As parents, we want to fix everything for our children. So when your child suffers from anxiety and panic attacks, it can leave you feeling helpless. In this episode Alicia is joined by ministry partner, Sara Stonger LCSW, to discuss how parents can best support their children through panic attacks. At times, this conversation may surprise you as you might learn that some of the common tactics used by parents to help kids with panic attacks may actually be doing more harm than good. Sara helps parents understand what is happening biologically to their child during a panic attack, as well as providing pracital, effective tools to help their child based on this understanding.
