Don’t try to force God’s plan for your life. If it is his will, he will make everything work out according to his purpose. Be patient. You may not see him working, but he is moving behind the scenes, orchestrating the events of your life to guide you to your divine destiny.

(thunder rumbling) ♪ And take me deeper than my feet ♪ ♪ Could ever wonder ♪ ♪ And my fate would remain stronger ♪ ♪ In the presence of ♪ ♪ Spirit lead me where my trust ♪ ♪ Is without borders ♪ ♪ Let me walk upon the waters ♪ Father God in the name of Jesus Christ on this morning, may in past Amy we join our faith with your wonderful people. That's tooling into this broadcast, minister to them Lord, encourage them. Let the word of God bring hope, faith, restoration, confirmation, instruction, direction. Let the lights come on in people's hearts and minds and in their spirits. David said in Psalms 119 verse 130, the entrance of thy word give light. It gives understanding to the symbol. Give understanding. Jesus said the words that I speak under you, they are spirit and they are life. Strengthen your people, encourage their faith. Someone who's starting to give up, encourage them this morning through this series. Overcoming adversity. Have your way long in their lives. This is me in past Amy's prayer for the people who will follow us, who love this ministry, who are tuning in those who even stumble up on this channel. Blow their minds with confirmation. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, somebody say aloud amen. All right, on this morning we are talking about just be patient. Now this is where I get into trouble. I know past Amy shouting amen if she's watching this. This is where I get into trouble. 'Cause I don't like to wait too long. But who knows good things come to those that wait? David said wait on the lawn, be of good courage and he shall strengthen the heart. When you see me said something in the motion I'm ready for it to be done. I'm like, let me see the end result. But God takes his time when he works with us. Let's go into the book of Ruth, chapter three, beginning at verse 10. We will pick up where we left off on yesterday morning. Ruth is presenting herself to boys and there's about to be a curve ball thrown in here. I don't like these curve balls but you got to deal with them, right? Listen to what he said in verse 10. "The Lord bless you, my daughter." 'Cause he woke up and she presented herself to him. "The Lord bless you, my daughter, boys." Exclaimed, "You are showing even more family loyalty now than you did before of course." For you have not gone after a younger man where the rich are poor. Ruth was attracted to boys. She realized this has got to be it and Naomi was there to help guide and counsel and say, "He's the one, he's the one." Verse 11, listen to what he says. I just love the story. Now don't worry about a thing. I guess that's where Bob Marley got that song from. (laughs) I'm just teasing with you Caribbean folks who know what I'm talking about. Bob Marley used to sing that song. Don't worry about a thing 'cause every little thing gon' be all right. (laughs) Come on Caribbean folks. Jamaica Man, one love. I'm just teasing my people in the Caribbean. Now watch this. So boy I said, "Now don't worry about a thing." Come on y'all, get that Bob Marley song out of your head and get back into the scriptures with me. (laughs) Watch this. So boy I said, "Now don't worry about a thing, my daughter." I will do what is necessary for everyone in town knows you are a virtuous woman. Your reputation has preceded you. God have so worked in your life and worked behind the scenes that the good you have been doing have gone before you preceded you and have prepared the way. Listen to what boy I said. Boy I said, "I will do what is necessary." For everyone in town knows you are a virtuous woman. What a God we serve. Everyone knows you are exceptional. They know you are virtuous. They know you are good Ruth. You are full of integrity. Everyone knows it. This ain't a secret. But while it's true, here comes the curve ball. Here comes the curve ball. But while it's true that I am one of your family redeemers, there is another man who is more closely related to you than I am. Ah, lord of mercy. I give him a one-way ticket to Jibim. I said, "Cause I got a surprise trip for you son." I'm just teasing y'all. This is where trust comes in. Because if you anything like me, I get tempted to take matters in my own hands. You understand what I'm saying? 'Cause I got a trip for you. But can you imagine what's going through everything? I mean, Ruth was not expecting this. She's a loving boy. She's attracted to him. He's attracted to her. And yet there is somebody who has first steps, verse 13, boy I said, "Stay here tonight." And in the morning, just give me 24 hours. Oh, glory to God. You know, I keep coming across this thing. And I believe the Holy Spirit has been speaking to a lot of people, in 24 hours, someone's gonna get a breakthrough. So boy I said, "Stay here tonight." And in the morning, 'cause you know, joy comes in the morning. In the morning, I will talk to him. If he is willing to redeem you very well, let him marry you. Boy, is you better man than I am. I'm sorry, boy. I'd have been like that would have been like dude, can we meet over here? What part of my field do you want? How much of this field? Just take what you want, just let me have that woman. But you can't, you can't, you can't force it. You got to get out of the way and let God do it. And that's where I get into trouble. Just be patient. I believe the Holy Ghost is talking to someone. Just wait. You getting tempted to jump out there before your time. And the Holy Ghost is saying, "Wait, I got something better for you." Boy, is yours, but she, boy, is doing the right thing. He's a really honorable man. I truly take my hat off to him. So boy, I said, "I'm gonna get this thing worked out." Boy said, "If he's not willing, then as surely as the Lord lives, "I will redeem you myself." Now lie down here until the morning. Can you imagine root must have finished horse and turned throughout the night? So Ruth led boy's feet until the morning, but she got up before it was light enough for people to recognize each other. For boys had said no one must know that a woman was here, the threshing flaw. He's a wise man. You don't just go and blob out all your business. The Bible says, "So you open wide his mouth?" We'll have destruction. He keeps his mouth, keeps his life. Sometimes you gotta keep it to yourself. Hold it close to the vest. Then boy, I said to her, "Bring your cloak and spread it out." He measured six scoops of valley into the cloak and placed it on her back then. He returned to the town. I mean, he just kept heaping blessings on Ruth when Ruth went back to a mother-in-law. Naomi asked, 'cause Naomi couldn't sleep either. She wanted to know what's gonna come in the situation. What happened, my daughter? Ruth told Naomi everything. Boy, I said done for her. And she added, he gave me these six scoops of valley and said, "Don't go back to your mother-in-law empty-handed. What a good man." He's also letting the mother-in-law know, "I got you daughter, I gotta, I'ma take care of her." Then Naomi said to her, "Just be patient." That's where I got my title from. Just be patient. Just wait. Day that wait on the Lord. Glory to God. Day that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not get weary. They shall walk and not faint. David said wait on the Lord. Be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say on the Lord. I dare someone lift me and say, "God, I'm gonna wait." As impatient as I am, I'm gonna wait. Then Naomi said to her, "Just be patient, my daughter, until we hear what happens." Listen to this. The man won't rest until he has settled things today. God is gonna set lift for somebody today. God is gonna give somebody a breakthrough today. God is gonna change somebody's report today. Someone is gonna get good news today. Somebody lift your hands, David. I dare you say today is my day. This is my day. Today is my day. I receive your word, just be patient. Just be patient, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. May in past Amy we join hands in faith with your wonderful people. Our brother and our sister tuning into this broadcast. The enemy wants to tempt them to jump out ahead of you but help them to wait, God, help them to wait. You said be anxious for nothing but by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Make your request known to God. And the God of all peace will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We thank you for victory in this morning. We thank you for making a way. You got it all in control and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, even to them who are called according to his purpose. Do it, Lord.
