[MUSIC PLAYING] Welcome to October 6 on the National League Calendar. Today, we're honoring the mentors who shape our lives in savoring a versatile global dish. Happy National Coaches Day. Coaches do more than just guide athletes. They inspire, motivate, and teach life lessons. Consider the story of Pat Summitt, one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time. Through her tenure at the University of Tennessee, she not only led her team to numerous victories, but also empowered countless young women to pursue their dreams with resilience and determination. Today, let's honor all the coaches who dedicate their time to helping others achieve their best. [MUSIC PLAYING] Of course, all the coaches mean beyond sports, too, right? Absolutely, life coaches, professional coaches. My hats go off to you, and thank you so much. Are there eating coaches? We should probably find you one. That would be great. From Italian pasta to Japanese ramen, noodles come in countless shapes and flavors. One interesting story is about Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant noodles. After witnessing the devastation of World War II, Ando sought to create an affordable and easy-to-prepare food to help combat hunger. In 1958, he introduced chicken ramen, and later, cupped noodles. These innovations revolutionize the way people eat globally. Today, enjoy your favorite noodle dish, and appreciate the comfort it brings, because it's National Noodle Day. Mr. Noodle's going to eat noodles. [CHEERING] Yeah, don't forget your noodles. Noodle doesn't love a good noodle. I do not know the answer to that. I think noodles are set to universal dish. They are. Oh, my gosh. Your favorite way? After going to Japan, I have a new appreciation for ramen noodles, all the delicious stuff you can put in them. Yeah. Yeah, I'm still-- I had to go traditional spaghetti yet. It is still one of my favorites. It's because you haven't been to Japan. That's probably true. I'm Latoya Johnson. I'm Marla Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. And join us for all of our adventures on Facebook and Instagram, a destination celebration show. Until next time, keep celebrating.
