(audience cheering) - There's a new sea corridor for aid to Gaza. AP correspondent Charles D'Aladezma has more. - The European Commission President says a charity ship will leave for Gaza as part of a pilot operation to test a new humanitarian sea corridor, delivering aid directly from Cyprus to the Palestinian enclave. Ursula von der Leyen says the EU, together with the US and the United Arab Emirates, are launching the sea corridor to deliver large quantities of aid to Gaza who faces a humanitarian catastrophe. von der Leyen adds the corridor will open as early as Sunday, preceded by Friday's pilot voyage by the charity Open Arms. I'm Charles D'Aladezma. - At a news conference, Major General Pat Ryder, the Pentagon Press Secretary, says the Defense Department's all-domain anomaly resolution office, called ARO, has found no sign of alien life in reported UFO sightings going back decades. - ARO has found no verifiable evidence for claims that the US government or private companies have access to or have been reverse engineering, extraterrestrial technology. ARO has found no evidence that any US government investigation, academic sponsored research or official review panel has confirmed that any sighting of a UAP represented extraterrestrial technology. Former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez was convicted today in New York of charges that he conspired with drug traffickers and used his military and national police force to enable tons of cocaine to make it unhindered into the United States. Speaking with reporters, President Biden was asked if it was a mistake to refer to an immigrant as a quote, illegal, unquote, during a state of the union address. - Do you regret using the word illegal to describe immigrants last night, sir? - Well, probably.
