Milton remains a hurricane after slamming into Florida last night as a powerful Category 3 storm. Florida Senator Rick Scott on deaths in his region. They say there are several deaths in the retirement community. Now we'll get a better assessment today, exactly what happened. It brought life threatening storm surge, heavy winds and rain to the state's west coast. The storms left over 3 million customers without power after coming ashore. It's yes to key. That's a barrier island just south of Sarasota since been downgraded to a Category 1 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of up to 85 miles per hour.
