The university students held protesting yesterday in support of the terrorists cowardly attack on Israeli civilians when you were ago reminded me of an anti-pipeline protest at a gas station a few years ago. And these folks were very upset about pipelines. So I asked them, how they got to the gas station? Did they walk? Did they ride a bike? And one of them said, oh, I see what you're doing. You know, there are such things as electric cars. And I said, wow, great, do you have one? I'd love to see it. No, they conceded. Then they got in their cars, multiple cars, and drove away. They were all virtue signaling, no actual virtue. And so it is with the protests on campuses. Are these sheltered young idealists aware that in supporting Hamas, they support a group that is in direct opposition to many causes they no doubt hold dear, like women's rights. LGBTQ+ rights, and maybe they'll figure it out when they get out in the real world.
