AP News. I'm Ed Donahue. The Republican National Committee voted to install Michael Watley and former President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara, as the new chair and co-chair of the party. This is Trump's hand-picked leadership team. His team is promising not to use the RNC to pay his mounting personal legal bills. After his State of the Union address, President Biden plans to travel to pitch his plan for the country's future. "I know it may not look like it, but I've been around a while. When you get to be my age, certain things become clearer than ever." The President will try to ride the post-speech momentum to Pennsylvania and Georgia for campaign events in two critical battleground states. A hot mic moment after the State of the Union address revealed President Biden's growing frustration with Israel's leader over humanitarian aid in Gaza. Here's the AP's Sagar Magani. As the President greeted lawmakers on the House floor, Colorado Senator Michael Bennett urged him to "keep up the pressure" on Benjamin Netanyahu. The President saying he and Netanyahu are going to have a "come to Jesus" meeting. An aid, then quietly told the President the mics were still on. The President has been more public about his frustration with the Israeli government's unwillingness to allow more aid into Gaza and aired it during the speech, calling on Israel to "do more in alleviating Gaza's suffering." "Humanitarian assistance cannot be a secondary consideration or a bargain chip." Sagar Magani Washington. The maker of a much debated drug for Luke Eric's disease says its therapy failed to help patients in a large follow-up study, but stopped short of committing to follow through on a prior pledge to "pull the drug from the market." Passengers had to be evacuated from a United Airlines plane after it rolled off a runway and got stuck in the grass in Houston. This is AP News. Scientists plan to observe the behavior of animals during the upcoming solar eclipse. Several zoos along the path will be monitoring changes in behavior when the skies dim next month. In the past, the flamingos all gathered around their chicks during the eclipse, the peak of the eclipse, like they were trying to protect the clip checks. Adam Hearthstone rose at North Carolina State University is leading the team. At one zoo, tortoises started breeding during the eclipse. There was a Komodo Dragon. They're a little bit scary, but they don't do anything. But when the eclipse started... Just in those couple minutes during the eclipse, it started running around and had a reaction. For this eclipse, some but not all of these animals will be observed. We're going to look at a different group of gorillas and see if they behave the same way as previously. We're going to look at another group of giraffe. One researcher says the eclipse is mimic short, fast-moving storms when skies darken many animals take shelter. I'm Ed Donahue, AP News.
