So every dish is a winner Okay, now this is the one that's the powerful backing of American Express enrollment required terms apply learn more at American express comms slash with Amax Welcome to the UNI Panther football show your weekly dose of panther football on demand with yours truly Voice of the Panthers JW cops this week tight and Lane prior joins this show with Lane We talk of his background and farming in Webster and Iowa playing eight-man football Are Hina's brother? We're a dominant force and what he sees as a ceiling for this year's panther offense Also this week we hear from head coach Mark Barley headed into another week preparing for a Another difficult in BFC matchup Here every panther game live on the panther radio network with me JW Cox and longtime panther Scott Peterson Fied us on your local radio affiliate by going to UNI panthers comm and searching keyword network Take us anywhere you go via the varsity network app Top now to hear from the coach that one was one where you got a reserve judgment and get to the next day and look at film And so we'll talk about some of that but I went back and looked yesterday One thing you did say out of our post game is felt like a lot of games But it's still just one game through your time here there were some games that you put in the category of a disappointing loss and teams that you've coached have come back from that and done some pretty Tremendous things and so I'm gonna give you a couple of years here and games and see what your thoughts are when you think back to some of those And and what teams did after again what you would say was maybe disappointing you go back and I mean even your 2005 team Right like everybody remembers that team you guys had a tough loss on the road at Illinois State after that game You were sitting there at four and three and then of course you win seven straight and you go to the national championship When you think of it in those terms what comes to mind when you think about how you make sure your team doesn't let that one game And what happened Saturday to find what else they can do that's all still out there on the table Well no game defines anything whether you win them or you lose them So you want you want to stay consistent. It's just but you've got it. You've got to get correction and these teams different to correct So you mentioned the 2005 I remember the 38 to three loss at Illinois State I don't think you crossed the 50-yard line that day and And we had to we had to make some adjustments We did but the players were the ones that made the biggest adjustment and I think that's that's the That's the consistent thing of all the of the your research that you did it would probably define the team more than The corrections because it's the team that makes the corrections and they step up and and and start to make I don't want to say make plays as much as is really put a purpose to their to their effort each and every Saturday We'll give you one more and interesting thoughts again because you go back 2005 and you get a little more recent 2019 team you go to North Dakota State They had you a tough loss made you guys even three and four at that point But then you went on one seven of the next eight games and went to the national quarterfinals that year We think that that team a little more recent What was that? What was that like after that to know okay now we get to pick up on a Monday and go try to do it again and figure out What we can do to turn this from three and four into what you guys did winning seven in the next day Well, I think in all those cases I go back to both of them I think the common denominator was is you know you don't blame the players. It's not you go back and you look at The whole the whole system the whole situation that you're in maybe was due to injury Maybe it was due to to some other factor that happened that particular I just know that you got to take a step back and and and think it through before you you jump to conclusions And then again you go back in on Sunday morning and you and you show the players What happens so they understand it and just be truthful with them and not not try to? Make it one player one Thing that needs to be changed you go in there in your in your in your show how everybody needs to adjust Moving forward. I guess is the best answer. I just remember both adjustments on both those years very very clear I know the defense is something you did bring up even postgame that you were gonna look at close and there were definitely some good things The defense did you look at their first three drives the two that that weren't coming off of a turnover you guys forced punts What did you see that was better against South Dakota State then had been the case going into the buy prior to that? That you liked about what your defense operated as we were better on the course You saw the two trick plays they tried on us. We were we were more disciplined in our coverage and we were more Tough in our fits up front so between the the discipline and the coverage and the toughness in the front those two combined to To a better result All right Obviously one teaching moment and one learning moment you have to take from that is the blocked plant What did you see on that that becomes the biggest learning moment moving forward to as you said ensure that it doesn't happen again? Well, that's that there's a huge correction to be made there and there'll be that'll be made part of the defense and then the shift You made there in the by week gave you a little extra time to see some different guys and some guys made their debuts thinking a specific of a guy Like Sammy Fort who was a transfer that came in here got some experience at UND came and played safety in that game What did you like about him leading up to that week that made you think he and know he was ready to get out there and get some snaps this Week they he had enough practice time and we got to see him enough. It was hard to get that he'd only had gotten here For August so he only had so many so many opportunities to To get ready and to learn what we're doing and then within those four weeks He stayed the course and that was probably part of why he got a got the opportunities because the guy said Really fought through those four weeks and tried to train and do the things the right way where the ones that got second chances in the open date And they were the ones that got on the field on saturday I know last week there was some disappointment with the some of the news of guys that weren't back healthy that you were hoping to get back For that game after the by week. What's the outlook this week with some of those guys generally and the health of your team overall to get back Closer to full strength. Well, we've kind of i've gone past those guys waiting for him because you know You just can't you can't measure when mother nature is going to let you come back So There there the hope hope doesn't get it done. So we just got to keep moving and when they're back They're back, but right now it's it's I don't count on them because of When they didn't make it back during that open date then then there seems to be more to the situation than maybe Initially thought as you put in those x's and o's throughout the week and you do the work that it takes to get ready for a valley game What will you look for from your team? During the week to signal that they have as you said put that game behind them And look to head now to move on to that next step against seltakota And i'm going to give you the same answer just going to take the tough toughness and the discipline and and and then the The resilience to continue to do a day and playing and play out. So it's it's it's not just for a play It's for it's it's a lifestyle. So the discipline and and the toughness Is a lifestyle and that's that's what that's what we have to get thanks to head coach mark farley for his time this week The panther point of view is your spot for all things panther Athletics from the uni panther football show in the fall to the hoops and family podcast in the winter and everything in between Like and subscribe to the panther point of view to never miss any of the great content from uni athletics My special guest this week on the uni panther football show is senior tight end lane prior You think back on hawaii now that we're back and and you got your feet back on the under you What uh what was kind of the best part best memory that you're taking away from that experience being out there All the best memory I would say just being with the team like in a different place like that You know getting the practice out there. Obviously the game was fun I mean even though it wasn't how we wanted to go. I mean the game was fun Just playing in a a way different place. You know compared to you know, I well, you know, it feels like you're in a different world over there So it was pretty fun. Just you know getting you know competing in a different area It's way different than the dome. That's for sure. You don't have cornfields surrounding. Yeah, so just cool that type of experience, you know Well, you think you'd go back at some point in a in a non football capacity Do you get a little itch to see a little bit more of hawaii whether it's a different island or anything like that? Ah I don't know. We'll see. I don't know. I kind of like it here to be honest, but maybe someday. We'll see So well, let's let's go to Iowa and you growing up uh tell folks where you grew up and uh and what you guys away from football Because football is a big part of it. We'll get to that too with you in high school But uh what was growing up like for lane prior out there in western, Iowa? Yeah, so I grew up in wood by in Iowa, which is a really small town about 1200 people Uh graduated with 32 people in my class Played eight-man football. So like a really small high school everyone knows everybody so I love that part of it Um, I grew up on a farm. Uh, that was my whole entire life really other than football and sports So, you know growing up on a farm Uh doing all sorts of that work and like I always always told people's like playing sports is always fun Because otherwise it was gonna be you know doing work with my dad and he never took it easy on me. That's for sure Okay, give us the two ends of the spectrum. What was the farm work that even if you didn't like it, maybe you did like it What was the farm work that that you did that you could enjoy the most? And then what was the farm work that was the absolute bottom of the list that you would want to do if you could never do it again? Um, the best is probably just like this time of year harvest. You I always love, you know, combine and corn and beans I was always the funnest The worst I remember we had this one field and there was these old like cement fence posts that were like a hundred pounds each And my grandpa and I he was in the tractor, of course But we pulled out probably a mile long of these fence posts all day That was probably just about the worst thing because we had to go pull him all out with the tractor Then he drove by with the truck and I had to pick up a mile long of these hundred pounds cement fence posts So that was probably the one memory that comes in mind. That was probably the worst thing I ever had to do So you talk about this time and being out there for harvest like I have very a little to know farming experience But I did for like a summer when I was a kid out in california We lived on a dairy farm and so part of that was alfalfa and so there was you know So my dad would be out there and he'd take me a couple times and it was peaceful like, you know Your your role is that what you liked about it? What was that experience like what drew you to that part of this time of year that you really liked? Yeah, it is super peaceful It's like you get to see all the work from like putting the crop in the ground and like all you know Taking care of it with the spring and the fertilizer all that And then when you finally get taken out of the ground and you like see the fruit of all your labor, you know It's kind of fun and and it is peaceful, you know Just combine the corn and you know taking it into the bend or taking it to town. It's just peaceful. It's fun Yeah, you mentioned the eight-man football what I mean What was that like like, you know the team that the kids never leave the field right like there The kids just played both ways was that you what was that experience like for your eight-man days? Yeah, I mean you play both ways. I mean for the most part most teams, but Well, I mean eight-man football you go. It's all small school. So it's usually not very high numbers So yeah, you play both sizes of all Um, it you know, it really is the same game in a sense Other than like terminology I feel like is way different because I mean you have three less people in the field So like a lot of football terminology is not the same So that's the big difference. I would say but it's a really fast game just because I mean there's I mean you score a lot more You have 20 less yards You score a lot more because it's I feel like once you get to the edge and eight-man football you're kind of gone because you're lacking You know three defensive players But I mean it's the same game in the sense you gotta you gotta you know catch the ball run the ball and tackle So it's the same game, but it's just a lot faster And it's just kind of different how you play it. I feel like my favorite quote that I found was from your high school coach talking about you and your brother Wyatt like he called you guys the most prolific past catching duo in eight-man history with him as the quarterback and you as the receiver What was that like the the connection that you guys had and the ability you guys had to just go out there and dominate? Well, I got to make fun of my brother for this because when I was younger I used to be the quarterback back when I was in trying to think like third fourth grade. I was the quarterback and he was a wide receiver And then I don't know what happened when he got the junior high. He just forgot how to catch a ball I think so then we had to switch because he couldn't catch a football So I gotta give him a I gotta make fun of him a little bit always telling that he only played quarterback because he couldn't catch But no, he was he was a great quarterback. We just had a really good connection And I feel like he all he he forced fed me the ball, which was nice I mean sometimes I might have not been open he still threw it to me, but it worked out of a lot of times But yeah, it was fun, you know All the time in the yard we'd play together and just even my two younger brothers their point in high school now But just my time that we just you know played in the yard just for fun And then we got to do it on friday nights together So it was very it was very sweet and it's a memory that will cherish forever Well and some of the reasoning for you ended up as a recipe you were bigger, right? Like you were a couple inches taller and a little bigger like this was that Is that just one of you taking after one parent versus the other one what happened there? What's with the disparity in the size and did that continue with your other brothers? I don't know what it is funny because my younger brothers there's one a lot bigger He plays offensive lines, so he's actually bigger than me even and then the other one plays quarterback But I don't know I think why it always says that he got the brains and I got the bronze So it may be a little bit like that like he's in a he's an accountant now and yeah, he does really well with that So maybe just a little bit of that but That's good. Oh, man. That's good. What so okay, so you go from eight man like you said some terminology difference Obviously there's three less guys on each side. So there's the the specific differences But when you were gonna go play at the next level Was that always a foregone conclusion with you was there something in the back of your mind that was like well I'm playing eight man. Am I really gonna be able to go and play at this high level? What was that process even thinking even before you ended up going to you and I what was the process thinking about going to the next level from eight man football? You know, I never had a look I never had a lot of doubts what I could do But like if I listened to the outside noise for sure because there wasn't a lot of people that were you know Making that jump when I was in high school from eight man to like a you know high profile program like you and I So I didn't have a lot of doubts personally, but like a lot of people around me, you know Like if I listened to it, yeah, they thought you know, it was kind of crazy But and and even like a lot of college teams like you and I was actually the only College team that was going to let me play tight end I had division two schools that told me that I wasn't this or that to play tight end for them So coach Farley was the only coach that saw that in me which I'll forever be grateful for because I think it worked out pretty well But yeah, it was it was They were if I listened to the outside noise, I think you know I could have drawn me in a different way, but my parents were always very supportive and my family was always great about that So I think that made the transition a lot easier Walk us through how you and I obviously how do you even get to the point where you're having the conversation that okay We will let you play offense. Where did the connection come from? Where did you and I kind of hit your radar as a place to even pursue and then obviously get down the line where they were Going to be the ones that that would let you do what you want. Yeah, big shout out to kane Thompson He used to be one of jeds assistant strength coaches here and he's from my hometown He actually played football you and I I can't remember what years probably around 07 I would guess around that time area So he played here, but that was when woodwind still played 11 man football So it wasn't quite as small But he made the jump he played here And then he was actually still at you and I as a strength coach when I was a senior Or would have been I was a junior in high school and then he moved back when I was a senior in high school And he kind of like pushed it along like hey guys like there's this guy in our hometown lane prior that You know, he's he's getting contacted from some college coaches and I think you need to take a look at him So I think it's a big shout out to him is kind of what got the ball rolling a lot, you know for me to go to you and I Now when you talk to coach? Farley about coming here and he says yes, you can do tied in Was there a conversation about how you would do that? Because obviously the other side you're getting recruited to play linebacker and be on the other side of the ball and do that Where was there was there a conversation about hey? I can bring this type of tenacity like you had to the offensive position and kind of be a violent type player on that side of the ball too I think he kind of just saw it because I remember having a phone call conversation with coach Farley and he was like You know, I know a lot of people see you as defense and we did too But after you know hearing what you want to do and like looking through your film He's like I see you being a tied in for us And like kind of in the role that I've been taking kind of like a full-back role where a lot of blocking a lot of violence But still I mean I played wide receiver for my first three years of high school before I played running back So he's like I can see you have the ability, you know run and catch passes But I for sure see you there. So it's kind of a more coach Farley I think that sawed in me before anyone else did Well now you come down the line and he's consistently when I've asked about you over now Just my three years here. He talks about certainly the last two years So you kind of epitomize pant their football in the way you play the toughness you play with the edge that you bring The off the field the way you're dedicated to building yourself up When you hear him give that kind of praise and say say that about you what goes through your mind About where you've been able to put yourself now in your career at UNI Well, I mean it means a lot because I don't feel I feel like there's no higher praise You can get around here than coach Farley saying words about you like that So it does mean a lot because I I do put you know I put my heart and soul into this program So it feels really good to get recognized from him because I mean I love the training aspect of everything I loved of being able to better myself And that's why I feel like I fit in so good here because that's what UNI is about You know is known here was the five-star recruit out of high school because otherwise you wouldn't be here So it's kind of like that's just a UNI way You know to just keep your head down and just grind and turn yourself into a five-star I'm only fascinated or I've been fascinated by kind of the development of tight ends Specifically in kind of the way the panthers operate because when I got here Alex was kind of the pass catching tight end you were out there in two tight end sets But for the most part it was blocking and then that started to share a little bit last year And then of course now you have Derek and you're the passing guy on the edge and moving around What do you like about that process knowing that if all goes well Derek will get his shot then to move Maybe the next guy. What do you like about how that's kind of set up for tight end specifically with the way you guys operate? Yeah What I like around here is I feel like as a tight end you got a block before you can get the rock So, you know, you got you got to get your feet wet. That's how you get in the game I feel like if you're not willing to block and you know, put your head down and you know get a little bit dirty Then you're not going to get the rock So I kind of like it, you know, that's how you get onto the field And then you can prove yourself, you know in your pass catching ability after that Was that Derek's catch at hawaii when you had a block that absolutely truck somebody like and like in that instance When he does get his chance on a play that gets called for him How fun is that to then reverse course and be the guy that's the lead blocker for your other side in? That's I mean, that's what it's all about like we always talk like hey this one I'm trying extra hard on because you're getting it and vice versa We always talk about it because you we know when the play is called, you know Who it's you know who your primary target is if it goes, you know as planned? So it's like yeah, well we talked about that all the time even with Alex last year It's like all right. I'm gonna step up and make this block for you know, you go make a play So that is fun You brought up the never-asky game and obviously where you grew up there western half of Iowa And I know you had a lot of people it was funny I happened to glance up right from where we were which was way up and then across the way There's even more people right you were obviously on the field You know how high that wasn't I happened to look up right as like six prior jerseys were walking up the stairs I saw it split in 45s and how fun was that for obviously people that you grew up around? I'm sure Nebraska was a big deal I'm sure they were playing Iowa fans, but you're right there How big of a deal was that to be able to go to Memorial Stadium and play a game there like you were able to? Oh, yeah, that was super cool I mean there were so many people there and just like the amount of people like after a game that texted me Whether they're at the game or just watched at home Like just tell me like how proud of me they were and everything it was it was super cool And like yeah, like there's a lot of Nebraska fans by where we grew up My high school football coach was a huge Nebraska fan But he even wore a prior jersey to the game of you and I so now it was great. Yeah, I really enjoyed that That'll be a memory that I'll take home forever I mean that was that was I mean, it's quite a stretch like I mean you're on the other side of it now But like that's that's a heck of a stretch to play Nebraska and the do Hawaii and that's I mean I love you. We're gonna get to do that Let's talk some Well, you just you know, we had to pause because your coach is called you and you know What what's it been like on that side with some new coaches there? Obviously you've got coach Nelson still there coach Austin still there on the offensive side But pretty much everybody else changing over you know into this season What's it been like getting to know those guys and what do you like about what they've brought to the mix on that offensive side of the goal? No, there's it's been great I mean, it's always great to take you know the coaching from the past coaches that we've had You know in the new one. So there's always you know constant learning And they're always bringing new stuff to the table But yeah, I love our new coaches like coach full curts our tight ends coach He's been great for us. You know, he was he was a guy that's played in the NFL For you know a handful of years and so he brings a lot of experience to the table And along with all the other coaches vlawney and uh tensley All those guys are bringing so much experience and like different different experiences As well to like, you know our offense So it's great to be able to pull from like such a wide variety of different coaches So you're always picking up new things What do you think the ceiling is for this offense and what you guys can do once you once you find a stride and hit a stride And what gives you the confidence that that you guys are going to get there sooner than later? Yeah, I feel like, you know, if once we do what we you know, we know we're capable of I think we can be one of the best offenses in the country I mean like we've seen flashes of it here and there But we just never been able to put it all together yet and hopefully by the time this airs We'll be able to say yeah, we have put it all together But yeah, I think this offense is capable of great things I mean our running game and you know going into going into the season We didn't think it was going to be our running game that was You know the stable point of our offense and we thought it was going to be our past game But you know going into the first couple of games like wow like we can really run the ball And as soon as we get our passing game to like what it was in the spring Because we're throwing the ball all over the yard Like I feel like this offense could for sure could be one of the best You're in such a unique you're you're positioned and you in fact in or in a unique position where You know, you're a part of blocking schemes with a really good offensive line And then of course you do other things as well in that tied in role I was talking yesterday recorded interview with Moa Loa. So we're talking to a defensive guy, right? And I asked him what motivates this year's team just you know very broad what motivates this year's team And his answer was the offensive line and like the way they work and and their their effort and output What do you see from from those five starters? But also that whole group along the offensive line that they kind of echoes what mo would say and and it helps drive this team Yeah, our offensive line is obviously great and it always has been since i've been here But that's just a group, you know When they you know, they put in all the work they do and just you see the effort they put into every single play And they don't you know, they don't get the attention that they deserve obviously because they're you know, they're after one putting out stats So it's just like when you see those guys, you know putting in that effort every single play For us to go get to make plays, you know, they do it selflessly So it's like you really want you really want to like um be great for them because you know They're they're doing great. It's just you know up to us to go out there and make the plays So that you know, we can get recognition, you know, so we can give it all back to them So as a senior and a guy that's that's been around now and a leader on this team How do you kind of define how you try to lead this team and and what you try to do to put everybody else in like you said Those spots to succeed and bring the whole team along Me personally, I like to just try to lead by example Like I'm going to try to, you know, go out every single day off season and season and just try to give it my all, you know Obviously, you can never be perfect. You know, everyone has off days But I try to be a guy that's you know every single day trying to you know, give it my all and Just put in effort every single play every single practice every single workout Let's do some quick hitting ones. Uh, who's the teammate right now that you're closest to Closest to I probably say tucker Langenberg. We've been roommates ever since freshman year So that's probably my guy right there. Was that just a role of the dice you guys happen to be roommates? How how'd that come about and how did you stick with it all these years now? Yeah, just just a role of the dice you just happened to end up being roommates and you know, we've we haven't ever since What uh, so what about if I asked tucker? What's uh, what's the best thing about lane that you appreciate that's helped you guys stay friends? What do you think he would say? Oh, I don't know I don't know. That's a good question for him. I don't know what he'd say What about you when I when I ask him what what would your reasoning for tucker be? Yeah, he's just a guy that like always You know always willing to help you out or like always willing like You know, just you know, whether it's you know, you want to work out. You want to go hang out You know, he's always a guy that'll be there for you. You know All right, who's the teammate that is the funniest funniest teammate the funniest teammate I've ever had was Alex allen But this is not this year's team. Everyone knows that guy was hilarious This year I would say Um just our offense to line like Blake uh roper and volk those guys are hilarious. They're always cracking me out All right, so small town hometown like so I don't you know, you know, I'm not gonna despair I don't know what you guys had for options But what was was there a hometown food like a restaurant that you guys would go to what's the go to if you went back? Or is it just your mom's cooking if you're going back there? What's the go to food back home? My mom's cooking for sure don't want to don't want to let that slip under the radar My mom's cooking for sure Um if i'm around home, I'd say for breakfast the dairy sweet in town. They have a really good breakfast And then if I lunch, I would say Good fellas and would buy and they always have some good steaks and stuff like that. So those are my two What was the breakfast place called? It was called the dairy sweet. So you think like ice cream and like burgers and stuff like that But they do like just like homemade breakfast. That's really good So talking bacon eggs and hashbreads and all that kind of stuff That's all that stuff. Um, what's sort of great? All right, we'll have to do that. I don't know if I'll take a road trip west just to go through wood by i guess at this point There you go All right, so it's game day Is there anything that you just have to do on game day or any routine that you have uh going before a game? Um, I would say the only like routine. I got to have my electrolyte drinks You know, I PD a light stuff like that because otherwise I'll cramp up So that's that's kind of my game day routine one the night before one the day of All right one day of gets it done plus the night before all right. So if you take out coaches specific football coaches or any sport coaches Um, who's the person that's had the biggest impact on your career outside of a coaching staff? I would say absolutely my dad even though he was a coach of mine In the past my dad and my older brother for sure just always pushing me to be great And my brother's really the one who you know put that work ethic in me at a young age Because I was always the one kind just wanted to have fun and slack off He was always the one put me in line Back in the day when we have to get up for weight room in the morning He was always the one getting up turning off the alarm. He'd be like laying let's go Let's go. I was like, oh, come on. Why I want to go back to sleep But so I would say my dad and my older brother Wyatt were probably the two most And that was the other quote I saw about you and Wyatt playing together is that You were a little more of the you know at times the cut up a little loosey goosey But Wyatt could give you a look that would kind of set you straight was that was that how it went for you guys more often than not? That's how it went for sure. I mean he was he was always a guy that put me in the line and I'm thankful for that because I needed that at the young age for sure All right, and did you so again, this is this is not to take anything away from the speed But I imagine there's some guys on the team you're fast right you're fast you're big So there's some other guys at other positions that could probably beat you in a foot race But in high school did you or did you not qualify for state in the 102 meter 200 meter dash? I did yep, I did I competed freshman through senior year I think I qualified in four events for state track every single year So I threw I threw shot put in discus my senior year But before that I just threw discus so I was always a runner Did you like that? I mean was the was the running something that you enjoyed a lot I I did believe it or not. My favorite race used to be the 400 hurdles I was pretty good at that, but and then I got a little bit too big by the time I senior year So I didn't get around it anymore That seems to be one of the most coordination specific track events you can do Did you find that to be true and what was your key to being good at hurdles? It was like I wasn't even good at the 110 highs because those are high and that takes a lot of flexibility So I was better at the 400 lows because it is that is a very technical race And you got to be flexible You got to be technical when you got to be fast to be good at it Close to done if not done to a certain extent with school and then your major What is your major? What have you been studying and then what do you want to do with that? My major is exercise science. Um, but I don't know if I think after I'm done playing football I just want to go back and farm even though I might have to pick up some more heavy fence posts But I still think that's what I want to do when I get done. So back to western Iowa on the family farm. Yep Could not could not even imagine doing it. All right. Just the last couple Uh, what's been your biggest highlight as a panther so far to this point still with games to go here this year Biggest highlight as a panther. I remember what I can't remember what year it was When we beat south Dakota state when they were ranked I can't remember what we at their rank they might have been even ranked number one or number three something like that But when we beat them at their hobo days That was that was sweet. That was fun. I think that was my freshman year. So 21 Uh, all right then final one so, you know, you come up on the close of your career Obviously this season still to go but but you're coming up on that When you look at how you would define your time in panther football and what panther football is How would you explain that to people when you get down the road and you're looking back at your career? I would for sure say panther football is all about being tough And it's all about working hard. I mean what we do in the off season with jed And like just like the practices that coach farley puts us through like if you're not tough And you're not willing to work hard. You're not willing to be a panther So that's kind of the two things that I would say that I'll for sure always take down the road from playing for this program Thanks to lane for taking the time to join me this week You've been listening to the you and i panther football show each week get a dose of the panthers on the gridiron As you hear from head coach mark farley and special guests Don't forget tune in to the panther radio network pregame with me jw Cox and scott peterson starting this week at one o'clock from inside the dakota dome in vermilion As the panther is visit the oats of south dakota the panther football show is a production of panther sports properties from leerfield Thanks for listening go panthers [Music] bet you didn't think this would be the year you achieved the dream of flight i fly indoor skydiving lets you experience the freedom and thrill of flying no experience or wings required i fly is fun for people of all ages and abilities And it's the perfect choice for a night out with friends family birthday parties corporate events or even just celebrating a thursday You'll never forget your first time flying go to iflyworld.com and use code take flight for 20% off.
