Today's podcast is brought to you by Howie's new book Paperboy. To order today, go to HowieCarShow.com and click on "Store." [♪♪] Better strap yourself in. It's time for the Howie Car Show. Joe Biden is a cruel and vicious demagogue, a man who has no problem at all denouncing his fellow Americans, or putting his political opponents in prison as he has done. Many of you in this chamber and my predecessor are promising to pass a national ban on reproductive freedom. My God, what freedom else would you take away? Get the f*ck out of my house. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. Look, I think tonight was astonishing. I've never seen anything like it. It was a campaign speech, but it was an exceptionally bad campaign speech. You know, there are 1,000 billionaires in America. You know what the average federal taxes for those billionaires? They're making great sacrifices. 8.2 percent. Send her name! Send her name! Lincoln. Lincoln Riley, a innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal bush. Now you should have said undocumented. You're not serious, people. But it's not a big thing, okay? Rump swabs, hacks, and moon bats beware. It's... [♪♪] Howie Car. 844-542, 42. We'll get back to the State of the Union. And again, I want to talk about this latest development in the Georgia case. And this doesn't directly involve Fannie Willis. It predates Fannie Willis' scandalous behavior. But this is equally scandalous, but we'll get to that in just a moment. And we'll talk about the State of the Union and Iana Presley's special, special guest. But first, I want to talk about there's a headline in the Herald today. The North End is at war with Mayor Michelle Wu, restaurant owner says. They've been at war for a while with the Wu administration, as you know. Eateries will continue to face heavy restrictions this year if they decide to provide outdoor dining in the summer. The escalating conflict, this is from the Herald, has triggered a group of 21 neighborhood restaurateurs in the North End Chamber of Commerce to amend a lawsuit filed earlier this year in federal court alleging the mayor discriminated them against them the past two summers. Two years ago, officials from City Hall forced restaurateurs to pay a $7,500 fee for outdoor dining operations. Last year, the city banned on-street dining, limiting the alfresco option to quote compliance, sidewalk patios, whatever the hell that means. The North End was the only neighborhood in the city that faced the restrictions. Joining us now is George Mendoza. He's the co-owner of Monica's and he's involved in this lawsuit. What's going on, George? How come you guys can't kiss and miss makeup? I mean, can't you just deliver a bag of cash to City Hall? It's not very far away. It's easy walking distance even in the winter, isn't it? In the way, it is. And tell you truth, it might be more cost efficient than when all the work we've done, hire attorneys, a peer company to help us put these together. But she has the advantage on us. She pays for her legal defense with taxpayer dollars, a complete injustice. The effect it has on our small business community of Italian-American business owners running Italian-American restaurants in an Italian-American neighborhood is tremendous. She devalues the value of our indoor seats by flooding the city with additional seats outdoors and not giving us an opportunity to compete with the rest of the restaurants in the city on a sunny day. It devalues the value of our contracts, of our leases, of our licenses, of the commercial taxes we paid. And it's just tyranny, tyranny by somebody who is not qualified to manage the city of Boston. I've asked you this before, George, and I think everybody's wondering why does she dislike you people so much? I mean, again, it's easy walking distance to Charlestown, to Chinatown, to Beacon Hill. And again, as you say, none of those neighborhoods, their restaurants don't have these restrictions. What's going on? You know, I still believe, and I said this to you a couple of years ago, when we started this, that this is an attack on a small ethnic community, Italian-Americans of European descent, who are part of the history of Boston. The Democratic Party, the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, including Michel Wu, are against Europeans, are against men, are against white people. It's unfortunate. It's unfortunate. You said, and you don't want to believe it. I love Boston. I love the city of Boston. I work with most of the politicians in the last 30 years, and to put in the city first and moving forward. She has decided that while she plays political bingo, she needs to fill all her squares. And one of them is diversity, equity, and inclusion. And the fact that the President United States, Joe Biden, has talked very poorly about white people. Warren, at least of it, Warren has done the same, talking about... She stopped being a white person for a number of years, even, George. Now she's a white person again. Yeah, I know. I know. I mean, she was an American Indian for a while, while we figured out otherwise. Throughout the year that we stayed silent, we did a lot of research on the topic. We hired three great attorneys, Tom Frangelog, Kevin Altieri, and Jim Colletta. And we, through the Freedom of Information Act, we obtained several thousand, over 60,000 communications between them, in which they incriminate themselves for what they did. I'm going to give you another one how. We backed when they charged at the $500 pass, $500 per car, the space of the cars that we took. Costing us, some of our smaller business owners, 40,000 dollars a year, the biggest business owners with multiple business, over a hundred thousand dollars a year. She said, and they said, that they were going to use that funding to litigate the issues that autopilot costs to the neighborhood. Well, through our research, we found out that she didn't do so. Otherwise, she purchased herself a electric car. Yeah, you can't earmark money. That's an old lesson in government. But I always ask you this, George. You have a state rep. He's the number. He used to work for Sal Demacey, who went to prison. But he, Michelowitz, is now like the number two guy in the house. You know, maybe not technically, but he is. He's the number two guy. He's got a lot of power. If you're a powerful legislator, you have clout over the city of Boston. They need things from Beacon Hill. Why isn't he helping you out? Well, you know what he did? He used us. He used us when he first started his political career with one of our neighborhood councils. He's kept from the neighborhood. We all embraced him and supported him and promoted him. And he is what he said today because we gave him a good start. But now he has the interest of people with bigger pockets than we have. Like you started, bag of money. He's contributors to his campaigns. Continue to dump money on him and collude against us. The North End Waterfront Residence Association has their hands all over this. A big emphasis with water for these people living in very prison condominiums. They have underground parking. They are not affected by what happens in the neighborhood, but they hate the working-class people of Boston. You know, the North End is a perfect example of a success story. You have the working-class people of the North End who went through very tough times throughout their history. Embrace capitalism and independent thinking. And you have a bunch of great business owners who have done nothing but contribute to the city. Through attacks, through meals to access to the maintenance and preservation of the neighborhood. To the little criminals we have, because she doesn't clean the streets. She doesn't, she doesn't control the pester out of there on the streets. And then she goes ahead and like a good democratic politician from Boston blames the constituents for the services she is failing to provide. George, did you get invited to the Christmas party at the at the parkman house? Oh, that's right, you're white. Exactly, but you know what's funny? We did a lot of research on that. Okay, when they send the email out to invite the electorates of color and that they sent to everyone, they call them the honorable electorates of color. Okay, when they sent the email to cancel the invitation to the white members of the city council, they were no longer honorable. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be laughing. It is a discrimination and it's bigotry. It is discrimination is bigotry today. She held an event for women in women's month and none of the speakers were white. Okay, nothing, I mean, we have nothing against minorities. The other thing is an Italian neighborhood, but we employ thousands of people from all of our other communities in the city. Okay, and we do not discriminate against where they come from, what they do, what they prefer, what they don't prefer. We're looking for good people to come to work and help us in adventures. And we are very pleased with the people that are working for us. But those people are affected by what she does to the owners of the businesses they work at. I assume, I assume we don't have much more time left, George, but I assume, you know, her administration is saying they can't allow outdoor dining in the north end because it's, it's a more, more congested neighborhood than all the other congested neighborhoods, even in the, in the general area in the north part of the city. Is that what they're, is that their argument? That's what they're claiming, how we, but you know what? We spend the year investigating the claims. Okay. And we have a satellite pictures of our neighborhoods. We have a comparison pictures of the width of streets and sidewalks. And then I think it's not well congested. Handaway street is wider and roomier than, than than other large avenues in the city. Like a Nubre street, Nubre street is much more congested than the north end. We don't, we did not get the number of 311 calls they claim we had. Okay. None of the things that they are claiming that we, we are, we're not. Okay. It's not true. The other thing too, that they, she took you see at 2023 to have a mission of neighbors and business owners, 11 of them, handpicked by her to pollute against us with a, with, with an organization, we're committed to, to work out the ins and outs of auto patio for the 2024 season, six out of those 11 people voting in favor of the auto patio season. Well, the city did not see it that way. They went ahead, they scratched that. And they said that they hadn't come out to a conclusion that would allow us to open up in 2024. Retaliation, six of those people said the letters signed the letter to the city, complained it to the fact that they were never heard on what opinion they had and that the vote of six to five, you know, the, you know, the old saying you can't fight city hall. I'll stick to my original suggestion, a bag of cash. Let me tell you something, how we, we're fighting city hall. We're going to continue to fight city hall. We hope that we can have a herd, our case hurting in court. The complaint was filed on January 5th. We have amended the complaint to add 2024 as, as another counts. And we have a lot of information, 60,000 communications between the city, Nuhan, colluding against the neighborhood of hardworking people. All right. At the very least, we're going to embarrass you. I hope, I hope you win, George. I'm obviously on your side rather than the Wu Klux Klan, as we call it now, since the, since the Kwanza party at, at the Parkman House, for the electeds of color, but not the electeds of non-color. George Mendoza from Monica's, thank you and good luck in the, in the, in your lawsuit. 844-500-4242, I'm how we car. The emperor of hate, how we car, is back. 844-500-4242, textors are saying what George needs is Counselor and Jullo, Counselor Bayoni, one of those guys. They're not, they're not coming through that door though, and George knows it. Was it they used to, the, and Jerry and Jullo used to hang out at Francesco's, I think, on North Washington Street. He said, when they, when their feds arrested me, says, I'll be back before my pork chops are cold. And he was gone for 26 years, I think. And his smiley and Jullo hung out at the, in the cafe, Pompeii, because he didn't like Jerry's B.S. and, but anyway, I hope they win. I hope they win. I, I think they're on to something. Today's poll question, which you can vote in at howiecarshow.com is, who is the worst president in U.S. history? Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, LBJ, Richard Nixon, James Buchanan, or Joe Biden. I'm voting for Biden. 83% say Biden, 11% say Obama. 2% say Jimmy Carter, LBJ, and James Buchanan. And 1% say George W. and Richard Nixon. Everybody's in on the act. I think George W. Bush is underrated in this competition, actually. Although, again, I voted for Brandon. 844-542. You know, Howie, thank you for taking my call number one and number two is, and here it is. Five minutes into a lame brain, empty head, I turned the TV off and I went to bed and I just waited to watch the excerpts, you know, the playbacks. And you know what, I don't give a damn. You know what, this guy is an empty suit and we need to get rid of him. The problem is, on the other hand, is they've thrown and Jamie Raskin and Chef and, you know, blah, blah, blah, all the criminals have thrown everything against Trump, including the kitchen sink. And we're at a turning point now, Howie, where I think if this doesn't happen, we don't turn this around. We're done in 2024. This country, it's over with. And I truly believe that, Howie. Yeah, no, I know. I mean, I don't want to, you know, I don't want to overdramatize it, but I tend to agree with you, Pete. I mean, this is kind of like the last chance. I know that's what they said about 2016, you know, it was called the Flight 93 election, meaning, you know, the plane that they brought down on 9/11. But, you know, it's gotten only gotten worse. I mean, these people are totally out of control. I'm going to get into it in the next segment about what they did with this phone call in Georgia. I mean, it's really outrageous. They're trying to send this guy to jail on a phone call that was illegally recorded. And then when they didn't get what they wanted on the illegally recorded phone call, they made stuff up that he said. I mean, how bad is it? I mean, is this any worse than they would do in any kind of third world country? You know, they're talking about how bad Putin is. This is something they would do in Russia, isn't it? Exactly, Howie. And you know what? The other thing is to have more than anything else. If anybody on your show or your listeners, as myself do, thinks that they're not going to pull out all the stops to rig it again, you're sadly mistaken. You're living in another world. You're in deep space like my power meter up here in northern New Hampshire. All right, Pete. Well, when we come back, I'll read you. This is really amazing, this story. And again, it's getting, it's getting no, no play, no publicity, but illegal recordings. They throw mob cases, drug cases out of court because the illegal recordings. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. 844-542-42. I tweeted out this story from the Federalist. It's pretty interesting. And again, it's not getting any play at all in the national media. And it's from a left-wing, slobbering, hagiography of Fannie Willis. It's called Find Me the Votes, a hard-charging Georgia prosecutor or rogue president in the plot to steal an American election. Find Me the Votes is, it's a made-up quote. That's the title of the book is a made-up quote. And it's written by Michael Ishikoff, who was one of the original Russian collusion hoaxers. He was given the Hillary Clinton opposition research that was made up the steal dossier, the pee-pee tape. And he ran with it. And that's what they used to get all their illegal surveillance warrants against Carter Page and others to bring down Trump. So now he's got a new book out, right? And it's about this, and it includes stuff about the phone call, but it also includes stuff about Willis. So let me just fill you in on some stuff you may not know about Willis. I didn't know about it until I read this story in the Federalist. And again, we tweeted it out. So you just go to @howiecarshow. Willis, her father, was a Black Panther. You knew that. She worked for Beverly Hill's attorney Howard Schmuckler before he was disbarred and also before he was in prison for running a fraudulent mortgage rescue company. That was her first employer when she became an officer of the court. She worked for another lawyer in Atlanta who was disbarred for tipping off a drug dealer to an impending DEA raid. At that firm, she also represented a crack dealer who turned out to be the male stripper at her bachelorette party. So the night before her official first day on the job as D.A. in Fulton County, Atlanta in 2021, word leaked of a recent phone call between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. This was in the Washington Post. Of course, the story the Washington Post ran was totally fake news. The phone call had been dishonestly portrayed by Trump opponents and Willis hoped that Raffensperger had been in Fulton County for the call so that she could prosecute Trump based on the false understanding of the call. However, the person who recorded the phone call wasn't in Fulton County or even in Georgia, which is a problem. Jordan Fuchs, F-U-C-H-S, a political activist who serves as Raffensperger's chief of staff was in Florida, where it is illegal to record a call without all parties to the call consenting to the recording. She neither asked for nor received consent to record the call. So she recorded the call illegally in Florida and then made up quotes from the, she had a copy, she got to just, I'm sure she wrote it down, a transcript, made a transcript, didn't say that the transcript didn't say anything. So she made stuff up and the Washington Post, it was so excited to have this fake news, they didn't even check, they just ran with it. Trump said, find the votes. Fuchs first gave the Washington Post fabricated quotes, they later had to retract, they had to retract the quotes. President Trump had with someone in the elections office, I'll bet they wanted to give themselves the Pulitzer Prize. You know, they made up all that crap in the Russian collusion hoax and gave themselves the Pulitzer Prize and never gave it back. Though Fuchs was not busted for her lie until March 2021, months after the fabricated quotes were used to impeach President Trump, the authors of the book, again, Michael Ishikoff, who created the, who was one of the major creators of the Russian collusion hoax. They say the embarrassment of being found out, taught her the importance of recording phone calls, such as the early January 2021 phone calls that formed the basis of, of willlessness investigation. Huh? Huh? That doesn't make sense. That is the author of the Federalist piece says that does not explain how this lesson worked in terms of the space time continuum. So, so when she was busted in March of 2021 for making up the quotes, she learned not to do what she did in January 2021. Yeah, it makes no sense. This is where the authors of the book admit that the very recording of the call was a crime. Fuchs has never talked publicly about her taping of the phone call. She learned after the fact that Florida, where she was at the time, is one of 15 states that requires the two-party consent for the taping of phone calls. A lawyer for Raffensperger's office asked the January 6th committee not to call her as a witness for reasons the committee's lawyers assumed were due to her potential legal exposure. As Jerry Angelou would say, the vulnerability is just a little too much. Committee agreed, but when she was called before a Fulton County special grand jury convened, convened by Fannie Willis, she was granted immunity. Oh, but see, she's not she's not a she's not a someone who's offering a witness to put guilty people in jail. She's being offered immunity from a crime that she committed for which there were victims, i.e. the president and all of his co-defendants. She confirmed the taping according to three sources with direct knowledge of her uh of her testimony. The problem with Fannie Willis's political prosecution is that the book convincingly shows the entire prosecution rests on a piece of evidence that everyone now knows was illegally obtained. Never mind that the evidence has also been completely misinterpreted. Fruit of the poisonous tree, that's what it's called, fruit of the poisonous tree is a doctrine that extends the exclusionary rule to make evidence in admissible in court if it was derived from evidence that was illegally obtained. So what that means is that if you put an illegal wiretap on on a criminal and you get him incriminating himself and his with his cohorts, you can't use that against him. You can't put him in jail with that because you illegally obtained the evidence. It was the the illegal wiretap was the tree and the evidence that you obtained was the fruit. This is fruit of the poisonous tree and on top of that, the fruit is poisoned by being made up. I mean how bad is it? How bleeping bad can it possibly get eight four four five hundred forty two forty two eight four four five hundred forty two forty two. I'm sorry to take so much time with that, but it's just it's just so infuriating. So it's you know, I've been I've been angry for months that they they made up these quotes in the Washington Post ran with them and then waited two months later after his impeachment to admit that the everything he was impeached on was false. But now it turns out it's even worse. It's much worse than that. Eight four four five hundred forty two forty two. It's it's like it's like the bit someone says five five boy says it's like the Venman Ukrainian call. Oh, he was trying to shake down Clinton or he was trying to shake down Zelensky and then then they get to then they actually give given the transcript Venman and they say is this the way that what happened? Oh, yes, this is accurate. Where's the shake down? Well, there is no shake down. I guess I got it wrong. I mean, he you know, they I've been attacked for saying on TV that you know, like a King Lear, Trump is a man more sinned against than sending and they say, Oh, King Lear was crazy. Yeah, but he was still a man more sent against than sending. He was framed. This is ridiculous. Eight four four five hundred forty two forty two before you go back to the phone lines. Tucker Carlson had a great great analysis of the state of the union last night on the Tucker Carlson network cut 10. Joe Biden is also a cruel and vicious demagogue, a man who has no problem at all denouncing his fellow Americans. We're putting his political opponents in prison as he has done. And that was all on display tonight. That was possibly the darkest, most un-American speech ever given by an American president. In fact, it wasn't a speech. It was a rant entirely lacking in decency or generosity to his fellow Americans. In Joe Biden's very first sentence, he compared Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. He did not describe Trump as the other party's candidate, which he is a political opponent in a country that's had peaceful elections for 250 years. No, according to Joe Biden, Donald Trump is Adolf Hitler. He is an existential threat to freedom and democracy. If he wins, you will die and so will your country. That was the first sentence. But that was really the last time he mentioned the United States at all for paragraphs and paragraphs. Biden quickly explained that actually his top priority has nothing to do with America's top priority is sending billions more to Ukraine. A foreign war in Eastern Europe, a war across the world that has nothing to do with the United States. Senator Ted Cruz cut one. Look, I think tonight was astonishing. I've never seen anything like it. It was a campaign speech, but it was an exceptionally bad campaign speech. Joe Biden was angry. He was bitter. He was screaming. As you noted, the entire night, he was radical and extreme. And he was completely out of touch with the American people. And here's Jake Tapper, a Democrat operative with a press pass conceding the obvious cut eight. This presentation, his enunciation, of course, is not as clear as it once was a decade or two ago. His mind did seem fairly sharp. He had lived a response to a pretty harsh moment as some heckling about the tragic murder of UGA student Lake and Riley. He got her name wrong. He called her Lincoln, Riley. But as a general note, he condemned her murder, which was something that people were talking about. He misgendered her. For Republicans did that, he would be accused of misgendering. He would be shunned in polite society for all time. Sharon, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Sharon. Good evening, everyone. And I'm glad I listened to those broadcasts that you just made because I was on hold. I'll tell you what is how we look at the nominee's president that will probably end up with Biden and Trump. I'm a Trump supporter, but look at the choice, Biden. I do have a couple of brief comments, and I'm hoping that parents of school-aged children who may be getting ready to college and some college students now who are praying that they'll get a free tuition break, something like that, that nothing Howie and I know because I'm older than you are, did nothing unless it's actually free. Somebody along the line is paid for this or is going to pay for this. In some of these wise young adolescents who think they know it all and have turned woke, etc., peace, free, etc. When they finally get into the workforce, Howie and really attain maybe a decent job, if ever they're asking them again, they're going to be seeing about 38, 40 percent of their pay got gone. And I think this is true. Well, they're not going to see it gone because they never see pay stubs anymore because everything is direct to positive. But you raise an interesting point about there not being any good jobs. They're spending all this money at $39 billion for the CHIPS Act to encourage semi-conductor fabrication in the US. There's an interesting story in the Hill about $39 billion in federal grants and aid for all these big companies. You know what? They're not using it. You know why? Because there's so many, there's frustration with DEI requirements embedded in the CHIPS Act. They have all this stuff. The CHIPS Act's current identity is a jobs program. This is in the Hill, not a right wing publication. As a jobs program for favored minorities means companies are forced to recruit heavily from every population except white and Asian males already trained in the field. It's like fishing in all the places you aren't getting bites. Really interesting story. I'm Howie Carr. Howie Carr will be right back. You're listening to The Howie Carr Show. If you haven't heard, we've started a new podcast feature. It's called Meet the Experts with Howie Carr. That would be me. Periodically, I'll be sitting down with people who are familiar to the Howie Carr radio network and our listeners and talking with them about subjects they're intimately familiar with. This week, I spoke with David Brieger, better known to our audience as Silver Dave from Local Silver Mint. Silver Dave is extremely passionate about the precious metals industry and silver in particular. In this week's episode of Meet the Experts, Silver Dave retails his fascinating introduction into the world of precious metals as well as his predictions about the future of the monetary system as we know it. Here's a sneak peek. Tell us a little bit more about how you got into the silver business. I was in the Army Special Forces. Most of the different countries that were in Afghanistan were wasting massive amounts of money on overpriced useless crop. I returned home and I decided to deep dive into researching the financial system. I discovered that the money that we are using is actually paper tickets. I decided I didn't want to work for the government anymore. I wanted to get into the silver business because I wanted to help Americans with this problem. It's up 7% since January 1st price of silver. How has it done over the past five years? I'm less fixated on the price gains of silver even the past year or five or 10 years. Most of the silver market is paper promises for silver for which no silver exists. And there's a lot of experts that believe that 99% of the silver market is just paper. And you're saying that what you need to do if you want to buy silver is you have to buy something that you can hold in your hand. The simplicity of silver and gold is that you can literally hand it to a person in exchange for goods and services. So you don't need to get your app and that you need to have internet and that you need a bunch of codes. One of the products that we make is one tenth ounce silver. I felt that there was a void. If there's a financial calamity, I would see people needing not jet skis and motorboats, but basic essentials like a dozen eggs and whatever is the smallest piece of silver that you have. That's what you're going to pay for those items. I like silver dimes a lot, the pre 1965 US currency dimes. The downside to them is that they don't say silver anywhere on them. If you gave someone a dime for a dozen eggs and he was not knowledgeable about coins, you might say, what is this? Ten cents. Now you've got to give him a history lesson. Silver Dave aka David Brieger. This has been a lot of fun talking to you and thank you very much for coming on Meet the Experts. I'm going to get some of those silver dimes when I get back to New England. That's a taste of Meet the Experts with this week's experts. Silver Dave from Local Silver Minute and Wear New Hampshire.
