Introducing episode 1 of Bring Your Own Blockbuster, the podcast that takes you on a trip down memory lane with your hosts, Ben Haines and Jack Hussey.

To kick things off we’re starting with a 90’s classic: Mrs Doubfire. Where to begin with a film as iconic as this? Every week we’ll break films down in depth from top to bottom, but with Ben and Jack both being kids who grew up in the 90’s they share why this one occupies a special place for both of them.

And of course how can we get stuck into Mrs Doubtfire without talking fondly about the genius that is Robin Williams? We discuss his unique talent and what he brought to the film, whilst also looking at whether his character Daniel was in fact the films ‘bad guy’.

We’ll ask the ultimate question: How has the film aged, how does the film still move us all now in 2023 and how has that changed from its release in the 90’s.
