A message paid for by veterans for all voters. Listen to this message from Ted Delacath, former Army infantryman and Ranger qualified platoon leader active in the Army Reserves. When I enlist in the Army, I swore an oath to this country, not any political party. That's why I'm interested in citizens' ballot measures around the country to reduce the power of political parties. Colorado votes on one too. Right now, election rules allow political insiders to hand-pick party nominees. It's the reason we're usually stuck voting for the lesser of two evils. Colorado's plan creates an open primary where all candidates appear on one primary ballot. Every voter has the freedom to vote for any candidate, no matter which party. The Colorado plan advances four candidates to the general election, not two. That means more choices for voters in the primary and general election. Get the facts. Elections belong to the voters, not political parties. Paid for by veterans for all voters, Anthony Haas registered agent. The use of military rank and job titles does not implant doors meant by the Department of the Army or the Department of Defense of this ballot measure. (upbeat music) - All the airlines, and welcome to the International Riffle reported with me, Michael, 20 men. I'm Riffle. And I'm delighted to bring you the two and two jets travel to London to first see foreign or Vikings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. - Yeah, I don't love to be in this game, but yeah, I did try and get tickets, but I was unsuccessful, and then I was actually, that's a good boiler. Sorry about that, my boiler was just warming upside deposit. Yeah, yeah, I was unsuccessful getting tickets. Yes, I was willing to pay the stupid price that was going for a resale ticket. It was like 250 to 300 for the, for the 78 pound ticket, but yeah, so I was looking, checking the resale and all that. And we ended up getting a really good deal to go to Nashville. And when we worked it out, the accommodation, the travel, and the NFL tickets in London for accommodation travel and NFL tickets in Nashville only worked out to be like a couple of hundred pounds more. So we decided not to go to London for three nights and instead we're going to Nashville in November. And for the week, and we're going to the Titans and Vikings game. It works out even better as well, 'cause we've just been a credits fan. We managed to fit a Predator's Jets game in on the Saturday as well, so it's there. No, it's all worked out the better than I haven't gone, but yeah, I wish I'd gone to that game. It looked amazing. So let's get into this game. And the first quarter looked a bit slow to start off with Vikings going early field goal. And, you know, it was a bit sort of a bit edgy, but a bit we just saw a test in what's going on here. And some Daniel took a quite a big hit on the fourth drive, I think it was. He ended up winded and won't be hold out from out of the woodwork, Pops, Nick Mullins, which I'll say, oh no, it's us. I hope he had unbroken rib, 'cause he did look like he took a big hit. And I'll say this, this is not what we need. But luckily it was just winded, but Nick Mullins came in and, you know, giving him his juice. He did a nice over past the end runs, got the first down, gave us the time to get some Daniel back in. But then, you know, some Daniel just went to give a hand off to Chandler, he fumbled the ball, the Vikings turned it over and yeah, you know, all Nick Mullins's good work was undone. With the Jets in possession there, I actually start this on my notes. You know, one of the next throw there and Rogers did, Lazad went to catch it and hit him in the face. You know, it went through his hands, hit him in the face. And I put a little note next to that, and this could be the frame of the day. But on the next player, Van Gengel just read and John's perfect. If you're not, if you go back and look at this, it's just a perfect example of how to read the game. He just knew that Ed and John's was going to throw it right behind him, took a couple of steps back, and it's like, you know, he just convinced Ed and John so that he was the dude he wanted to throw it to, and ended up getting a pick six, which I'm expecting more from Van Gengel this season, to be honest, you know, this guy is fantastic. He knows Brian Florence's defense. Inside out, he knows what he wants him to do, he knows where to be, and yeah, it's his second this season, I think, first in was, you know, quite good, but this is nothing, it was extra special, in deception and pick six by Van Gengel. And then the quarter finishes with another, with an inception thrown by Rogers, and he's looking really pissed off, so he'll finish the quarter at 10 to zero to the Vikings. So the second quarter starts, and the Vikings are at three and 12. And some downhill switches that blared the line of scrimmage, and, you know, gets it out to Justin Jefferson. But, you know, path interference, called on South Garda, managed to get the Vikings to the 42-yard line. Then try and get a big cocky, and they end up turning over on downs. The Jets, again, they end up getting the first down of the game on the next drive, but then they also turn over and downs at four and two. Then on the third drive of this quarter, the Vikings get two pass interference calls on Justin Jefferson, and one holding call, which, you know, just basically gifts him a touchdown, puts him on the one-yard line, and they're, you know, over then CJ Ham, just rushes right through the lot of them for a Russian touchdown. All of it, when CJ Ham gets a touchdown, is like a wrecking ball. You know, it's just a big unit that shouldn't be running, and, ah, it's brilliant when he gets in. So that leaves the Vikings 17 and zero midway through the second quarter. On the fifth drive of this quarter, the Vikings were held to punt at one minute 36, left on the clock. The Jets returned the punt to the 31-yard line, with one minute 22 to go. And, you know, then, let's add, again, like I mentioned before, he has a nightmare. I think this is actually the third big catch, so it is dropped or slipped through his hands. Then, you know, the next play after that, every deems himself, 'cause he does catch the touchdown. The game finishes at half time with 17 and seven to the Minnesota Vikings. Second half starts, I missed the first minute because I was on the toilet. So, I caught second drive, which was ended in a Jets punt. Then on the third drive, summed down again, switches the play at the line of scrimmage. You know, it seems to work because when we do that, we're getting the first down. But that play again ended in a punt, which we managed to pin the Jets within the five-yard line. Now, this play would have been perfect if, you know, when we'd forced the Jets to punt, we hadn't rushed the punter, and the Jets ended up with the ball back. But on the next Jets drive, you know, they're going to a dangerous position, but, you know, Alan Lazar drops the touchdown pass again. You know, there's like four big drops he's had so far. The Jets set up for a field goal, which makes it 17 to 10. Vikings start the fourth quarter on the four-yard line thanks to another penalty on Justin Jefferson. But you can really tell that the Vikings have missed an errand Jones at this point. I think it went off. Maybe midway through the second quarter with a hamstring injury. And, you know, tight-channelers doing good. He's good at what he does, but he doesn't give some downhill the extra options and Jones does a nut shown in our offense. But the Vikings are forced to punt again, and again, this time, we've forced the Jets back within, like, seven yards. With the Jets pinned pending Ivan Pierce Jr. gets a massive sack, meaning that the Jets need the punt, given the Vikings possession around about the 45-yard line. On this next drive though, Donald's passing is a bit off. You know, he's over thrown. It is slightly off to the left. It's all a bit weird, but, you know, we end up moving over the field and again, another field goal. Which makes the game 20 to 10 to the Vikings. Next drive is a big sack by Phillips forcing the Jets to punt. But next drive by the Vikings, the offense is struggling and Sam Donald's frozen interception again from another overflow. After the interception, the Jets work the way up to one and goal, and yeah, they managed to convert through Garrett Wilson with a touchdown pass. This makes it 20 to 17 with a four minute left on the clock. This next drive is a very big important drive, not just for the game, but really for Sam Donald to sort of prove that he's not just gonna try and win the game in the first half and then sit back, 'cause, you know, that's the pattern that I'm seeing. And, you know, it all started out right, big catch by Jefferson, and you ended up wanting 20 at one point. We got a big flow to a tight end mud, but then we had to settle for a field goal, making it 23 to 17 with pretty much two minutes left on the clock for the Jets to come back and see what they could do. Start the two minute warning with big players from the Vikings defense, putting the Jets under a lot of pressure, resulting in and Rodgers thrown for an interception. And then the Vikings just took it for a victory formation in the last minute. So got some stats on this. For runners, it pre-solved in really too much, and Jones got about 29 yards before he went off injured. So the running wasn't really part of the game for this one year, especially when you look at the stats, he got for Aaron Rodgers. He went for 29 completions for 54 attempts. 244 yards, two touchdowns with three interceptions, and he got sacked three times. Sam Donald went for 14 completions, under 31 attempts, 179 yards, zero passing touchdowns, one interception, four sacks. With the wide receivers, Justin Jefferson got six catches, 14 targets for 92 yards, and Guy Wilson got 13 catches for 22 targets, 101 yard, one touchdown. As I had, and C.J. Ham got the other two touchdowns in the game. The Vikings are now five and off for the season. It sounds good. I remember last time was I remember 2016, maybe. But they're also four and no in London. You know, they played four times in London, one four times in London. The Jets, they were sitting at two and three, and they are one and three in London. So they've also played four times, but lost three. The Vikings have a week off now. They're on a bi-week. They will return in week seven against the Detroit Lions, which has potential to be Game of the Week, especially with Hockinson returning, hopefully that game. It's a return game for Hockinson, but more importantly, it's a game, I think, where we're going to see where we stand in the NFC North. It's always for the day again, I think, this season, and the Detroit Lions, I think, is the biggest hurdle that we're going to have to overcome. Do what we would is or do what we'd else. You know, the Vikings look deadly early on, as was said before. It seems like we'd just like to finish the game in the first half and let the defense take care of it in the second half, which, you know, when it works, it works, it's good. That's fine, but, you know, it's a bit too. I'd rather have a plan B. And Aaron Jones is, you know, more important than what you think, it's not just a runner. But with the return of Hockinson, you know, if we do end up missing Jones, hopefully he will feel that loud because he's also a very good, safe pair of hands to flow to. The Jets will be playing again next week against Buffalo Bills on Monday night football, and, you know, the Jets look good, the defense looks solid. They just have, you know, a few problems keeping all to the ball. They were getting a lot of pass interference penalties that were hurting them a lot of the times when you look at really what killed the Jets in this game. It wasn't the Vikings being that good. They were dropping passes. They were giving away penalties that God was into position where we could pen them in with field goals. No, no, it was a very, very good start to the International Series effort, especially Vikings winning, 5-0, that's crazy. See, I'm not getting too excited. I can see the flaws in the Vikings game. I can see how they can be exploited by better teams. Let's just hope to fix them before we start getting to them. Because, yeah, I wouldn't mind a good run. I would like to see some of them get a good run. So, like I said, I will be back in a couple of weeks with the Jags vs. the Bears from the next International game. And, yeah, just have a good week. Anybody, green wages, we'll drop it next week. If you want to get on that and laugh at it, I'll crap on doing a gambling. Yeah, it's always good for a laugh on a Sunday morning. And, yeah, so, stir-fry, everybody. Stir-fry. A message paid for by veterans for all voters.
