G'day, friends, it's Blister Guy, and this is episode 1369 of Walk to Walk in Mobile Haster and Podcast. Well, I didn't say the date. What is the date? Oh, I haven't got it in front of me. Hang on, you say it. Oh, 8th. 8th of October. Tuesday the 8th of October. That's right. Anyway, today, the secret to getting to legend. Don't tell anyone, because all the other legend getters out there, they don't want you to know the secret. Don't tell doctors something, so I don't know how this meme is supposed to go, but anyway, this is the secret to getting to legend, this is probably an episode that a lot of people want to hear. Secret to getting to legend. Are you ready? Is playing more games. All right, so anyway, look, it's always a pleasure to have you join me for my Walk to Work. Good luck. Sorry, you want me to expand on that? Oh, okay. Sure. Right. Okay, yes, yes, of course. Sorry, we haven't done gameplay. I guess that's true. Like, okay, getting to legend takes a lot of games. And you might be like, well, it's not just that, surely I have to get better. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, probably true. But also, you know, how you get better? Play a lot of games. Play more games. Like, it really is as simple as that. The big equation here that I think a lot of people underestimate is that it takes a lot of games and not everyone has the time to play a lot of games. On top of that, it's not going to happen overnight. One of the reasons for that is if you start at Bronze 10 with no multiplier, and I don't know that that's how that works. I do believe when you first start out, when you escape the new player ranks and you actually hit the ladder for the first time, I think that you start with a two times multiplier. I think, and I assume that's just so that you get used to the idea of how that works and what it looks like. But if you didn't have that, then I think you have to net 150 wins from Bronze 10 to legend above losses, right? So for every loss, you need an extra win. So 150 wins, but that's a heck of a lot of games, right? But most of the time, nobody is playing from Bronze 10 for the first time to legend in one go because that is, well, there's too many games. But let's say the first month you win some, you get up to like Silver 5 or something silly. That might be too many. I don't know. Maybe Bronze 5, maybe Silver 10. You get that high. The next month, you have a bit more of a multiplier, and that will help the next month. You'll start with a little bit higher, and because you start with like a three times multiplier of four times multiplier, it'll be much easier to climb to Gold 10, for example. And once you've climbed to Gold 10, your multiplier will be improved again, and so on and so on. And so eventually, you'll have improved so that your multiplier is like nine times to ten times. I think if you're going for a legend for the first time, you want to probably have at least a nine times multiplier. It's not a ten times multiplier, and a ten times multiplier is possible. If you win rate is fine, and it will be if you're playing enough games. So once you have a ten times multiplier, which you'll get, believe it or not, by playing a lot of games, you can then be assured that you're now, I guess, optimum conditions for climbing to legend. And yes, yes, I get it. A eleven times multiplier is an optimal condition for climbing to legend, but most people aren't going to have an eleven times multiplier before they get to legend. But believe it or not, I do think it's actually possible, but that's beside the point. I think to do that, you would have to be someone who has already played a heck of a lot of Hearthstone on a different server or something. It just doesn't count for this discussion. Anyway, you're going to look at several months worth of playing a lot of games. Now, if you're someone who can't play a lot of games, because life dictates, you've got parenting, parenting, parenting responsibilities, a heck of a job or something, a lot of travel going. It doesn't even have to be parenting, we care, right? Like looking after our parents and things as they get older, there's a lot of things that can, like, maybe you need to work three jobs or something and playing a little bit of Hearthstone on the side of something you can do. If you can't play a lot of games, I'm not saying you can't get legend. I'm saying it's, you know, it's probably going to be a bit difficult if you can't play too many games. But if you're playing well and you can play enough games, you will. And so it's one of those things that's like, I can't get legend. Why? Because they can't play very many games. So that's fine. That doesn't mean you're bad. You're probably good. You just can't play enough games. That's all. You can't put enough games in to get to legend. Fine. That's not your fault. That's just life. You're still a good Hearthstone player. Like, that's all good. But know that if you are trying to get to legend for the first time, or even again, because maybe you've managed to get legend once before, you're trying to get to legend a second time to prove to yourself it wasn't a fluke, it's going to take a lot of games. And that's okay. And the good thing is, once you play a lot of games, you get a lot of experience in the game. Some people will say, you know, what's something I can do about my gameplay that will mean I have a better chance of getting a legend, say, well, get good, that's the one thing you can do. And I like, and that's obviously an incredibly flippant thing to say, but you get good by playing a lot of games. There is obviously some structural things you could do to maximize the lots of games that you're playing to get better faster. But this is a game, it's not a job, right? Like, I wouldn't worry too much about that. But here are some things that I've done in the past and continue to do that help me get better. And of course, if you get better, you'll get more wins, even if not immediately, even if not in the short term. Like, sometimes you can have a play session where you just be like, I won two games and lost 10. It doesn't mean I suddenly got very bad, it just meant that today was not my day and I was unfortunate. Or I was not playing at optimum performance, like, I was making some mistakes, like, that's entirely possible too, like, and totally within our realm of possibility. When you're talking about getting to legend, it takes a heck of a lot of games. So a small sample of like two in 10, it's just a blip on the radar of a trip to legend. So when I said it takes 150 wins above losses, to get from bronze 10 to legend, if you have no multiplier, I mean, that's true, but that's not what anyone's doing. For example, I counted how many wins you need to get to legend with an 11 times multiplier, and it's 34. And it's also, like, it's not even 34 above the losses, because, you know, at some point obviously you're winning like 11 or 10 stars for each win and a loss, you still only lose one. So you can lose a heck of a lot, like, you can lose a bunch of games and you're still going to need like 40 wins to get to legend, that's a heck of a lot less. Now 40 wins are still a lot, and that's an 11 times multiplier, right? Like, if we divide that across a month, that's at least 10 wins in a week, which I guess is what you need for your win-ranked games, which is play-ranked games now, isn't it? But I mean, like, that's not unreasonable, but also that's an 11 times multiplier, and you can probably effectively not quite double that, but, you know, make 60 if it's a 10 times multiplier, something like that, if you feel like you can't play 60 to 80 games in a month, which, you know, is reasonable to not be able to do that, then a client to legend isn't necessarily for you, and that's fine, like, there have certainly been months, especially early on for me where I was like, I don't know that I can dedicate that many games, actually. These days I usually do, and talking about last episode, the trick to it's just not caring, not giving a flip, just play some games. The trick to getting to legend is to not care about how many games you have played, or you need to play. In fact, it's not, the trick is to not care about your rank at all. In fact, it's to not even care about your win-rate, not even to care about whether you won a specific game. You lose a specific game, you're fine, that happens, you're going to lose some games. This was just one of them, easy-peasy, we'll go on to the next one. The only thing you should really care about is making sure that you're playing good Hearthstone, and the things that I do, I know I said this about five minutes ago, these are the things that I do and didn't get to it, the things that I do to improve what I'm doing is Hearthstone is, what did I do in this game that I could have done better? You'll hear it in this podcast, I do a bit of gameplay at the end, and time permitting, I look back over the game, and listeners have often said, "It's quite remarkable how much record you have of the game and the turns." Sometimes you'll hear that I'm fuzzy on some matters, or I might have even gotten something wrong. Overall, I'm pretty good at recalling what happened in the game, and I'm pretty good at recalling what may have been a critical moment in the gameplay. I think I threw away lethal, by the way, the one where I have plagues in the deck, and I have eruptions in one of the odds, I don't know, like do I trade into the thing and gain for armor. I even mentioned I have a slime in hand that plays a furious fouls, and attacking put my opponent to five, so furious fouls are just lethal, just missed that one, never mind, so it's easy to still make mistakes. Alright, so I'm always thinking, "What was something I could do better in that game?" And it's not even necessarily something that I'm going to recognise in the moment. You don't have to beat yourself up if you can't recognise every time you make a mistake, and you couldn't improve on it. But if you can spot a mistake you get made in any game, you play the game and you made a mistake. If you spotted it, you're getting good. You got good. You are good. You are good. You're already good. You're getting better. And that's what you need to do, and you just have to do that a lot of times. You devote some time to playing Hearthstone, whether you get legend this month, whether you get legend in January next year, it'll happen if you just devote some time to playing some games in Hearthstone and thinking about what it takes to improve the game you just played, and not getting too hung up on the fact that maybe you didn't win the game. Also, make sure you think about games you won and go, "Was there anything better I could have done that game?" Like, "I know I won, right?" Like, clearly. Clearly I'm the LeBron James of Hearthstone here, I won the last game, "Woo, woo, woo!" But I probably could have done that one thing better. That's what you want to be doing. You want to think about, "Well, is there a player who could have made better?" Like, don't stress if you're not. Like, if you're like, "I won the game, I can't be bothered thinking about it." Fine. Totally fine. Totally acceptable. Like, leave that stuff for the day job. Like, care about the things in your day job, care about the things in your family. Don't care too much about Hearthstone, enjoy Hearthstone, because it's a game. But also, try to think if there's anything better you could have done last game, and you'll get better, and before you know it, you'll accidentally be at 11 times multiplier again, because ugh. This month, I have just been playing whatever the event quests for the return to the Chinese to the other thing, where we get the coin, and stuff like that. Like, it's like, "Ah, play 30 shaman." Okay. All right, so I guess I'm playing shaman today, so let's play some shaman. I played a lot of shaman to complete the quest, but that was my day done. Oh, okay. Well, okay. I played shaman. Oh, death night. All right, well, I'll play some death night. Today I'm playing some death night. I played some death night. Oh, I'm out of time. We're done for the day. I'm at Lake Diamond Six now, in standard, because I was just playing stuff for quests. I mean, some of them were like, "Play Major," and I was like, "You know, I feel like playing Major was." I was like, "Well, I don't like Golden Wild." That's what the 8th. I said it was the 8th of October. I'm Diamond Six in standard and Golden Wild, just from playing quests. I can't tell you why I'm distracted in the evenings. I had a good gift, but like, it's just 11 times a silly. The claim is easy. Although, I do kind of need to finish the climb at some point, I guess. Anyway, it's been going well. The trick is not to care. It's just to play some games, keep playing games, and just, you know, when you feel like it, think about what you could have done better. As long as you're thinking about what you could have done better, you will get better. Now, there are some other things to this. Jared Tindler, I think his name is. He was once on the coin-conceived podcast. He's a poker coach. He's very smart, and he says some very smart things. He does say that if you are playing a game and you're half-butting it, I don't want to say the other word. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to. I say bloody, damn sorry. Half-hasing it, right? If you just go on half-way and you keep playing at that level, then you end up, "That is your level. That's your A game." If you play at your C game the whole time, your C game comes to your A game, and then next thing you know, you don't have an A game anymore, your A game is worse. He's like, "You should always practice at your A game." Yeah, he's right, he's right, okay, but we're not trying to win the world championships at Hearthstone here. I mean, if you are, take it more seriously than I do, I guess, but if you just want to get legend, you just want to play a bit better, play a bit better. Don't worry that if you're playing at your C game, because if you're playing your C game but also still trying to improve, trying to find mistakes you made, you're getting better, slowly but surely. This isn't something that we need discipline at, disciplines for everything else in life or whatever. Like, this is for fun, and just try to be a little better and try to make mistakes and just play more games, and you will get to legend. It may not be this month. There are certainly months where I have not get to legend, and often the trick is if I never get legend in a month, which has happened, like the last twist month we had, I didn't get legend. I swear the reason I didn't get there was probably because I wasn't caring. Wow, why is my ... what on earth is this? Wow. I'm in some app I don't recognise, I must have unlocked my phone. What app is that? Google Maps. How is that open? I don't know. Okay. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I don't think I did anything destructive by unlocking my phone and things. Try not to care too much about any of this, and you'll be fine. You'll get legend or you won't. But if you just keep trying to be a little bit better and play more games, you will just get there eventually. I don't think for a second that you'll get the ... oh, look at that, I'm legend. Like clearly, you'll start caring as you get closer, and that's fine too. But the more you play, the closer you are to legend more frequently, the more you're starting going, "I'm not diving too again, all right, that's fine, whatever, I don't care. I don't give a flip." You know? You'll be fine, and you'll get to legend, and it'll be all right. That's the secret. Play more games, and don't care. Don't give a flip. Honestly, that's the secret. That's all there is to it. Like anytime you see posts on social media, someone getting legend, you're like, "Oh, I wish I could do that. Oh, I wish I could get to that rectum." I promise you, the people who are doing that, don't give a flip. They just get there. They just play. Anyway, let's get into the game and actually play some Hearthstone. Top of the list of things I haven't played is like Demon Hunter and Priest. Can't be bothered playing them. I'm sure you don't judge me on that. But next up was Druid, and you know what? I like Druid, and I haven't played Druid in a while, so I'm playing some Druid. Now, I was having a look at Druid lists. Don't I, yeah? I mean, I've played a lot against Druid, right? I don't know if they can sometimes do things like mind control tech now. That's really quite interesting. Mind control tech. Who'd have thought? Go! 2024. Sweet awhile and relax. Hey, huh. Well, look, I'm walking. I'll sit later. If that's all right. Mind control tech, they changed it from being a 3-minute 3-3 that, if your opponent has four or more minions, randomly steal one. To 5-minute 3-3, if your opponent has four or more minions, steal one. There's no random there anymore. You just pick it. I've been on the receiving end of that a few times and got, "Oh, I wish I was playing the Druid that was playing mind control tech." So I was looking at lists. The Druid that plays mind control tech is Highlander Druid, Okie dokie. So, look, apologies to anyone who's like, "Oh, he's playing Reno today." Yeah, I am. I'm playing Reno. Because I don't give a flip. I like Reno. I enjoy it. I haven't played it for a while, so we are playing it today. We're playing Highlander Druid, even if I, it probably is the best Druid at the moment. I don't know. I just feel like playing it. That's what I'm going to do. Okay. All right, where are we? We've got to the game. I just did it clearly. I've turned the volume up. I did my homework. Oh, yeah. We've got a couple of wild decks at the top there because I felt like changing. So, I've been playing Wild. I've been playing Questline Mage in Wild. There are still a few people, more people than I would have thought, playing the Oaken Summons combo Druid thing, and it's like, "Ugh, the kind of decks I like playing probably can't beat there very much. Is there something I could be playing that's better?" I don't know. So, I made a couple of other decks, which probably aren't good against it, but still. Anyway, where are we? Druid. Diamond six and no stars because I think the last couple of games I played a lot. It's fine. Don't care. It doesn't matter. It's going to play a lot of games. Let's go out this highland of druid and see how we go. Clearly, what we want to narrow it in my hand and we want some ramp. We want to ramp a lot. We want to advance our mana crystals so that our opponent feels terrible while we have eight mana crystals and they have five. Ha ha ha. It sucks to be them. Rules to be us. Weird. It's really cold. It's not really cold. My back button's gone, but I'm not seeing my opponent. Oh, there it is. It's like 15 degrees out right now, which is fine. But the last three days, we're like 25, 26 degrees. Mark's difference. But I'm glad it's not that tempting now while I'm walking. You probably didn't hear that, but that are a death knight and we are a druid. We have an opening hand with the coin. Maron the manager. Probably don't want to keep there. Cactus construct. Against the death knight. You know what? I think cactus construct is good here because I have a Malfurion's gift, so we have some ramp. If you also have a pendant of earth, not sure I need pendant of earth, so we're probably going to throw that away. So the question is, does cactus construct into whatever two drop we discover into Malfurion's gift for ramp on turn three? So at turn four, we have five mana and a coin. So maybe turn five, we're coining out Maron the manager. Do we want to keep Maron the manager in that situation? I kind of feel like maybe we do it. Is that greedy? Yes. I feel like maybe it's greedy, but I'm going to do it. So let's get rid of the pendant of earth and see if cactus construct a Malfurion's gift with the coin, is enough to make us feel like keeping Maron the manager with the correct play. Because I feel like this is the deck we're having Maron the manager, is just the best. Things we've got back take to the skies, well that's the thing we can do to fill that gap. They're playing miracle salesman turn one, that is the thing that death knight will do these days. A lot of people do. We're drawing a dozing dragon. That's the one that's dormant three, five, in turn, so many two, five with twenty while it's dormant. So that's good. Anyway, let's start with the cactus construct. Groovy cat, wealth wrangler cactus rager, but groovy cat's not bad, right? When it dies, our hero co comes to attack and then we have another one. What wrangler gives us a lot of things to play to though, I'm going to take the groovy cat because I feel like just between the one with someone now and the one we haven't had, putting a hero power that potentially does four attack, that's a fair amount. And this is a deck that has some healing. So they are hero powering into our groovy cat, which I mean, it takes our groovy cat off the board, but I'm quite happy that that's how they spent the maintenance turn. So now we have two questions. Are we summoning the second groovy cat or are we hero powering down the miracle salesman? Now I keep talking about how hero powering is just not a good use of your mana in general, but this turn, playing the groovy cat allows them to hero power again and hit us for two. If they're hero power on turn three, we're happy with that. If I hair a power into the miracle salesman, when they get spent three mana on something better, and then we're summoning a miracle salesman later, I kind of feel like the groovy cat now is better. And if they spend the mana on hero powering again, then I think we're up even though we're taking the extra two damage from the hero salesman. So this second groovy cat, our hero power is now plus three attack on one arm of two mana. That's a good deal actually, hero powering not a good deal until it is. So they've got three mana. What are they going to do this turn? I'm tempted though. I'm telling you. Go on, hero power. Go on, go on, do it. And then what are you going to spend your last mana on huh huh huh. What are you going to do? Yeah, that's right. That's right. Now next turn of course we have three mana so we're going to malfurions gift for a wild growth play the wild growth. So next turn after that we'll have the hero powering, we tricked them into it. At the cost of taking two more damage, it's just fine. Oh and they're playing a runes of darkness, now the runes of darkness does not spend any of the courses because they haven't got enough, so they're just discovering weapon hoo hoo hoo. Go Toland Traveler, say a three mana one five taunt, death rattle draw a taunt minion and reduce its cost by two. Very tempting to play this but I think Malfurions gift into wild growth gives us five mana next turn which means we can play the traveler then and hero power to take out whatever's in the way or we can play take to the skies and here about like just lots of great things to do. So clearly Malfurions gift, just not this click wild growth, why I got fantastic. You might be like this guy is good right? He is good at not misclicking. He's not going to, I'm walking while holding a recording device in my hand in the phone in the same hand at the same time. I'm recording both things in the same hand, whew, a lysogore blade so I'm expecting rainbow here. Ugh, that would take us to 24. I misclick all the time, that's a thing that happens especially because I'm walking and playing, it's just what do you do. Anyway we've just drawn a summer flat child which is currently active for the finale which is pretty enticing. The other thing we can do of course is play the dozing dragon which will start making the tail taunts but I don't know passing up the summer flat child. Now they have a 4-3 lysogore blade which when it dies is going to mean the minions will hit plus 1 tachterish the game which is a lot right, if they have that then they're going to have ghouls now. There's a lot of potential damage coming our way if we're not careful but you know I don't know I think like a total travel once we get that down it's going to draw us things like, what's it called, ziliax. I think we play summer flat child now we might draw E and R and you're like all the things we want so we did play the summer flat child and braced to take 6 damage to the face minimum unless they trade and then oh lots of damage forever so summer flat child what did you get us? You got us yogg, it's nakos 8 you got us Reno nakos 9 brilliant that's totally fine and not ziliax even though I think I want ziliax to survive oh that's fine we'll find ziliax at some point and then we will survive so next time we have 6 mana and we still have the coin so if we don't have to play if we're not going to coin out marron because we hit the narrow hand remember if we're not going to coin out marron here we can save the coin to have a yogg on 7 mana which is pretty good and if we don't play yogg in then we can have Reno and 8 mana which is great even for those of you out there who don't like Reno. Still they have a 4-3 Eliza gore blade that's what she's called right yup and a 2-2 miracle salesman on my 24th they've traded in Eliza to the summer flat child they're hero powering they're 2-5 mana there's a gorgonzonu which is narrow 4-3 and of course the hero power is going to trade them with the summer flat child I think I face 3 between me 21. 6 mana on this turn I think we want to save our coin an ETC if I remember correctly and I often do we have a new horizons and a crystal cluster in there and we have a no milia safe pilot safe pilot is probably pretty good against this match up it's not lifesteal if we would take a ETC coin new horizons next turn we'll have 8 mana and then we don't have the coin anymore so we can't Reno Reno is the turn after I think we could do something a little more responsible than just that so maybe we just do dosing dragon this turn we're letting an extra mana set we'll get a taunt like a 4-3 gorgonzonu and a 3-2 miracle salesman like you know the 2 the 3-5 dragon just lines up quite nicely with that and the next thing we have 7 mana like we can coin out a yogg if we need to or we can save it and coin out I think this is dosing dragon given we have Reno in hand and yogg in hand we just need to play as safe as possible and let those things carry us we're still on 21 we have a 3-5 taunt now and a dormant dragon that'll give us another 2-3-5 taunt next turn and then after that it'll just be a 3-5 which is fine they think they've only got 6 mana plabs I mean also so do we we're only 1 mana ahead of them we had the coin when you are growth so I was still rubbing their faces that we have extra mana how many cards they've got in hand seven look there's lots the miracle salesman's coming in miracle salesman and hero power will get through that 3-5 taunt and then they'll get to go face before it's pretty good but spending 2 mana on a hero power doesn't feel terrific still we do have to be careful right they are rainbow decay they could well have a climatic necrotic explosion maybe we need to make sure we save the Reno for that or the yogg save one of the other for it for the hero power there's a ghouls night ouch ghouls night hits me in the face for 10 yikes and gorgon's own one I think is already attacked so we're on seven we need to gain some help and quick there's our dormant dragon slowly waking up there's a pendant of earth but that'll kill me so things we can play this turn that maybe will help us survive a lot pendant of earth take the most expensive thing we see there's still five two ones over there we've already used the malfurions gift we haven't got to swipe on hand we can coin out yogg and yogg will clean all that up but then we'll turn away from Reno we don't just really want to use both those things so quickly anyway so pendant of earth healing then we just like we're facing 14 damage in play so like if we if we don't heal for more than seven like we just did on board outside of the tortoise and traveler which obviously we have but like that that's a bit dicey like we might be might be in a bit of trouble here so clearly we can't play marin because then we just did on board coin yogg the problem with coin yogg is the gorgon's armor will still be there we'll summon it to three five twenty years of time oh I'm just running out alright we have to do it though coin yogg possible enemies to attack each other there we go and we might take out the gorgon's armor two of the goals traded three of the goals traded we didn't take out gorgon with but all the goals gone there's a cactus construct apparently we discovered a instrument take that's not great and rush the stage that drew us a fighter setting son and he in the ziliax we had his full but rush the stage drew us a lot towards an intern we get a three five taunt having a full hand right now sounds terrible I'm going to overdraw something good next to him but I have all my good stuff already next time we have eight mana we have a ziliax deluxe 3000 which is eight mana we can play that next turn with a fighter setting so which is five mana which is you know it's not the best cost for fire but like it's the healing we need we're just on seven we just got to make sure we don't accidentally die but still having a yoggon glaze nice looks like gorgon's armor is attacking into the three five taunt they have seven mana they have eight cards in hand a lot of options there goal tonight is obviously pretty good but we've already used one oh there's a foam render weapon discovered so that attacks into the taunt against the durability they've got eight cups left they hear a power they're attacking us to one reasonable when you have a foam render and play it and nine corpses a dozing dragon is waking up cuz there's no more taunts we've overdrawn a cross blood is blossom I did actually want that one I'm not gonna lie anyway let's see what's going here cuz apparently that turn starts closed are we playing fire setting sonless turn or are we playing ziliax fire the setting son is five mana and we have eight but we can also play pins in diverse and if we feel we get inner that's a lot more healing so I think we'll go for that pendant of earth well there's a I won three and a four so not a lot of healing split splash well spine tail drake miracle salesman let's take the fourth four is better than nothing now we play the fire setting son fire setting son attacks into the Gordon's or move we go face with our instruments here we can use yogg we can steal anything we can add one tentacle to our hand and then we play much spells randomly I don't think that's necessarily worth it we have healed up to nine which is certainly better than not let's just leave yogg with the abilities unused this turn it's a bit dicey okay they have a foam render we have a fire the setting son if they have to attack into fire setting son we heal even more which is what you like to see we do have to be careful that at some point they may have a yogurt their own not the students of a eight mana but if we were to play ziliax are they yogurt not great I mean we do have Reno to recover from that but they also still have a gorgon zoom who spell in hand right so we can't need to oh great they're taking the foam render into fire that heals us up to 13 and it's still not dead delightful I mean they may have a there is corpse go to finish it well gosh having a corpse going hand was dicey for us but we're on 13 they're here empowering that's they've spent four other eight mana this turn I still have a yogg that's what they're worried about I mean look death night has a lot of ways to deal with that right right uh no chronic necrotic by matrix necrotic explosion nope they've traded their hero power into it and they've played a rainbow seamstress into the yogis go on that's fine now they're trading a snake oil we're on 13 here on 26 they still have a foam render they've got six corpse to this which I've drawn my control tech so ziliax deluxe 3000 is nicest turn unless they have yogg in hand which is not terribly unlikely we can Reno this turn but we need to say that for the crime climatic necrotic explosion except that that might actually just kill us they have a four one rainbow seamstress that we have to remove we have 10 cards in hand so we can't necessarily afford to just take to the skies immediately but we can play the total and traveler which I don't know if there are any more taunts left oh yeah it's probably like the desert nest matron and then we play take to the skies which may draw us if there's a mess matron uh and honestly that's the most sensible play because it's a taunt we also got hero power to gain one health which is not a lie alright tautolan traveler take to the skies that puts us back up to 10 cards there's a desert nest matron so we can't draw that there's a racetriser so we got to play something from hand or overdraw something next to him we could play I think we could probably play photographer fizzle actually photographer fizzle will take snapshot and includes uh Alex Streiser a racetriser ziliax Reno listed that fizzle create our one one instrument taken to their fallen rainbow seams just go face with our three five dozing thing let's put him to 23 our taut is easily taken care of by their phone remder and we're still on 13 so we're not out of the woods yet but we are getting there we just gotta hope we can lure out the yogg because if we lure out the yogg then we can use our ziliax to take out their yogg if they if we play ziliax next to him which I think we're going to do and they yogg it yogg that's like the thing that the dairy breakfast you think they yogg steal my ziliax I can then I can then watch him call it I can reno to take it the natural talent they're playing natural talent six in an amount there's a resule dazzler for a lot and in there there is a uh rin oxtra of doom oxtra there's a gray bow what's this thing oh I saw in a regular lot of taunts a big minions too mr vista they've got some high rolls there I think we just yogg we just uh reno this their foam rendering into our taunt which we have nine cards in hand do we have any taunts let's a draw no we don't so we don't overdraw anything we don't mind oh sleep under stars that's a lot of health but mostly we're just playing a nine-mana-yogg this turn because they have five minions in play that also gives us five extra help and we have another yogg in the deck so that seems good and we get to go face with six with our minions putting them to sixteen like rin oxtra of doom that killed that thing and it starts taking cards out of your hand a million you we don't necessarily want to see that anyway they've got ten mana this turn nine cards in hand they're on sixteen they have a foam render they've got four corpses left so they've got one extra durability left on that only one board space of course we have a three three and a three five we have a take to the skies in hand which we don't necessarily need just yet we have a ziliax we can use it's a twin perfect ziliax not a poison ziliax I forgot about that anyway they're here empowering they're attacking into the three five dozing dragon okay okay you got eight mana left what's next malted magma okay you're just gonna do that three times yep that's the second one I mean it's hitting my face it counts yep there's the third one puts me down to fifteen two mana left they foam render to put me to ten ouch and there's a brittle bones bucket after the last two mana okay well I think we do we do ziliax that ziliax being a couple of six five taunt divine shield rush you know because two of them we also get to play a desert nest matron first to make sure we are like even if they yogh steal our ziliax we play a ziliax oh I hear a power is the two damage and refresh two markers as soon as well right we just get that on the face now we can also play the instrument tech what if they're playing my control tech to attack into a heal I don't think they're playing my control tech but you know what I'm not gonna play anything else just in case they are we have a six five ziliax with no divine shield and another one with the divine shields we have a four five desert nest matron they're on fourteen they have three corpses and a foam render so they've got two attacks in there if they want but I don't think they want to take into either of these three taunts we're on sixteen now thanks some good healing in hand we still have raised straws we haven't played we got a mine control tech we haven't played we got a spine tail drag we haven't played we got an instrument tech that won't do very much we've an ETC which has no mealya which can help save us as a crystal cluster which can give us a lot of money or a new horizons I mean crystal cluster give us a lot of taunts like on ten money we haven't played any new horizons yet we just play ETC into crystal cluster we have three three seven taunts pretty good they're playing their own crystal cluster created by natural talent that's given them three four seven taunts because they're a lot of gold blade pretty good turn but like my ziliax is gonna love healing all that well I mean they might face tank one they are face tanking one they're considering face tanking one yep they face tanked it they fall to eight and I hear love to twenty two feeling very good here there's a mining casualties they've got four mana left they're on eight health they're three taunts the four seven taunts do like save them a lot damage they're here apparent to take the divine shield off the other ziliax fine by me that puts me up to twenty eight so we're almost back on thirty they've now got enough millions that we can mike control tech them there's a miracle salesman and then there's another rooms of darkness which looks like it's spending the last of the corpses so they haven't attacked with the thing they're a phone reader okay so we can raise stars or we can mike control tech I think mike control tech is the nastiest play we can do here because it steals one of the four seven taunts then we have five mana left which we can play a gift wrap well or a spine tail drake we can't really do both it on a race resume so we can do both gift wrap well and spine tail drake spine tail drake will deal five damage to something crazy which means crystal cluster we're one damage off taking out two taunts by attacking into them I don't know how much I mind anyway mind control tech stealing one of the four seven taunts thank you happy to have that gift wrap well buffing race rather than other things yeah spine tail drake so we got six five spine tail drake because we are taking out two crystal clusters once let's just take out the miracle salesman ziliax and the other thing attacks into one of the crystal clusters the desert and so they got one four seven taunt left we've healed up to 30 we have a six one ziliax a four one desert and asymmetric stealing the taunt maybe I don't have a four seven because the lyser is making their stuff four seven it's three seven no I have it but they have a couple of silver hand recruits that turn into ghouls eight health a phone reader there's delicious cheese from the gorgon zormu and they're eight cost minions nasty oh death wings one of them invest to boom invented boom another one and hodier but none of them have tonto rush it's a 12 12 at a 7 7 and a 8 8 all with plus one attack they're they're silver hand recruits turn into ghouls and the crystal clusters attacking and stuff so they have a four four taunt and some really big minions while I'm on 30 but those big minions represent lethal they have a four four taunt I have a three three a three two and a six five they're hero powering into the three two so if I can take out the taunt they have over there I have lethal if I can't take out the taunt I don't interesting and looks like they're foam rendering to my face because they've gained a bunch of corpses putting this 25 how can I do this I don't have lethal in hand oh corpse cool taking out there no it's not taking out the splintail drake although got something else yet dreadhound handler takes a splintail drake so they're taking out a lot of my minions so we're in a bit of trouble I mean not necessarily trouble trouble but we are in a bit of trouble because they still have a 13 12 death wing and eight seven adventure boom they're on eight trogg gem tosser trogg gem tosser is not going to go fate for enough also we would have to sleep under the stars I think we are going to sleep under the stars draw some refresh some maybe we find a photograph maybe we stall enough to make sure we can Reno next turn I'm not convinced that will work to be honest I don't think we can afford to play race trials at a certain how much attack do they have in play 13 plus nine is 22 plus eight is 30 32 36 they've still got foam rendered they can attack me for like 40 odd so that's a lot while we're on 25 our power is two damage gain to armor so I think we start with the sleep under the stars because everything else we have well you know I can ETC for crystal cluster it just gives us some three seven taunts but I think they can get through those three seven taunts with what they have and then hit us in the face with 13 I don't like that very much at all because all of this is buying us one turn so ETC into crystal cluster not great we've got eight cars left in the deck sleep under the stars let's draw two cars oh it's my rope that's not good animation though there's a crystal cluster that's helpful I think okay I think refresh the mana crystals and refresh the mana crystals we play crystal trust with that because then it does buy us some turns and we play trogg Jim tosser and we attack our my control taking to their thing does it die I don't yes it does let's say we killed the thing I probably should have attacked before playing anyway so their taunt is gone well we've got it just in time so we have three three seven taunts and a three two trogg dren tosser they have a two one the dread hand died the crystal cluster died so they're out of six well that's not bad they can hit me for 13 with the death ring if they want there's got 10 mana there's buttons the buttons is drawing them spells that's not giving them good stuff so hopefully I don't die here but then being on six I don't know six cards left I'm not sure what I could if I draw swipe six cards left swipe hero power the problem is I don't have mana to play Marin draw card swipe and hero power so I need to kind of draw a swipe naturally which I don't think I'm going to do still still it's not nothing we can draw a photograph and inside the photograph one of the stuff is cost reduced in the photograph so we could probably find ziliacs in there maybe looks like stuff has attacked into two of my crystal clusters run if there's a dreadhound handler or we'll be getting some extra damage here now they've attacked until with the dreadhound handler so it's got four health left what else have you got hero power and they think yeah of course color of course I got about the box book oh have they found lethal maybe they have then they're here repairing is this lethal I haven't added up oh no they're attacking to the trogg gemstosser I'm assuming it's not lethal face with the phone render face with death wing puts me to seven so not quite lethal I'm in seven they're on six swipe or photograph what's it gonna be swipe we drew swipe they're on six we have a hero power that does two and a swipe that does four and then the card the hero power was the tilt your temperature card so I did that and it drew me the photographs but like if I'd done the hero power first and drawn a card if I hadn't drawn the swipe the photograph I don't have six months left after it and I don't think that saves me at all really and I think this turn playing ETC to get a crystal cluster I'm still dead because they've attacked me down to seven and I think they can still attack through the crystal clusters with enough stuff that definitely just hits me in the face well three stars now diamond six and three stars the next win puts me into diamond five the next loss I lose a star and then I win and I gain like three stars anyway so I can lose two in a row and then win one and I still at the diamond five that's the thing about 11 multiply it is cheap it is silly but I think that's fine whoa what a game can't believe we won it look as a train's just gone I've got some time to pontificate about this I'm sure there are plenty of things I did poorly there talking about the gameplay while you're doing it helps see some things maybe you don't but also it's distracting and also it takes up a lot of time and so what can often happen while I'm recording is I'll get to the rope and I go we're doing things like that turn where I played sleep under the stars found the crystal cluster played the crystal cluster played a truck gem tosser because I was at finale and then attacked with the mind control tech I was fortunate that the drug gem tosser hit therefore for taunt once it could have hit it twice then they would have more health and I wouldn't be winning that turn I should have attacked with the mind control tech into it first to give it just one help that gives us the best odds of a truck gem tosser hitting the taunt just once and not once more and maximizing the chance of going face we were fortunate and it went face anyway but that's a mistake I made and I think that's the thing I can do better there's a train here I should get on this one
