Clitherall Concert Society opened their 73rd season with an amazing group of four very talented musicians, called Klesma-ish, taking to the stage at Trinity Methodist Church and Community Hub. The four musicians, all classically trained, met whilst playing with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and discovered a love for performing Klesma and Jazz, which they have fashioned in their own distinctive style. An appreciative audience of over 80 were introduced to Klesma music, it was therefore an interesting evening, as the musicians traced the origins of Klesma from early each European travellers to its manifestations in Gypsy Jazz, Tango, Ballads and film scores. It was a first on another level also, as the concert was held in the Sanctuary of Trinity Methodist Church and Community Hub. Tell me when, tell me when, tell me when, tell me when. Will I see you again? [Music] Tell me it took a lifetime searching for the bottom line. I wasn't into searching, 'cause I was doing fine. I wasn't into fighting, chasing, sweating, slaving, fretting, racing. Any waste of effort isn't part of my design. Billy was an inspiration, positive and kind, until he laid confusion over. Come as you'd for mine, come and sense dictated I could never be so blind and thin. Then I see you, will I see you again? Will I see you again? Will I see you again? [Music] Happens, stands an episode and planned on in time. Co-incidence the second chance resounding like a rhyme. How fast may cross against the odds to wreck the plans you made. Among the crowd of bass that smiles to mount your misery. If only I could see you, there's no stranger defense side. And lets you know that what you were so sure you really lied. If only I could see you, there's the voice within your brain. And quietly and systematically it says it once again. And then, I really need to know. Will I see you again? Will I see you again? Will I see you again? [Music] [Music] Tell me when. [Music] Tell me when. [Music] It's putting you so lonely. [Music] If only I could see you. [Music] Maybe you can be free. [Music] If only I could see you. [Music] You'll never have to doubt me. [Music] If only I could see you. [Music] Maybe you could free me. [Music] If only I could see you. [Music] If only I could see you. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Will I see you again? [Music] Will I see you again? [Music] [Music] Will I see you again? [Music] [Music] Then I really need to know.
