Milton's been downgraded now to a category one storm, but it continues to bring devastating rain and wind to parts of Florida. Maximum sustained winds now in the category one range, 90 miles per hour, still moving east northeast at the 16 miles per hour. Best meteorologist Jeff Eno, who expects Milton to head into the Atlantic Ocean between seven and eight in the morning. The storm has left nearly 2 and 1/2 million people without power. After coming ashore earlier at Ciesta Key, a barrier island just south of Sarasota. After making landfall as a category three hurricane, Milton's winds ripped open the roof of the Tropicana Dome where Major League Baseball's Tampa Bay Rays play. Multiple deaths have been reported in Florida as a result of the storm, but an exact toll isn't expected to be known for some time. This has been a special report. I'm Tammy Trujillo, NBC News Radio.
