They're at the post first wire. You're listening to the first wire, a Keeneland preview. And now here's your host, Trey server. Welcome again to another episode of the first wire podcast. I'm your host, Trey server, again joined by CC Broadus. We just want to say thank you again for tuning in this weekend. It was a very profitable weekend for us. We had a lot of good picks. Um, hit the, uh, all stakes per pick. I'll, I'll turn pick three on Saturday and was also fortunate to give out the late pick five, which on a hundred dollar ticket end up paying just to south of a thousand. So if anybody followed along, um, which I hope you did, uh, you'd been very happy and we were very happy, excited to, to be able to give that to you and, uh, follow that up on Sunday, uh, with a nice pick five from CC, including in the last race. Uh, he didn't hit the all button, uh, but he hit the, uh, 38 to one long shot in the, uh, minaret station. So, uh, that was something very big for him. And like I said, we were very excited because we saw we had, uh, some viewers and I'm hoping that you all, uh, were able to fall along and make a little bit of money. Um, for those of you that honor where, um, CC and I are both on Twitter or X. Um, my handle name is at T server two four. His is at Dr. Shalito with two. Shalito, I'm sorry and I don't know where that came from. So you might have to explain that. You will never go sorry, but you will never know. Okay. Only two people in the world know. All right, well, we would appreciate if you, uh, follow along, uh, repost our picks, uh, like, comment, let us know what you like, what you don't like. Uh, we're always, uh, trying to make things better and we're here for you. So, uh, CC, I appreciate you joining me again this evening. I hear you're not feeling too great, but I thank you for being here. Um, how are we doing? Love to talk. Keenan. Now in full disclosure, I didn't give out minaret station that long shot on Sunday in the last, uh, on our last, uh, deal. Uh, that was a, uh, I called an audible. I was at work and I was reviewing races and, uh, uh, like minaret stations, uh, made and win it Indianapolis. So I threw that one in there. So unfortunately, uh, I can't take credit for giving out the pick five on, uh, Sunday. Well, hey, you, you still hit it. So that, that means you're, you're hot. So we, we got something to look forward to for Wednesday. I wish all the women thought that way. Unfortunately, I think what they say is you're lucky and love and unlucky in horses, but I'd rather be, uh, lucky in horses and unlucky in women. I agree. Don't tell anybody. I said that. I was like, I'm already taken. So I can use all the help I can get in the horse business. I hear you, I hear you, but let's dive into this card. Yes, sir. So we are here tonight, uh, we're recording this on Monday. And we are going to dive in, like you said, up to Wednesday's card. Uh, big news there is the late pick five or the early pick five on Sunday, carried over, uh, so it'll be the early pick five on Wednesday. Uh, there will be a $265,000 carryover, which I imagine with all the new money. I would expect to probably double or triple that. So, uh, I'm going to play a little bigger ticket tonight than I usually would just because of the potential hit. So that's full disclosure that this is something I usually wouldn't get out because I don't want to have to tell people to pay a $200 ticket. Uh, well, like I said, if it would hit, I think you could pay pretty handsomely. So starting off in the first race, it's a starter allowance, six and a half for a long, uh, for fillers and mayors, three years and up, which have never started for, I'm sorry, we just started for claiming a price of 10,000, uh, in the last two years. Uh, I saw this race as two things. The favorite who was the three horse, who six, uh, nine to five on the morning line forever home, uh, is O for five at the distance and O for three at Keeneland. So that immediately wanted me to play against him and try to play elsewhere. Uh, I also noticed that the four horse, uh, looks to be pretty quick. So I imagine he's going to go straight to the front with the apprentice, Joseph Billmere, and he is, uh, five for six in the money and he just, he's got one place out of one start at Keeneland. So I think he's going to go straight to the lead, go pretty quick. What I'm hoping happens is he spreads the field out, uh, maybe burns up and, uh, closer can come get him, which hasn't been the case, uh, but I'm hoping he goes too fast. So for me, just for hoping to kind of separate myself from other tickets at the beginning, I'm going to hit the all button here, CC, just to try to catch a price. Yeah, I don't blame you. This is a really difficult race. So let's point out some, some, uh, trainers in, uh, in here that, uh, might, uh, might surprise number one, never sway. Rovertino diadoro, who was actually has been suspended, had been suspended by hyza for the last several months is making his return that suspended, the suspension was lifted early. So diadoro points to this Keeneland fall me. I know a couple of seasons ago, he really caught on fire and won a lot of races at this fall meet. So here he's back. Uh, if you want to look at the, the one that never sway that effort on August 9th, that CTM is century mile. That's way up there in Canada. I forgot what province a century mile is in, but it's, uh, it's a decent Western Canadian track. So, uh, you know, we'll see, we'll know right off the bat where the diadoro horses fit in to come from century mile. Uh, another one I'm a little leery of is number six proto magic. The horse doesn't look a whole lot, like a whole lot on paper, but it's one cano and he's good for a surprise or two. Every time Keeneland runs one can know a former assistant to Angel Montana, who was a legendary trainer in these parts over the years. Proto magic is probably a horse I would consider. She, she's been soundly beaten by a mazoku who's one of the favorites in here. So, you know, uh, just keeping it on one cano, but like I said, I don't have a strong opinion in most of these early pick five races to the really difficult sequence. So, uh, yeah, I'll just say spread in here. Okay. Well, we agree on that part at least. Uh, race number two is a maiden claiming 20,000 six furlongs for maiden three year olds and up. Uh, again, like you said, this race seems to be wide open. Uh, the two malablu for Eric Foster and Christian Torres, who was aboard the long shot in the last race on Sunday, uh, looks to be controlling speed, uh, but it has basically gone for about four furlongs and then kind of wilted. So he's going to be in front for a while. Um, I'm not sure how long he's going to hold the race. Uh, this particular race for me is all about kind of like who's not going to win and which post positions tend to do best at sprinting a keelon. Uh, so I'm going to try to stick to the middle of the field, uh, and hope one of them gets a better trip than the others. Um, and I'm going to, I'm going to spread again and I don't like to do it, but I'm going to, uh, the two, the six for Rob at a trust or address, uh, for Jaime Torres, uh, the seven river ridge, uh, from Michael Campbell, who's going to be dropping out a maiden special. Uh, the eight horse actually, uh, interested me, Tommy Dury for a first time starter, uh, Fleet Alex, uh, we know Edgar Morales is, uh, pretty, uh, aggressive out of the gate and he's had some nice works come into this. So based on the company, if he can run at all, uh, six to one, I don't know if he'll stay there, but that'd be a good price for me, uh, to maybe place a win bet. And the other horse that maybe would be the 11, uh, from McLean Roberts and spinning heart, uh, again, dropping out a maiden special, been running in Canterbury and Hawthorne, which may not have the strongest of company, but he's at the board a couple of times and he seems to be on the morning line. Anyway, four to one. So they think he's got a shot. I'm going to narrow it down a little bit. Number one, idiosyncrasies for Wesley Ward on the rail. Wesley gets John Velasquez to ride and John Velasquez is not going to ride in very many maiden twenties. We're at the bottom of the barrel at keenly. You don't see any maiden claiming races less than 20,000. So I'm thinking John, this horse is probably live. I just need to break from the gate. You can go back and watch some of his workouts on the KTA website. And it's not bad, decent looking horse. I think he's going to be anything special, special after this. He'd probably be a turfway horse. Maybe run at the bottom levels, but, uh, yeah, idiosyncrasies is a horse. I'm interested in Wesley Ward, debuting in maiden claimers, 30% with a positive ROI and, uh, yeah, that, uh, if he can just break from the rail, gets out of the gate cleanly, he may take a wired wire. The other two in here that I like, you've already mentioned seven river ridge, Michael Campbell, he'll come down here to Keeneland and win a race every once in a while. He's a good trainer, good Chicago trainer, but, uh, not having a great year, but, uh, his owner's melon patch. They, I've seen them come down here and win races before at Keeneland. And the other one is number 12 mask man on the far outside with erider tees for Gregory Sacco. The owners are BBN racing. So I think they are a local outfit just from the name BBN, big blue nation. Got a feeling they probably want to win a race at Keeneland. So I got a feeling that's, uh, that's why this horse is here on the, uh, the small drop in class. So yeah, go, go to the one seven and 12 for me. Okay. Well, that would definitely make the cheaper ticket for me if I would take that. So I like that. Uh, race number three is a claiming 40,000 six furlongs. Uh, for three year olds, we should never won three races or they are three years old. This one looked a little bit easier. I would say on paper, um, the three horse is one I want to look at just based on after he was claimed from Steve As if he runs a 96 again, he's probably going to win, but I'm, I'm going to figure that he's going to bounce. Uh, so I'm going to play against him and I'm going to use invulnerable. Who's the number one horse for Joe Sharp and I read Ortiz dropping out of tougher, uh, this horse can stay close. I think based on his, uh, pedigree and his, uh, class level that he can be there. And the horse that really interests me, um, and he seems to take some money and, and he really hasn't performed lately. But if you go back at October of last year, uh, he wanted six furlongs going basically gate to wire and then turned around and ran an overnight stakes race. Um, and finished second. And I, if I'm looking at it correctly, he ran against, uh, Glenn Gary. Maybe if I'm looking at it right, which I think was a Chad Brown horse. If I'm not mistaken. So he's kept good company. Um, so I think he'll be right. He may be gate to wire, so I'm going to use just the one in the five. Okay, yeah, I, I'm in agreement. If, if you want to maybe take an aggressive single here, number five, Norman, a hero with a bersett going to Flavian Pratt can't explain what happened last time, not a good effort at Churchill, facing a whole lot better. But, uh, the two starts before that finished third to midnight taxes and echo again, both of those horses would probably three to five or less in here. Same with the race before that. He finished fifth to a horse named Otto the conqueror and Henro and Doncho. And Doncho was a horse that Michelle level trained and, uh, that horse would be one to nine in here. So normally hero would be a really aggressive single, I think, uh, just, uh, just because he's been keeping better company. The other two I would consider, of course, obviously the, the rail horse and vulnerable facing better now dropping into claiming company here or 40,000 are claiming company. So obviously that he's a big factor here. The other one may be a number four and probable journey who's making his second start from Mike maker. You can absolutely throw out that last race. He stumbled at the start and just had no impact now makers not been setting the world on fire as of late, uh, would, would expect him to come around at any point. But, uh, this horse has some speed. He might actually, uh, he's in his, in the past, he's probably quick enough to set the pace in here. So it would not be surprised if Blue Sia sends him to the lead here. And, uh, if he does the way the track played over the weekend, I think he might be dangerous going this, uh, short six for a long distance. Yeah, I would agree with you there. The only thing that scared me on that horse is he's one for 18 at the distance and one for 21 on the dirt. Um, this horse, uh, I always made a middle move in all of his races. I think when Larry Jones had him, he looked at always, he looked like Tarzan and ran like Jane. He just, uh, I do see that. Yeah, but if he, if he went to the middle of the race, he, he had the lead. And then like you said, then he kind of lost it towards the end. Yeah, I always thought that if, uh, if the right trainer got hold of him, they might be able to figure out the, uh, his idiosyncrasies, but somebody loved him in the last race because they bet him down to two and a half to one. Yeah, well, he was, you know, he ran off, uh, he was dropped in class off the claim for maker 10 to one is too juicy for me to pass up and second time maker. Well, if you, if you're able to, uh, maybe he goes short and a couple of other races, you could definitely use that, that horse as well. Uh, race for, uh, another low lever, low level claiming race for Keeneland is claiming 16,000 going six and a half foot long for three year olds and up. Um, the one horse on the rail for David Jacobson, basically, you can't, can't use the last race because he, he had a, uh, a joculous work. Uh, it looks like he threw, threw him at the start and then just kind of ran, ran around the track by himself. Uh, but before that, he ran second and third. Uh, and he's actually ran in some overnight stakes races of aqueduct, caught the mud and most of them, uh, didn't seem to like that. But if you go back even farther at Oak lawn, uh, in Laurel and the fast track, he, uh, he did pretty well. So that, that could be a potential single. If you are interested in that, uh, he has one twice at Keeneland. Um, I think the two horse at four to one, I just, I didn't really like him. I thought he might be a little too slow. Um, the three horse was going to be speed and speed is always dangerous. Um, and the one other horse that I was kind of, uh, looking at was number six. It was Greg Foley and he lands. I think the one that I read has a win at Keeneland, um, been running well at, at, at church Hill and, uh, at this level. So yeah, those, those are probably the horses for me. When they announced the carryover on Sunday, I initially thought it was the last five races on the card. And I thought, I really like this late pick five sequence. I'm going to play, I'm going to play it anyway. I'm probably not going to play the early pick five of, but I will play the late pick five and I'm going to spread here. There are a couple horses in here that I do like, uh, uh, mention one, canola earlier. And I like this horse better than I do the other horse, but sir, Ollie is a second time for canola and he's a five time winner. I think maybe this, this horse may be the one to surprise. And, uh, canola uses a jockey at him, but skits a quite a bit. So I would, I would definitely use that one. And the other one I would use number seven, Vulcan for Matthew Sims, who's based at Keeneland. He's a Lexington guy and got a feeling this horse is probably sitting on a big effort on the drop. I think, uh, they want to win at Keeneland and, uh, yeah. So Vulcan is a horse I would definitely use. And other than that, uh, I would agree with your assessment. Yeah, I guess I, I, I honestly, when I looked at it, I just said, you know what, the nine through 12 horses, I don't think can win. One through eight, I would not be surprised if, if any of them won. Um, now we're going to go to the last leg of the early pick five, which kind of get back to what I think is the normal Keeneland races. Uh, you get a maiden, uh, mile and eighth on the turf, uh, for maiden fillies and mares, three year olds and up. Uh, this particular race, I thought. I only saw maybe two horses that I really liked, unless the also eligible major all in and then, uh, there's a couple on that list that I like as well. But the first is number two, who, for me, could be your other single in this sequence. Uh, Shadwell, Todd Fletcher and Jose Ortiz. Uh, earlier this year, Gulfstream was very competitive, uh, in their, uh, basically winter championship meet is what they call it. Um, tried to get on the grass for the first race. Um, at the time, I think it either rained off or they took it off and so it ran on the their synthetic track and nearly went gate to wire. I remember that race and turned around and ran against, uh, poolside with slim. Go back in the back earlier this, uh, spring and summer. I know you were high on that horse and, and it won, uh, gate to wire fashion at Gulfstream in that particular race. And then he was sent off as the favorite, uh, in his most recent and then he's been off since March, so something may have happened, uh, but number two is going to be my, would be my single if I had to have one. The only other horse that I was looking at in this race with the six, who is Ben Colbert for Flavian Pratt, uh, he sticks around to ride a second time, which I think is encouraging. And, uh, Gatewood Bell is the owner of this horse and I think Gatewood, it may be the president of Keeneland, if I found not mistaken. Mm. So I think he's in the maybe sales, vice president of sales, maybe I don't know. All right. What? I know he's got some, some kind of high ranking position there. So I thought maybe, uh, you know, he might, we might want to show a show off what he's got. So the bills, the bills have a rich history and racing in Lexington. There's a lot of the bills. Yes, but that we could do a whole podcast on the Bell family. Yeah. Well, the Bell family used to be trainers for my dad's horses back in the day. So I know, I know some of the bills quite well, Mike, Michael, uh, no, it was, um, I wouldn't have said that. I could tell you, give me, give me a second and I'll, and I'll come up with the name. All right. Can you tell me all fair? Okay. So anyway, the two and the six would be my two. If I had to pick another one besides the two. I would consider singling in here and the horse you just mentioned, number two, El McGee. You just got to go watch that last race at Gulfstream. That's an absolute toss horse. I've watched it last night. Of course, I can't remember it now, but it was, it was rough. I mean, it probably went seven or eight wide into the turn, into the first turn. And then it had a wide trip after that and didn't have nothing left. So something happened either during that race or immediately following. So they, they laid her off and there's not a lot in here. So if she's anything at all, she should win this. You get hose A or T's. I think, I think she's the one. The other one I would be consider would be number three, address thea. For Fergus Bogle, up until about November or yeah, March, actually March 28th of this year, this Philly was nothing. I mean, she was absolutely horrible. And when Churchill rode around, apparently the light bulb went on because she is a completely different Philly now. She's actually competitive. And he thought enough of her to run her in a stakes race as a maiden at Ellis, where she finished last, but she was only beating four and three-quarters links. So she's not that far off. Uh, those type of horses. I think you can toss the race at Kentucky Downs. It doesn't say so in the rain line, but she did have some traffic trouble going into that first turn. That's a two-turn mile and a five-sixteenths at Kentucky Downs. She had some traffic issues early. She had to check as well as the other runner from that race, number 12, Rockin 2s, which she had absolutely more traffic trouble than the three. But it doesn't say so in the running line, which is kind of disappointing. But address day may have some upside. And that would be the other one I would consider now. We can't go any further without talking about the also Elsables in here, because there's three of them, 13, 14, and 15. I think all three could absolutely win the race. So if we have some scratches in the body of the race, then kind of everything's flipped upside down, especially number 14 in chant. Rinden Walsh goes to Pratt. If the 14 draws in, you have to check and see if Pratt's going to ride the six for Cole Brook or the 14 for in chant. That's going to tip you off of what's going to happen or who he thinks he likes the most there. And yeah, so just hold your thoughts until Wednesday morning, until they announce the scratches. Then you might have to reconfigure everything. Yeah, so I have a ticket. But like you said, if for me, if the 14 or 15 draw in, I've got to use them. So I'd have to single somewhere else. And when I say this ticket, I would say if you have friends, family, anybody that wants to chip in. 20 bucks here, 20 bucks there, that way you're not betting too much. So if you lose, you don't feel bad about it. But obviously, if you hit, then you are sharing it with a bunch of different people. The ticket that I came up with, I'm going to use the all button, like I said in the first race. I'm going to use the two, six, seven, eight, 10, 11, within the second race. And the third race, I'm going to use the one in five, depending on, like I said, if there was any scratches in the last race of the sequence, I would use the five as my single. And the fourth leg, I'm going to use the one, three, five, six, and eight. And I would single the two, if those other horses don't draw in, makes it a $240 ticket, which I said is for me is way too much. I would have to get partners if I wanted to do it. I strongly suggest you do as well. If you cut down the first leg and don't use the all button, I cut it down to $90. If I just use three of the horses, which is a little bit more manageable. But again, I would suggest having partners or if there's big players out there listening, by all means, hit the all button and fire away. Rock on. Race number six, which I'm in agreement with you. I wish the late pick five was the sequence, because it seems like there's a little bit clearer direction to go. I am going to basically say that I've looked at this, but I'm just kind of throwing a ticket together. The eight horse in the sixth race is eight to five on the morning line. Has run second back to back starts for Dale Romans and the Albal family, which they're always trying to get a Derby horse. They might have it here. It just hasn't broken through yet. The only thing that concerns me about this horse is that he's broke slow. His last or his first and only two races. And on this track, if you break and give them five or six length head start, you're not going to catch him. If he breaks with the field, I think the eight horse is a single in the lock there. Did you see it any other way? Yeah, I think so. You had a rough trip last time. The winner of that race, Handsome Pants, had a much better trip. I think Brian Hernandez rode that horse for Kenny McPeek last time. Saved ground while a kinetic control had to go wide or a couple more paths wide. So yeah, kinetic control with a ground saving trip, a better trip this time probably gets there. This would be a type of race I would play a try or a super effective in. And the horse I would consider using would be number six bracket buster underneath. The son of a coma for Vicki Oliver, BB in racing once again. Go back and watch his debut at Indiana, Horseshoe, Indiana. Horseshoe was far behind early and just really rallied. No, he didn't. I don't think he faced much in there, but the way he came home looked like a horse with some talent. So I bet him last time, of course, everybody else did too. It was a big move up in class going from Indiana to Churchill. He did go off six to one, and he was much closer to the pace than he was in his debut. And then he just gave away. So I'm wondering maybe if they let him settle a little bit more, maybe make one run come from the back of the pack. Maybe bracket buster gets parked at a big price. Maybe you get him on the board at 30 to one. So maybe like an eight with all with six and then an eight with six with all trifecta, something like that. And yeah, maybe you catch a bracket buster 30 to one underneath the heavy favorite. But I like that. I'm going to say that it is a mound of 16th, which basically are, or our name comes from this. If you ever listen to Kurt Becker make the call on these races, he will say in the gate, the first wire. And I've always heard him say the first wire. I've always thought it was hilarious because he literally says it every time. And it's going to be at that little first wire with the red finish line, instead of the ending where with the nice big finish line. That would be the only thing to my concern me about the eight horses that if he is coming from behind, he's not going to have the full length of the stretch to get there. So this could be a race for larger players. You could hit the all button and hope to beat him because he's going to go off probably four to five. So you might catch a bigger price and like you said, separate yourself from the rest of the field. Yeah. Number nine Cooper is a horse worth looking into. 11th, early last time, 11 links back and close to finish third. Far behind kinetic control, but this is good dolphin and Belmont. So maybe a horse that's on the improve would not be a surprise to see good dolphin win another two year old race. Yeah, based on the, he came from the same racist kinetic control. They may have hit each other out of the gate because they both, it says they brushed and took back at the start. So either the, he broke from eight and the Ellen broke from 10. So maybe the nine horses took them both out. Yeah. All right. So race number seven is an optional claiming for three year olds and up, which is never one, two other than maiden, et cetera, going six furlongs. The one horse, Silver Rose for Brad Cox and Florence Giroux are the two to one second choice, but this horse has always had a big rep. Maybe hasn't lived up to that, but I think he deserves a look. The other horse in this race, there's a six, Dale Romans, Corey Landry again, this one for West Point Thoroughbreds. This horse just won at Saratoga going seven furlongs, but did have the lead at six and I think we'll get a good stocking trip as well. So it might be a pretty chalky back-to-back sequence, but the one in the sixth looked pretty good in this race. I'm not in love with either one of those, but there's not a lot in here. There's not much depth to this race. Philly I would use is number three, Lady Moscato for the coach and Louis Saez. This, Philly, if you go back six starts ago, April 12th at Oakland, no, go back further than that. Let's see, March 17th, she broke her maiden three to one. There was absolutely no reason for her to be three to one that day, but apparently she turned the corner and the day news got to the window and bet her down and she went off three to one. I remember that race. Yeah, and then she comes right back and wins an allowance race, and I think that race was good enough to win a state race. The figures that came back out of that start probably could have won any race, but any stakes race, but apparently it knocked her out. Lucas put her on the Kentucky Oaks Trail. Let me take that back. That's not true. He didn't put her on the Kentucky Oaks Trail, but he put her in the stakes company. And she ran the same day as the Oaks. Yeah, she ran the eight bales, missed pre-ness. Comes back, does run third behind the next out stakes winner in Fiverr at Churchill, and then he took her to Saratoga twice. She's not facing anything like that in here. So if she ever runs back to that big number at Oakland, she'll be the easy winner there. It's just whether or not she does it or not. So she'll be on my ticket for sure, especially at eight to one. I got a feeling, though, the way they bet her in those two races, Oakland, if she is live, that she'll be off a whole lot less than eight to one. Yeah, I remember that race you're talking about. She was 20 to one on the morning line. She opened up like the favorite. And then the pre-race favorite, actually, the favorite of the race, scratched right at the gate, and then they heard the favorite. So I loved it because I didn't have her on my ticket, but I was gifted her because of the favorite one. Same thing happened to me. Yeah, yeah, exactly right. That was the Cox Philly that I don't know what happened there. I think she wound up winning the stakes. But yeah, she was turned out to be a really nice Philly. She got loose during her at the gate. And, yeah, Lady Moscato wound up going off favorite there, which was incredible because you look at her performances. She had no business being single digits, much less favorite. No, absolutely. And it wasn't like she had a huge jockey on her, anything like that that would warrant that. All right, well, moving on to race number eight. My on the 16th on the turf. This race, again, for me, anyway, there's two horses that stood out, the one and the six, the five horse, Khafib. I do like that horse, but it's last three races. I feel like it should have won or had a chance to win all three. And it just didn't get by, which makes me a little hesitant to play. So for me, I'm going to use the one and the six. Obviously, they're both chalk, but in this sequence, I have not found much that I would like besides those two. Yeah, I agree. If you're spreading out, you like said, I would use the five. Another one I would use is on the far outside number 12 black rain. And I forgot to look the pedigree up, and I know the dam of this horse sustained, I think either was a nice turf runner herself or comes from a nice turf family for Paul Pompa, who is the breeder and co-owner of Big Brown back in the day. But that has nothing to do with this. But this horse making his first start on the grass, and I think he might be live. If pleasure thought enough to bring this one down here. Horse been training at Saratoga. They're not going to put this horse on the van unless they think he's got a shot. So a rat or tease takes them out. So, you know, black rain would be a horse I would consider, along with the other horses you mentioned. The only reason I wouldn't play the 12 is I'm not playing the 12 horse until they show they can beat me. Because I think I said in the very beginning, our first episode, they were over last year, and I don't believe they've won a race yet this meet either. So I feel like he'll get bent down pretty good being the connections. But for me, until they prove that they can do it, I'm not going to put them in. That's true. But, you know, if you get the right price, I would always consider it. One more horse, 14 over in Ollie. I think he listens to our pod. Ollie Alford is a friend of mine. I think his horse might be named for him. I'm not a 100% sure. But yeah, over in Ollie, hopefully he draws in and gets part of this too. Frankie Datori listed a ride for Al Stahl, who knows his way around the race horse. Yes, for sure. Yeah, that would be, if there are any also eligible in any of these turf races, it definitely, like you said, throws it for a loop. Yep. No doubt about it. Love to like pick five. Don't like the early pick five. No, I don't either. But like you said, because of the money that's going to be there, I feel like you have to throw something at it, at least give yourself a chance. The late pick four, I can say it could chalk out and pay $10. But I'm going to put a ticket together. It's a $40 ticket. The two, four, six, nine, 10, with the seven, eight, nine, 11, with the one, six, with the one, six, and that's $40. Like I said, you could go a bunch of different ways. I was just trying to beat some of the favorites. But it could just chalk out and then you get a win, but you lose money kind of thing. All right. Just for the record, we are, like I said, recording this on Monday evening for Wednesday. We will both be on site Thursday to do a not a live broadcast on the air. But if anybody is around and wants to take pictures, say hello, get autographs, that we'll be more than happy to oblige. And we will always take a beer as a thank you at some point too, just FYI. You pompous SOB. Hey, I do have it. We're not going to record one for Thursday, but I do have a horse in the 10th race on Thursday. I'm very interested in 61 on the morning line, half dome. I don't think he'll be 61. I think that's a bad morning line, but we won't go there. We're going to stay positive on this podcast. Half dome was a horse I got word on that the connections kind of liked him on August 25th. And of course, I had him singled in a pick for and like a hundred other times, I had to lead mid-stretch and I got run down by a horse named Aksarbin Derby for I think Thomas, got Tom Van Berg and this horse Aksarbin Derby won next out. So half dome, they finally got this horse, well, not finally, but in his second start, they got him on turf. He's absolutely brave photographer. He's off and he out of a fast net rock mirror. And yeah, I think my own eighth at that point may have been a little too much for him. He comes right, she yeah, he comes right back at a my own eighth. And you go from Corralis to Flavian Pratt. Half dome will be a single like anything else in the race. Half dome will be a single for me and you might be able to go a double single world record six to five in the race prior. If that horse runs anything like he's done in the past, he will be hard to handle in there. So just a cold double to six Thursday in the nightcap. All right, well, you heard it here. And again, CC will post these on Twitter, we actually if you would please go on there. And like I said, subscribe, follow, like, comment, repost. We're just trying to get the word out and bring excitement and joy that we experience for the races to others. As always, we appreciate you joining us this evening and for CC and myself, this has been the First Wire podcast. [Music]
