Doubleview Gold Corp's Hat Project Drilling Program Exceeds 7,500 Meters, Awaiting Assay Results

Doubleview Gold Corp CEO Farshad Shirvani joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company’s 2024 drilling program at the Hat polymetallic mineral deposit in Northern British Columbia, which has now surpassed 7,500 meters and is continuing. Shirvani shared with Proactive that the first assay results from the 2024 drilling season are expected soon.

The drilling program aims to expand the mineral resource, address areas with limited drilling data, and extend the deposit's lateral and depth boundaries, which remain open in all directions. Visual results from the drilling align with the projections from the block model, giving confidence in the resource's potential. The Hat deposit contains key critical minerals defined in Canada's Critical Minerals Strategy, including copper, cobalt, and possibly scandium, along with other minerals. This ongoing work is expected to significantly enhance understanding of the deposit and move it closer to potential future development.

All right, welcome back inside our proactive newsroom and joining me now is Farshad Shavani. He is the CEO of Doubleview Gold Corp. And Farshad, you're obviously on site in the course shack. Yes, good morning. Yes, I am. I am at work on the property. I'm your drilling. I'm in the news today. Thank you for having me. Yeah, good to have you along as well. So you've exceeded about 7,500 meters. So let's just remind everyone a little bit about the the drill program that's going on at the Hat Project. Yes, this drill program that we have right now, it's about increasing the size of the pit on the sides and also at depth and places that we had a lighter number of drill holes or very rare. We have drilled all of those. And what is amazing that all of those with the block model that they can precisely exact exactly as we projected, but beyond the pits, we were surprised and we have extensions that we're going to add that to it. And soon, we're going to have news releases on that as well. Yeah, and you've been able to remain having everything opened in all directions. Is that right? We haven't been able to close it. We've been quite honest. We went to the east side of it. It's about 1.6 kilometer from the other side and increased by about 3,400 meters. I thought, okay, we put a few holes in there, so we know that's the limit, but it wasn't the limit. Yeah, you're obviously looking for a cobalt, you're looking for copper, but also scandium. And I think I want to just ask you a bit more about that because we've seen the price of scandium. And for people that aren't familiar with it, that it's something that's rare right now, especially where potentially you have it at your project. Yes, tentatively by the look of it, by the size of it, by the resource potential, we have the largest scandium deposit in the world. This is hands-on. And also, it has another criteria. It uses the acid that comes from the copper once we produce the copper even with our shorter acid. We have to bring in more acid. And the third thing is the temperature is low, the pressure is low, and the best and the cheapest scandium we can produce. And also in North America so far, no one has done it. And in our process, we found out that we are very successful on that, but the final work on that is gone to the lab. And we're going to get it. Hopefully, we're going to have that. And I'm hoping we get one of the material out of it. Most probably, it's going to most probably, it's going to be a scandium phosphate, which is one of the higher ranks of the scandium and marketable. Yeah. So again, you've surpassed 7500 meters, drilling is ongoing. And when you're hoping to get some some initial results out. Okay, the drilling actually right now, we are about 7800 meters right now as we speak, maybe 7900 meters. And we're going to have the acid gradually coming in very, very soon. Okay, we'll leave it there. Farshad, thanks very much. Enjoy your time at site. And we'll talk again soon. Okay. Of course. Thank you very much. All right, there's Farshad. Yeah, talk to you as well. Farshad, Shravani, the CEO of Double Ugo Corp.
