I'm going to show you my favorite way to make money selling Halloween-inspired costume t-shirts. Now, I know first-hand that this works because, well, I did it last year. And it worked better than I expected. Now, it is very beginner to intermediate-friendly. That's my favorite part about this. It's not heavily reliant on a bunch of tools. We're going to just cover the basics. Now, it's not required to use chat GPT, but I'm going to be using that as well just to speed it up. So I hope you like what you see. Let's get to it. So to get started, we're going to do just a little bit of niche research. I want to show you the inspiration for these shirts and show you why they work. Okay? So we're here in Podly. This is just kind of my go-to. It's an easy way to query Amazon for Prananda Man products. So I'm going to type into the search bar, pretend I'm A. Now, I don't know how long you've been selling t-shirts, but if you've ever made it through a Halloween season, you've probably seen the pretend I'm A t-shirts. You know that they are quite popular around Halloween, but also they sell pretty well year-round, surprisingly. And like I said, I know this well because I did it, right? So what do you notice? Pretend I'm a duck. Now, do you see a graphic of a duck? No, it's just text. Pretend I'm a scary ghost. Pretend I'm a rock star. Pretend I'm a bug. Pretend I'm a giraffe. Flamingo. Deer. Hades. Princess. Tree. Sheep. Bee. Duck. Cowboy. Tree. Bear. Ninja. You guys get the gist. By the way, that one says blue crayon. I would stay away from anything related to crayons. I'm pretty sure those get rejected, but I don't know 100%. Anyways, this was meant to just show you guys why this is actually viable. I figured I'd show you at the front of the video, so you don't think I'm wasting your time. These sell extremely well during Halloween, but they make sales year-round. Don't know why. All right, if you know why, let me know in the comments. I don't really care why, as long as I see the sales come through and that money hit my bank account, right? So, all we really need, because it's text-based, right? We don't need to be good designers. Remember how I said this beginner-friendly? I mean, how much easier does it get than this? We need lists of things that are this color. For instance, the number one bestseller says pretend I'm a duck, and it's on a yellow shirt. Now, I bet you anything. If we go to Amazon and check out this listing, well, what do you know? The color is pre-determined, okay? It says color lemon yellow. We can't change the color. It's only available in one color. That's kind of the approach that I was thinking we should take, right? It says pretend I'm a duck, and it's purple. You know what I mean? It might not make sense, but yellow. Yeah, I can see it. So, why don't we go to chat GPT? And this part is not required, but if you're on chat GPT, why not? Just use it. It's going to save you some time. So, we're going to go to message chat GPT. I'm going to say write me a list of objects or things that are yellow in color, comma, preferably only one word in length, okay? Because if it gets too long, it might create issues. It's not a requirement, but you guys see how easy that was, by the way, chat GPT? You know, who bothers using their brain anymore? Just outsource all your thinking to chat GPT. Sunflower, banana, lemon, corn, mustard, daffodil, pineapple, gold, yolk. By the way, the word gold from experience, if you're uploading these to Amazon merch, they're going to create some issues. I was thinking we go to printful, though, because they have so many integrations, and we could push these theoretically to all major e-commerce platforms. Let's continue. They have butter, honey, cheese, taxi, sun, canary, duckling. So, we would probably say duck instead of duckling. You know, use your discretion. Squash, merry gold, amber, and bumblebee. So, there's 20 things that are yellow that we can start with right away. Now, like I said, we're going to jump on over to printful, and let me show you how easily we can publish these. First, I just wanted to show you that printful connects to Shopify, right? If you wanted to launch a Shopify store just for Halloween, easy. Etsy. A lot of these, like, you know, Shopify equivalents, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Square, et cetera. But I like, you know, Etsy, Walmart, Amazon, of course, eBay. Those are honestly like my big four. They used to have other integrations. Some of them come and go, but it's worth leveraging. Of course, TikTok Shop, don't forget that. It is worth leveraging as many of these relevant stores as you possibly can with printfuls integrations, because then if you leverage the product templates over here, you can create the product once, and then click Add to Store, and then you can select all your integrations. And it's very simple and very efficient workflow. So, let's move on over to the design aspect. I pulled up some of my favorite T-shirts to publish to from Printful's catalog. The Bella Canvas 3001 is one of the most popular options. It starts at $11.50, but you can get a discounted rate with Printful Growth or Printful Business, which is what I have on my main account. Now, if you're looking for a budget option, because a lot of these shirts are probably going to be throwaway shirts for the people that buy them, you know what I mean? They're just quick, fun, you know, costume-inspired designs, like the ones you see behind me. I would probably recommend considering the Gilden 5000, okay? It is a true unisex shirt. I like the Bella Canvas 3000 more, 30001 more for myself, but it's going to cut into our profit margins, whereas if we sell the Gilden 5000, you know, it's significantly less expensive. So, for the sake of Halloween especially, because I could, I think it's fair to say that like a Halloween shirt is not as likely to be like a staple in someone's wardrobe. It's probably like they'll wear it once a year, right? So, the Gilden 5000 base costs $9.25. You sell that for $19.99. You know, you got a really nice healthy profit margin, and people will pay 20 bucks for a T-shirt without thinking twice. I did want to give a shout out to the comfort colors, 17, 17. I actually just recently made one of those shirts for myself. I really enjoy the comfort colors. I've reviewed them before. It's just a thick premium quality to that shirt. So, if you're ever looking for something for yourself, or like a premium, you know, fit and look, I would say the comfort color, 17, 17. But for the purpose of this video, let's go with the Gilden 5000. So, I'm going to go ahead and click this, and you can see all the different colors here behind me, ranging from maroon to black, navy, purple, red, dark chocolate, cardinal, royal, et cetera, right? There's plenty of colors. Use these colors that are available as your inspiration for what you ask chat GPT to generate for your ideas. For instance, we said write me a list of objects or things that are yellow. So, why don't we do it again for orange, okay? Just as a quick example, because there is an orange shirt over here, right? They got the orange Gilden 5000. What you don't want to do is have chat GPT writing you lists of things that are specific colors that you don't have accessible with the Gilden 5000, right? If you're going to use this shirt. So, pumpkin, carrot, tangerine, cantaloupe, fox, salmon, amber, tiger, cumquat, et cetera, et cetera, okay? So, what we can do then is, why don't we just go do the pumpkin, or we'll do the orange shirt, we'll start with pumpkin, I think that was the first one. I'm going to hit create product template. This is the optimal way of using Printful, because you create the product once, and then you can publish to all of your stores. And this has been one of my mantras since day one, but the more online real estate that you occupy, the more money you're going to make, okay? I mean, who's going to argue against that, right? So, that means don't just sell on Etsy, sell on Amazon and Etsy, and eBay and Walmart, right? Because why not? Anyways, we have our orange shirt here. Now, I said this is beginner-friendly. Watch how easily we design this shirt. I'm going to go on the left-hand side to the Printful's text tool, and you can actually just use text as we saw, right? It's not just me saying it. You know, don't just trust me because I'm a talking head on a screen. We're looking at the best sellers on Amazon right now for the pretend I'm a niche, okay? They're text-based. So, I'm going to say pretend, go to a new line, I'm a, okay? And what we say, pumpkin. So, a really nice, easy shirt here. Change the text color to white. I'm honestly going to change the font. I didn't really have one pre-selected, so let's just kind of use our discretion here. I don't think this looks bad at all. It's easy to read. It's kind of tall. It's bold. I would say just focus on big, bold-ish letters that are easy to read. They need to know at a glance what it is we're selling. This font right here is called Oxchar Medium, and I like it. I didn't pre-plan this. I really like this font, though. I know I'm just raving about a pretty standard font, but again, this checks all the boxes for me. I think this shirt could sell. No joke. That's really it. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that, guys. I don't know what else to do. Pretend I'm a pumpkin. That's done, right? So we would then, I'm kind of hiding it right here, so if I move myself, you can see on the right-hand side, it says Save to Templates. Actually, no, I can't forget. Above that, there's a little mug, a cell phone case icon, plus icon. Click that. We are going to also add this to another product, and I selected a sweatshirt. This specific one is the Unisex Organic Raglin sweatshirt. I selected it because it has an orange color available, and we do, in this case, remember need to match the color, okay? Normally, I'd probably use the Guild in 18,000, but in this case, Printful doesn't offer the orange. Currently, for that product, it's typically got the healthiest profit margins, so this one's called the Organic Raglin sweatshirt from Seoul, you know, 03567K. I typically like to leave the design, like, really big, and, you know, just kind of standing out, easy to read. Now, it is Raglin, so if I move this design up, you'll notice that the text starts to get hidden, so definitely place the text in a way that's going to, you know, knock it cut off or anything like that. So boom, now we've got the t-shirt right here. We have got the sweatshirt, and we can publish multiple products, you know, as they're relevant, you know, use your discretion, all in one screen, in one workflow, and then when it's saved to templates, don't forget that we can then push to all of our stores by simply clicking the Add to Store button, all right? It doesn't get much easier than that, guys. Don't over-complicate this. It is right around the corner, the number of Halloween costume-inspired shirts that are going to sell is like unfathomable. So go get your piece of the pie. You can outsource your thinking and your planning to chat GPT as I showed you, and you can use the text tool in Printful for the design. So really, like, what's stopping us from going and making, like, a hundred products in the next week?
