Milton cut through Florida, leaving a path of destruction and at least 12 people dead. These Floridians wrote out the storm. Guys, house is like gone. Whole house is ripped off like and it it it's sad. It's such a loud bang, a loud noise. Never seeing anything like this. Milton made landfall last night as a powerful category three hurricane just south of Sarasota, on Florida's west coast. Governor Ron DeSantis says Milton was significant, but it wasn't the worst case scenario that forecasters feared. At least 19 tornadoes spawned by Milton touched down even before it made landfall. Millions are still without power. Tampa International Airport announced it will reopen tomorrow. It remains closed today due to Milton, but will open its doors to travelers tomorrow at 8 a.m. Southwest Florida International and Orlando Airport will also open tomorrow.
