Monkey, this is not nom, this is bowling, they're a rule. Hey, hey, hey, hey, junior, America! It's like, for the best! So stand by! What's up, everybody, and welcome to the Steak for Breakfast Podcast. I'm Ron Noah's here with me. Yo. Happy Friday to everybody. If you're a first-time listener, welcome to the show. If you're a long-time listener, welcome back to America's Fastest Growing. And quickly becoming favorite political podcasts on a busy news Friday. Noah, how's it going? Not too bad. How are you? I'm tired. Yeah, the usual. The usual. Man, a lot of non-presidential race-related news clogging up the news cycle lately, and I think that can only mean one thing. What's that? We're doing a lot better than, I think at least the pollsters and the mainstream presser allowing Donald Trump to be kind of viewed as right now. I really do feel that. I think when a whole bunch of non-essential news items clog up the cycle, it's a lot more to do with that, especially now 32 days away from Election Day. Early voting going on in several states, mail-in ballots going out across the country. You really have to lend credit to the job that Donald Trump's done. The JD Vance did earlier this week in the vice presidential debate. Oof. Yeah, talk about watching Murder Live on TV. Oof, that was bad. Yeah. They were trying to rationalize old psycho-wise. No, that means that he's really engaged and his feelings are getting out. I'm like, isn't it when you can see like all the way around the whites your eyes? Isn't that like a scary thing? Yeah, or tampon, Tim. Oh, watch. I was watching some other show and they're like, Tim and his wife are like the old couple you meet and like the disaster like end of the world movie. They seem really nice and then they tell you later they're eating people. Yes, yes. Yes, they are. Speaking of end of the world movies, you know, continued thoughts and prayers out to those who have been affected and especially those who have not been helped in the wake of Hurricane Helene. God, death toll is well over 200 now. So many people have lost their families. I am definitely thinking that we will probably never know the actual death tolls from this horrific event that the federal government was again not prepared for. And I guess not really surprising to anybody underfunded due to the fact that 20 million illegal aliens are enjoying a lot more money than the $750 initial payment. And when are they going to do a hurricane app? Isn't there an app for FEMA? That'd be interesting. FEMA 1 app. CBP 1 is working great. That sure is. Wallace, I don't even think there's any glitches whatsoever in that thing. It's just been... Maybe glitches with the actual numbers, maybe. That's the only thing. A nightmare for the American Southeast and for those who are down there helping, providing any kind of assistance you can, whether it be people like Congressman Mike Collins is going to be joining us at the end of the segment. Congressman Corey Mills, who's literally been airlifting people in and out of the disaster zones while dropping supplies and other portions of it. Down to just the average everyday citizens, what do you got? What do they call them? The Redneck Navy. It's just when America can come together, you have to lend credit to the people who have the heart and soul of Appalachia and the generous nature that they fearlessly have dedicated themselves to some of the citizen relief efforts down there. As you see, the government continue to either not care and while doing very little tripping over themselves. It says a lot for the state of the nation and even when, let's just say, the Biden administration or the Harris campaign can pick up a minor win getting the longshoremen to table their strike for 90 days and past the November election. You see things like this hurricane and the lack of response there, especially with more bad weather, heading for the area on the way and it just says a lot about how much they don't care about us and you probably don't hate your government enough and I don't know how to look at it any other way. You see the way that they in such an elitist nature say everything's fine, people are happy and meanwhile you're seeing all these and again there are some fake ones out there. There have been a lot of exposure to people who are posting videos or still pictures of other incidents that have happened here or previous storms but for the overwhelming majority of the people that I've talked to on the ground and some of the ones we'll talk to today like Congressman Collins, it should be refreshing that the actual American spirit is alive and well even in the face of all this adversity outside of Hurricane Halene and then after it coming to see people rise to the occasion and the manner, the way so many have and it's reassuring to me that we still got a little bit of a heart and soul left in this country. That goes without saying, you know, what the government has done. The numbers are being thrown around, it looks like you can easily confirm without getting fact checked that over a billion dollars of this year's budget has been spent on illegals whether it's filling up their debit cards because they don't want to be given government food and are able to shop in their own places or the five-star luxury hotels that they're being put up in on the taxpayer's dime, there just wasn't enough on hand cash and resources to be able to tackle this enormous disaster in the way it should have been and with more bad weather on the way it should, uh, soak fear in a lot of people that live in the areas that could be affected on. If you don't listen to the warnings, if you want to, you know, protect your property and your belongings and your livelihood in the face of another storm or even a hurricane, you run the risk of, well, again, maybe making the ultimate sacrifice in regards for property or just being caught stranded with nothing, food, water, electricity, accessibility to cell service and internet things of that nature, the government's not going to do anything for you. You know what? I mean, listen, we saw it in Katrina, which was top to bottom failure, but when you look at some of the other major disasters, I mean, you compare this to things like the Afghan withdrawal, the people that we've left there, what happened in East Palestine, Ohio a couple of years ago and, you know, with essentially a nuclear winter floating over this town, you know, they sent me your Pete Buttigieg for a day and then kind of, uh, called it a crisis. Well, you had to get back to chest feeding. That is true. Well, when you bounce back real quick to the, to the migrants with their, their debit cards or whatever, a lot of those debit cards are probably, you know, there's probably a whole lot of Venmo transactions to cartel poppy@aol.com to pay back their smuggling fees. Yep. And then when you come back to like the FEMA failures, wasn't there warehouses full of bottled water that they found like years after the fact for after Katrina? Yeah. So it's our government is holding back the Cajun Navy from bringing in their own supplies to people, they're holding back private pilots who are more than competent to go fly around. Like you don't need to worry about like air traffic when, when it's a small helicopter, like they, they, they're generally looking around to make sure they're not interfering in another aircraft's flight path. Yeah. And they're threatening to arrest people over doing what needs to be done because the government can't get their fucking hands out of their pockets. It's ridiculous. Yeah, the amount of old people and especially children who have perished some of the stories that have come out from their parents or loved ones who have survived. Yeah. You're talking about the closed airspace. This is, they closed it for drones as well, which do very little to interfere with regular air traffic, especially. Yeah. That's just because they don't want the videos to be shown to everybody else. And then when they, they say the reason that they don't want people coming in and delivering water on their own and stuff like that, somebody actually had the audacity to say that the government has preferred vendors that they like to use during these things, which is the money getting kicked back once again into the government's pockets from these fucking companies. Yeah. A lot of these companies who the government, you know, they have soft contracts with depending on the disaster and, you know, now we're at over a week and they're still waiting for some of these companies to activate or who weren't prepared in the, the manner that was needed to tackle this crisis while people are driving down with literally, in some instances, truckloads of donations and are being refused or held up at the point of entry. So yeah, I'd be willing to bet a lot of those, those preferred vendors are the same preferred vendors that are providing aid for these migrants, which again, there's the money kickback. There's the fucking greed and just absolute swamp that our government has become. Yeah. I mean, at the end of the day, it's, it's turning out the real disaster is the response or lack thereof from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And that's what we're going to be looking at in our first new segment today. We're also going to be doing our full comprehensive vice presidential debate recap as we already touched on a little bit at the top of the show. It should be great as I enjoyed an overall majority of it. I got to tell you everybody, if you have not watched it, you have to watch it. Because if you didn't know anything about JD Vance rolling up into this thing, you know a lot about him now. He's very competent. Now, were we pretty much correct in saying that he was the best debater for the 2022 midterm election cycle by a lot and it wasn't even close? He was a master debater. Yeah. And, and definitely, I guess, blew his load when it came to the VP debate all over the face of Tim loss on national television. The eyes were wide, oh boy, it was ugly. And listen, don't be friends with school shooters either. We're not talking. We're not the victims of school shooters, even though we'll have two clips that the press doubled down the question, Tim Walsh defended himself, just don't be friends with them. They're not good people. He didn't even defend himself initially. He ignored them. They literally asked him twice while he was buying fucking donuts or something and he just didn't reply. And all he would have to do is just be like, oh, I miss, you know, I didn't mean to say that. I meant like the families of school shooters. Obviously, I meant the victims of school shootings, assholes. I mean, he could have even been a complete jerk about it because they wanted to weaponize a very controversial topic, but nope, doubled and tripled down while he shoved his face full of Boston. Well, it's because he hasn't gotten the approved message from their handlers because I guarantee these people are being told they're being sat down and getting slapped in the face and being like, look, motherfucker, you are not going to say shit to the media unless I've told you what to say. You're not going to go out here and Biden this shit up. I took that picture that goes around with Kamala Harris where she's like, it looks like she's literally looking in the face of somebody and receiving some bad news and I captioned it with what do you mean? He said he's friends with school shooters, but the debate was such a disaster like memes like that went under the radar. I mean, JD Vance pulled a like a textbook, the office moment while Tim Moss is given some ridiculous response, they went to the split screen and he just kind of like looked sarcastically into the camera, breaking the fourth wall, which is something I didn't expect to see during the presidential debate. No, being self aware of to that extent, just to be like, I'm going to look directly into this camera. And what are the chances that it was the correct camera to because you know, they pan sure, they have different cameras, you know, like when we looked at the debate with Trump and Kamala, not only did she have a shorter podium than him, but the camera angles were in such a way to make her not look like she was tiny compared to him. And then Trump obviously didn't have the very flattering, you know, side angle. Oh, yeah, or lighting. They picked his bad side speaking of which that's what he would say. We'll catch up with the president as he was in second on Michigan yesterday rallying to supporters, we're now just a day outside of his illustrious return to Butler, Pennsylvania, confirmed last night on Twitter that Elon Musk will be joining him at the very least, who knows who else is going to be there for this event. But that's going to be big. And we'll bring in the latest headlines, you know, there's a bunch of other stuff going on. As I already mentioned, we'll check into some of Tim Walts's weird responses and how the nation kind of reacted to the vice presidential debate, the end of the dock workers union for the meantime, and then creepy Liz Cheney, one of the most relevant figures in all of politics campaign in battleground Wisconsin with believe it or not Kamala Harris yesterday at a dual speaking event, it reminisce it of a lot of the parts in Star Wars right before they lose a death star is how the radical left is bringing in some major figures to kind of back their candidacy, ones who, you know, as recently as last session of Congress, heavily criticized Kamala Harris, or even looking back further, were demonized by Kamala Harris, you know, for being warmongers and murderers. So it's just interesting to see how the the cycle is kind of playing out right now. But listen, there's going to be quite a few, I think October surprises this month from both sides of the aisle. So buckle up, get ready and let's jump right into this. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's disaster of a response to hurricane, Helene, again, falling back on some of the federal agencies and the mandates that they set there with their budgets who are approved by Congress and falls back on the agency heads on where the money is going. Well, impeached in the house and least favorite cabinet member of stake for breakfast, Alejandro Mayorka sits at the head of the Department of Homeland Security and you have to be able to take a lot of the blame and shift it towards that guy's office. One of the worst hires in the history of modern politics, he's been running a neck and neck race with Merrick Garland, the entirety of Joe Biden's term as president for who could fuck up the country worse in a faster fashion. And when you look at the way that Alejandro Mayorkas was speaking just about three months ago as we were heading into the summer ahead of hurricane season and how he spoke again this week, there is a stark contrast when you compare the two, let's check it out. FEMA is tremendously prepared. This is what we do. This is what they do. And the key here, Rebecca, is also to make sure that the communities who are potentially impacted are prepared as well. And it's not just hurricanes and wildfires, also extreme heat, which certainly some parts of the United States are already experiencing. As Secretary Alejandro Mayork is sounding the alarm on FEMA funding right after the devastation of Hurricane Hilling, listen. We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season. This all comes as the Biden-Harris administration spent over a billion dollars from a FEMA program on services for migrants. Attorney General, when you look at the numbers there, and I'm sure the numbers are even more astronomical than that, that's just a combination of the last two fiscal years, over 650 million this year, compared to the nearly 400 million that's been wasted this year. You know, I also saw that in parts of North Carolina right now, one that wasn't too hammered by Hurricane Hilling, there is a state-of-the-art, but yet completely empty, migrant detention center that they could be housing people at, or using as maybe a staging ground to pass out AIDS, or as a rally point for anything, just it's sitting there, shuttered. Because again, detaining people is inhumane as is, deporting them according to the embattled Department of Homeland Security Secretary. You know, what do you think when you hear him say like, "No, we are broke, and we used all your money on the illegals." Well, Ron, I would just like to remind you that the federal government and FEMA together, the things that we do, and the other things that we do really equal do-do. Yeah, and when you ask him where the money went, you know the answer that he's going to be dropping. Oh yeah. I'm going to have to- Data. There's no data. Let's just support that, but my office will get back to you, Senator, and- I would be happy to provide you that information. My office will email it to you. You can email me at ehsdaddy@aol.com More like illegal immigrant daddy. Yeah. You want to talk about who the real head of the cartels are, he's definitely the head of it in this country. Believe it or not, he joined the White House Press Pool this week, was asked about questions in response to- or the lack thereof, Hurricane Helene, where the money's going, and of course, no one does a better not answer than old Alejandro Moerquez. Let's hear what he had to say. It's all the proactive things that the federal government did, and it's response. The sentiment, according to my colleagues, on the ground from people, is that the federal government is not doing enough to help. Where are they? Where is the help? What is your message to those people? I would say the following that we are there, and we will continue to be there, and we will reach the most difficult to access locations. We are relentless in our efforts to ensure the safety and security of all- Relentless? That's what you're going to go with? 100% not true, according to everyone on the ground. I'm just letting everybody in. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, listen, all they would have had to say is there have been families settled there from Venezuela or Haiti, and that disaster relief zone would have been in tip-top shape in no time. For as sad as it sounds, it's the truth, and everybody from Tucker Carlson years ago to us, almost every week on the show, if you don't think that the over 20 million people that they've let in are literally here to replace us, and if Kamala Harris can win on November 5th, they're going to get pathways to citizenship, therefore petition power that they're going to allow for. Now, Donald Trump has said 100 million more to come in. Yeah. And so much that they're replacing us is that they're augmenting the numbers that are going to be used to create the census for one, but it's going to create more house seats in Congress and all that stuff. It's going to fuck everything up. Yeah. Yeah. Non-architect. Non-architect. Non-architect. But just the interest level itself or lack thereof of the government's wanting to help people who are literally live streaming from the roof before it collapse, causing them to drown to death in their own flooded out homes as the houses washed away in the next door neighbors, then taking over to be the next person recording this footage and posting it to social media. Meanwhile, you know, two miles away, some guy with a personally owned helicopter is being written a ticket because he landed in an authorized zone. Exactly. You can't make this shit up. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who are experiencing of it. You know what this is the equivalent of? This is the equivalent of your neighbor's house being on fire and you using your own garden hose to spray down the flames and then getting fined for spring water on the sidewalk. Yeah. Yeah. Why you tell your neighbor it shouldn't, this house shouldn't have caught on fire in the first place. Yeah. Well, I mean, if the disaster zone didn't flood and you wouldn't have this problem, would you? It's literally the take of the federal government right now. I just don't understand how the federal government can be out of money when we've watched them just not that I want them to print more money, but we just watch them print money for everything that they want. Yeah. I mean, when you talk about something as, you know, recently as last week, right, we just cut another check for what was it over $10 billion for this guy? If you can't give us gun give us some financial support. Okay. Okay, please, it was a credit, but it's the truth. No, it's, that's the thing. The government has no problems just racking up the credit bill, literally. And it's not even their credit bill. It's like, it's like, if you've got like a company car and you're, you're driving, you're like, well, I'm going to drive fucking 90, don't want to give a fuck how much gas I spend. Right. Stupid. It's, it's a shame to, to watch this go down, you know, almost as embarrassing as it was watching Kamala Harris. Now a week later, finally make it down. I believe she was in Georgia yesterday. She had on her crisis line attire, like a personally tailored jacket, which was given to her by FEMA. They threw up a little podium. I mean, I don't know if you saw some of the videos and to put a little piece of electrical tape over president of the United States, probably that too. So they had her stopped, right? And there was like all of her handlers around. And then on the side of the road, there was like a four member black family. And what they did, they had somebody like go up to this family, start crying. And as soon as the person started crying and they were like reaching in to console him, they like basically gave her the okay to like slowly walk past them. It's like these. And then she has this, this look on her face, this like, oh, I'm so, I'm so horrified by everything that's happening. And she gives them this very flippant, like, like off handed point, like as she walks by, like she can't even be the one to like walk over and like talk to these people like Donald Trump did earlier this week. Like JD Vance. And people gave Trump shit for throwing paper towels out, like at least he was throwing something out. There's a lot of people. And you talked about what happened after Hurricane Katrina, that's another you point to that's in the wake of Hurricane Maria and what happened in Puerto Rico or Puerto Rico, as Donald Trump called it back there. Puerto Rico. Listen, they found warehouses full of supplies that actually were from the American federal government months after the election back in 2020. And you know, the lack of response from the government was weaponized against Donald Trump and just another thing the deep state did to try and prevent his reelection. And nobody that was involved in that probably got in trouble whatsoever, because you know the fucking tracking numbers were still on those fucking pallets of shit. And then there was probably some fucking paperwork that Joe Dickhead signed for. You know, it's cost at least $350 a night for some of these hotels in New York that the migrants are shacked up in, especially that actually sounds cheap compared to the shit that I've heard. Yeah, higher in the cases of the five star hotels that they are currently occupying. In addition to that, we've heard numbers anywhere from around 700 to several thousand dollars a month that their government issued debit cards are refilled with depending on where they're located and what level of care, I guess you could say they're getting in response to their illegal presence here in the United States. But don't you worry. And just to repeat, once again, those debit cards are being used a lot of times to pay back the cartel. So we're literally giving people not only quote unquote asylum and legal status in our country, even though they're not authorized and they wouldn't be approved because they don't actually have a valid claim. But now we're actually paying the criminal organizations in Mexico back for the fees that these people have racked up. Well, don't you worry about it. Here's Kamal Harris telling America yesterday down in Georgia that everything's going to be all right. Let's check it out. The president and I have been paying close attention from the beginning to what we need to do to make sure the federal resources hit the ground as quickly as possible. And that includes what was necessary to make sure that we provided direct federal assistance. And that work has been happening. I want to thank the governor for his leadership and his close coordination with the federal government with our administration. And I want to thank the local leaders for together creating a task force like response, knowing that we are at our best when we work together and coordinate resources, coordinate our communications to the maximum effect for the community that has been impacted. And the federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750 for folks who need immediate needs being met, such as food, baby formula and the like. And you can apply now for anyone who's watching this who has been affected. There are FEMA personnel who are going door-to-door to interact personally with folks, especially those who do not have electricity. But also that aid, if you have electricity, can be applied for online. And I encourage people to do that. FEMA will just basically verify your address and then process should take hold. FEMA is also providing tens of thousands more dollars for folks to help them be able to deal with home repair, to be able to cover a deductible when and if they have insurance and also hotel costs. Today I'm also announcing that the president has approved the governor's request for 100 percent federal reimbursement of local costs. And Mayor, as you have pointed out, the burden to local governments, including state, the state government is pretty immense. And so by announcing today and making the dedicated resources to cover 100 percent of local costs will have a huge impact on our ability to get relief to people as quickly as possible. And that will include, for example, what the federal government will do to reimburse local and state governments around issues like debris removal, which you can see just up and down this street, much less in other areas of the state and in the region, this is a big issue. The cicadas weren't having it either. Listen, there is no internet. There is no power. There's no running water and there's no food. We're now well over a week since this hurricane hit, definitely at least a week since the last drops fell from the sky. And this bitch goes down to Georgia yesterday. She lies about working with Governor Camp as we'll point out, you know, there was a couple of clips from our last episode of the podcast where Joe Biden, remember we played that clip piece behind the desk in the Oval Office and he's like, we're talking to the governor in Georgia. I don't know why Donald Trump says this. He makes bad situations worse. Well, doesn't really seem like that's the case. It seems like, again, Donald Trump was correct in saying that governor Camp had a hard time reaching Kamala Harris and Joe Biden and moving forward. It seems like his continued displeasure with their response is something that is now spilling over into the mainstream media, which directly conflicts what they've both said, that they've almost seamlessly worked with these agencies when they've essentially done nothing. They're asking people to go online and apply for things when they have no services to do so. They're saying that FEMA is going around door to door. Well, in a lot of communities, Kamala, there aren't no more fucking doors. They're washed several miles down the road a piece and the people who used to live there have either vacated the area or perished. But much will be the case like the, let's just say the Maui fire, for instance, I don't think we'll ever know the actual numbers of how many people who lost their lives during this thing. And it's not like we were getting any bitter answers from Joe Biden. He made some really off-color comments the other day when he got off of, well, coming back from the southeast to the White House, you know, he returned on Marine One late, stopped for a press gaggle, but then really had lost his place and didn't know what he was talking about here. Let's check it out. Not only did something occurred, the physical occurred, the other father's daughter. What do the states of the storm zone need, Mr. President? Okay. What do the states of the storm zone, what do they need after what you saw today? Oh, and the storm zone. Yes, sir. What storm we're talking about, they're getting everything they need and they're very happy about the board. So we're just going to have to go back to the pond and just more money for 30. Again, they're getting everything they need and people are very happy. That's the opposite of what's going on right now. Everybody knows it, but the media will continue to fabricate that narrative, that everything is fine. And if you ask questions about it, you're racist and all those other things. Joe Biden also walled down in Georgia earlier this week. Again, deflected responsibility, didn't take any for his slow reactionary measures and methods to this and then did what a lot of people in the Biden-Harris administration have done for the entirety of their term in office, passed the book, shift the blame, call out MAGA Republicans and obviously the entirety of Congress will tear it. Folks, this entire project has been, of course, billions of dollars, not tens of thousands, not millions, not a billion, billions of dollars because it comes through to close to so many states. You know, when Congress has an obligation to me, it seems to me, to ensure the states have the resources they need. Now, are we calling Congress back? In this session, while they're scheduled to be out of the office up to and through the November elections, if they're all running in their own races as well, I hope so if that's the only route, it seems like when Ukraine doesn't have enough munitions to load into the missile air defense systems, when Israel wants to open up another front into their response for what happened on October 7th, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the agency heads, along with the military industrial complex, has no problem cutting checks and printing cash for people who don't need it here in this country. However, when it comes to responding to tragedies like this, especially in the face of tens of millions of illegals getting put up for free everywhere across the country, well, this is just another clear cut example of how the government all the way up through the office of the presidency and the woman who's vying to be it after November 5th has responded or not to this absolute disaster down there in the American Southeast. I had mentioned Governor Brian Kemp, I found a clip of him the other day, so apparently Joe Biden saying that they're working well with people like Governor Kemp only means that they're addressing the issues of the people in the peach state in 11 counties, when it's those who are in all 99 that really need relief. You know, I pointed out that Donald Trump walled down in Georgia last week and out on the campaign trail and battleground states had heavily criticized the Biden Harris response to Hurricane Helene, even saying so much that they were hard to get on the phone when it came to the governors who were trying to reach out to them and express the desperate needs that they had for the citizens who were worse defected by this storm, Joe Biden, Karine Jean Pierre and Kamala Harris, all out on the campaign trail last week and during the White House press pool, refuted these claims and said that they were working seamlessly with governors, like the one down in Georgia, however, when catching up with reporters yesterday, Brian Kemp painted a different picture, let's listen. When the first emergency declarations came down, there was only 11 counties in that. A lot of people were outraged, including me, because there was such devastation in, you know, up to 90 counties. So we call the White House, we spoke to the President's chief of staff, the FEMA administrator and said, look, you're sending the signal that you're not paying attention to some of these rural communities. He was able to communicate with the White House's chief of staff. It shouldn't be very reassuring for the citizens who are hoping for and waiting on aid. And you know, again, just another instance of where they have failed us resoundingly and honestly don't care about it. They'd much rather talk about the longshoreman and dock worker strike coming to an end and how they somehow were able to coordinate that, even though more than likely they were. So the optics weren't portrayed in a negative sight running up to the election. The release of new BS from the DC led case by Jack Smith in the courtroom of Judge Chungus and all the other stuff that's inconsequential to the campaign right now that you see filling up the news cycle. JD Vance was on the ground yesterday, touring some of the damage out in rural Virginia and you know, had some words for the press and talked about quite honestly the spirit of the citizens there who have kind of rallied in the face of such adversity. And in a lot of instances we're seeing cases of real perseverance that's here. I know that, you know, we're of course in the middle of a political campaign. I think that one thing I've heard consistently from the governor is that FEMA has provided a lot of resources and of course we're very grateful to that. But I also think that talking to people just on the ground today but also talking to the governor, this is a community that has long been left behind by the leadership of this country, people who have been forgotten, people who have been ignored, people who have been judged despite the fact that they are the nicest people in the world. I gave the mayor a hug and I was talking to somebody else along with the mayor and she said, "We're hillbillies and we're proud of it." And I think this community shows you why people are proud of Appalachian values. They're resilient, they're strong, they love their neighbors and they're going to rebuild this community I believe better than what it was before and that's because of their incredible resilience and the incredible grace of the community of Damascus. I'm proud to be here, I'm proud that I got my Damascus hat and most importantly, I'm just rooting for the people of this region, not just here in Virginia but of course all across the country, North Carolina and Tennessee and Georgia and Florida who were affected by this terrible story. You know and if it gets to the point where we honestly have to wait until after January 20th of 2025 to get some of the big work moving in the directions of these communities who want to get their lives back together, those who have lost everything including material possessions and family members, it's going to be unfortunate but it's something that I'm assured Donald Trump will be looking to tackle as part of his day one agenda. He's going to be back down in the disaster area next week, this time heading to North Carolina and you know before we get into our first station identification there was one other piece of information not related to the hurricane but circling back to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. You know one of the things that kind of worried me in the wake of this storm was its close proximity to election day and the fact that Donald Trump and Governor Kemp haven't done anything together yet aside from you know give commentary to the press and post about each other on social media. I really do fail as them doing together FaceTime is going to be a critical aspect of ensuring that Donald Trump wins the peach state on November 5th. There are just too many people who love their governor and are MAGA adjacent for us to leave that stone unturned but I did see in a press release that came out yesterday from the office of President Trump and his election campaign. Here's the headline President Donald J. Trump and Governor of Georgia Brian Kemp to deliver remarks together to the press in Evans Georgia. Donald J. Trump the 45th president of the United States and the governor of Georgia Brian Kemp will visit Evans Georgia to receive a briefing on the devastation of Hurricane Helene and deliver remarks together to the press on Friday, October 4th, 2024 at 3.45 p.m. eastern and then it gives the location of the Columbia Performing Arts Center where it's going to happen and again reiterates the fact that Donald Trump and Brian Kemp are going to be delivering remarks together. Now is this them rallying together? No. But is this going to be a confirmation of someone who might have been critical of Donald Trump in the past? Now praising the leadership he's shown in the face of this tragedy? I hope so. Will it be the start of something that we see in greater context and like I already kind of let in with Donald Trump having a rally in Georgia at some time over the next four weeks and Brian Kemp joining him at one of those rallies to really seal the deal for America first we'll see but I think it's big and I think it's again just like it was with them praising each other via the press just as it was with them you know Donald Trump putting out like that love letter post on truth social saying how you know everything's good and he's great. It's a step in the right direction and one that we have to take because we're running out of time. It's unfortunate when events like this kind of clog up the cycle but the way we power through it is to number one be there and mean it. And number two work together to get to some solutions for the people who are greatly affected by it. Sean right now there are 157 hotels in New York City that are completely full of illegal immigrants let me just repeat that number 150 hotels in New York City that are completely full of illegal immigrants New York City alone spends over a billion dollars a year on illegal immigrants and then you see these pictures of husbands and wives and children who have lost everything their homes have floated down rivers their homes have been taken out by mudslides their vehicles are gone their picture albums are destroyed every sentimental value that they could ever possibly imagine is is gone you know we'll never be brought back and what does Kamala do she comes out and offers seven hundred and fifty dollars seven hundred fifty the TV in the person's house was more than seven hundred fifty dollars and you see the the absolute destruction Sean of all the political things that I've seen in the last decade this is the one that bothers me the most hands down by far we have spent two hundred billion dollars sending money over to Ukraine and Russia to see young innocent twenty one year old kids in dirty trenches pop around corners and shoot each other in the face with a K-47 you watch these videos on YouTube the lives are expunged in a matter of seconds two hundred billion dollars America has sent over there yet we can't take care of our own in Georgia and North Carolina and Virginia and Florida seven hundred and fifty dollars we send billions to places like Pakistan and they won't tell us that bin Laden is literally living next to their equivalent of West Point yet we offer devastated families the very people you're showing on the screen right now you we offer devastated family seven hundred and fifty dollars Sean this is the worst administration the history of the country these aren't serious people frankly I think they're cruel people the way they put Americans last is absolutely cruel and I hope every single person going to the polls on November 5th and before in early voting we'll remember exactly who these people are great points you know one that I could even tack on there Congress appropriated and we have sent over nearly forty billion dollars in taxpayer funds to the Taliban in Afghanistan this year so you know you want to talk about funds going to Pakistan funds going to places other than where it's needed for citizens who need it here in this country I mean look in this economy seven hundred and fifty dollars is like one trip to the grocery store for a family of four or five and maybe three or four dinners out at a restaurant coming in you know the face of adversity where you may have lost homes loved ones both or more kind of a drop in the bucket to what Americans really need right now Stephen Miller former top advisor during Donald Trump's first term in office followed Eric Trump and again Eric and Laura live in the Carolinas so they're down there they're out there helping in the best way they can I saw Laura Trump was with I believe Tulsi Gabbard earlier this week they were leading some of the relief efforts down there and you know leaders lead and that is what it looks like but we're not seeing it from the people who are in control right now especially when it comes to the power over the purse and when you hear some of the things regarding the number of illegals who have come into this country under Joe Biden Kamala Harris and where a lot of this money has gone especially for those that are traditionally set aside for things like relief disaster well he's Stephen Miller hammering the point home Sean this is the gravest betrayal of American citizens this country has ever seen the reason why those Americans in North Carolina those mothers those fathers those precious little children were left to die were left on rooftops begging begging their government for help that never came is because Kamala Harris turned FEMA into an illegal alien resettlement agency its manpower its dollars its resources its mental energy was spent over the last four years learning how to do one thing how to get illegal aliens from outside the country into your town and so when disaster struck they were not ready they were not prepared they were not capable and they did not care and our fellow citizens including babies children young kids were left to suffer and drown they did not scramble the helicopters they did not scramble the military they did not send needed assistance but if those children have been living in a foreign country they've been living in Haiti or they've been living in Venezuela why then Kamala Harris would have sent in help immediately a betrayal like we've never seen before Sean this is infuriating and something we've been talking about here for a long time others who are talking about it even before us and you can't make this shit up but now and again in such a digital age you can't hide it after his campaign event to where he delivered remarks to supporters in a second on Michigan yesterday news nation caught Donald Trump he was coming off stage for a little bit of a Trump's exclusive interview I believe they had him for about 13 minutes one of the questions he was asked and after the events of this week it kind of unfolded was what do you think about there being no FEMA money left and the government Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' response people like Alejandro Mayorkas and their complicity in the top to bottom failure that this was let's hear Donald Trump weighing on it right now we're up to more than 200 people dead from Hurricane Helene I'm sure you saw yesterday DHS says FEMA doesn't have enough money to last hurricane season what's your reaction to hearing that well they're doing a very bad job they've given over a billion dollars to illegal migrants that came in and now they have no money for North Carolina for Georgia for South Carolina and Alabama, Tennessee and Florida I think that's a disgrace this is a country that's being run by fools it certainly is and we've just laid out for you over the course of our opening new segment exactly why and then you have to ask yourself when the optics look so bad on this when people are coming out of the disaster zone and saying like you know I was on the roof with my family and it collapsed I was able to get back to higher ground but my elderly relative or my small child or baby I watched them drown in front of me and then float away it might take months if not longer to recover all the bodies that are still stuck in the middle of this right now and you know outside of the longshoreman and dock workers strike coming to a pause there had to be something interjected into the news cycle it happens all the time Donald Trump's debates against Joe Biden Kamal Harris major pieces of news that you'll see just kind of spring up they wanted to look organic but it looks very staged and telegraphed every single time Donald Trump or JD Vance or his team go above and beyond for the American people even while running a campaign for president and again we weren't disappointed as Wednesday we saw this break across the newswire let's check it out that's some breaking news we're going to get to now Jack Smith election interference case against Donald Trump well the judge John judge in DC Tonya Chuck and just unsealed the special councils 165 page redacted motion on presidential immunity joining us now MSNBC legal correspondent Lisa Rubin it is 165 pages we've had it for all of I think four minutes we obviously haven't been able to go through all of it still this was what we thought would be sort of a mini trial here is the evidence we have against Donald Trump in regards to what happened to 2020 is there anything so far that is jumping out to you now that we didn't know about before today oh kitty one of the things that I would just point out is that we obviously know who the government thinks Donald Trump's most important co-conspirators are in this indictment there is a description of six co-conspirators the majority of whom have been definitively identified before that having been said one of the things that pops out to me immediately is how many people here are identified just by P numbers meaning they're not people alleged to be co-conspirators but they are people who are alleged witnesses or participants in the event and there are so many of them that even on page 13 which is as far as I've gotten there's a reference to P 76 meaning there are at least 76 people listed in this description this detailed recitation of the facts that the government wants Judge Chutkin to see relevant to her immunity determinations that we know are involved here and many of these people are people who came from the campaign world that's the other thing that jumps out to me immediately is just the identification of so many people from the former president's campaign who were involved in what the government is now describing as purely private activity designed to ensure that he remained in office that matters because for purposes of fulfilling the Supreme Court's mandate in terms of immunity anybody who worked for the campaign alone and never was a member of executive branch staff those contacts between them are according to the government fair game and should be fair game according to the Supreme Court as well which recognize there is a realm of private conduct that could be within chargeable conduct shut up silly woman people are deranged so there you have it excerpts essentially the blueprint that Jack Smith is using to keep this like a forever war forever trial in the news cycle one that is gone after Donald Trump wins the election on November 5th hopefully but one that will continue to be put in the face of low propensity low IQ casual followers of politics between now and election day you know saying how Donald Trump this is again without saying he's a threat to democracy saying he's a threat to democracy much like the Democrats now instead of saying he's a threat to democracy when they're asked about Donald Trump being a threat to democracy they fall back on well let's look at the facts let's go back to January 6th and they kind of lay out that whole narrative that he led an insurrection that you know he physically did all the things with his bare hands that they said happened on that day like Donald Trump himself physically assaulted 140 law enforcement officials that people died in the wake of January 6 only because of Donald Trump's interactions that he sat in the White House throwing cheeseburgers and ketchup packets at the walls watching it unfold in real time on TV while posting about it on Twitter after he beat up two secret service agents in the beast and tried to comment here the vehicle to take him to the Capitol so he could physically lead the insurrection so stupid as is their narrative as is everything they do but again this is where we're at and this is what we're going to be dealing with for the next four weeks so we have to be able to push back on the best way we can Donald Trump followed this obvious election interference with posts on his social media account I have pulled a couple of them and I'm going to read them to you right now before you know I don't even think we touched on our guest list today which is something that again is my fault but we have to dive into before we jump in with our first guest Georgia Congressman Mike Collins we've got a trio of them on today we'll also be catching up for the first time since his new appointment to the head of the freedom caucus with Dr. Andy Harris from Maryland's first congressional district one of our great friends it's been a while since he's been on the show but we are going to have a fantastic conversation with him speaking of fantastic conversations we always have one with the congressman who's representing Virginia six and that's Representative Ben Klein and then the president of the conservative caucus someone who formerly was the chief of staff up on Capitol Hill knows a little something about something about the way Congress works Jim Paff will be joining us so great guests line up here on the first of two big Friday additions to stake for breakfast before we jump in with our first guest let's look at some of these true social posts from Donald Trump Democrats are weaponizing the Justice Department again because they know I am winning and they are desperate to pop up their failing candidate Kamala Harris the DOJ pushed out the latest hit job today because JD Vance humiliated Tim Walsh last night in the debate the DOJ has become nothing more than the extension of Joe and now Kamala's campaign this egregious prosecutorial misconduct should not have been released right before the election the Democrat Party is turning America into a third world country that tries to center harass intimidate their political opponents what they have done to our justice system is one of the great all-time tragedies the Democrat Party is guilty of the worst election interference in American history they are trying to destroy our democracy allowing millions of people to enter the country illegally they are determined to stop us from winning back the White House sealing the border and of course making America great again but they will fail and we will save our nation that was the first one I think I have one more standby real quick before we jump in with Congressman Collins because you know some of the things Donald Trump pointed out he'll hit him on the campaign trail as well yeah I do have this one right here for 60 days and prior to the election the Department of injustice is supposed to be doing absolutely nothing that would taint or interfere with the case they disobeyed their own rule in favor of a complete and total election interference I did nothing wrong they did the case is a scam just like all the others including the documents case which was recently dismissed and then one more the release of this falsehood written unconstitutional J6 brief immediately following Tim Walsh's disastrous debate performance and 33 days before the most important election in the history of our country is another obvious attempt by the Harris Biden regime to undermine and weaponize American democracy and interfere in the 2024 presidential election deranged Jack Smith the handpicked prosecutor of the Harris Biden DOJ and Washington DC based radical left democrats are hell bent on continuing to weaponize the justice department in an attempt to cling to power Trump is dominating the election cycle leading in the polls and the radical democrats through the deep state are totally freaking out this entire case is partisan unconstitutional a witch hunt that should be dismissed entirely just like the Florida case was so that's what Donald Trump was feeling some sort of way via his true social accounts uh this week you know listen we kind of laid it out there for you you decide on whose response was better Donald Trump and JD Vance or Joe Biden and Kamala Harrison regards to uh the response to Hurricane Helene who won the debate we'll be looking at that in our next new segment and then we'll get you caught up on all the rest of the headlines and stuff that's going down as we're getting ready to jump in with Georgia Congressman Mike Collins right now but before we do that first check in one of our partners this episode of the podcast is brought to you as always by man rubs rubs barbecue tools blow torches t-shirts coffee cups and all around barbecue related gear for you to make barbecue great again can be found at manrubs.com on instagram manrubs use a code stake 15 to 15 percent off your order all right joining us first on the show today he's the congressman who represents Georgia's 10th congressional district always glad to catch up with congressman Mike Collins welcome back to the show man it's good to be back on with y'all how you've been doing we've been doing good but better than the people of Georgia Mike and that's where I kind of want to start today you know we're seeing these numbers come out the death tolls in the wake of hurricane helene the absolute destruction that's happened down there in the american southeast listen you've been at the forefront been very much out there and making your presence felt trying to get relief trying to get people to safety doing a lot of reporting from the ground and if we could start there just what the whole experience has been like you know in the wake of the hurricane and then collaborating in events with president trump former senator kelly lawflare franklin gram this week give our listenership an update on what's going on in the peach state well as you know we're not really used to thinking about hurricanes especially not far as far up in off the coast is zion you know we'll get a tornado we'll get some bad weather but a lot of this is is coming because there was so much rain that was dumped north of us and the little county where i live you know we have jackson lake there and and it has been filled to the brim and i know they have been doing everything they can to to not push the water on further down south this thing hit and uh no one was really able to prepare too much for that we were very fortunate you know uh in my district it's the damage starts on the very tip of the eastern side of it and uh rick alan congressman rick alan his uh his district uh which includes a gusta i really got pounded hard and uh they lost a lot of trees a lot of down power lines that and that's been a lot of the problem you know we went down and met with the president trump in in valdosta i've never been in a situation where i'm driving to a facility and you're just driving across down power lines i mean they're just laying across the road so that's how many were down i think there were a thousand power poles that were down just in valdosta alone uh it's just incredible the amount of uh of wind damage and uh i guess it had to be tornadoes that came through uh during the middle of night and of course if you deal with that now we're dealing with the water it's coming out well crazy and what was it like to be out there with president trump and senator lawfler and franklin glam this week listen optics or everything leaders lead you were out there the president was out there and he beat again much like in the case of east palestine ohio what happened in the wake of the afghanistan yeah draw a beat joe biden and kamala harris to the punch and showed the american people the people of georgia in the entire region what real leadership looks like well of course and they and they and they saw that uh the crowds were were really big down valdosta um and you know i think people just wanted to to be acknowledged you know what i mean it sometimes there's comfort and and somebody just coming by and somebody with his stature and uh president trump that just uh you could see that the people really appreciated that that somebody was just recognizing that these folks went through a terrible thing and they're still in a terrible thing yeah and uh so you know and of course being there with uh Reverend Graham uh the man is uh you know it comes from a legendary family he's doing an incredible job with samaritan's purse and actually you know samaritan's purse was right there in boom which is right there with ashville so they are they i heard one of the young ladies said they never thought that they would be doing that they would relief work in their own backyard like they are no it's it's the truth and the work that he's done with samaritan's purse we'll have that live link in the show description today as well Mike it's been absolutely critical and pivotal we we had uh congressman yeah tim birch it on the show this week he also referenced them and that charity and it seems like they're at the forefront of doing the job that uh georgians need and that everybody in the affected region needs right now i think it's a prime example of where faith-based where your churches need to be back involved and and the federal government needs to have less of a role that is a prime example of somebody that saw them need immediately uh that did that didn't take an act of federal government to even begin to to assume assistance you know right there was two uh there's two private people in in my district probably 40 minutes from my house that have been flying their own personal helicopters back and forth uh multiple times a day i think one of them went out went in sams and practically purchased everything in the as far as water and goods he could take over there to help relieve give these people some relief and this was last week you know this was this was when it's all started hitting and over the weekend and into monday and tuesday and the federal government wasn't there uh you know it's just it's a great example of how we need to get back to to letting uh private people and and these organizations these charitable organizations really do their job like taking you know that's an excellent point and clears up a lot of questions i might have had on it um before we segue to the mismanagement and unprepared us level of the federal government like i do want to ask one more question you know i'm watching on the big screen right now president trump and governor camp are set to do their first combined speaking engagement since the 2020 presidential election cycle now listen their relationship has been anything but smooth but it's been smoothed out over the course of the last couple months where they both overtly have kind of endorsed each other and in support of each other knowing how critical this upcoming november election is what does it mean not just for the people of georgia in the wake of such a tragedy like hurricane helene but for the overall electorate and the news cycle right now for donald trump and governor camp to be out there doing events together well you know this is the way and and i know governor kip i've known it for a long time and and i don't know president trump personally but but i do know it and and you've got two good solid strong leaders and uh and so when they have a different sort of opinion they they you know but they work it out they have worked it out huh unfortunately in today's world with social media it's 24/7 and people like to get into that but you've got two good strong leaders and for them to show up together now to be one and lock step to talk about what needs to be done not just in georgia in north carolina and and the upper portion of the tendency up there but across this country that shows you how important this election is uh you know if this is uh the everybody says the real election is most important one but but i cannot emphasize enough uh just haven't been in congress for 20 months and what i've been seeing in that swamp up there of how bad we need to make sure that trump gets back in that white house and that we add to the majority in the house and we flipped that senate so it's great to see them i you know i i kind of figured they would uh i'm glad they did and uh by god it's time to kick but no it certainly is and i'm in i'm in the delegation of u mic i think anything that they could do together collaboratively and on the same page is a win not just for the people who are suffering in the wake of this disaster but we're looking forward to getting things changed so we can avoid things like this which is where i want to kind of segue to next listen the lack of response joe biden stayed up in delware last weekend he got kind of bitter and argued that he was on the phone for hours in the wake of this hurricane and the destruction that it caused in the american south east you had kamala harris who was doing speaking events and fundraisers out in california and las vegas we're also finding out today she recorded a podcast over the course of the weekend instead of making her way out to the american south east and surveying the damage as the vice president should be doing in the wake of such a tragedy and then you have all a hundred mayorkas the man who's funneled more money to facilitate the easy life for illegals in this country and having it on hand in a case where you have such a massive disaster like hurricane helene and now this is just another case where he is completely in over his head and has nothing that he could do within his power except maybe calling congress back to vote for more funding to be able to send relief to these families in the time of need talk about the mismanagement of government you alluded to it a little bit but kind of break it down a little bit how bad of a situation is steaming in right now and how bad is it uh you know from the leadership aspect coming from the biden harris administration no sure they they don't have enough money for another hurricane if the middle one hits you know and and the problem is they've been spending that money on illegal aliens uh you know that i know the news has been recording the figures out there it's just astronomical what they spent to keep these these illegal aliens in our country and keep them up and and it's not just steaming now you know we we've had uh we've got a veterans uh the the entrance health care over there that fund has been depleted because they've been spending money that belongs to to take care of our veterans to use for the health care for illegal aliens and now there won't more money to to take care of our veterans it's it's every day every week there's something new coming out where these people have moved the budget numbers around and and massage them so that they could put money into their socialistic policies that they're pushing and and that's bringing these people across illegally and getting them into this country so that one day they can make voters out of them and make sure that they secure that their position in power forever and uh you know so so who knows what it'll be next week yeah who know it seems like there's a disaster on the forefront every single week for this administration and you're probably right as america kind of holds their breath heading into the weekend um you know but before we get there i do want to talk about something that went down this week it was the vice presidential debate a master class by jade advanced delivered introduced to some for the american people who might not have known what he is where he stands policy-wise uh you know where he stands philosophically and how he kind of handled the standard republican three-on-one versus both debate moderators and the candidate that was there but when you talk about being unprepared i mean governor tim wals look like he just didn't care what the answers would be or what they would hold him to account for because i mean he just really didn't have any kind of adequate comeback for anything that jade advanced was laying out especially the fact that uh he couldn't answer on whether americans are better off after the last four years and why haven't they changed all the things they're proposing that they would do on day one of a potential Kamala Harris administration having watched a debate or at least seen highlights of it like how do you think the vice presidential nominee did i think donald trump pretty much uh breast assured a lot of america who might have had questions about jade advanced getting tapped to be the pick but uh i i think he did a great job and i just kind of want to hear how you saw check out oh amen brother you know and and i said from the get go haven't been able to meet jade or senator vance when he was actually running in a while and hearing him speak and just just how how he can methodically lay things out and make it so clear uh which is what he did on on that debate stage but when i look back on it i see the same thing that the democrats probably set walls up with a with a list of one liners yep and we want you to hit this one liner and this we don't care about the question this is what you're going to keep pounding on just to try to ruffle this guy's feathers and get him upset and it didn't work and after a while he has no what are you gonna you can't say you're one liners we're actually debating policy and the guy's actually doing it very clear and uh you know and making good points and he's not being absurd not being ugly so it looks like we've got an actual debate going on and unfortunately the democrat was not prepared for it uh at least what they prepared for was was not uh their actual policy and what they believe in and then when you see the way that this week has kind of shook up the fact that donald trump and jadey vancer in north carolina and george jade but they're all going to be heading up to both butler pennsylvania for donald trump's return to the place where he was nearly assassinated on july 13th he's going to be joined by a lot of critical figures in america first in this election cycle in addition to special guests like rfk jr and elan musk when you talk about that unity the widening of the tent the inclusion of all americans not just those in the republican party that donald trump is looking to bring as he's going to finish his campaign rally up in butler this weekend mike what can you say about the state of the race right now just 32 days from election day and what could you encourage our listenership to do as we're navigating through this cycle and early voting has started in a lot of the critical battleground states already well this is what i would say i've been saying it for months the crowds have been bigger the the excitement has been bigger uh people are energized and when you see people taking line from his businesses he had to get involved with this sure didn't have to step in at all but he sees the direction of this country and and he doesn't want to see it continue down the path of the tent when you see people like that that step up um i think it just adds more energy and more fire to what's going on with the electric out here and and the biggest thing that we tell people and i don't think we have to go around and convince people that that the inflation is higher than gas is too high and you can't afford the groceries that rent or buy a house for the we don't have to do that what we've got to do right now is tell them what time it is and it's time to go vote you know what we're up here in Maine right now in the second progression on this year just just got through with the meeting with lobsterman up here and their early voting starts on october the night which is a sunday so i'm sure they won't be able to vote till the tent right but we just need to keep hammering home wherever you're at because every state's a little different and how their early voting is and and make sure that people understand if you because i've had a few people say i'm just so tired of these texts and these these emails go vote because as soon as you go vote they're going to know it and the trump administration will move on and and your congressional candidates will move on to people that haven't voted yet and get them to go vote but please get out there and vote early as early as you can because if we we we got to win this thing so that blame big that they can't rig it this time absolutely great advice and listen from someone who's been running around the country he said it a couple hits ago when he joined us on the show he's going to be everywhere between now and election day making sure we retain that house majority that we're flipping the senate back into republican troll and obviously that donald trump's going to be getting back to the white house uh in january of next year mike we've got everything live linked in the show description today but anybody that wants to check out on social media where can they find you i'm astounded mike columns g_a you can get that across in social media you won't absolutely fantastic as it is anytime we can catch up with the congressman who's representing georgia ten mike thanks for joining us on the show today sir please have a great weekend appreciate hey y'all so thanks for having me i want to actually give an introduction of myself a little bit because i recognize a lot of americans don't know who either one of us are i was raised in a working-class family my mother required food assistance for periods of her life my grandmother required social security help to raise me and she raised me in part because my own mother struggled with addiction for a big chunk of my early life i went to college on the gi bill after i enlisted in the marine corps and served in iraq and so i stand here asking to be your vice president with extraordinary gratitude for this country for the american dream that made it possible for me to live my dreams and most importantly i know that a lot of you are worried about the chaos in the world and the feeling that the american dream is unattainable i want to try to convince you tonight over the next ninety minutes that if we get better leadership in the white house if we get donald trump back in the white house the american dream is going to be attainable once again all right i jump back into the news portion of the show here today and as always it's great kitchen up with congressman mike colons great friend of the show someone we've tracked since he originally ran for office while at least at the national level he's been heavily involved in north carolina conservative politics for a very long time uh but for yeah i'm this is the third cycle i believe we're we're caught up with them now so listen again you have to be able to provide leadership in the face of all the adversity that the american southeast has incurred over the course of the last week and half now and and people like congressman mike colons uh joining donald trump kelly lawflare franklin graham out in georgia the other day it's something that a lot of people haven't done yet and we're really appreciative when he could take he's heavily involved in the rescue and relief efforts down there and for him to take some time out and share with our listenership today i i want to just reiterate our appreciative level with him and uh again glad to catch up with him on this big friday edition of the show so we're going to look at our vice presidential debate recap right now uh no one stepped out for a second he'll be joining us again in just a bit but yeah this was a woodshed moment for america first this was a confirmation of something that we've talked about on the show for a very long time that's jd bance's ability to dominate the debates uh the man's brilliant what can you say he doesn't take the bait on a lot of the you know ways of either the moderator or tim waltz was going to be looking to trigger him and if anybody needed any more confirmation or or was maybe being introduced at a national level to jd bance for the first time on whether or not donald trump's gonna have a check and balance um in the office of the vice president next year someone who's going to be in the room with him making the most difficult decisions and presiding over of congress as the president there i think a lot of questions were answered and the tent might have even been widened a little bit more after this debate again the format was just absolutely ridiculous for republicans thinking they were going to walk into and have any kind of a fair and reasonable debate uh the moderators were you know tasked with not getting into it with the candidates obviously both of the ones here on cbs news got into it with jd bance they were also both tasked with not fact checking in real time i've got at least two instances where jd bance had to refute them and fact check back in real time as well and for the way he was able to navigate this in the dominating fashion i mean tim waltz just was completely unprepared there's a reason why they're not doing press right now him and democrat presidential candidate come all harris and it's for reasons like you'll see throughout the course of this next news segment jd bance was also going to heavily hit on the biden harris administration's terrible response to what happened after hurricane haleen and that's the next clip we're going to listen to let's check it out let's start with the hurricane because it's an unbelievable unspeakable human tragedy i just saw today actually photograph of two grandparents on a roof with a six-year-old child and it was the last photograph ever taken to them because the roof collapsed and those innocent people lost their lives and i i'm sure governor waltz joins me and saying our hearts go out to those innocent people our prayers go out to them and we want us robust and aggressive as a federal response as we can get to save as many lives as possible and then of course afterwards to help the people in those communities rebuild i mean there's communities that i love some of them i know very personally and apalachia all across the southeast they need their government to do their job and i commit that when donald trump is present again the government will put the citizens of this country first when they suffer from a disaster jd bance would be on the ground in virginia the next day surveying the damage and helping with the relief efforts there so as you can clearly see he came clear cut concise and ready to throw down it just seems like when you look at what tim waltz was bringing to the table and again we talked about it in our tuesday edition of the show the media after you know those convenient leaks from the paris waltz campaign had been putting out that you know to governor waltz is not a master debater uh see what i did there he's also you know a little bit nervous as he's not a great public speaker as well i mean this is someone that i believe had four re-elections to congress in addition to his time as governor of the state of wisconsin i mean how can you not public speak it's easy to public speak when you're talking about pronouns or legal aliens or weaponizing crime against american citizens i guess it's not so much when when your records being taken to task and not even the moderators can save you in some of the most extreme senses of the measure you know jade advanced but then quickly segue as their topics did with the crisis down on the u.s southern border there's no way to avoid this one they didn't talk about some things you know they brought up threats to democracy they brought up january sixth they brought up whether or not donald trump thought or felt like he really won the 2020 presidential election and what would you do in the face of him asserting the same thing this year but they didn't want to talk about the war in ukraine they didn't really want to talk about israel being left out to dry although they did touch and i ran a little bit but when they saw that jade advanced was going to talk about how joe biden and kabal harris have re-empowered them they quickly segue to it they did want to talk about abortion you know and it's all the things that aren't important to the american public as they're getting ready to cast their votes many across the country are already doing so now that uh you know they just don't want to talk about those big issues for everybody but when it came down to the you know unavoidable elven in the room and that's the disaster down the u.s southern border and what it's done and meant for the country since joe biden and kamala harris took office well jade advanced is going to be up to the task again let's hear it so first of all Margaret before we talk about deportations we have to stop the bleeding we have a historic immigration crisis because kamala harris started and said that she wanted to undo all of donald trump's border policies 94 executive orders suspending deportations decriminalize illegal aliens uh massively increasing the asylum fraud that exists in our system that has opened the floodgates and what it's meant is that a lot of fit and all is coming into our country i had a mother who struggled with opioid addiction and has gotten clean i don't want people who are struggling with addiction to be deprived of their second chance because kamala harris let in fit and all into our communities at record levels and again we've pointed it out in extent here on the show when the government allows the number of people to come into this country that have over the course of the last nearly four years now it's so much easier for the cartels to be able to get things like fit and all in here as well uh because all the people that are tasked with defending our borders that's border patrol and customs ice and all the agencies in between are now tasked with processing millions of illegal migrants every year and doing all the things they need to make sure that they're not going to get in trouble for providing inhumane relief as as comical as that sounds and with the inability they have to do anything for the american citizens within the borders of this state and it's the agencies that are tasked with protecting it who are the ones that are just getting overworked and overran by the biden harris migrant crisis um he would also segue right to making sure he tagged kamala harris with being the borders are and touch on the fact that you know it's one of the biggest news items right now where are the over 300 000 children that the department of homeland security now says they've lost track of that have come into this country i guarantee the number is way higher it might even be double because when you're talking about let's just say donald trump's assertions that over 20 million people have come in but even go for a lower number 10 million i i definitely think when you just look at the way the equation shapes up the fact that people i mean jd ranch touched on the asylum fraud there a big component of it is creating fake family units that's like you know when a smuggler will take a single male or female and attach a couple children who aren't theirs to them and say when you get to the border say this is your family um and and where these kids have gone whether it's to all of the corrupt NGOs who operate on this side of the border the charities who send these kids out to sponsor families who just milk money off the government to have as many kids as possible in their home or even the worst things working in factories working in manual labor or working in the sex trade unfortunately if not facing death and uh you know when you when you talk about how the media is shying away from this issue uh much like they did with the amount of criminal aliens that have been led in the country right now which i again the numbers are astronomical but i think they're higher jd ranch would be hitting come all harris and tim waltz on where the kids let's check it out final point Margaret is you ask about family separation right now in this country market we have 320 000 children that the department of homeland security has effectively lost some of them have been sex trafficking some of them hopefully are at homes with their families some of them have been used as drug trafficking mules the real family separation policy in this country is unfortunately Kamala Harris's wide open southern border and this issue having to do with the children isn't going to get any better anytime soon or at least until president trump can get back into office in january and he and jd vance can finally seal the u.s southern border and open up investigations into where these kids are and hopefully get an overwhelming majority of them back and send them back where they belong with their families where in some instances you know because they're used as props or as jd vance alluded to drug mules can be reunited with their families as they could have been forcefully removed from their homes in the third world you know and we'll hear some rebuttals and back and forths from tim waltz i'm just kind of laying the groundwork here for the strong message and tone that jd vance had during this debate for instance when the cbs moderators were talking about the mass deportations the family separations and the missing children and tim waltz went on this big elaborate like oh it has to be humane and oh you know for every million people you deport this many thousands or tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of americans lose their job which again it's not true it's a completely made up statistic i don't care if it was a think tank at george washington university or one of the more progressive ones it's just not factual and uh you know cbs would even have to rely back on their data and recent polling which suggests that an overwhelming majority of americans close to seventy percent support mass deportations especially after what's happened the last three plus years let's check it out and our what about our cbs news polling which does show that a majority of americans more than fifty percent support mass deportations look we fix this issue with a bill that is necessary but the issue on this is this is what happens when you don't want to solve it you demonize it and we saw this and and senator vance and it surprises me on this talking about and saying i will create stories to bring attention to this that vilified a large number of people who were here legally in the community of springfield the republican governor said it's not true don't do it there's consequences for this there's consequence we could come together send a link for did it we could come together and solve this if we didn't let donald trump continue to make it an issue and the consequences in springfield were the governor had to send state law enforcement to escort kindergarteners to school i believe senator vance wants to solve this but by standing with donald trump and not working together to find a solution it becomes a talking point and when it becomes a talking point like this we dehumanize and villainize other human beings there's just an absolute dumpster fire of an answer and you know what he's referencing um state law enforcement having to descend on springfield ohio that came in the wake of you know over 30 threats that were made to public offices public schools and hospitals but again we played the clip for you here on the show republican governor mike dewine came out and in an interview said that they were able to determine after research was done that all of the threats that were made to facilities in springfield ohio came from an outside entity outside of the united states they didn't say whether or not it was i ran or china or russia that was doing this but it definitely didn't come from supporters or voters of donald trump and jadey vance the media again and the moderators during this debate did nothing to fact check that did nothing to bring up exactly what happened and how it's already been debunked however when you talk about the narratives that were able to be pushed as you heard them going down that path that opened up the door to what donald trump and jadey vance have said it's happening in places like springfield ohio like arora colorado like el Paso texas like other cities in states like wisconsin and michigan and pennsylvania where you have these small rural towns 50 000 citizens or less that live there and then over the course of the last three plus years tens of thousands of migrants being dumped into the community and what it's done to absolutely destroy them um you know you can't take out of context the effect that is had on the labor market there the education system health care just buying goods and services in these small communities sometimes having to go outside of your town's boundaries to get them but for the ones that have let's just say stores that are you know the citizens there rely on for food and supplies being overwhelmed with tens of thousands of migrants uh the crime that they bring um the health concerns that they have and the inability that they're showing to assimilate in any way shape or form other than come with their hands out expecting free shit well that's to where jadey vance kind of got into a back and forth with tim waltz on the Haitian invasion in springfield ohio and when tim waltz was refuted by jadey vance saying how these people are here illegally which they are uh the moderators who were tasked with not fact checking in real time either of the candidates wanted to try and fact check jadey jadey vance to where he had to pull back and kind of unload on the moderators uh it'll be the first of at least two fact checks that i've got that show that jadey vance was not only ready for the moment uh but prepared with all of the talking points that were actually correct and he wanted to make sure that message got to the american people let's hear it and just to clarify for our viewers springfield ohio does have a large number of Haitian migrants who have legal status temporary protected status but thank you senator we have so much to get to i think it's important we're gonna come out of the economy thank you the rules were that you got the economy we're gonna fact check and since you're fact checking me i think it's important to say what's actually going on so there's an application called the c_b_p_ one app where you can go on as an illegal migrant apply for asylum or apply for parole and be granted legal status at the wave of a common here is the producer is one that is not a person coming in applying for green card waiting for ten years thank you senator rotation of a legal immigration margaret thank you senator for describing the legal process we have so much to get to senator those ones have been in the book since 1990 thank you gentlemen we want to have this not been on the books it's since 1990 it's something and the mics cut off gentlemen you're the audience can't hear you because your mics are cut we have so much we want to get to thank you for explaining the legal process you're a nasty person what a complete bitch and they know it's the truth you know a lot of these numbers they're skewed in both directions you have the migrants who are processed at the u_s_ southern border and they're distributed around the country which contributed to the rising numbers of illegal presence in these towns especially now more commonly in rural places across the united states but you also have the biden flight numbers those numbers don't connect in any way shape or form in the reportable data that's going out to the american people you know i saw one of the larger conservative accounts it's one of the trump grifters who you know they're in every single trump and beneficial and campaign surrogates first comment they get shared by people like elan musk and and all the other guys who are you know just kind of getting their feet wet on with what's accurate and what's not they put out a graph yesterday that showed like tens of thousands of people that have been added to these battleground states over the course of the last three plus years what i did was immediately look at those numbers and no those are the illegals that are coming in and getting distributed via the biden harris flight not the ones that are coming across the u_s_ southern border because they were so small in comparison to what has uh you know officially crossed whether it be ten or twelve fifteen or over twenty million people it just didn't make sense for like forty thousand to be dropped in michigan thirty thousand to be dropped in Wisconsin it's so much more than that uh we'll never know the numbers either and again the biggest game of hide and seek starts on january 21st of next year so buckle up uh sticking in the thread here though of what's fact checked and what's not you know fact check yeah well welcome back douah oh hi sorry uh we just played the clip where jd vans had gone in the epic back and forth with martha uh trying to fact check him on the legal status of the Haitians or lack thereof they have in this country uh jd vans talked about tps and how that was already ruled unconstitutional but the biden harris administration has decided to continue it consequently though there was an announcement this week so we all know that four country program which includes cuba benisuela and hady right the these people that are coming into the country on biden harris flights so they're not renewing tps for all of the people that they flown in and allowed across the border from venisuela as of november of this year so for the millions of people from those countries that are here up to five percent of venisuela's population what are we supposed to do with them now the the dhs link says that they're urging and encouraging those people that are currently enjoying tps to head out to their nearest asylum office and apply for an alternative route through the immigration system how do you think that's going to work now uh fantastically i don't think so it's it's a disaster and they know it they they've completed their goal of destabilizing so much of this country uh all the different components that aren't getting better you know and again donald trump always circles back to immigration it's because every single thing of the democrats are offering everything that they've destroyed for the last nearly four years that they are claiming that they can now fix on day one is essentially unfixable under their policies because of the illegals who are here and enjoying the same benefits that even more so than american citizens do what do you think when you said more so than american citizens that just sounds like par for the course for everything that's going on right now the second fact check came in the form of the abortion conversation that came up you know they're trying to get jd vance to talk about his past stances what his stance was during the 2022 mid-term election cycle when he ran for the u.s. senate in ohio um how president trump's stance is or might have changed over the course of the last eight years that he's been in the political arena etc you know they circled back and using his example this girl i believe it was in georgia her name was amber Thurman she recently died from complications with abortion medications she didn't die her death had nothing to do with services being refused with doctors being so scared that they were going to go to jail if they performed any kind of the services on her uh that they let her you know bleed out in a parking lot like they always like to kind of elude to well jd vance was well prepared as tim waltz and comal harris have both used this instance out on the campaign trail and when they tried to fact check him on it he was ready to blast back let's tear it senator may respond to that first of all governor i agree with you amber Thurman should still be alive and there are a lot of people who should still be alive and i certainly wish that she was and maybe you're free to disagree with me on this and explain this to me but as i read the minnesota law that you signed into into into into law the statute that you signed into law it says that a doctor who presides over an abortion where the baby survives the doctor is under no obligation to provide life saving care to a baby who survives a botched late-term abortion that is i think whether pro-choice or pro-choice that is fundamentally barbaric and that's why i use that word nor is because some of what we've seen do you want to force catholic hospitals to perform abortions against their will because comala harris is supported suing catholic nuns uh... to violate their freedom of conscience we can be a big and diverse country where we respect people's freedom of conscience and make the country more pro-baby and pro-family but please but please go off of your platform or an actual law that you signed as the governor uh... i found it and i'm gonna check it out right now no we could take a look at this first of all did you see the the headlines the doing headlines that went in and out of the debate this one from abc news why tuesday's vice presidential debate could matter more than history suggests subtitle in the matchup between vice president come on harris and former president donald trump the coming to debate between their running mates is the undercard that is uh... september 29th 2024 october 1st 2024 same outlet abc news national page top headline why vp debates aren't all that important sub headline historically they really haven't moved the needle or the polls i love it when they just absolutely destroy themselves in real time all right have they done the why being friends with school shooters is actually a good thing oh that's where we're going next uh you know but but when you talk about this law that tim waltz put into effect or or sign and again this comes in the face of do these people sometimes know everything that crosses their desk and why or what is in the bill you get these ridiculous packages that have come and you know sometimes there are hundreds if not thousands of pages long and whether or not it's like again the inflation non-reduction act was a guy's forward the green new scam and you know a lot of people are referring back to that now as something that has been a millstone around the neck of kamal harris throughout the course of this entire election cycle and it's because that bill once it was signed her being the tie-breaking vote has been absolutely devastating for democrats as they try to rally on the economy you know they talked about donald trump being uh ready to sign a national abortion ban something that he said he never would do something that jd van said he believes donald trump would never do either donald trump actually jumped onto his twitter account as he was live commentating this in real time on his true social account and there were some absolute bangers of memes especially when the school shooter and being friends with them thing talking point dropped but here's donald trump from his twitter account during the vp debate everyone knows i would not support a federal abortion ban again this is in all caps under any circumstances and it wouldn't fact i would veto it because it is up to the states that decide based on their will of the voters in parentheses the will of the people like ronald reagan before me i fully support the big three rape incest and life of the mother i do not support the democrats radical position of late-term abortions like as an example in the seventh eighth or nine per month or in the case if there's any questions the possibility of execution of the baby after birth thank you for your attention on this matter and again two years ago tim wals did sign a law into effect that allowed babies to be left to die if they survive an abortion babies who were born alive so again no uh tim wals lied the media fact check jd vance and segway to things like national abortion ban and refusing care in some instances and then when jd vance pointed out the fact that there's a already signed into law statute on the books which allow for the atrocious things that you know republicans have accused democrats of doing or wanting to do in progressive states he denied that it was true he denied it was true and it's just and how do you refute that besides the fact that it's in writing i mean come on well you know they put out like a minor blurb the next day on their uh digital website they don't talk about it on any of their shows and they say you know abc news is very sorry we're sorry i'm sorry so sorry wait they said they were sorry about what that they misquoted or what well that the law is on the books and they weren't able to reference it during the debate really they actually admitted that well again in a hyperlink on their digital web page and not in like the form of leading into one of their nationally broadcast news shows about it like cbs nightly news would have been a shame there's not going to be another debate because then he could really harp on that but that's the reason why there won't be another debate well we'll we'll hear the the weirdest clip of the vice presidential debate right now let's check it out senator thank you governor you previously opposed an assault weapons ban but it's only later in your political career did you change your position why yeah i set in that office with us and you parents i've become friends with school shooters i've seen it look the nr a i was nr a guy for a long time they used to teach gun safety i'm of an age where my shotgun was in my car so i could fessent on after football practice i still don't understand what he was trying to say there i i honestly hope it was with the surviving victims of school shootings but i honestly think that this guy has made it in a case like let's just say you know they had that one down in florida what was it parkland where that you know they caught the guy at the park um maybe he's tried to in some context get to know and and be part of the rehabilitation process of some of these deranged psycho lunatics i have no idea again he was asked twice in 24 hours once in a bakery and then once when he got off of the plane at the next campaign stop following the debate and he didn't give an answer that refuted that he wasn't friends with school shooters and and i just don't understand why i mean no said it's because you know they're not allowed to speak unless they're told what to be spoken to about but it just makes no sense that have maybe he meant he was friends with people who people thought would be school shooters we've all we all know we all know a couple of those yeah that's true waltz has the eyes for school shooter certainly does um but you know they never went back to it and they just said that's not really a big deal like we could survive the memes um but yeah that's kind of one of the weirdest things i've ever heard in my life and again the waltz has campaign segueing to non hurricane disaster relief and all the other shit that's going on now just kind of water under the bridge they really don't care they would segue into the debate on things related to the economy talking about taxes tariffs and things of that nature let's hear what jade you've answered to say about that is president trump committed to the five thousand dollar per child tax credit that you have described you have one minute well what president trump said Margaret i just want to defend my running mate here a little bit is that we're going to be taking in a lot of money by penalizing companies for shipping jobs overseas and penalizing countries who employ slave laborers and then ship their products back into our country and undercut the wages of american workers it's the heart of the donald trump economic plan cut taxes for american workers and american families cut taxes for businesses that are hiring and building companies in the united states of america but penalize companies and countries that are shipping jobs overseas that's the heart of the economic proposal and i think what president trump is saying is that when we bring in this additional revenue with higher economic growth we're going to be able to provide paid family leave child care options that are viable and workable for a lot of american families again even though he went around it painting a broader picture he circles back and answers the question something tim waltz really couldn't accomplish throughout the course of this debate and when you look at what the i mean honestly the whole narrative based on the economy what has this administration done for middle-class americans for the hard-working blue collar the the heart and soul of this country nothing they've destroyed it and there's been a 90% change in the negative yeah yeah and uh you know whether it's your bank account or uh you know all the components of your life that you need to facilitate having a happy and healthy home it's been destroyed by this administration under the green new scam and the inflation non-reduction act and you know it's the middle-class voters especially in places like the rust belt and the sun belt blue wall states that are going to tip the scales in whichever way this election is going to go and there is no argument on two americans lives are not better they decided not to answer they decided to not even ask that question during the debate you know is americans lives better under kamal harris and joe biden because it's just a such a beat point now you know growing up in a middle-class family and talking about fake grandmas is apparently the answer that they all like to kind of segue back but when you talk about what tipped the scales in favor of jd vance as this would be an absolute win and there was no way to recover no you did see the one part of the debate where they asked him about as a youth where he was at certain times and where he says he's been at certain times did you say you'd hmm what do you think was he in Tiananmen Square apparently not no and you know being a knucklehead and misspeaking is is one thing but let's see what do we have on the lio meter we've got i was there on the date of Tiananmen Square but really i was just there during the protest months months the month after i was a command master sergeant not really nope also what else do we got yep i mean being friends with school shooters is the one thing i i believed oh it's terrible it was so bad let me let me pull up this clip right now of tim waltz not answering on whether or not he wasn't in Tiananmen Square when the incident was occurring before finally getting beaten submission and having to on national television say that he lied about it throughout the course of the many campaigns that he's ran over the years let's check it out governor walls you said you were in hong kong during the deadly Tiananmen Square protests in the spring of 1989 but minnesota public radio and other media outlets are reporting that you actually didn't travel to asia until august of that year can you explain that discrepancy yeah well into the folks out there it didn't get at the top of this look i i grew up in small rural nebraska uh town of 400 town that you rode your bike with your buddy still the streetlights come on and i'm proud of that service i joined the national guard at 17 worked on family farms and then i use the gi bill to become a teacher passionate about it a young teacher uh my first year out i got the opportunity in the summer of 89 to travel to china 35 years ago be able to do that i came back home and then started a program to take young people there we would take basketball teams we would take baseball teams we would take dancers and we would go back and forth to china the issue for that was was to try and learn now look my community knows who i am they saw where i was at they look i i will be the first to tell you i have poured my heart into my community i've tried to do the best i can but i'm not perfect and i'm a knucklehead at times but it's always been a lot of that those same people elected me to congress for 12 years and in congress i was a bipartisan people working on things like farm bills that we got done working on veterans benefits and then the people of minnesota were able to elect me to governor twice so look my commitment has been from the beginning to make sure that i'm there for the people to make sure that i get this right i will say more than anything many times i i will talk a lot i will get caught up in the rhetoric um but being there the impact it made the difference it made my life i learned a lot about china i hear the critiques of this i would make the case that donald trump should have come on one of those trips with that's right i guarantee you he wouldn't be uh praising she jing ping about covid and i guarantee you he wouldn't start a trade war that he ends up losing so this is about trying to understand the world it's about trying to do the best you can for your community and then it's putting yourself out there and letting your folks understand what it is my commitment would be through calendar which i was good at or whether it would be a good signature or it's being a good member of congress those are the things that i think are the values that people care about governor just to follow up on that the question was can you explain that no just referencing all they said on this was is i got there that summer and misspoke on this so i i will just that's what i've said you could have saved us three minutes so i was in answering that initially phone call in china during the democracy protest went in and from that it is very long that he has a long long long needed to be in government i don't know his lie though yeah he's still lying about it in real time yeah and then when you when you talk about uh you know the fact that he actually admitted it you got both of the moderators sitting there and you know how that what what they both had to say when he finally admits that he wasn't in Tiananmen square went when the you know infamous day happened oh baby oh my gosh it's so bad it's so it's like when you get you get busted in a line you're like well no i mean i would i mean i was though the the bar was open man the way he fumbled over himself for two and a half minutes was not as bad as like you said well no he was just he was just rehashing one of the rehearsed talking points that and and and that's the thing it's like i can only imagine with these things they have deflection talking points it's like okay so if you need to deflect from something you're going to use point a b and c and you're just going to loosely loop whatever you're talking about into that like well you know what i mean and they elected me to congress and then congress and veterans benefits yeah keywords loud noises boy it was terrible and the way i see it he wasn't expecting the follow-up and i oh my god so that's what sorry to interrupt you but that's the thing about this vp debate that people need to go and watch it because i think he thought he was going to get the same treatment that Kamala Harris got yep and i don't think they greased the right palms or maybe somebody had some fucking scruples that they pulled out of somewhere because the amount of times where he has we do little eyes darted to the moderators like aren't you guys gonna fucking save me right now wow it's very telling like the guy looked like he was about to blow a gasket the entire time yeah yeah i mean he's another real-life mr. Garrison materializing right before our eyes yeah you know he's right up there with Lindsey Graham and uh you know asked him while he's on the rope what else could jadey vans possibly do to even hammer them worse then he already had done for the entirety of the debate jadey vans goes down the path of talking about widening the tent for donald trump who is you know according to the democrats a threat to democracy an insurrectionist uh sexist racist misogynistic bigot you name it and there's an ist at the end of it donald trump has been labeled it over the course of the last near decade um but when you talk about bringing people under the tent like tulsi gabbard an rfk junior elan musk and people like that it's a winning talking point especially for those low propensity or on the fence voters and again there are very few people who don't know who they're voting for at this point i know we got to work harder than we ever have before to make sure everyone's registered we'll talk about the registration deadlines at the top of our next episode of stake for breakfast getting people out to the polls more than just yourself making sure the polls are as safe and secure as humanly possible and that's anything that we can do in addition to what didn't happen in the last election cycle but it's bringing in those people from outside of the maggotan people who were harsh critics of donald trump jadey vans included no one knows better on how to talk on this talking point than jadey vans because he was an rfk junior he was a tulsi gabbard he was an elan musk back in 2016 and when he goes down thanking them for widening the maggotan i think it's a winning talking point let's hear it would you again seek to challenge this year's election results even if every governor certifies the results i'll give you two minutes well noir first of all i think that we're focused on the future we need to figure out how to solve the inflation crisis caused by Kamala Harris's policies make housing affordable make groceries affordable and that's what we're focused on but i want to answer your question because you did ask it look what president trump has said is that there were problems in 2020 and my own belief is that we should fight about those issues debate those issues peacefully in the public square and that's all i've said and that's all that donald trump has said remember he said that on january the sixth the protesters ought to protest peacefully and on january the 20th what happened joe biden became the president donald trump left the white house and now of course unfortunately we have all of the negative policies that have come from the heres biden administration what wall to us like writing down so we actually do have a threat to democracy in this country but unfortunately it's not the threat to democracy that kamala harris and tim waltz want to talk about it is the threat of censorship it's americans casting aside lifelong friendships because of disagreements over politics it's big technology companies silencing their fellow citizens and it's kamala harris saying that rather than debate and persuade her fellow americans she'd like to censor people who engage in misinformation i think that is a much bigger threat to democracy than anything that we've seen in this country in the last four years in the last 40 years now i'm really proud especially given that i was raised by two lifelong blue collar democrats to have the endorsement of bobby kennedy jr and tulsi gabbard lifelong leaders in the democratic coalition of course they don't agree with me and donald trump on every issue we don't have to agree on every issue but we're united behind a basic american first amendment principle that we ought to debate our differences we ought to argue about them we ought to try to persuade our fellow americans kamala harris is engaged in censorship at an industrial scale she did it during covid she's done it over a number of other issues and that to me is a much bigger threat to democracy than what donald trump said when he said that protesters should peacefully protest on january this is more february the sixth depending on which focus group you're talking to yeah it's uh it's interesting to see uh you know and they had very little pushback for that and you know as we're getting ready to wrap the actual debate portion of this i think one of the strongest things we saw was jd vance's closing remarks they were each given i believe two minutes uh no rebuttals and you know tim moles for everything that he didn't bring to the table that night just kind of fumbled through hey listen uh we have the answer to everything we fucked up over the course the last four years we're sorry but don't worry about it because everything will be better uh they'll definitely be immigration reform especially if we lose congress and have no power to do so we'll bring down the cost of everything by giving out more free everything and uh and don't worry about the wars there's a like what are you guys talking about there's an ocean in between us and all the bad things that are happening so what could go wrong um jd vance on the other hand had a little bit more of the well we prepared statement as i'm watching him on the big screen right now he's campaigning in battleground lindale georgia while donald trump is in neighboring north carolina they're going to chris cross later today donald trump's doing a little hurricane relief damage surveying etc while jd vance is is holding out to our rally today again this is the head of donald trump's big return to butler pennsylvania tomorrow uh but again let's hear jd vance's closing statement as we didn't talk about was energy and i remember when i was being raised by my grandmother when she didn't have enough money to turn on the heat some nights because ohio gets pretty cold at night and because money was often very tight and i believe as a person who wants to be your next vice president that we are a rich and prosperous enough country where every american whether they're rich or poor ought to be able to turn on their heat in the middle of a cold winter night that's gotten more difficult thanks to kamala harris's energy policies i believe that whether you're rich or poor you ought to be able to afford a nice meal for your family that's gotten harder because of kamala harris's policies i believe that whether you're rich or poor you ought to be able to afford to buy a house you ought to be able to live in safe neighborhoods you ought to not have your communities flooded with fitinol and that too has gotten harder with kamala because of kamala harris's policies now i've been politics long enough to do what kamala harris does when she stands before the american people and says that on day one she's going to work on all these challenges i just listed she's been the vice president for three and a half years day one was fourteen hundred days ago and her policies have made these problems worse now i believe that we have the most beautiful country in the world i meet people on the campaign trail who can't afford food but have the grace and generosity to ask me how i'm doing and to tell me their plan for my family what that has taught me is that we have the greatest country the most beautiful country the most incredible people anywhere in the world but they're not going to be able to achieve their full dreams with the broken leadership that we have in washington they're not going to be able to live their american dream if we do the same thing that we've been doing for the last three and half years we need change we need a new direction we need a president who has already done this once before and did it well please vote for Donald trump and whether you vote for me or vote for tim wals i just want to say i'm so proud to be doing this and i'm rooting for you god bless you and good night he's evolving uh it's been a continuation as coming from someone that was you know again in interviews back in 2016 literally said donald trump just very well may be our modern day hiller to absolutely dominating the vp debate eight years later as his running mate um it says a lot for the kind of person donald trump is donald trump actually gave himself credit for the pick of jadie vance we'll hear that in our next new segment which will be the first one of our second show today as uh he likens himself to an nfl gm but then again you know there was some reactions immediately following the wake of this and they were not good for tim walson kmall harris uh before that though just briefly guys wherever you listen to the show today do us a huge favor make sure you're subscribed to stake for breakfast make sure you're sharing the podcast with your friends family co-workers and loved ones check us out on apple spotify i heart samsung amazon podcast or wherever you listen to the shows also check us out on social media twitter getter true social and instagram tiktok also is where we have accounts find them follow and hit the notification bell you'll never miss out on all the great stuff we're working on down here at the show like our interview that's coming up in just a moment with virginia representative congressman ben cline so there you know would you believe it if the talking points uh reference jadie vances slick slick that's the best they had and and they did the exact thing that they did where this is a damn danger to our democracy this is a danger to our democracy this is a danger to our democracy and they did like the compilation like jadie vances slick as a slick as a dick blah blah blah ridiculous what slickly is why do these news outlets take the actual bullet points that the democrat apparatus did you see somebody posted on x is it just me or do you guys not notice that a bell ring every time they say apparatus for the og's only uh if you don't know you know but yeah i thought it was interesting i pulled a well it's kind of a mini montage of some of the responses from i guess both sides of the aisle and the media how they were reporting jadie vance's slickness level following the debate let's check it out any advance was as slick as a needle last night he was too slick maybe he's a little too slick for that advance came off a bit slick tonight jadie vance was a very slick debater the slicker speaker i think he looked at shifty he looked at slick over and over you heard lies and kind of slick answers from jadie vance jadie vance changes personalities like most people change suits slick slick slick when you look over at jadie vance you see uh slick guy we all know having worked with van jones how these Yale educated lawyers very slick no matter how slick jadie may have sounded today there is nothing decent about him this man is standing here lying to the country and that's where jadie vance was his slickest you know jadie vance was very slick but he was slick like a snake oil snake oil sales and jadie vance is slick and smooth um but he is still a bullshit artist wow yeah yeah i i i feel like there really wasn't that much bullshit no honestly yeah i mean even when jadie vance started off with an answer that wasn't addressing the question he would talk for about the answer yeah but i do want to answer your question because you asked it he's like even in one instance when he was talking about threats to democracy he's like even though i feel like it's completely irrelevant to this election cycle let's get into this um but what's even worse than being slick in jadie vance's case is what the media portrayed tim waltz as and that was looking you ready for this one biden esk oh yes let's hear it it kind of reminded me of the june 27th debate uh when Kamala Harris that night said of joe biden it was a slow start but a strong finish and that's how i felt that tim waltz kind of uh did tonight you know to use uh tim waltz's own words i mean a lot about this debate tonight was was weird there were uncomfortable cringey moments but overall i think my takeaway was uh something that ryan's previous said on the outset which was that uh jadie vance needed to come away as that humble likable guy from hillbilly elegy it seemed like he did uh perhaps get some points in that when you got abc news in their post game commentary and how they were embarrassed getting fact checked on their fact checked in real times at least two or three times uh admitting that you know tim waltz was a hot fucking mess which we all know he is um you know everything from the air kicks and limp wrists to the way he animates his face and how his googly eyes almost popped out a bunch of times throughout the course of this debate is a big win for jadie vance um you know and you saw the national polls and the polls in places like pennsylvania that were either one point for harris or tide both shift in the direction where donald trump has a still within the margin of era but lead in those states and nationally now following the debate so although they don't traditionally move the needles we do have in fact a little bit of movement over the course of last couple days and that does come corresponding with the fact that donald trump and jadie vance have both been extensively on the ground in places like kennessee alabama the carolina's georgia florida and everywhere in between in response to hurricane haleen so that's probably contributed to it as well in addition to the fact that i think the polls are all bullshit and donald trump's winning a little bit more than the media wants to admit right now because again with 30 some odd days left what else are they going to report on if they start reporting the numbers accurately we're going to leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in with congressman cline but before we do another check in with one of our partners i think it's time we had a conversation about a good night's sleep pillow king of minnesota michael indell and the apparatus known as the my pillow family has been cranking out savings down at my pillow for over 20 years and for the first All right joining us next on the show today this big friday edition of the state for breakfast podcast is the congressman who represents virginia six congressional district always glad to catch up with representative ben cline welcome back to the show. Hey good to be back with you always a pleasure to host and we've got a bunch to talk about so we're going to jump right in listen congressman we're breaking down and providing some commentary on the fallout from the vice presidential debate earlier this week i think a lot of america who might not have been familiar with jd vance where he stood policy-wise how he came back under the magga 10 after not being a strong supporter of donald trump back in 2016 probably breathed a sigh of relief and for those who might not have known democrat vice presidential nominee tim waltz they were probably a little bit horrified but coming from your office and seeing how you watch it all kind of play out why don't require our our listenership a little bit of how you saw it shake out during the debate uh earlier this week you know i don't think it could have gone much better for for jd vance and he did a great job uh going after pommela harris and you know i would say the left and the media have done such a hit job on him over the last couple months that he did need to really be genuine with the audience and and show that uh he can relate to working folks across the country um and he did that and and i think he was relatable he was uh empathetic you know and and brought not just himself but uh the whole ticket uh back to a a place where um we can see them both in the white house uh trump and jd vance uh you know as president and vice president here on november fifth and i think the country is ready for them and i'm excited about um the direction that this campaign is moving right now you know and when you talk about the check and balance or the way that a politician is supposed to run alongside his president when you you know are in the office of the vice president and seem to uh you know for a relationship that's still fairly new i think jd vance played a pretty good role in in outlying you know his view of what america first politics look like how his uh you know politics over the years have kind of blossomed into where they are now and and what he would bring to the table as someone who presides over the you know congress in the u.s. senate he's someone who that will uh be the last person in the room with president trump and those big decisions are being made and then you know when they tried to do the hit jobs uh you know ukraine wasn't brought up but climate change was they they didn't really talk about joe biden and kamala harris' lack of response uh for what's going on with hurricane haleen right now but they sure made sure they talked about january sixth you know i think he did a good job of navigating the issues and i think he he kind of presented the american public with like yes everything that everyone wants to talk about might be important but when you're talking about this election it comes down to the economy border security and probably reestablishing our footing geopolitically is the top table items that are major concern to the voters who are going to be into the ballot box in just a few weeks that's right you know he addressed the issues that are important to the voters uh that inflation the border crime uh and you know waltz really only had those leftist uh crutches of of things like january sixth looking back abortion which uh is a concern for many americans but jadie vance handled it great and uh you know that the social issues that leftists love to to bring up but uh i i would say that um you know vance did a great job of battling not just waltz but also the the two moderators who wouldn't let him uh get a word in and and try to fact check him uh in real time with false you know false fact checking actually and and he set him he set them straight but uh i i do think he's he's done a great job uh yesterday and i think all of those interviews he did with the left wing media over the course of the last six weeks you know he dove right in and took him on and i think that prepped him well for this debate meanwhile waltz who was wrapped in bubble wrap uh didn't have anywhere to go and uh what let was left blaling at this debate because he he hadn't participated in those debates i mean in those discussions with the media you know and when you see the way that they've kind of been reluctant and that's come all Harrison to maulce to really sit down for any kind of pointed or uh policy driven interviews and she's been kind of inserted as the democrat nominee you know it good it's a tale of two tapes and getting into how you see this presidential race shaping up i mean the things that donald trump are bringing to the table there should be no surprise to americans i i think the widening of the tent that he's done over the course of the past six months and especially coming out of the republican national convention adding people like elan must tulsi gabbard and rfk junior two you know the america first movement are huge components of the success he's having now but i think it's is the way he lays out his plan for the american people just the way it looked a little bit less than four years ago and how you know there is no uh no one's being held accountable for the fact that the last four years did occur this is kamal Harris and joe biden's show right now you know america's are hurting everywhere from the wallet to the safety and security when they walk out into their streets their kids education and everything in between so as you see this race kind of shaping up i mean we're 30 some odd days before we're going to make the biggest decision and probably the biggest election in modern history here how do you see president from running this race i mean you look at the things that typically and historically republicans are doing he's at the end of the campaign trail right now uh hitting up the battleground states like georgia north carolina out in arizona nivata up in the rust belt like wisconsin and michigan but when you look at places that he's also hit over the course and towards the end of the cycle too he's done rallies in new jersey he's done rallies out on long island he looks to do another rally even in your state of virginia it seems like he's hitting every single thing he can on the campaign trail leaving no stone unturned and going into areas and and resonating with voters in way you typically don't see a republican candidate yeah you see uh he has uh redefined the party and it's now uh a working americans party it's it's the the liberal elite are a shrinking group and on the left and the democrats realize that and they're back on their heels you just look at the port strike and the the striking workers trump is on good terms with the head of that union uh and has i mean they guys bend them our lago and and uh they understand trump understands the the need to negotiate for better wages for better terms and and uh so he understands the challenges facing working families right now and that's why working americans middle-class americans are flocking to his campaign and that's why he's campaigning all across the country in blue collar places like uh parts of new york city uh parts of new jersey yes uh parts of virginia and we're already voting so we're you know this the time is here um the the issues that are the most important for americans inflation the border crime uh cost of living energy those are the issues that trump is with them on he's right on those issues he's and and i think it's just a convergence this happening just at the right time uh we were worried a month ago because of the kamala boom and people were saying it was going to bust and she was going to come back down to earth but there were those who doubted it and sure enough she's come back down and trump has risen and it's the right time so we feel good you know when you see over course of just let's just say the last week the lack of response from the federal government the almost defiance coming out of joe biden kamala harris that they're doing enough saying those things on tv and then even blaming donald trump for criticisms that he's had in regards to how they handled the situation and then you had already mentioned the the long shorman and uh dock worker strike happening along the entire east coast right now if americans needed you know just last minute items to confirm to them that this is the administration they've got for the last four years and this is probably what they're going to get even worse in the four years following this november election i think this administration has done a pretty good job of not getting out of their way this administration uh definitely has stumbled has not had a good vision or approach because their policies are wrong and um they've they've just got two left feet when it comes to how to respond and you know that the communist kabal in the west wing formerly led by susan rice but still to this day can't figure out how to respond to real world problems um you know that this uh these striking workers are striking because they're facing real world problems that this administration caused uh the inflation and the cost of living the energy cost and the and the problems facing businesses and and they're not able to solve them so um don trump will be able to solve them and and i think voters are going to recognize that and and give him that opportunity here on november 5th you know you had mentioned the the chaining of the republican party and and the evolution that we've gone through up into this point congressman you know earlier in the show today we had the new house freedom caucus chairman dr annie harris join us he's been a great guest of the show for a number of years now he talked about some of the direction the the caucus is going in and how you know he's running his race and and looking to uh get down to work come january of next year with the start of the next session of commerce just kind of want to get your commentary on him being the new house freedom caucus chairman we think it's a great you know move for the caucus definitely one that takes it in a positive direction and then kind of maybe uh back into where he left off on talking about some of the things that you guys are wrapping up now which essentially would be like a congressional band aid into the next session of congress but really looking to get back to work on some of those things that you guys at least in the start of this session we're so tuned into things like hr one and two obviously the save act uh maybe reforming some of the the immigration policies that are making a lot easier for people to game the system etc yeah we're we're anxious to get back to work uh we've we passed hr one uh which was energy independence hr two securing the border those are going to be top priorities for uh trump and and his new administration um you know he's still focused on draining the swamp administrative reform removing the woken weaponized government uh out of out of our administrative agencies so he's going to have a big charge to do that um continuing the economic record that he had that was put on pause by joe biden but uh the tax cuts that launched the economic success of the trump administration back in 17 need to be renewed so that's going to be a top priority but uh or the freedom caucus is ready to play an influential role i'm proud to be a member and he is going to be a great chairman i served with him uh on he he actually chairs the uh appropriation subcommittee on agriculture and has a farming rural district uh his views are important he wants to make sure he's also a physician so he wants to make sure that these food programs that are administered federally like snap are administered in a way that doesn't contribute to the poor health of americans that actually contributes to improving health of americans and that for those on snap um that eating healthy needs to be incentivized and and so uh you know he's he's got some reforms that are going to save taxpayer dollars some welfare reforms some work requirements um those types of things are are important to him and important to me and and i think he's going to do a great job as chairman no so do we hear on the show i mean like you had mentioned uh he's definitely looking to get down to making america healthy again and then for yourself someone who sits on both budgetary and appropriations committees you have to be excited for the potentiality of donald trump getting back in the white house so all the frustration you guys went through and the out of control government spending over the course of the last four years and and leading up through it with the pandemic and all the you know pre-level spendings that we abandon to uh kind of help out the american people that's kind of also uh spiraled into now just the way that it is and and things we have to get back to to get this budget deficit and national debt under control there's a lot of contributing factors to that but having the man at the top that would be donald trump good leadership in the caucus with dr harris obviously strong congressman like yourself is definitely a way that we think is going to go and be very beneficial for the american people all right congressman driven back into the you know we talked about border security briefly but you know you see these numbers come out recently and whether it was just over the last four years or the time periods leading up to it there are a lot of criminal aliens that have been led into this country you know one thing that you can confirm though is during the course of the last four years and under joe biden and kemall harris we have seen deportations out of the country uh at an all-time low there's a lot of different you know numbers which lead up through the methodology that's used to apply this and and why it's happening donald trump points it out during a lot of his rally sometimes people will send their absolute worst here and when it's time to send them back they won't accept them even though they're their own country citizens he had some very innovative ways of taking care of that problem during the first trump administration but when you talk about these numbers and the amount of dangerous people who are literally walking the streets here it has to be alarming and we have to be looking forward to ice getting back to work potentially in january here it is terrifying to see the numbers that mayarchus has recently sent to the congress and reported on the number of criminals who have been allowed into this country uh you know 425,000 convicted criminals and 232 with a thousand with pending criminal charges now that's not uh this year or even just during the biden administration that's over the course of of several administrations and decades but uh the fact is the mayarchus tenure as as secretary of homeland security has been a disaster he's been complicit in opening up our borders uh allowing more than eight million illegals to come across the border since uh joe biden took office that's more uh than the population of the commonwealth of virginia so you know for virginians it's uh pretty overwhelming to to see the impact that that's having on our country on and down at the border it's even worse when you look at the impact on on emergency services on housing on schools um but it is impacting rent costs it's impacting housing costs all over the country including uh right here in the sixth district and so and and wages so uh we need a change and that's why we need to get trump back in office i think you'll see a big change right after election day uh as soon as as soon as um donald trump wins i think you're going to see a big shift in the flow of migrants not only to this country but potentially out of this country as well yeah i mean they've alluded to on the campaign trail nothing short of the party's over come january of next year but much like uh you just mentioned and we were talking a little bit about offline before we started recording today uh we might see some even self-departing of people who know that they're going to be uh their presence here in the united states is going to be heavily scrutinized especially if it's uh of an illegal presence even more so if they're a criminal alley and then probably to avoid detention and maybe even being forcefully deported back to their own you know countries of origin they might be taking themselves and and doing it as well and then congressman last thing i want to touch with you on you you know it's kind of going under the radar because there's a lot of stuff going on right now we had the debate this week obviously in the last leg of the presidential race we already talked about a couple topics that are uh kitchen table items for american people but there is still you know some forever wars going on around the world and some of them that have been facilitated by joe biden and kabal Harris over the last three plus years you know we're just a few days away from the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attack on israel committed by hamas and and you know israel and its own defense is open up a second front into lebanon and against his law as well we've seen some unprecedented moves by ran over the course of israel's response and campaign against these terrorist organizations including a massive missile attack last week that i'm sure everybody saw on tv you know to see the way that this administration has taken our strongest and maybe even only reliable ally in the region and just kind of not only armchair quarterback the response for probably one of the most horrific if not horrific outside of things like 9/11 terrorist attacks that have ever happened on this planet and then to see them you know kind of leave them out to dry in their response only offering deterrence and things of that nature i mean obviously we don't want to get involved in the kinetic war in israel between them and some of their long standing historical foes but when you see countries like i ran how the biden administration has kind of propped them up again over the course of the last four years and now is allowing them to just freely attack them whenever they want it's it's very disturbing for the relationship and and where it goes from here especially after election day and it says a lot for the failed foreign policies of this administration and for someone like kamal harris who has said during you know a lot of these military operations that we've seen develop over the last four years for her being the last person in the room right it's been tragic what's happened in israel and to watch uh the building up of iran the strengthening of iran by this administration over the last four years the rewarding of iran with billions of dollars of us dollars uh and to now see them engaged in these proxy wars but now engaged in direct conflict with israel we have to stand with israel uh loudly and forcefully we have to send the message that there will that they cannot create any kind of rift between us and israel as as the soul democracy in the middle east uh uh they are an outpost of of freedom and democracy and so helping them to fend off to finally defeat hamas in gaza but also to fend off Hezbollah and they've done it in some very creative ways with uh pagers exploding and and now um the assassination of nusrallah um it's been a successful uh decapitation so far of the Hezbollah hierarchy and they can go in with ground troops to destroy the weapons that iran has put there um to continually attack the israeli people so they need to be able to to finish it i think they should be given the freedom you know joe biden says oh no don't go after the nuclear uh sites and iran well if iran is only one to two weeks away from having a nuclear weapon uh then who's to say that iran that israel um shouldn't be interested in going in and taking out those nuclear facilities and and the u.s should stand by and support whatever decision israel makes regarding that no it's an excellent point you make and you know with iran looking to well there's reports that they're looking to make some uh new statements on their nuclear doctrine what that means for the region and like you said if they're able to ever get their hands on a nuclear weapon and finish development there it would mean disaster for the nation of israel probably for the rest of the world as well as another uh terrorist backed regime would be coming into the nuclear community congressmen great catch it up with you as always we don't do it enough but when we do i think our listenership really appreciates everything you bring to the show
