The morning minute is brought to you by Perfect Smiles in Nashua, New Hampshire. Do what I did and update your smile. Call 1-844 a perfect smile. When you change your smile, you change your life. A few months back, in what seemed like a far-fetched, unrealistic play, Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Druskel asked Bay State residents to accept illegal aliens into their homes. Other elected officials saw her play, and now the idea apparently isn't so far fetched. Migrant housing programs are becoming a reality in Massachusetts and now Colorado. We put out a feeler to all the landlords we have connections with and basically said, listen, we're going to have some newcomers who are going to need housing. We're going to kind of a rink cap, $2,000 if we could stay underneath there. The non-profits already have connected folks with all kinds of housing all over all over Denver. Here's Denver Mayor Mike Johnson. We're going to have to fund creative ways to reduce the number of folks we serve, the number of services we can provide, and also reduce the budget at the same time. As hefty as they might be, those welfare checks won't go far towards paying the rent. It's all fun and games until these new tenants overstay their welcome.
