Most of the time, it could be some of my overseas. - Where's overseas? - Like overseas, that's the name of the United States. - Oh, overseas of United States? - Yeah, of the United States. - This is overseas. (laughing) (speaking in foreign language) What do you do with 29.4 billion, huh? - Yeah, yeah. - And they think we can go older than doing Africa. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's just same thing. - Yeah. - It's like, do it in the world, and then do Africa. Let's just do it. (upbeat music) - Let's chill. - What up, Chapla Chilis? Yes, it's your boy, Coach L.J. And I'm with my lovely wife, my best friend, my business partner, my arsonist, the one and only, lady, Caesar, she is in the building. - Oh, father, father. (laughing) - You know, we're about that, Bob, each and every week. You know what I'm saying? You know, you gotta sort of like to jump right in with welcome to Sunday, Sunday, where we all about learning, being informative, and having fun. So yeah, what's poppin' today? First of all, I'd like to say happy women appreciation, Mark? - Yee. - Happy. - International. - International. - Women's month. - Yes. - We've just come from celebrating International Women's Month on Friday and Friday the 8th of March. If you're watching this in any other month of the year, well, we just celebrated Women's Month International, because I know in South Africa, we celebrate Women's Month on the 8th of August. - Okay. - No, 9th of August. - 9th of August. - Yeah, but the 8th of March is International Women's Month. Well, Women's Day. - Day, yes. - But the whole of March is Women's Month, which happens to be my birthday. - Yes, yes. - Our anniversary. - Yes. - Yes. - So much is a very special month to us. And yeah, so on the spirit of it being Women's Month, we thought, let us check out who the big dogs are. - Yes. - In terms of Women, the top 10 richest women in the world, in 2020 fall. - Mm-hmm. - Mm-hmm. - 23, 23, 24. - Who are the top dogs? And while we're there, we're gonna jump into LJ's predictions. - Ah! - Let's see. Maybe not the names. Let's see what you think. Just throw stuff out there. Let's see, what's your thought around the top 10 richest women? You don't think we have any black women? - Yeah, yeah. I think we do have-- - Americans, any Africans, any Europeans. What's your, do you know any names? - Well, I believe Oprah is up there. Yeah, Oprah Winfrey. I believe she's up there. But somebody could be somebody overseas. - With overseas? - Like overseas. That's in the United States. - All overseas of United States. - For me, this is overseas. (laughing) (speaking in foreign language) - I don't know what that means. Over the sea. - Over the sea, yes. - So, over the sea. - Yeah, we over the sea. - Over the sea, yes. - Even Africa is over the sea. - Yes, over the sea, yes, so. - Well, it could possibly be somebody from Africa. - It could be? - Yeah. - It could be in Ethiopia, you know. - You love Ethiopia because you eat Ethiopia. (laughing) - Now my brother's a sister, you know what I'm saying? My brother's a sister, yes. - Yeah, look at Ethiopia, yeah, he does. He always throws Ethiopia out there because his heritage is Ethiopian. - Yeah, but it could be somebody from Kenya. It could be somebody from the Middle East. - I also love Kenya, you really love Kenya. - Yeah, also it could be somebody from the Middle East. - Yeah. - Anybody from America? - I just said Oprah. - Oh, okay, it's black. - Yes. - What other nations you think are there? - Uh, I'm not sure. - Of course, there's a few Caucasians, white women. That's up there, so, you know. - Okay. - Yeah. - So, as a disclaimer, I also do not know the list. I came across this article done by nine.com, ninenews.com, and it was an article done by Yashi Sharma, February 7, 2024, so it's pretty-- - Recent, recent. And I thought, let us jump onto this and talk about these top 10 richest women in the world in 2024. So we've heard, so we've heard of these predictions. I don't know who they are as well, so I'll be just as surprised as you are. But one thing that I know and I've read is that these top 10 richest women in the world, they together are worth $450 billion between all of the 10. And these are women across five different countries. - Okay, you know who else out there? I just thought about it. Jeff Bezos' wife. - I think so, too. - Jeff Bezos' wife, between them both. Yeah, they're like the second richest, because Jeff Bezos is like the second richest, second or third. So his wife had to be the secondest there as well, because-- - But they split there. - They split every day. Amazon, yeah. - I'm saying it's 50/50, so is it still number two in the world? - Yeah, he's two. - Even after the split. - Yeah. - Yeah, it's still number three, yeah. I think, too, he liked three or two. - So you think his wife is ranking one? - Oh, yeah, she's up there. - She's wearing number one. - Probably three, probably four. She could be number one. And Jeff Bezos' number one, and number three, out of the women, she'd probably be number one. - Okay, so Eljay doesn't know, he's-- - Yeah, I don't know. - He's predicting as usual that. Those are, Eljay's predictions. Coach Eljay, yes. (audience applauds) - Okay, coach Eljay to me. - Change. - He actually lent it to me. - Change. - And/or hubby to me. And then, so the blacks, you're just saying, only Oprah. - Yeah, only Oprah, only Oprah. - I really don't know of any other black women as well, who's a billionaire. I'm sure they are. - Yeah, it is. Beyonce, Beyonce. - Beyonce, oh yes, Beyonce, as well as the musician, again, the other musician. - Oh. - Alicia Keys? - No. - Rihanna. - Rihanna. - Rihanna, yes, yes. - But she's only like a bitch. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're not scratching the surface. - They just got to the bill, yes. They just got to the bill, yes, they just got to the bill, yes. - Okay, I was saying, these women come from five different countries, and they are some of the different countries, okay. The United States is one. I believe Africa is another. Middle East is one. We are done with the predictions, okay. Some are chief executives, some are philanthropists, and some are heroes. - This is good. - Which means they are heirs of certain. - Yes, yes. Legacy. - Legacy. - Oh, okay. - Legacy. - Legacy money. - Oh, it's not legacy money. It's, what do they call it? - In heritage. - In heritage, yeah, legacy money. They're the Rockefellers of the world. - So let's meet them. - But hold on, here's the thing. Another thing that I picked up that I liked, diversity. - How do you know? - No, no, because I'm talking about. - About different countries. - Not just five different countries, but different spheres of things, philanthropists, executives, entrepreneurs. So I let you know that you don't have to be an entrepreneur to be a baby. - You can get it through somebody leaving. The dough for you, I mean, that's the best way, y'all. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, you know, but majority is entrepreneurs, but you can't do it as an executive. But you gotta work hard, y'all. - All right. - And you gotta do a lot of investing in the thing. - I didn't see, I didn't see, I'm dropping here. It said Chief Executives. - Yeah, I suppose some of them, it's like, oh, Oprah Winfrey is a, it's a business woman. - No, no, no, it's Oprah's in there. Remember, we, this is the top 10 in the world. - In the world, she might not be up there, 'cause she's just scratching the surface around. - She's not even multi-billion, I don't think. - Multi is more than two or more. - No, multi-billion is 10,000 or more. 10 billion or more. - Is it not, is it not? - No, that's just a, just a billion is. - Okay. - Yeah, you're in the second digits. - Nah, I think multi is more than-- - No, no, no, it's, multi-billion is, it's, it's, it's. It's like multi-million is more than 10 million. - Okay, let's continue. So let's meet. - Okay. - Number 10. - Number 10. - Abigail Johnson. - Abigail Johnson. - I have no idea who she is. - Okay. - But guess what, she's a multi-billion. Yeah, she doesn't need to be known by me. Abigail has a net worth of 28.6 billion. - Oh yeah, definitely Oprah is not up there. - I doubt it. - Can you imagine if-- - Yeah. - As to the 8.6 billion. - It's the 8.8, yeah, oh. - The 60 year old, 62, sorry, the 62 year old is an heir and current chief executive of American investment from Fidelity Investments. - Fidelity, Fidelity, that's a bank. - So that's Abigail. - Abigail. - No. - It's an insurance company, actually, financial institution. - Yeah, thanks to financial institution. Fidelity also does insurance. - Insurance, they also do-- - No, it's a concrete, glomerate company, actually. - Yeah. - They also do-- - Of course they got other things, she got a lot of security, they got a lot of-- - Oh, wow. - Yeah, oh, yeah, yeah. They ain't ready to stay as well. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - So number nine is Savitri Jendal. Savitri Jendal. Savitri has a net worth of 29.4 billion. - Okay, so what country is they from? The first, number 10. - Abigail is Americans, an American investment from-- - I know, Fidelity is an American. - And then Savitri is-- - Listen to the thing. - Listen to her age. The 83-year-old-- (laughs) - 83. - What are you doing? We're doing like one-four billion, huh? - Yeah, yeah. - The 83 is the widow of steel power and cement and infrastructure company Jendal, group founder of Omprakash Jendal. She is a businesswoman and a politician. - You know what? That's the woman that just donated some money. - Really? So we just wear it, so-- - Yes, yes. - I know, so education. - Check. - Yeah. - Jendal is number nine. - Number nine. - And she's from India. She's a businesswoman and a politician. And she's 83. - 83. - That's-- - Never too old to be wealthy. - Never too old to be wealthy. - Never too old to be wealthy. - Number eight. Raphael appointed Daemonte. - Okay. - Raphael has a net worth of 30 billion. - Mm-hmm. - A 78-year-old, why are they so old? - It tastes hard, it tastes like the buildings, it tastes hard. - A 68-year-old Swiss businesswoman owns the Mediterranean shipping company. - Mm-hmm. - The world's largest shipping line with her husband, Gilengo, upon him. - Okay. - She remains very much out of the public eye. - Mm-hmm. - As you can tell by the lack of photo of her. - Most money, most of these people that got money, they off the grid. A lot of them, you don't know who they are, because they don't want to be seen. - Yeah, they don't blame them. - Yeah, they don't off the grid, but they don't want to, you know, they avoid. - Yeah, they avoid. - As much as they can. - They don't care about the limelight. - Yeah, well, I mean, if their business doesn't require that. - Yes, if it doesn't require that. - Yeah, it's like the Oprah's, you know, like the Beyonce's who, their business requires them to be in the public eye. - Yes, it does. - So if you're in a shipping company, why do you have to be seen? - Yeah, why do you have to be seen? - Yeah, why do you have to be seen? (laughs) - If you choose not to, then why not? Number seven is Gina. - Gina? - Reinhardt. - Okay. - Or Reinhardt or Reinhardt, I don't know how to pronounce it. - Mm-hmm. - She has a net worth of 30.2 billion. - 30.2 billion. - Mm-hmm. - Yeah, how old is she? - Just two, 0.2 shy of number eight. - No, mate. - She's 69. - She's 69. - Okay. - Australian billionaire. - Mm-hmm. - And is a mining magnet and report her father's mineral exploration and extraction company, hand-knock prospecting. She's the country's richest person and is also an investor and a cattle producer. - Okay. - She's the richest person in Australia. - Okay. - That is amazing. - Yes. - They have a woman who's the richest. - Mm-hmm. - You know, mining, you have to be a billionaire. - And again, these, most of these people is gonna be like second generation, third generation, because it takes time. You know, that's why Oprah Winfrey is not up there because if she had children, yeah, she's just for generations. So it takes multiple generations to get to that point as well. - Yeah. And as we can see the color of the skin as well. - No, but you got the-- - But look at that age. But look, yeah, but I mean, I'm talking about like, look at their age. It tells you a lot. - Yes. - You know, as well. Black people, unlike most Indians, I mean Indians, they were, I'll take it like in the aspect of South Africa. They were seen as second-class citizens in South Africa. It was first white, then Indians in South Africa. Then colors, then blacks, you know. So for blacks, we've always been the last citizens, like the list of the best. - Yes. - So it's no wonder that it's okay, I'm not gonna say it's okay, but it's no surprise that she can be part of the top 10. - Yes. - Because they built these millions in India as well. - 'Cause it kind of wasn't part of the apartheid and the slavery. - Although there were India had its own ups and downs because it was also under British colony. - Okay. - But, I mean, I guess there was one or two people who were able to go between the cracks and just make it, yep. So she's one of those. 'Cause remember her husband is the one, actually, who has the wealth, right? - You know what just passed on? - She, her husband, she's, oh, no, not even her husband. Yeah, she's a widow, her husband, yeah. Okay, number six. - Six. - Miriam Adelson. - Miriam Adelson. - Have you heard of any of these names? - Me too. Miriam has a net worth of 33.8 billion. 70 years old is a widow as well of Sheldon Adelson, the former chief executive of Casino Company Las Vegas Sands. Who died in 2021. - Yes. - The American Israeli currently runs the company and is also a philanthropist and a political donor. - Mm, okay. - I wonder who she's donating to. (laughing) - Yes, whoever wins, whoever is gonna win. - Yeah, these are the leads. - Yeah. - So that's Miriam. So I guess the Las Vegas Sands makes that much money. - Oh yeah, Las Vegas Sands, yeah, that makes a lot. That's all a game in that place. - I know. - Yeah. - Casino. - Yeah, casino. - And they make a lot of money. Casino. - How old is she? - She's what, 33.8 billion. - Yeah, because that is money, especially now, you know, just sports getting into it. So yeah, there's a lot of money in it. - I guess it's Sands has been there for a while. - For a long time. For a long time. - Las Vegas Sands. And I think Sands has spread his wings as well. They now have more hotels and stuff like that. - Yeah. - Right. - Number five, finally somebody looking younger. My Kenzie Scott. - My Kenzie Scott, yes. - She has a net, you know her? - Well, she don't want that donated a lot of money. - Oh, she's the one. - She don't want that donated a lot of money. - So she's number five. - She probably would have been high if she didn't donate much of her money. - Oh, well, well, this is February. So when did she donate? - Probably last year. - Yeah, so this was February. - But she would have been high, though. - Oh, okay. So her net worth is 34.5 billion. The 53 focus. - Yes. - The 53 year old claimed a 4% stake in Amazon. - Amazon. Guess who my Kenzie is? - Jeff Bezos. - Jeff Bezos. - Jeff Bezos, a little old. - Yes. - Jeff Bezos, Jeff Bezos, that's why. - I told you. - She changed her name as well. - She changed her name. Maybe she went back to her amazing name. - Wow, she's beautiful. - Yeah. - So the 53 year old. - Why are you gonna, oh my God. Why are you gonna do, why are you gonna cheat on her? - You know, she's gorgeous. - He claimed the one that helped you build it. - You know? - I said she's ugly. She's not ugly. - I mean, she's ugly. I mean, she's ugly. - I know. She helped you build it. Yeah, she helped you build it. - So the 53 year old claimed a 4% and it was only 4% stake. - Mm-hmm. - In Amazon, when she divorced her husband and founder, George, Jeff Bezos in 2019. - 4% stake, but also she also got, might have to have to have to have to ask us. So she had 4% in Amazon, which is, that's like royalty. It's still, it did forever. - Forever, ever. Unless they sell it or go under, she always get that 4%. But she also got half of it. - Talk about girls who married right. - It's okay. Girls who, who secured the bag. - Don't care the bag. - The philanthropist and novelist has pledged to donate at least half her wealth over the course of her lifetime. - Yeah. 14 billion and a half are fortunate. In just three years. - Wow. She donated 14 billion. - She donated 14 billion. - 14 billion. - 14 billion. - 14 billion and a half are fortunate in just three years. - Coming through, coming through. And remember, she's getting a lot of tax breaks by just donating. - Yeah. - So she'd run a donate and give it to the government, which is a smart move. - Mm-hmm. - So that's number five. - I can't see. - That's my candy. - Representing young ones. Thank you Jeff Bezos. (laughing) - Still getting that money. - All right. - Namo, Jacqueline Mars. - Mm-hmm. - Jacqueline has a net worth of 39.8 billion. The 84, we back to the oldies, the 84 year old American heir, heirists to the candy and food company. Mars in. - Mars. - Ah, candy. - I don't know, Mars. - Chocolate. - Oh. - Yeah, they chocolate. - Why is it not famous? Like the candy. - It's famous? - Really? What candy do they have that's famous? - Mars. - March? - Mars bar? - Yeah, Mars chocolate bar. - Oh. So the company made so much money? - Yeah. Well, that's been around for a long time. - Mm, probably that's why. - She is also a philanthropist. Of course you're gonna be a philanthropist when you have so much money. She's an investor and an advocate for women's education. - Ah, Mars. M&M. - Ah, well, who doesn't know M&M? - M&M candy. - Yeah, and M&M has quite a lot of-- - Yeah, I think I got a lot more candy in there. They got the Mars bar. They got M&M candy, so a lot of these chocolates, they have more than one candy. - Jaclyn is worth it in $9.8 billion. - Mm-hmm. - Okay, she's 84. - 84? - But she's an heir as well, so like you said, she's probably still a third generation. - Yeah, second generation. 'Cause you know, I remember chocolate candy. Yeah, Mars has been around for a long time. Definitely probably since-- - Number three. - Number three. - Julia Cotsch. - Julia Cotsch, okay. - Julia has a net worth of $60.1 billion, okay? She's a 61-year-old and had three children inherited a 42% stake in Cotsch Industries for my husband, David, who died in 2019. She's an American socialite and philanthropist. - Okay. - And she's also a gorgeous lady. - Yes. - Julia Cotsch. - Number two. - Number two. - Alice Walton. - Alice Walton. - Walton. - Walton, okay. - Alice Walton has a net worth of $64.8 billion. - The 74-year-old is an heir. It's from this money, from this money, that's just given to them. To the American supermarket conglomerate Walmart. - Walmart. Yeah, same order. - The father is same order. - The father is same order. - I'll see the daughter. - Yup. - Okay, yeah, same order, yeah, same order. Yeah, I should have done that, yeah. - She's believed to have amassed more than $15 billion in Walmart stock. - Wow. - How much, 15? - It's got $15 billion. - 15 billion? - Yeah, it's Walmart stock. - Mm. - But she's worth $64.8 billion. - Mm, yeah. Walmart's this is a popular stock. - Yup. - 15. - Number one. - Number one. (laughing) - Who are the richest woman? - Well, it's supposed to be-- - No, it's supposed to be-- (laughing) - Who is the richest woman in the world? - Francisco's Benacord Mayors. - Okay. - Have you heard of her? - No. - Me too. She is the world's richest woman. - Okay. - 70 year old Bose and network of 99.5 billion. - Uh-huh, okay. - US dollars. - 99? - 99.5 billion. - Billion. - What's this? - Francis Mayors. - Okay. - She is the granddaughter. - Okay. - I'm the founder of Beauty Company, Elle Oreo. - Elle Oreo. - Huh, wow. Elle Oreo. They've been around for a long time as well. - Been around for a long time. So, I mean, those are our 10 ladies. - Yes, you know what they're kind of not the richest though. 'Cause you know, it's some people that's off the grid that the least, the least, the least, the least, least, that you don't know about like the-- - Well, those-- - Like the susses in the rock and the rock chart. - Well, yeah, that's true. The rock chart. - Yeah, they like off the grid. Yeah, it's just even one that you don't know about. - That's 99.5 billion. (both laughing) - Okay, child. I mean, all you have to do is just breathe at that point. But now those are our ladies and they're representing. - Yes. - And thank you ladies. - Yeah, I mean, that woman can be-- - Oh, she's almost, she's almost a tree now. - Yeah. - She almost worth a tree now. Just five million, five million, five more billion, whatever, she'll be a tree now. Nah. - She sure is. - That go down to maybe the next generation. Make to get the tree now. - The sad part is that, of course, there's no black woman on top. - No, we first generation. Yeah, I mean, we had a lot, we asked slavery, we had potay, so we had a lot of struggle. But you know what though? Goggin, goggin do a whole lot and flip the script. (both laughing) - Well, we have a long way to go. - 'Cause the vibe of this is that the first will be last and the last will be first. So, you know, goggin, flip the script, but it does start with education. It does start with, you know, focus. It does start with determination. It does start with priorvities and having our priorities and all that. And, you know, like we've been discussing on the part, on the far the episodes, these things, it starts with that, you know, once we get that down past, start with our mindset too, because you see that the warm woman, she says she don't want to be seen because she's working. Come on, she's 80 something years old, still working. - She didn't say she doesn't say she, 'cause she's working. - But she working on her business. - She just prefers to be. - She put fun working on the business. - I don't know that, I didn't say that. They just say she's off the, she doesn't like taking pictures. - Okay, you added the part that she, okay. You, now, okay, I thought you read that, okay. But she probably is, you know, but you never know, 'cause these people, they just put their head down, they stay in their lane, and they do work, and they've been still reading, and they're still going out with their country clubs, and they talk in, you know. - Well, I see here, they say she's apparently responsible for decorating ships for the MSC cruises. - Okay. - I guess she does, now, she does that as a hobby. - As a hobby. - You know, but she is. - She's still working, because you know why? She don't, she understand, like, yo, I gotta stay busy, because I don't just don't want to die in my waffle, just do nothing, just, you know, so I gotta stay busy, so I keep the bones fresh, keep the mind shot. - Refuel a diamond, I take my head off to you, 'cause if I had much money, I don't want to be seen, you know? - Yes, yes, yes. But, you know, another thing too, it goes to show you, it doesn't matter how old you are. You know, you're still good work, you're still good build, you're still, you know, so don't stop, don't stop working. Yes, you might have some struggles, you might have a hard sometimes to move and to get up, and guess what, if you still got two legs, you're still gonna do a little something, then guess what, you keep working until you leave deserve, you know, because we haven't arrived until we leave, because if we stop moving and we start working, then basically, you know, we die, we just-- - But I want to say to these exceptional women, thank you. - Yes, thank you, yes, thank you for being up there, and hopefully, like, just like Bessel's ex-wife, you are, and most of them are philanthropists. - Yes, mostly. - They are definitely sharing their wealth. - Sharing their wealth. - So, tell us what you want to see in this women's month, because we really want to look at-- - Highlight. - Highlight women in the rest of this month, we're going to put on pause the education part. - Yes, yes. - Because we really want to just focus on women. - Maybe we could do the top 10 black women. - Yeah, we'll do that. - Top 10 black women. - Top 10, 'cause none of them are in the rich. - Doing the world and then doing Africa. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's just same thing. It's like doing the world, and then doing Africa. Let's just do Africa. - Because Africa's a whole country with its own. - Yeah. - Not just country, but continent, whole world. - Yes, yes. - So, we got to do the same thing with the black women, or black men, or whatever. Let's, we do the world, but we know we gotta do the black people, you know what I'm saying? - Yeah, so it's white people, and then it's black people.
