God is about to settle certain challenges in your life once and for all. Trust his plan. It is working for your good.

The Plan Is Working

Where should we do something this morning? ♪ Hallelujah ♪ ♪ That the glory ♪ ♪ Hallelujah, amen ♪ Thank you, Jesus. ♪ Hallelujah, thank the glory ♪ ♪ Revive us again ♪ Sing it to him. ♪ Hallelujah, thank the glory ♪ ♪ Hallelujah, amen ♪ ♪ Hallelujah, thank the glory ♪ ♪ Revive us again ♪ Father God, me and Bastim, we join our faith with your wonderful people here this morning, minister to them, encourage them, touch them, strengthen them, heal them, work in their lives. Minister to them through their series, old coming adversity, no matter what their face with. You are able to turn the tables in their favor. We pray for wisdom, we pray for knowledge, we pray for understanding, we pray for insight. Have your way, not our will, but your perfect will be done in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray somebody say, amen. Good morning to you, saints of the Most High God. So glad to be back with you as we continue the series, overcoming adversity. And we are picking up where we left off with our last broadcast. And on this morning, we want to talk about this. The plan is working because remember, Ruth was advised by Naomi. Naomi had a plan. She understood the culture. She had the experience, she had the wisdom. She was a mother-in-law and a mentor to Ruth. So Naomi had a plan on how Ruth should go about approaching boys based on their customs. Ruth, listen, the Bible says in the multitude of counselors there is safety. You need counsel, amen. You need people in your life to advise you, to guide you. You don't know it by yourself. No wonder the Scripture says, "Lay not to your own understanding because your understanding alone is not enough to get the job done." Are you hearing me? Watch this now. So we pick back up in Ruth chapter 3, verse 18, and then we're going to jump into chapter 4. Then Naomi said to her, "Just be patient, my daughter." That was the last broadcast. Until we hear what happens, the man won't rest until he has settled things today. Glory to God. Boaz was, he wanted Ruth, he knew she was the right one. But there was somebody who at first dates, he was the closest kinsman to this other family member. He was closer to Naomi and Ruth than Boaz. So that was a curveball. So now we got to jump into chapter 4 to see how this thing plays out. But I want to tell someone this morning, the plan is working. Can someone open your mouth and declare it? The plan is working. Can you type that below this video? The plan is working. Now watch this, in Ruth, in Ruth chapter 4, beginning at verse 1 through 10, Boaz went to the town gate and took a seat there. Just then the family redeemer, he had mentioned to Ruth came by. So Boaz called out to him, "Come over here and sit down, friend." Ha, ha, ha, ha. Lord of mercy, Boaz called him friend even, because he about to rub him down real good and get this, and get this deal going. I almost called this message. It's time to close the deal. But watch this. So Boaz is talking to his family member, who has first chance to go after Ruth. He said, "I want to talk to you." So they sat down together. Then Boaz called 10 leaders, and all of this is based on their custom. Then Boaz called 10 leaders from the town and asked him to sit as witnesses. And Boaz said to the family redeemer, "You know Naomi, who came back from Moab, she is selling the land that belonged to our relative, Elimalek, verse 4. So Boaz said, "I thought I should speak to you about it so that you can redeem it if you wish. If you want the land, then buy it here in the presence of these witnesses. But if you don't want it, come on, Boaz. Boaz, I tell you what I need somebody to help me with this one. But if you don't want it, let me know right away." I tell you what Boaz is. He's doing everything not to just explode. So Boaz said, "If you don't want the land," because he knows what's coming with it, his cousin he's talking to, he doesn't realize what's going to have to happen if he wants the land. But Boaz was fully informed because he'd been involved from the get-go, you see. So Boaz is thinking, "I lose in this." But anyway, so you have to tell him the truth. He said, "But if you don't want it, let me know right away. You hear those closing signs? Let me know right away because I am next in line to redeem it after you. I'd dare someone to lift your hands to heaven for a few moments and say, "I am next in line." Glory to God. Just say it again, "I am next in line. I am next." 'Cause you are next in line. Glory to God. Come on. A full of miracle. This is your time. This is your time. To arise and be blessed. You are next in line. Glory to God. Come on. A full of miracle. This is my time. Oh, come on. Praise him, somebody. Glory to God. Somebody praise him here. (speaking in foreign language) Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Blessed be the name of Jesus. Thank you, Holy Ghost. So Boaz is letting him know, "I am next in line, bro. I am next in line." You don't know what's coming with this property, but I got inside information. I noticed a woman already is interested and this is the hand of God bringing things together. So, the kinsman redeemer said, "All right. I'll buy the line." Dang it. Boaz said, "No, I got a curveball coming at you." So listen to what Boaz said after the kinsman redeemer and say, "I'll redeem the line." Then Boaz told him, "Of course your purchase of the land from Naomi also requires that you marry Ruth. She got expensive taste. You're gonna have to take a shopping weekend and week out. You're gonna have to do some fine dining with this woman. She is, you know, she, I mean, come on, come on. You're gonna have to spend you a good chunk of money, man. Are you sure?" Boaz, Boaz said, "I'm having fun, y'all." Boaz said, "Of course your purchase of the land from Naomi also requires that you marry Ruth, the more bite widow." That way she can have children who will carry on her husband's name and keep the land in the family. And here comes the good news. Oh, whoa, then I can't redeem it. I can't do that. The family redeemer replied, "Because this might endanger my own estate. I can't be marrying nor the woman. You redeem the land. I cannot do it." Ooh, I bet Boaz wanted to shout and start having a passage on dance. Glory to God. Verse 7, "Now in those days it was the custom in Israel for anyone transferring a rite of purchase to remove his sandal and hand it to the other party." This publicly validated the transaction. So the other family redeemer drew off his sandal 'cause he didn't want, he wanted the land, but he didn't want Ruth coming with it. But this worked out for Boaz. So the other family redeemer drew off his sandal as he said to Boaz, "You buy the land." Ooh, shout somebody. You bet I'm ready to buy the whole thing 'cause I know it's coming with it. Didn't Boaz said to the elders and to the crowd standing around, "You are witnesses that today I have bought from Naomi all the property of Ilimela, Killian, and Melon, and with the land. I have acquired Ruth the more bite widow." And she's sure enough good looking. "The more bite widow of Melon to be my wife." Glory to God. This way, she can have a son to carry on the family name of her dead husband and to inherit the family property here in his hometown. You are all witnesses today. Lord have mercy. I stop by to tell someone this morning, the plan is working. Look, me and Bastim have been discussing this here whole lot lately. Sometimes when you pray in for a miracle, God gives you a plan. And I'm not gonna get into it 'cause I'll let Bastim he shed it with you. You need a plan, Saints. You need a plan. Joshua did not have knocked the walls of Jericho down and God gave him a plan. March around the walls of Jericho. Once for six days and on the seven day, march around seven times and when you shout, the walls coming down. You need a plan. Moses had a plan to build the Tabernacle. God gave the plan to David who passed it on the Solomon to build the temple. You need a plan. I said, you need a plan. God don't always give an instant miracle. Sometimes the miracle comes through having a plan. And sometimes some of us are so gung-ho about how God should do it, that we miss the plan to get to the miracle. You need, listen, you need a plan. The plan is working and the plan works. Are you listening to me? Some of you need a plan 'cause you are next line. Thank you, Jesus.
