a continuing resolution that gets us into December, what are some of the things you guys are looking at now, heading into the end of the calendar year, and having to do something for budgetary-wise, getting the government kind of bandied it into the next session, or maybe even the next presidency of the United States. I know some people are already groaning overtly about the possibility of an omnibus. That would kind of handcuff you guys for an entire year. Are you looking more to have a continuing resolution that's gonna get us maybe into the first couple months in the 19th, 119th session of Congress? - Yeah, look, I think that, you know, if President Trump gets elected, and on the first day he says, "Look, just finish it up this year, guys. "You know, I don't want it in next year." Then we'll probably have to finish it this year. But I hope that we can hold to the spending levels of the FRA. So none of the side deals, you know, keep spending basically flat from last year, maybe a 1% increase. And then look forward to the President's, President Trump's administration. Now, if on the other hand, he says, "Hey, look, we can cut a better deal next year. "I don't mind kicking it into next year." Then, unless the speaker can get an incredibly good deal from the Democrats, and he might be able to under those circumstances, I don't know, we should just punt it into next year. - And then the punt also comes with the prospectus of the chance that you guys with the Trump winning the presidency in November, the possibility of passing some really strong legislation circling back to things like H.R.2 and revisiting that, amongst other things. Even H.R.1, the energy pact and the things that Donald Trump has talked about on the campaign trail is things you'd want as part of the very beginning of the next session of Congress to get up to the upper chambers as fast as possible, right? - Well, yeah, we could do that. We'll pass it up there. But honestly, Chuck Schumer is still probably going to be the minority leader, and he only has to round up 41 votes to stop anything. He probably will. So reconciliation then, and a lot of people don't understand reconciliation, but it's the budget mechanism by which we only need 51 votes in the Senate, then reconciliation becomes the deal of the day. We have to draft a broad reconciliation bill, deal with a lot of things, deal with the border, deal with energy, deal with Ukraine and foreign wars, deal with the administrative state. We have to deal with that through what do we call reconciliation bill, 'cause honestly, that's the way we got the tax cuts and job back through. That's the way you get through when you have only need a bare majority. So it's a different way of thinking about things, but yeah, we got to deal with the border. Even if Chuck Schumer obstructs H.R.2, we will have to deal with the border in a reconciliation bill. - Sure, and it's good that you could point that out. You know our listenership has a lot of questions, not just going into the election, but what happens after? And if President Trump wins, you guys can retain and extend the House majority, and then obviously flip the Senate, it's gonna look a whole lot differently heading into the holiday season than it did, or it does right now. So I wanna jump into a couple of the issues. Last night was the vice presidential debate. It's one of the things we recaped on our show today. We just finished up with the new segment now, Dr. Howers. And for those in America who maybe aren't familiar with JD Vance, I think they probably were reassured, especially on the conservative side of what exactly he brings to the table. We knew he was one of the strongest debaters having tracked him back to his Senate race back in 2022. I gave him the highest marks in regards to being able to handle his debate and when we graded him out in the midterm election cycle. But then for people who might not have known who Governor Tim Walts is outside of the, I guess, very small pieces of crumbs they're given to the media right now, there were probably a lot of people who were horrified. And I just wanna kind of get your commentary on how you thought the vice presidential debate went down and what it means for the Trump campaign and the race that they're running right now. - Look, I think what it did is it verified Mr. Trump's choice as vice president that JD Vance is a good choice. He is a smart guy. He understands the issues, didn't need notes. If you notice, he wasn't writing down notes feverishly. Tim Walts is writing down notes like, I'm sorry, Tim, you couldn't remember for the next 30 seconds. You got to write everything down. And then the faces he was making was just extraordinary. That's all I can tell you. Look, JD Vance looked like a serious vice president and a person who is ready to do the job, God forbid, he has to do the job. He looks like someone who could do the job. And I think for most Americans who weren't familiar with him, I think that should have been very reassuring last night. - Yeah, I think at the very least, when you look at someone who's gonna preside over the Senate, someone who is supposedly, the way it's written up constitutionally, a check-in balance to the president of the United States. And then like you had mentioned, God forbid, a heartbeat away from being the man. I think a lot of Americans, especially on the conservative side, maybe a lot of the independence that Donald Trump has brought in, which is where I wanna go next. You know, coming out of the Republican National Convention, I think Donald Trump had a pretty much galvanized base. You could probably count the predominant Republicans, I'm airquoting now, Republicans, who aren't behind Donald Trump in his campaign now coming out of the convention. And then he was able to widen the tent with publicly getting endorsements from people like Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr, et cetera. You know, for those who said that there have been missteps along the way, both in 2016 and 2020, to what Donald Trump was doing, and who he was trying to include, I think part of his RNC speech where he said he doesn't wanna run to be the president of the Republican party, he's running to be the president of all Americans, is continuing to be confirmed as he widens the tent and brings in Democrats and prominent independents along the way. And I kinda wanna get your commentary and how you see this race is being run. It seems like they're leaving no stone unturned. I mean, if you wanna segue after that into what's going on with the hurricane relief now, I mean, Donald Trump was down there. It's gonna be 48 hours before we see Joe Biden or Kamala Harris on the ground in the disaster zones in the affected areas. So just in the case of looking presidential, it looks like Donald Trump is checking all the boxes in this race. - Oh, he absolutely is. There's no question about it. It's reflected in the polls. You know, the other groups that you haven't mentioned yet is his inroads into the minority communities. The fact of the matter is, I think some of the Democrats have resigned themselves to the fact that he is likely to win the Hispanic vote in this country. And that means that the Democrats bets on allowing a lot of Hispanic immigrants into the country in order to gain electoral advantage might have been misplayed. His inroads into the African-American community. I mean, if you had told me five years ago that a Republican was polling in the high twenties with African-Americans, what planet are you from? Yeah, that's what Donald Trump is doing because what he realizes as Americans, we all think the same way. We want economic prosperity for our families. We want our families to live in a safe community. We want to be respected in the world. These are all the things that he, it doesn't make a difference. What ethnic group you're from. These are common American principles and Donald Trump has gone to them, gone back, and he keeps on going back. He keeps on reinforcing that he's the guy who will represent you in the White House. And you, it doesn't make a difference whether you're Black, you're White, you're Hispanic, what your religious prayer, he will represent you in the White House. And it is resounding. No, it certainly is. And then when you talk about not leaving anybody behind, I mean, he is doing physical reminders of what actually he's bringing on the campaign trail and what it might look like on the other side of election day as well. I mean, he's gonna be doing a lot of stumping obviously in the battleground states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia. But he's also held a press conference out in Southern California. He's held a rally out on Long Island in New York. He's done a big one down at the Jersey Shore in New Jersey. It's like he is really getting outside of the box traditionally and in this late in the race where historical Republican candidates wouldn't even worry about because they've already seated those electorates and votes to the Democrats. But it seems like wherever Donald Trump's going, it looks like he's gonna be back in Butler, Pennsylvania. This weekend, he's gonna do a rally in Virginia coming up here soon. It seems like he's just continuing to widen the tent and bring in as many people as he possibly can before. Election day and as early voting has already started. - I fully agree with you and you mentioned Virginia. Virginia's a great case. Most people have written off Virginia. He's within the margin of error. And of course, they elected Mr. Yunken, a great Republican governor in the state. It's not out of play. Virginia's not out of play. And let me tell you, when Virginia's not out of play, the Democrats are in real trouble in the electoral college. - You know, and I want to kind of stay into some of these national issues and what's being affected right now. There's a lot of attention focused in on the disaster after Hurricane Helene came through last week. And I mean, Dr. Harris, you know how it goes. Leaders lead and optics means a lot more than everything. So do promises made and promises kept. Donald Trump was on the ground in Georgia earlier this week. You know, Joe Biden had done some brief, pre-player statement earlier in the day on Monday, which said, he's not going down there now because his team had told them it would be a distraction. Kamala Harris had to get pulled from campaign and fundraising events out on the West Coast. And you know, head back over to FEMA headquarters to do again, just a few minutes talking about all the great job that FEMA's doing and then taking no questions before taking off. And I mean, they're eventually going to get there and get on the ground. But to see Donald Trump, when you talk about things like East Palestine, Ohio, when you talk about some of these migrant crimes and how they've led to deaths across the country and how Donald Trump has been there to support families, law enforcement officers who've been killed in line of duty and how Donald Trump is stepping in, even before state and local officials can, to console and be with the families here. It seems like he hasn't missed a step since he left the White House and he's already well-prepared and seems like in a game shape heading into the election cycle and what would be, hopefully, his next term in office starting in January. - That's right, you're absolutely right. You know, Joe Biden thought it was more important to be at Rehoboth over the weekend than to be in the disaster zone. The vice president thought it was much more important to fly to the West Coast to hold fundraisers and then have photos taken on the way back as she's getting briefed with an air air pod in that's not plugged into her phone and a blank sheet of paper that she's supposed to be writing, she's halfway down the page writing notes on it and it's blank. I mean, this is all for show. Donald Trump is all for the people and that's the difference and people understand it, they feel this. The vice president is a show pony and Donald Trump is a workhorse, that's the bottom line. And that's the distinction that's gonna lead to him winning on November 5th. - Sure, and as you are a congressman who sits in Maryland, it's definitely one of the big industrial hubs. It's got one of the biggest ports in America as well there. Congressman, you know, we've got the longshoremen and dock workers strike going on right now. They're fighting for some of the same benefits and higher pay as some of their counterparts on the West Coast are doing now. Listen, the economy is already in shambles when you talk about the prices of things that it just is needed to sustain your family, the cost of fuel, the cost of keeping a roof over your head and obviously putting food on the table. That's why the economy is issue number one. With the American voters, we're heading closer and closer to election day. But, you know, when you see the way that this strike has kind of rolled out and how the Biden administration has already taken a very partisan look into it, it seems like the people who would donate to future campaigns is where the Biden administration kind of wants to rally around instead of the people who are fighting for their rights and the Americans who are gonna eventually be affected by this. How do you see someone in the state where you might feel it a little bit more than most? Are you looking at this and what are some of the things you think that we need to do to get these sides of the table and collectively bargain their way out of the situation? - Well, look, the president has the authority to invoke the Taft Hartley Act. He should have done it. He should have, it's a 90 day cooling off period. Get people around the table. Look, I guess the president didn't want to do it because he doesn't want to appear anti-union in any way. So he doesn't want to interfere with a strike, but it's in the best interest of the American people to invoke Taft Hartley. Get those workers back to work and then intensively arbitrate between those two parties to see if they can resolve within 90 days. Instead, he just said, ah, it's a strike. Let me tell you some Americans know what happens when you disrupt the supply chain. They learned at first hand during COVID. This ain't gonna be pretty. If this goes into one or two weeks, it's not gonna be pretty. It's gonna result in shortage of items in stores and it's gonna result in higher prices. Not a good optic. Look, the president's been rocking a hard place. He obviously does not want to go against the unions, but he understands the political ramifications of the path he's taking. - Yeah, it's wild the way that this election cycle has got. You know, you would think most things are gonna get quiet and it seems like all the national issues continue to flare up almost on an hourly basis with the way the new cycle is. And then lastly, I kind of want to touch on two pronged question here. You know, we've got some of the wars that have started under Joe Biden. Obviously, what's going on with Israel, their continued response against Hamas after October 7th of last year. We're nearing the one year anniversary of that tragedy and terrorist attack. You have a second front that they've opened up against Lebanon and Hezbollah up in the north. And then you have the Iranian factor coming in with, again, the second largest attack only compared to the first attack that they had earlier this year on Israel. Things that in, I think other timelines, you might see spark not only a regional, but possibly a world war. In addition to that, we had the vice presidential debate last night, not one mention of the war in Ukraine, even though Vladimir Zelensky was here over the course of the last couple of weeks. He met with the president. He met with the vice president. He addressed the UN Security Council. And he left heading back to Eastern Europe with over 10 billion more dollars in American aid, funding and military equipment. Just some commentary on this administration's continued bumbling of their foreign affairs and how some of our longstanding allies or ability to negotiate peace in other regions are just at completely absent here and ahead of the presidential election, something that outside of border security in the economy, I think voters really need to focus on. - Well, look, the weakness of this administration on foreign policies is just unbelievable. And, you know, they touched on Israel and briefly in the debate. And Tim Walz was going to try to blame the president then, you know, J.D. Vance had to remind him, actually, there were no wars in, as J.D. Vance says, I'm 40 years old and those 40 years, only one president has not had a major conflict started under their term, and that was Donald Trump. The bottom line is that this administration projects weakness, and that's the Ukraine war as a direct result of that, and even the strikes yesterday are direct result of that. And then the example I give you, and again, J.D. Vance brought it up. We gave, we unlocked tens of billions of dollars to Iran. We have not enforced our oil sanctions on Iran. If this president was serious, what he would have done after that first barrage months ago are bomb the oil pipelines in Iran and told them that if they're not going to, you know, other countries are going to not abide by the sanctions, we're going to make sure that Iran cannot sell their oil because they're taking that oil money and they're supplying arms to Hamas and Hezbollah to radical Islamic terrorists throughout the world. We should, we are in a war against radical Islamic terrorism. We've been in that war since 9/11, and this president has completely forgotten that. - Yeah, and now it's one of our longstanding allies who we've kind of hung out to dry and publicly armchair corded back their response, and that's the nation of Israel that's been left to do a majority of the grunt work with just the kind of us optically given deterrence and the reason with our military might. But it leaves our servicemen and women at risk, something the Biden administration has been heavily criticized throughout the course of the entirety of their term already. And then Congressman, in closing here, you know, we've had a lot of lack of transparency when it comes to the investigations into the assassination attempt on President Trump's life. In the case of the Butler one, we still know very little about the situation itself, except for the massive failures in communication and security around the president. Obviously, we know a little bit more because of the public figure nature of the second assassination attempt down in West Palm Beach a couple of weeks ago. But when you see the way that the Secret Service of the Department of Homeland Security, obviously one of the House Republicans' favorite cabinet members, the already impeached Alejandro Mayorkas has kind of slow-walked the entirety of this, kind of running into an election and then going to have to see what happens. How frustrating it is to, I mean, your office, your constituents, the House Freedom Caucus, then the Republican Conference to not have answers on this and even see up through last weekend, Donald Trump had to change a venue location and size due to the fact that they didn't have adequate security to put around him always out on the campaign trail. - Look, it's ridiculous. I mean, this is not a, you know, $10 million outfit. This is a $3 billion a year enterprise. And if you ask most people, "Hey, what is Secret Service?" They're like, "Oh, we protect the president." Yeah, so you protect presidents, former presidents. Now, there are other functions the Secret Service does, but that is their prime function and they failed twice within several months. Miserably failed, objectively failed. They have failed leadership. The tops need to be cleaned out. Look, the agents on the street, the people who are willing to throw their bodies in front of a bullet for the president, they're doing their job. They're not getting the support from the top. That top has to be completely cleaned out. You know, in perfect government example, when the director resigned and the deputy director became directed, every single person in that protectorate unit got promoted. I mean, you're like, "I don't get it." You failed miserably. And in Washington, that doesn't get you fired. That gets you promoted. That, look, there are a lot of things we can get away with that, but when it's the life and death of the president, or in this case, the former president and the leading candidate for the presidential office, we cannot tolerate that. - No, you certainly can, and I'm glad you were able to confirm, screw up to move up is now confirmed here by Dr. Harris on Stake Records. Listen, Congressman, as always, it's great catching up with you. We know you've been busy. We're in the midst of you. I mean, you're running your own race. You guys are on and off the hill, getting the continuing resolution passed and obviously doing all the other things and vestigatively committee work and be able to come down and share with us for a little bit today on this Friday edition of the show. We really appreciate it. We've got your congressional website, live linked in the show description today. And anywhere on social media, we can find you or anything else you want live linked. Tell our listenership down, we'll do it as well. - Well, look, you can always go to AndyHarris.com. You can go to Harris.house.gov. I mean, those are our sites. And just make sure everybody who's listening got to get out and vote and bring 10 other people with you on election day. We've got to win these elections. - That's the winning equation right there. And we hit it with the Congressman who's representing Maryland's first congressional district. He's also now the House Freedom Caucus Chairman, Dr. Andy Harris. Thanks for joining us today, sir. Have a great weekend. Thank you. - I mean, what do you think are strongest in all the buzzies tonight? - I don't know if I, there's something like that. - Oh, it's just, I think it was a good debate but we got to see a contrast. And I think the ending comes up with the democracy issues in court. - Thank you. - The governor said you become friends with school leaders during the debate and you clarify what you meant on that. - Can you clarify what you meant when you said you'd be friends with school shooters? - All right, jump back into the news portion of the show here. Last news segment on the back end of two big Friday editions of the State for Records podcast. As always, and even though it's been a while, great catching up with the new chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, Dr. Andy Harris, the Congressman from Maryland. And as you just heard there, and unlike Dr. Harris who had plenty of answers for the questions we were asking, Tim Wallace did not, right after the debate, following his comments where he said he was friends with school shooters. Noah, what do you think? - About being friends with school shooters? - Yeah. (laughing) - Not so much. - Well, you know, there's always the cooling off period. And the next day, and at the next campaign stop, Tim Wallace- - I don't think the school shooters do the cooling off period. - Jazz hands over to the press gaggle. Did a couple of ballerina twists and twirls before taking some questions. And outside of how do you think you did during the debate and some of the modest commentary that you usually see following an event like that, the question did resurface. And without the use of a rangefinder, Governor Wallace had this to say about the commentary he made during the vice presidential debate. Let's hear it. - Do you wanna clarify the comments that you made about school shooters? - Yeah, and look, you've got to see me. These folks know me. I'm super passionate about this. The question come up out of school shooting, we're talking about everything except school shootings. And I sat as a member of Congress with the Sandy Hook parents, and it was a profound movement. David Hogg is a good friend of mine. You have seen me do this. I was talking about being people where there are school shooters. And I need to be more specific on that, but I am passionate about this. This one for my wife and I is just as- - You don't even get us. He's so personal. - He has to be talking. I'm talking about being people with school shooters. - Yeah. - Being friends with, I'm so confused, still. - It has to be talking about victims of school shootings. It has to be. You know, I can't learn two languages at once. It's taken me like the last two months to finally figure out what Kamala Harris is saying when she isn't giving answers. But when it comes to things like this, just listening to it twice there, I already have an eye headache. - I mean, it's not like he's got some tick where, you know, he gives himself away when he lies, because obviously he's very comfortable lying. - Sure. - And he's been recorded lying numerous times. - As most social paths are. - I just don't know how he can't get this one straight. - Yeah. - It's weird. - JD Vance out on the campaign trail in the day following the vice presidential debate, weighed in on his performance, and actually his feel bad level for Governor Walsh, because at the end of the day, look at the job he was tasked with doing, defending Kamala Harris. Let's hear it. - In this debate, and then I talked to the president afterwards, and we talked a little bit about, you know, what actually happened, and, you know, some of the points that I made, some of the points that Governor Walsh made, and he made this observation. He said that Tim Walsh said that he was friends with school shooters twice. And that's something I actually didn't notice that Tim Walsh had said that on the debate stage, and I said, did he really say that, sir? And he said, I'm telling you, man, go and watch the clips. He said he was friends with school shooters twice. And I said that was probably only the third or fourth dumbest comment Tim Walsh made that night then. Because look, I gotta be honest, I feel a little bad for Governor Walsh. And the reason I feel bad for him is because he has to defend the indefensible, and that is the record of Kamala Harris. - That's the truth. - I don't remember him saying it well, so. - It was twice in the same kind of statement. I'm sure both of the ladies looked at him with absolute amazement when it came out of his mouth the first time, and he's like, no, I'm serious. - I'm friends with these people. - Okay, I understand the second part. - Yeah. And again, we already played in our first new segment of the first podcast today when something like the vice presidential debate happens. How does the mainstream media rectify it? Jack Smith and Judge Chungus release more January 6th special counsel related material, which is blatant election interference. And when you can't recover from being out in front of the hurricane relief, like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris haven't been. Again, Governor Walsh hasn't been down there either. So JD Vance has made two trips down to the area. You have to manufacture other news items that are going to clog up the cycle and take away from the race that Donald Trump and JD Vance is running. This came out yesterday out of North Bergen, New Jersey, the International Longshoreman's Association and the United States Maritime Alliance have reached a tentative agreement on the wages and have agreed to extend the master contract until January 15th, 2025. How convenient to return to the bargaining table and to negotiate all the other outstanding issues. Effective immediately, all current job actions will cease and all work covered by the master contract will resume. Noah, that's good. Yeah, it is, but it also comes off as a minor win for the Biden administration, because Joe Biden was saying that the union bosses, I don't know if you saw the boss of the union who represents the longshoreman and dock workers. I saw a $900 million mansion. Yeah, and his Rolex watch and his Cartier glasses and his convertible Bentley. People wanna know where they're a miniscule salt of the earth, that guy. Right, wage increases are. They're buried in the foundation of his house. Like probably Jimmy Hoff had the old giant stadium. Didn't they turn down, they turned down a 50% raise and wanted a 70% raise? Yeah, yeah. They wanted the wages that were competitive with the people out on the West Coast, which after doing a little digging are considerably larger than those on the East. And remember, the dock workers and longshoremen on the East Coast have to deal with the four seasons where people out on the West Coast traditionally only have to do with two-ish? Yeah, so it makes sense to make them comparable pay, but I mean, when it's... I'm hesitant to say that I'm pro-all unions, 'cause there's a lot of unions that make some egregious errors on behalf of their members. Take some of the unions that are endorsing Kamala Harris for that, for example. Right, point. When it comes to the longshoremen, this isn't like a job that's just open to the general public. No. You have to literally be born into or be family to get into that. Like it's literally the mafia. Like there's no ifans or butts about it. It is the mafia. Like, yeah, you're a made man. You got your Italian blood. Like that's literally what it is. You got your longshoreman blood or you don't get in. It's literally royalty of the supply chain. You know, my grandpa, one of my grandpas was the man at one of the major ports on the East Coast for a very long time. And I can confirm that, yeah. You're related to the godfather? One of them maybe, but you know, it's true. And then when you would go, I remember when I was really little, they used to have like the annual picnics and man, these were events. It was like literally a carnival. I couldn't imagine the, I guess at the time, you're talking early 80s, tens of thousands of dollars it would take to put on this one day event. The ridiculous amount of food. I mean, even then grilling back in the 80s was like hamburgers and hot dogs period. They had ribs, they had steak and chicken. You know, they brought out like, I don't even know they made these things at the time. It was like, they were like mobile soda making stations. Like they had soda, you know, that came out of the, you know, like the soda machine, but they were in like vans. And it was just things that would like go to these major corporate events that, you know, the peasants wouldn't normally get. But when they were-- It was a corporate event. Yeah, when those organizations and big timers through their annual, man, they gave out t-shirts, they gave out hats. I remember all this stuff we used to get. And it was just crazy. One year they gave out polo shirts. You want to talk about the mafia. You know, you have a whole bunch of these guys that were longshoremen and dock workers and the people above them. Like the, the port chiefs and stuff like that walking around with their tinted reading glasses and tucked in polo shirts with the collars all flared. It was like some of the memories that I just, I have still images of it in my head. And when this stuff came up, kind of took me back. The news broke across the wire this week. I'll be at a win for the Biden-Harris regime because they don't have to take another crisis to the ballot box. Optically, it does give, well, at least the illusion that they were ahead of this thing as you know these major liberal douchebags at the heads of these labor unions are only doing it to kind of save face with the Democrat nominee as she seems to be struggling up and down the battleground states right now. Let's listen. [MUSIC PLAYING] Breaking tonight, we're getting reports. Union workers have reached an agreement to suspend their strike until January, telling our Alexis Adams on the dock there that the strike is over. One of the delegates saying that the ILA union notified all workers that an agreement has been reached and that port workers must report back to work tomorrow. We're being told that a final deal will have to be struck by January 15, giving a lot of time here. Otherwise, the proposal for a 62% wage increase goes off the table, but it seems like for the interim that this standoff with ships off the coasts of these ports will come to an end. It's interesting. 62 is short of the 70 that they asked for, but here's the deal, Noah. You know how these labor unions act, haven't watched them for so many years and reported on things like this on the show. Donald Trump and JD Vince win in November 5th. They're going back on strike, you think so? Oh, yeah, 100%. So I get the East Coast weather, inclement weather, all that kind of stuff. I would say that, yeah, they probably should be comparable to the amount of pay, but I would assume that those guys will actually probably sit around a lot more than the West Coast guys, because it's not like whether rain, sleet, or hail, the US mail always deliver. These guys probably inclement weather comes in. They're maybe not unloading as much stuff. Yeah, because the ships couldn't even come into port under real bad weather, right? Meanwhile, California, oh, it rained for 10 minutes. Sorry. No, it's a good point. But still, I mean, if you're going to pay them equally, that's fine, but it should be not quite to the extent that I would venture to say that the California guys are probably getting paid a little much. Yeah. Good point. If they're having Bentley's and 900-- $1 million houses. It's the truth. Like our interview coming up with the president of the conservative caucus, Mr. Jim Paff, who's going to be making his return to the podcast. So, frenemies, or I don't even know what you want to call it, I guess, duos that we would have never expected. Let's just say a few short years ago, would be failed Republican congressional candidate and absolute rhino, whose favorite activities include launching long-range missiles into some of our biggest geopolitical foes countries, Liz Cheney, has now teamed up physically on the campaign trail with Kamala Harris. Noah, did you see this one coming? No. No, I didn't either. After losing a race in Wyoming to Congresswoman Harriet Hagman in a fashion we might never see again. The Congresswoman has become deranged to sit on the partisan and biased, sham, hoax, J6 committee, becoming friends with Nancy Pelosi, and crying Adam Kinzinger. And now actually campaigning physically on the campaign trail at dual speaking events with the current vice president. Yesterday, they were up in Repon, Wisconsin, a battleground state which Kamala Harris internal numbers, at least, are showing her moving closer and closer to being within the margin of error, which would be a huge win for Donald Trump. But let's hear the out of touch, irrelevant, and deranged Congresswoman, stumbling for the Democrats now in battleground Wisconsin. Let's check it out. I don't care if you are a Democrat or a Republican or an independent. That is depravity, and we must never become numb to it. Any person who would do these things can never be trusted with power again. We must defeat Donald Trump on November 5th. [APPLAUSE] In that election, 20 years ago, when we were campaigning in Wisconsin and all across the country, we were campaigning as compassionate conservatives. What January 6th shows us is that there is not an ounce-- not an ounce of compassion in Donald Trump. He is petty, he is vindictive, and he is cruel. And Donald Trump is not fit to lead this good and great nation. How that makes you feel, Noah, all warm and fuzzy? The opposite, actually. Now you just want to rage. People are so crazy. And I said it on social media. Speaking of events like that and the language that they used, I've seen it many times before. It's usually in one of the "Star Wars" movies and right before the empire lost a death star. Where they had chest puffed and thought that they were so untouchable, they forget about something as small as an exhaust pipe and it could lead to an absolute disaster. And the worst part about it is, well, no, I've got a tweet here. And I want you to tell me if you can guess whose tweet this is. It's back from August 11, 2020. Kamala Harris is a radical liberal who would raise taxes, take away guns and health insurance, and explode the size and power of the federal government. She wants to recreate America in the image of what's happening on the streets of Portland and Seattle. We won't. We can't give her the chance. -The Donald Trump? -That's the same Liz Cheney who is now campaigning. -Oh, Kamala Harris, up in Michigan yesterday. And in addition to tweets like that, which we've been able to unearth, they were the lies that she tells. All of the stark contrast to everything that she had put out on social media, just a few short years ago, that she was actually stumping on in Battleground, Michigan yesterday. Let's hear it. [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] -I know, I know that a President Harris, that President Harris will be able to unite this nation. I know that she will be a President who will defend the rule of law. And I know that she will be a President who can inspire all of our children. -Oh. -And if I might say so, especially our little girls. -Oh. [CHEERING AND APPLAUSE] -To do great things. So help us write the ship of our democracy so that history will say of us, when our time of testing came, we did our duty. And we prevailed because we loved our country. -Stop it. -Yeah, no, you don't love our country. Pretty sure that's fake news. -Yeah. -So there's that. And then when you look at, well, first of all, I think this goes without saying. Shut up, bitch! -A country over party or whatever that means, rally, up in Wisconsin. Kamala Harris would join Liz Cheney shortly after on the stage. And we would hear her thank the former Congresswoman and failed politician for her now backstabbing scumbaggery and just not being able to hash it out to President Trump, but to hear it. [APPLAUSE] -And I also want to thank your father, Vice President Dick Cheney, for his support and what he has done to serve our country. Every endorsement matters. And this endorsement matters a great deal, Liz. And it carries the special significance. -Does it carry a special significance? Because for the last 20 years, the Democrats have called Dick Cheney and members of his family war criminals. I have no idea, but we're going to be able to figure it out what it means or lack thereof having any weight in the upcoming election. Donald Trump, of course, from his true social account wouldn't let such an opportunity to ratio the failed former Congresswoman for Wyoming. Let's read it. "Liz Cheney lost her congressional seat by the largest margin in the history of Congress for a sitting representative. The people of Wyoming are really smart. She has a low IQ war hawk that, as a member of the J6, unselect committee of the political hacks and thugs, illegally destroyed and deleted all documents, information, and evidence. Her father, Dick, was a leader of our ridiculous journey into the Middle East, where trillions of dollars were spent and millions of people were killed. And for what? Nothing. Well, today, these two fools, because of their Republican party, no longer wants them, endorse the most liberal senator in the US Senate, further left an even Pocahontas or crazy Bernie Sanders, lion Kamala Harris. What a pathetic couple that is, both suffering gravely from Trump derangement syndrome. Good luck to them both. I don't think Donald Trump could have put it any better. And it was Scott Jennings on CNN last night who had some back-end commentary on the speaking event between the two political figures. Let's hear it. I just fundamentally disagree that we won't have a democracy. I think this country is strong, stronger than any individual politician in either party. And so I believe, deeply, that the policy differences matter. So did Liz Cheney at one point. She used to call Kamala Harris a radical liberal who would race taxes, take away guns and health insurance and explode the size and power of the federal government. Now, this means something to a lot of people. And so, I don't begrudge her her viewpoints. And obviously she strongly dislikes Donald Trump and what he represents. But there are a heck of a lot of people in this country who thought they were getting something out of Biden and Harris that they did not get. And there's a lot of Republicans and conservatives who probably may have some proclivities that Cheney has about what Trump did on January the 6th, but are mortified at the policy outcomes of Biden and Harris. They were not moderates. They were radical liberals, just like Cheney predicted they would be. I think politics has a couple of purposes. When elections in govern and the way Harris has governed the last three and a half years, I cannot-- - There's not equal lending elections. And that's just the facts. Not being able to hash out these differences and what it means to the upcoming November election is just critical as we have to be able to take this head on and we have to be able to get, from back in the White House to get this country back on the right track. Speaking of which, and bringing up our last audio clip of the week, Donald Trump caught up with News Nation following his rally in Saginaw, Michigan yesterday. It was asked a multitude of questions. One that I thought or enjoyed the most was that Donald Trump had to say about taking on the cartels. Let's listen. - The Mexican cartel and we have seen smugglers targeting American law enforcement with weapons and with their tactics right now. For example, I just reported on four RPGs and eight IEDs found in a Mexican scout site on the other side of the border in the Tucson sector. And then today we're talking about the Mexican cartels using drone jammers to intercept our drone capabilities in our surveillance technology. So how do you counter that? How do you keep American law enforcement safe and our border patrol safe? And how do you keep the weapons out of the hands of the cartel? - We need a military operation. What's happening, what you just telling me? We need a military operation. These people have become military. They're very rich, they have a lot of money. They're among the richest people probably in the world. They're very rich and they're very evil. And people are dying at levels that nobody's ever seen from fentanyl, from fentanyl poisoning. And it comes through the border, comes from China and through the border. And we're gonna get it stopped. We're going to have to get in some military action. And we're gonna take, if we need military, look, they're killing 300,000 people a year. I think it's more than that. You know, they always say 100, 102. It's over 300,000 people are being killed from fentanyl and drugs that come over the border. We're gonna do something about it. That's like having a big war. That's not like having a little war. You got a war, you don't lose that many people. The Civil War, we lost 600,000 people. We're losing 300,000 people a year. We're not gonna stand for it. - I don't think we are either. Listen, there's gonna be a lot of stuff that comes out over the course of the next, couple of weeks, some October surprises, probably from both sides of the aisle. All we can say is that we're here for it. I saw some polling that came out yesterday. This was again, this came on CNN, believe it or not. And I just wanna get into the numbers here. CNN's poll gives Donald Trump a nearly 70% chance of winning the election. 68.4% to Kamal Harris' 30.9% to be exact. And that comes now 32 days till election day. Harris Wallace was given almost the full backing of the media. T-ball interviews, blatantly biased debate moderators, and it may not matter. In addition, when you look at some of the stuff that's out on Polymarket, Donald Trump now has a 50 to 49 lead in the national polling and a 52 to 48 lead in the state of Pennsylvania, one he'll be campaigning on this weekend. In his illustrious return to Butler, which will be comprehensively covering with a recap and post-speaking event analysis on our Tuesday edition of the show, we're getting ready to wrap up the week right now and jump in with the conservative caucuses president, Mr. Jim Path, but before we do, another check-in with one of our partners. It's an unpleasant truth that 42% of Americans are obese and 79% of Americans are overweight. That's practically one in every two Americans living day to day with every minute counting down to the end of an unhealthy existence. It's time to change that and make Americans healthy again. Make America healthy again. - All right, joining us next on the show today, this big Friday edition of the "Stake for Breakfast" podcast. He's the president of the conservative caucus joining us again, Mr. Jim Path, thanks for coming back on the show. - Hey, thanks for having me. - Always a pleasure, sir. Someone with a bunch of experience in politics and resume as robust as yours. Extensively worked up on Capitol Hill and now doing great things over at the conservative caucus. Our listenership is in for a treat to say the very least. Listen, Jim, we're in the fallout now. America is kind of digesting what it looked like to see vice presidents in action earlier this week. JD Vance, Tim Waltz, national audience. I think anyone that saw JD Vance or maybe he's getting to know him for the first time, probably a sigh of relief and then horrified when it comes to what they might have seen from Tim Waltz in my opinion, but I want you to kind of break it down. - Listen, Tim Waltz is creepy. Hands down, the man is creepy. I mean, the plethora of posts I was able to make on X during the debate with all of his weird facial expressions and I've become friends with school shooters. I mean, you know, it's a treasure trove of information, but on the other side of that, JD Vance, who you and I already know that JD Vance is fantastic, but so many people have been given the impression that he is this horrible guy who's about to take everything away and he's really bad because he's a Project 2025 or whatever the freak they're saying. And they got to see a man there who if they watched it, they know they're confident that him number two, if Donald Trump gets elected, is ready day one to become president should anything really bad happen. So JD Vance proved himself. I think anyone that saw it knows that. Now these vice presidential debates don't change the whole paradigm of a presidential race, but they can have a little bit of an effect and it was entirely positive for JD Vance. And as I've seen Kamala Harris memes saying, is it too late to switch over to the Jewish guy in Pennsylvania? And that's kind of the attitude if you look at it. - Certainly is, you know, and when you look at some of the things that they covered, the out of touch nature or the mainstream press or what they want to kind of try and I guess hypnotize Americans before or ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Jim, listen, we're talking about reproductive rights. We're talking about things we're not mentioning the Ukraine war. We're not mentioning Hurricane Helene. We're not mentioning a lot of the things that JD Vance would have been able to use as talking points in regards to pinning failures on Tim Walts and Kamala Harris. We're not talking about the summer of love. We're talking about January 6th still. And you know, January 6th, 2025 is a lot closer than January 6th, 2021, but it's something that they want at top of mind for voters. I mean, you've seen this. You've been a part of a lot of races, whether it be congressional or just otherwise. And you know, you have to be able to break this down. Has America, has there been enough times since the last election when Joe Biden who supposedly received 81 million votes, something that didn't have enough political capital to get them through the next four years? And what they've done with Kamala Harris has the American electorate woke up, especially in the swing and battleground states, the ones who are going to electorally, possibly win the election for Donald Trump. Have they woken up enough to be able to go to the ballot box and get this country back on the right course on November 5th? What's your opinion? - Listen, I'm gonna tell you, Americans are smart. They're much smarter than any politician in Washington, DC gives them credit for. So if you're gonna continue to bring up this January 6th mantra, which let's not forget, Jack Smith is trying to bring it up too, in this recent drop that he had, which is absolutely stupid and crazy, I believe, except for the most ardent Kamala Harris and Joe Biden supporter, no one cares about it. And they're sitting back and saying, can we like go on to the next thing? Let's move forward 'cause like, I'm not worried about that right now. What I'm worried about is the fact that even though you tell me, wow, really low gas prices at $202.80 a gallon when I was paying a $1.25 when Trump was in office. Listen, the American people get this stuff. And Democrats actually are doing this. Kamala Harris is doing this. Tim Waltz did it on, and the CBS News people were doing it during the debate because they know that's their only hope. If you talk about the economy, if you talk about immigration and what's going on there, this is the, that's the only way that they can win is to try to take the focus off that. I think JD Vance and Donald Trump have been pretty disciplined by staying on it. But there's another factor here. What's going on after this hurricane in North Carolina and Georgia? - Correct. - Is really ticking off a lot of people because they are totally flubbing it up. You know, Katrina, when George Bush was president, by the way, I have nothing really positive to say about George Bush. But just going back to that situation, when you look at the haranguing that he got from the media, there were some mistakes made with Katrina. It doesn't even compare to the problems going on with North Carolina and Georgia right now, particularly North Carolina, and the mainstream media is trying to hide it, but no one is fooled. They know that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are the worst thing that could happen to them if they get elected in November. And I think that's going to show up on that on election day in between now and then. - Jim, how is it 30 some odd days to election day? Early voting's taking place in swinging battleground states. Early ballots are going out across the country right now, and the Democrats can't even fake it in regards to getting ahead of these two newest crises that have blown up for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. You'd mentioned the obviously response to Hurricane Halene, which has been absolutely crushing huge parts of the American Southeast, but you also have to talk about the longshoremen and dock workers strike. I mean, we're entering the end of the first week of the strike right now. And the way the union bosses there have talked, if this gets to two, three weeks, the ripple effect on the American public is going to be something that might even remind them of how bad the supply chain was looking during COVID. - I believe that's going to actually have, absolutely happens, excuse me. And two and three weeks when we have four weeks and you still have more than half of people they're going to show up on election day. - Sure. Listen, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in a pinch. They don't have a whole lot of options. First of all, every union member in this country, certainly the longshoremen, but that's seeping out into other union people, are looking back over the months and months and months before this, that the Biden administration didn't do a dang thing to fix the issue. So much so that the labor secretary couldn't even say she had been paying attention to the issue. It's crazy, those people know, like they know for sure that word spreads. So that's the one bad thing. They're already got to strike against Kamala Harris and Biden right now. The next problem is this. If they continue this on, as you just pointed out, the economic numbers are going to get worse. If they invoked Taft Hartley, which is the law passed that gives the president the capability to put a cooling off period on union disputes that have national significance, if he does that, he's going to piss off the union people even worse. So this whole thing compared to all we were talking about earlier is a huge problem for Kamala Harris. And we don't see all of the effects of it in the polls right now. It's just about to lay out. And I really do believe this could be a blowout. I'm not predicting it yet, but I believe that it could be. I do think Donald Trump's going to win. And so if this continues on this way, Donald Trump, if he keeps pressing the message, he went to North Carolina and took care of people. He stood there with Franklin Graham and Samaritan's purse who are doing excellent work down there as much as they can. While at the same time, the Republicans and Democrats in Congress, they gave FEMA $20 billion in this last continued resolution and Mayorkas and the administration are saying, "Hey, we don't got no more money to give." It's crazy. It's going to work against them. And thank goodness it's highlighting how incompetent these people are. - Yeah, you know, whether it's going to be Donald Trump delivering his remarks in Butler, Pennsylvania, making his triumphant return there this weekend or wherever he decides to hit out on the campaign trail over the course of the next two weeks. I hope they continue to hammer those narratives home. The lack of response. You know, you see our footing geo-politically continue to slip every day. What's going on in Israel right now is abhorrent. The Biden-Harris administration is just leaving them out there, open to attacks against Iran. Things we haven't seen ever, you know, without American might backing these people up in modern history. And it's just disgusting to see, you know, it's like they don't care. Joe Biden's checked out. You could tell. I mean, it even got to the point the other day they had interviewed Joe Biden. He delivered remarks earlier in the day and then they caught him in the Oval Office later and they're like, well, how do you feel about Donald Trump out on the campaign trail saying that like governors and places like Georgia having a hard time calling you? Joe Biden went into it and extended. What Donald Trump lies whenever we have crisis is, and I don't know why he does it 'cause it makes a situation worse. Dude, within 24 hours you've got Brian Kemp going on the news and saying like, you know what Donald Trump is right? I have had a hard time reaching Joe Biden and they aren't doing enough down here. It's like every single thing that could blow up in their face is doing it ahead of the election. And like you said, might be a blowout. I mean, when you talk about Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, all being able to hopefully call it early on election night. That could lead to a domino effect across the country through the blue wall and the Rust Belt all the way across to the Sun Belt and things of that nature that could have Donald Trump, you know, get a victory that might on paper right now look like he can't attain. - If George, and great points, if Georgia and North Carolina go big for Trump, if you see the potential which some polls seem to be indicating, you're not hearing about it much, that maybe Maine goes all red, maybe New Hampshire. And I'm not predicting New Hampshire right now, but it's kind of looking a little weird. If you see New York, which I'm not gonna predict Donald Trump wins, but if you see that within five points with all this other stuff happening, the West Coast is gonna go crazy. And yeah, I think you could see a big wave. But let's back up for a minute and see, why is this happening? Why is this the way it is? Well, first of all, I think divine providence is always a play when God wants to have an outcome, he'll make it happen. But just look at this concurrence of events. What we're seeing is what Democrats really are, what we, something we don't typically see because they're politicians like everyone else, politicians even, by the way, like stupid Republican, they're once a while, but worse on the Democrat side, where they massage the media and massage the message around what they want you to think they're doing, and then suddenly they get caught in what they really are. This is what Democrats are. They don't care about the citizens, they get harmed in major natural disasters. They could give a flip about the economy when they want to stand for union members. And by the way, I believe in union member rights to figure out what they want for pay. But they prefer to have the economy go bad rather than work the system the right way. They will juice the economy up in inflationary terms so that they can meet the needs of their political progenitors. That's what Democrats are, and it's playing out and it's hitting them in the face right now. That's, like I said, I think that's providential. And I do hope the American people wake up to what Democrats do, what they're about, and how they can get away from this by voting for Donald Trump. - Yeah, no, it makes a lot of sense, and those are some great points there. Jim, how do you see some of the other races, things that are gonna probably assist Donald Trump in his second term, like a retaining and extending the House majority and the House of Representatives and flipping the Senate over to Republican control coming up in this upcoming election as well. - Well, I think the Senate is gonna go into Republican hands. It could be up to two to four seats. I'm kind of predicting on the low end right now. Montana's gonna flip. There's not gonna be a pickup in Maryland, Larry Hogan's making no progress. You may still see a pickup in Arizona, but nonetheless, I think we're gonna see a flip of about three seats, and Democrats are gonna lose the Senate. I don't know yet what's happening in the House, but what's incurred, 'cause it is hard to read those numbers at present. There's so much focus on the presidential race. But what I'm seeing is that the Republican to Democrat numbers are within that five point range that by my 30 years of looking at this seems to be the sweet spot for Republicans. In other words, if Republicans are down even no more than five points against Democrats in the R&D national, they tend to win the House, and if they're above that almost tends to be a shoe in. I'm seeing that number favorable for Republicans right now. The real issues though, is the gerrymandering. We gotta see what's gonna happen in New York and California, where it just may be too difficult to overcome to get benefit from that number I've talked about. So some of that needs to play out. Young Kim, just as an example, was not quite gotten over the top over in California, which is a bellwether for what's happening in the state wide. But nonetheless, this is still playing out. I think Republicans may be able to keep at least the thin majority, and if we get a big help here with all the bad news, maybe 10 to 15 seat majority or bigger. - Yeah, that's the kind of way I'm seeing it right now. It's a seven seat majority. Now I see it's getting up to as many as 230 and a favorable map. You do have to remember that Donald Trump is at the top of the ticket and what he would do to pull some of those House Republicans that he wasn't able to do in 2022, because obviously that was a midterm election. And then in the Senate, I think we're both on the same page. I see a three to four seat flip. I see us having a slim majority there. Hopefully we won't get too much of a wishy-washy, but again, it's like one of the recent Congress people who have come on the show have alluded to. At the end of the day, what would you do? Would you rather negotiate with Chuck Schumer or John Thune? So it's going to be a pick your poison, but as long as Donald Trump, I think he's back in the Oval Office, will have a little bit more congruent nature of working at least to get things started. Jim, as we're getting ready to wrap here, you guys are hitting a big anniversary and got some things going on down at the Conservative Caucus. I want to kind of let you have the opportunity to talk to the organization about our listenership and tell us what you guys got going on. - Well, thanks, Ron. I want to ask everyone go to theconservativecaucus.org. Right now, we're about to have our 50th anniversary celebration a week from Sunday, October 13th. Rudy Giuliani's coming in graciously to speak. We got a lot of cool things that are going to be happening there. For those who are more in my generation, Ron, who remember Howard Phillips, they're going to know that Conservative Caucus over 50 years has done a lot of significant things to push a Conservative agenda. We're the oldest Conservative grassroots organization in the country, and we'll have people there like Barry Goldwater, Jr., David Keene, former head of American Conservative Union. I know it's going to be there. We got a lot of cool people coming, and so it's going to be a cool event, Northern Virginia, anyone that's in that area, Maryland, West Virginia, Northern Virginia. If you'd like to come, you can register at theconservativecaucus.org. It's going to be a big night. We may have a couple of special surprises, but we'll take a look at broadcasting this in a way so people can share it with us, or at least to have the video thereafter. But what we're celebrating is not only what can happen this year if Donald Trump gets elected, but I'm going to tell you this, and I'll be announcing more of this as time goes on. We are going to put a strong effort in 2025, not only working up to the 2026 elections, but we're asking people to help us financially because we are going to go after the problem of the legal issues related to elections. We want to take on every bit of these dirty voter rolls around the country. We're going to be targeting that. We're going to target lobbying, changing election laws, because we need to get back to paper verified ballots and same day voting, and we're going to take some major steps in 2025 toward that. But we have a history of it. We're going to play this out for everybody, and I hope everyone can at least go there and sign up to be a volunteer. We can train them how to do work in their state and then help them go on from there so we can have a wonderful 2025 and 2026 no matter the outcome on November 5th. - Oh, that's great. We talk about this as an election coming up in 32 days now, which your own physical ballot might not be enough to do the job that we need to get done. And like you said, already looking down the road a piece to ensure elections moving forward, that they're cleaner, that they're safer, that they're more secure and go back to the things that the framers and founders wanted. Absolutely fantastic job that you guys are doing that in there, Jim. We've got the caucus live link in the show description today. If anybody wants to check you out on social media, where can they find you as well, my friend? - They can go to @x for my personal profile @Jimpath, J-I-M-P-F-A-F-F, and they can go to TC caucus also as our handle on x, and of course the conservative caucus.org has the rest of our social media. - Always a great time, and always a great conversation.
