Well, so my injury happened at 18 years old due to gun violence in Detroit, and I was introduced to the game by my mentor, a peer mentor, his name was Wei Ucola Sola. Eventually, he got me out. It took some co-hearsing, you know, to to get me out there, but he did, and the hook was that he was driving and I didn't know people with disabilities could drive. And I was like, wow, so I saw a life for myself. He got me out to the court. First time I just watched the intervention I got in the sports chair, and it was on from there. Absolutely. I'm Joey from Woodward Sports, just to name a few, but a lot of the local celebrities out there. You know, Mario, it's funny to me, because like I talked about, I played in this before, and like, it was one of the more eye-opening things I've ever done in my life, and I'm being real with you, man. Like, it was, yeah, but for real though, and it's something that I'm glad I got the opportunity to do because you don't know until you know. You know what I'm saying? It's about disability awareness, and that's what Reimagine Life Foundation, the sports ability, our wheelchair sports program falls up under, and that's where the wheelchair basketball team. We partnered with the Pistons a couple of years ago, and they lent us, let us use the name, and gave us some money, and you know, erasing funds, you know, not only for disability awareness, but you know, for people to know with disabilities that there is still life. You are still independent. You can still work, drive, raise a family. You know, it's not the end. You know, we just got to do things differently. So through our program with adaptive equipment, which is very expensive, you know, these fundraisers like the celebrity wheelchair basketball game helps a lot. So you know what? I'm not a three-point shooter, but my thing is I'm a hustler. I love defense. I love stopping the opposition. So the wheelchair basketball game, our game, the difference is 90% is really picking. So NBA has the picking role. Yeah. We really, we want numbers. So, you know, we're no lateral movement, right? But the thing is we want to get numbers. So we trying to pick the opposition off so we can create a, you know, a form three, you know what I mean, and come in and do good. So we go by the NCAA rules, but yeah, I meet, I'm a defensive person, but I love an offense. I love picking and keeping somebody back. You got to set the screen and get moving downhill. But I can score too. School basketball, bring it back. That's right. Yeah, the bad boys there. I'm from the bad boys there to say that, you know, maybe you come out now. Do you have special chairs that you use specifically? So, yeah, these are the difference between some people know a regular wheelchair and maybe even one that you use on the daily. What's the difference between a game chair? Thank you. That is great. Right there. So the chair that I'm in there, my everyday chair, it's basically, it's lightweight. It's more, you know, it's durable and everything. But our sports chairs, the difference is the wheels have a camber that goes out like a like a bow-legged type look. Oh, okay. It's a slant. So that's for the quick terms. See, I can't turn quick in the everyday chair because it's just, you know, the degrees of a camber is not deep as the sports chair. Also, you have the low back, the lightweight, and then we have click straps that, you know, strap is in really tight, you know. So some people, I'm paralyzed from the waist down. So from the belly button down. So I have pretty strong upper body core sub some of the and I'm a class two five. So it goes by classifications. So I'm like kind of like in a mental two five, I'm pretty strong upper body can push strong. Then it goes the highest is four five. So that's the amputees and them loss. You know, they have really good everything, motion with everything, they're strong. And the lowest is one. And that's the higher level paralyzed from the chest down. That means the chest strap to strap up because the balance is not there, but they're very strong, you know. That's awesome that every different level you find a way to be able to participate. Yeah, it goes by points, you know. So our games, you're allowed to have 15 points on the floor at all times. So that's how we added up through the points. So I'm a two five, you know, we try to, you know, just put it together. Yeah, we can't have a couple four fives. That's nine points right there. So, you know, we got to have five people out there. So, you know, unless you have three strong ones in, you know, on a two. So it, you know, we try to put together. Yes. So a lot of fun, very competitive, you know, can confirm. You guys aren't fooling around out there. Yeah. So you guys probably came, you know, away with, you know, hand burns, you know, and skin. What do you do about that? No, because I wanted to ask. So like, I shoot, I shoot from distance. Like that, that's kind of my thing. But I found like when I put the gloves on, I kind of lose the feel for the shot. You know what I'm saying? But you have to have the glove on. Yes. Your skin is going to burn on your hands. So the celebrities, we always, we, we encourage them to wear gloves. And the league, you can wear gloves to a certain degree, but it does take away from your shot to feel of the ball, you know. But me personally, it comes from repetitive, you know, yeah, always because you're pushing hard, you got to mind you. You're pushing very hard. You're going strong and then you're stopping at it, you know, so it's man, my hands, it took a couple of years to get challenged up exactly. Yeah, yeah, I'm such is life. And yeah, he's a smart guy. He knows his stuff. What's that? He has tone as a broad. He's got tone. But that's sort of how he played. High energy guy, good player. I think there's like a LeBron effect to this one. Ask DMACC. How taxing is it on an NHL team to make it to three straight, Stanley Cup finals? They say the NBA and NFL are hard because of the extra games, but is it more taxing with the physicality, travel, and schedule? I mean, I already played one sport or whatever like that. And it's-- you got to fight. You got to learn, right? Did you add an extra season on your career in playoff games? I played-- somebody brought to my attention yesterday that I played two full seasons of playoff hockey, right? Like, that's 82 games. That's 164 games. You know what I'm saying? So it's a different mentality when you say play. Like, regular season of playoffs are different, but it's a mentality of being prepared to play. I think what I love to vote playoffs, it was just about puck drop. And having Scotty Bowman as your coach, he didn't-- whatever you needed to do to prepare, to be ready to be the best player you can be. So travel, you know it, Neil, and different things like that. You got to learn how to adjust yourself to your sleep habits, or eating habits, and stuff like this. And when you do that and when everybody does that, and everybody's on the same page, then you can be successful. But it's got to be a tough playoff hockey. One of the Stanley Cups, the hardest thing, and just getting there is another one. Do-boy Steve, I'll start following the wings when I don't have to pay ballys to watch them. Well, do-boy Steve, no matter-- You're not going to be following the wings up. Yeah, like, it's going to be a while. So you didn't watch the Tigers either through this run?
