hmm shit. Oh buddy. Looks like we're live. Oh man. He ain't your dad son. Oh man. You know what Nick Saban doesn't do. He doesn't lose the Vanderbilt. Whoo. But oh, Kaitlyn boy. Is Kayla the boy on the hot seat? Is he the first ever, uh, you know, number one coach to be we got, we got to get rid of his ass already, right? Mike, it's his say, his only saving grace is the fact we have 12 teams making the college football playoffs. If this was seven years ago, he'd be on the hot seat immediately because this is a, this is a team you don't drop to man. And I don't want to, I don't want to just piss on Vanderbilt because they deserve everything, man. As Pavia, Pavia. Oh my gosh. I should have named my cat Pavia because he is the, if you're doing attributes on college football 25, his ability to just make things happen. I don't even know what you would call that is a 99. I mean, the guy is just Houdini out there. Oh buddy. And this was not a fluke. Anybody that missed? I'm sure most of you saw the end of the game, but you probably didn't watch, you know, the full thing. There's other games on Alabama. Never led in this game, Shane. Yeah. And this is what we've been seeing out of Vanderbilt, you know, chewing the clock. It's, it's essentially triple option out of a shotgun. It's brilliant. What they're doing, their defense or defense is still pretty bad. But as long as they got Diego Pavia out there making plays and how about Alabama? I mean, they couldn't stop them to save their literally to they had opportunities and all you got to do is stop Vanderbilt. They couldn't do it. And my God, Shane, my God, I mean, is Vanderbilt making the cost? We'll play off. Let's kick it out. Let's put Vanderbilt in there. Well, that's the thing. Mizzou is like, see, we told you the whole time, you know, we, we, they took us to overtime and everybody was saying Vanderbilt. I can't believe it. Now they're like, Oh man, see, I told you Vanderbilt's a good football team. So right, decaying dynasty. How about that? And how about a so we've made amends to our A&M? I'm still I'm going to sing the damn fight song on Sunday. Cause I was a dumbass. I think some of those dumbasses need to need to apologize though. Cause they're mad at me still. When I said Vanderbilt could beat A&M after they beat Virginia Tech. Now I sit here. They just beat number one. I think Vanderbilt can play with anybody. They just proved it, Mike. You know, they went toe to toe with the top 10 team and then they beat the number one team in the country, which I mean after last week, I thought was the best team in the country. But yeah, Vanderbilt is absolutely. I mean, when you, you got their schedule, Texas, don't forget Vanderbilt. Oh, that's a series right now. We got a question from the flying one 10, 10 to two Vanderbilt. Do they make the college football play? Yes. Not only do they make it, they should get a buy. Yeah. Absolutely. Give them a little more time to finish at stadium. Oh man, they're paying a hundred thousand dollars right now for 15 people to storm the field. You know what I'm saying? And hope, you know, hope this, this one victory is not going to drastically change everything. Shane, but this is how pathetic it was where they're at home. They had to go to the silent count at points of this game. Cause again, Alabama fans travel. I get it. Yeah, Georgia fans travel. Tennessee fans will travel to that stadium. But come on, man, if you're a Vanderbilt fan, show up these damn games. They just beat number one, your team having to go silent count because they can't hear over the Alabama fans. Let's, let's end that. Let's, let's stop making Vanderbilt a joke. They're putting it in. They just beat number one. This, this is the greatest night of your life. If you're a Vanderbilt, you're not there. You're not there. Yeah. I mean, odds are if you're a Vanderbilt fan, you are not at this football game, Mike, because you knew it was going to be a blowout. You just knew you're going to get your ass smoked. How many Alabama games did you walk out of? How many Georgia games have you walked out of? This is a football team. Like you said, Mike, is, is doing something so special. I mean, in my 42 years on this earth, this is probably the biggest upset I have ever seen, man. I mean, this is hats off to Vandy. How about this Shane? Again, Alabama, yeah, take a wild guess how many rushing yards they had in this game. Alabama, not many 55 84, but again, credit to Vanderbilt's defense. Vanderbilt had twice at 166 rushing yards. They hate me. Says it just meant more to Vanderbilt. This is crazy. Do you think, let me ask you, I got to ask the question. One of the things that people talked about when we had this expansion is that some of these games won't mean as much. Do you think that there was any of that going on in this matchup that you thought Alabama said, Hey, at, at one point, Hey, if we lose, we lose, but we're still in kind of scenario. Um, I mean, maybe, but I honestly, I haven't felt any of that at all. Shane, all these games have been mine. I mean, last week, Alabama, Georgia felt like the greatest game the sport has seen in a number of years. This upset loses no lust or even if Alabama makes the college football club, which is not a given because hell, you know, we'll give them credit. They came out. They whooped Georgia's ass in the first quarter. Georgia basically whooped them for three quarters. Yeah. Yeah. And then now we get here. And again, Vanderbilt didn't whoop Alabama, but they, they literally never led in this football game. Alabama didn't. So Vanderbilt took it to, to Alabama, the number one team in the country for four damn quarters. So I, I think this more, what this says, Shane, is this damn things wide open? One week Ole Miss, you're losing at home to Kentucky. Then you're going on the road and whooping the hell out of South Carolina. Yeah. You know, I think that's what we're going to get. And I don't know if there, there is a truly dominant team anymore. No. And I will say, I'm a little more worried about Alabama, even though, you know, again, they, they still have an opportunity to make the playoffs. They still have an opportunity to make an SDC championship after last week's second half performance. And then what I saw today, that secondary, I know they're young, but they are a problem. They are a problem and everybody has seen it. Everyone has discovered this. So when you look at Alabama schedule, it does not get any easier. I, I would you say right now, if you had to put money on it on a scale of one to 10, one, it's not happening 10. It's happening. What are you putting on Alabama actually making the playoffs after this football game? Five. So 50 50, you know, again, we'll, we'll, we'll learn a little bit more about Tennessee tonight, but that ain't going to be easy. No, I thought Mizzou was going to be difficult. I could be dead wrong about LSU. That's a night game here at Oklahoma. People that wrote off Oklahoma, I think that's foolishness. I mean, they, they're defenses elite. Who knows what they look like, you know, a month from now, two months from now, when with Michael Hawkins, if he starts heating up. So yeah, I mean, this, this is not a given brother. No, not when, not when Vanderbilt just whooped your ass. Oh, it's crazy. Crazy. I still can't believe that happened. Well, Nick, when Nick Saban have lost this game, Shane, no, no, he's, oh, I think five and oh, I guess Vanderbilt is what I read. So Nick Saban does not lose to Vanderbilt. So before you go around in the next great Crimson Tide coach, just remember that I, I'm trying not to overreact to this was the wild. I mean, literally never in a hundred years. I did, I picked Vanderbilt to cover, but I thought it would be one where I'm like sweating out the cover, you know, but late in the fourth quarter. I, I have lost seemingly all respect that I, that Kaitlin aboard gained last week. Yeah. I mean, this is, this is inexcusable and elite coaches don't drop games like this. Nope. And, and this, like I said, this defense is a problem. And, and after tonight, Mike, I don't think they make the playoffs. I'm, I'm more like a two on that two, a two. I, I'm just out. And again, I'm not, I'm not trying to give Vanderbilt all the credit here and then try to say, well, Bama didn't show up. I really do feel like Vanderbilt was a better football team offense and against offense against their defense. They had no answer for Pavia. And, and I get, I get, this is an unusual offense. It's almost like you're, you're preparing for the old Georgia tech football game, but, but the kid just made a mockery of your secondary. And that's not the Crimson Tide. I know. So do you think this will continue all season or is this, is this just fluke that we just saw number one, lose to, to Vanderbilt? I mean, we're going to get season long wild results, I guess. Mike, you know, before we were video, we were radio and probably people have said, you know what, I could probably, if I had to pick one, I could beat, I, I may be able to beat, I may be able to beat Mike, but not Shane and running. And then we went to video and they saw me and they're like, nah, Mike's going to be the problem. Shane would be pretty easy. That's where we're at right now. The video is out. The tape has been surfaced. We've seen where they had a problem last the second half of last week. I don't think that was a fluke. I don't think they'd just let go of the reins. I just feel like Georgia said, Holy shit, we, why have we not been airing it out this whole football game? And then now you're seeing it with Vanderbilt. So every defense or offense that's good, they're going to face is going to put these cornerbacks on an island. Right. How about this Shane? 26 first downs for Vanderbilt, only 17 for Alabama, 12 of 18. Vanderbilt was on third down. That is awesome. Alabama, three of seven. I mean, again, this was, this was no fluke. This was one team was better. Now Alabama can hit you with explosives that they, they, they stayed in the game because they could hit explosive plays that Ryan Williams, I won't tell you how old he is. He's, he's incredible. But if not for him, I mean, yeah, if not for that kid, Alabama's got two losses right now. They're they're hanging on a thread of a 17 year old. How many more 17 years can we bring on his team? The same. I mean, this is what this was exactly why I was concerned about when I was here in this young player was tearing it up. He was going to be our go to. Yeah. Again, he's emerged. He's, he may be the best damn player in the country for all I know, but also that one, again, never have happened under the in the heyday of Nick Saban. This would have been a guy that was, you know, third or fourth receiver making splash plays. Yeah, he is the offense. Now him and Jalen Milro. And it's without them that I don't know this, this is troubling Shane. Alabama can't run against Vanderbilt. You know, that's, that's the narrative. Alabama cannot run against there. They cannot get off the field of defense against Vanderbilt. They cannot beat Vanderbilt. I can't win the third downs against Vanderbilt. It's like, what are we doing here? You know, we, like you said, we kind of crowned aboard last week for that awesome win he had against Georgia, but then you bounce back and do it. It reminds me of Tennessee that time they were, had Bruce Pearl and we got first place in basketball. We were so excited that we got our ass kicked the next week. We're like, ah, you know, so yeah, you got to taste. He got a little feel of it, but I just don't think this Alabama team is ready for the spotlight. William says you think you freeze even more pissed. He didn't go after Pavia after today. Oh my God. You have to be man. I've been saying this since they lost him. That's a kid. They should have went out there and God and then watch what he's doing up there in Vanderbilt. It's just freaking amazing. The kid right now is a Heisman winner. I know he's not going to get it. I know he's not going to get it because they don't have the wins and stuff, but Pavia removed from, from Vanderbilt's football team. They may not have a win. You know what I'm saying? This is a true Heisman candidate because of what he's doing for the Vanderbilt commoners. And just imagine, I don't feel bad for any of these guys making $10 million a year or anything. So that this does not feel bad, but can you imagine what it must have been like to be Kaylin aboard this week? Oh, everybody's patting on your back. You're the king of Alabama. You just whooped a hell out of Georgia, even though you damn near almost blew it. But no one cares about that. You won the game. You're the king. You're the back. Damn. People were legitimately saying they have upgraded from Nick Saban. Some dumbasses were saying that. And now it's going to go from, oh my God, no one's going to talk to this man for the rest of the week. I can only imagine. I don't encourage any shenanigans, but you got to feel like, you know, yard signs in his house and or they're going to egg it or something. You don't mean like he's going to go through hell the next week, losing the damn Vanderbilt. So are my mentions, Mike. I am right now losing every single bet. I, every bet. I said that a mazoo would win. I said that Ole Miss would lose. I said that Bama would win. And then I said Georgia would kill Auburn. This is where we're at right now. So I'm just putting Tennessee and Florida on notice right now because I have those programs winning as well. So man, this may, we may have three of these damn shows before the days of Mike. And I'm trying to think. I'm trying to rack my brain in the history of this show. Yeah. Not that we've been doing this, you know, super long or anything, but this feels like the biggest upset that we've ever done. This is it. This is upset ever. I think was it. You talk about, I think I saw the stat where it's first place against an unranked, I think was Texas A&M a few years back. That was the big one. Alabama and Texas A&M. Right. But I would say, Mike, that this is a bigger upset than that. Even though that's a great football game, we're talking about Vanderbilt Commodores. They've got a stadium capacity of 8,000 right now. You know, nobody wants to talk. We have, we barely talk about them and we have an SEC show and they're just going out there and silently having one of the greatest seasons ever. Now, they shouldn't have lost the Georgia state. Nobody should have a scheduled them, but they should have beat Mizzou. They should have beat first, or they did beat first drink, Alabama. I mean, if you, if the stars really lined up, Vanderbilt would be a top 10 football team right now. Right. Yeah. Yeah. And that's how stupid the polls are, right? Yeah. About just beating number one. I guarantee you they probably won't even be ranked in the new poll. You know what? I can't wait to see your power rankings tonight. I'll tell you that. Oh, buddy. Well, hey, we got other games to get to anything else, but I mean, I just can't believe it. I mean, I, I think DeBora, maybe not hot seat, but one more like yes, he's, he is asked right on the hot seat. Yeah. And again, I don't want to, I don't want to end this talking about BAM. I want to end this talking about coach Lee that was quote on quote on a hot seat coming into this season. Went out there, found a McCorder back, found him an offensive coordinator, found a guy. I mean, that's, that's what he did. We joked about all these kids that got picked from there. I mean, think about the kid that went to Georgia. Man, what probably had that receiver? You know, what I'm saying? All these guys that, that left for greener grass and now look at what they're doing up there in Nashville. It's unbelievable. I mean, hats off. I've never been a Vanderbilt fan. You know that because I've grown up in orange, big orange, Homer, but godly you deserve it to not Commodore's. We were all Vanderbilt fans today. Shane watching the end of that game. But yeah, yeah, to your point, I think it was Will Shepherd, outstanding receiver. Now he's at Colorado making fun of, you know, after they beat central floor last week, it, they asked him, is that the most complete win of the season? He said, buddy, I come from Vanderbilt as the most complete game we played. I played in my college career. Well, now they got a better win and Deon in Colorado will literally ever get in their existence. They just beat number one Alabama hats off. I can, I keep giving coach of the year today and me every coach, but we got a, let's, I think the leaders in the house, Mike Ilko, Clark Lee, gotta be the leaders in the clubhouse after five weeks here. Hell yeah, man. I'm here for it. And we still got two awesome games to go to not. So let's jump in at Mike. Hopefully there's no upsets moving for it. Hopefully we got them all out of the way, but I'm looking forward to another great two matchups here. All right, brother. I appreciate each and every one of you again. Saturday night after the last game kicks, I'll do the power rankings live. And hopefully for Shane's sake, we don't need to do emergency here in about three hours real quick. Who's happier? Pavius parrots or Paul five bomb? All right, that's going to do it. We'll get you on the next one.
