You're here, thank you for watching. At home, I appreciate it. Well guys, Halloween is only a few weeks away. And I saw that Google just revealed their official list of this year's most popular costumes. Yep, this year the most popular costume is Beetlejuice. And the most popular couples costume is still Annoying. >> [LAUGH] >> I'm Guacaboli, and yeah, I am. >> [LAUGH] >> Everybody wants to wear the trendiest costume so get ready to see a lot of sexy mood dangs this year. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Some election news CNN just gave the Trump campaign a hard deadline of noon tomorrow to agree to another debate with Vice President Harris. You'll know CNN's desperate one tomorrow, they're like, okay, 1230. >> [LAUGH] >> All right, 1 PM, okay, no later than 5 PM on Monday, unless 6 is better for you, but you let us know. CNN was like, God, I hope he says yes, without the debate we got to make another documentary about the 90s. >> [LAUGH] >> Family matters wasn't all, he did do that. >> [LAUGH] >> Yeah, I don't think Trump wants to do it, CNN suggested October 23rd then Trump suggested October the 50th, and that doesn't make any. Meanwhile today, Trump complained that CBS edited Kamala Harris' interview on 60 Minutes to make her look better. Trump said it was clearly edited, she didn't say one thing about people eating pets in Ohio, but now one, didn't even mention it, and did he say it? >> [APPLAUSE] >> Trump claimed it was editing, but Harris said it's just part of her amazing campaign strategy, not being 80. >> [LAUGH] >> [APPLAUSE] >> And listen to this, it really come when Harris has raised $1 billion in less than three months as a candidate. Harris raised $1 billion yet now you're allowed to at text her for donations, that's true. Speaking of Harris, a new poll shows that she's recently taken the lead over Trump among America's oldest voters. Yeah, apparently that $1 billion were all quarters found behind her ear. >> [LAUGH] >> Some more election news today, VP candidates Tim Walls and JD Vance were both campaigning in Arizona. Of course, last time they were in the same place was the debate, where the surprise voters with how well they got along, and they both had something to say about being in the same place again, Walls said, I don't care where Vance is because I'm too focused, but out of curiosity did he say anything of them? >> [LAUGH] >> Then Vance said, who cares if Walls is here? I sure don't, it's not like it made a reservation for two with the Cheesecake Factory. >> [LAUGH] >> And Walls said it doesn't matter if he's a Cheesecake Factory on Camelback Road or the one on Channel Road because I'm too busy. And Vance said, nothing would enrage me more than if he showed up at the Camelback Road location at 7 p.m. and dined with me like we're friends or something. Then Walls said as a total joke, I might order an Uber right now and head straight there. And finally Walls and Vance said together, for good times and bad times I'll be on your side forever more, that's what friends are for. Amazing. >> Camelback, while switching gears, the guys apparently Uber is now offering shuttle rides from Manhattan to LaGuardia Airport for $18. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Huge news, yeah, that's right. Uber has finally invented the bus. >> [LAUGH] >> Hey, everyone, this is fun, the Major League Baseball playoffs are in full swing and New Yorkers are fired up because the Yankees and Nets are both in it. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Yes, and the players are really excited, check out what they've been saying. First, Yankees pitcher Tim Hill said, it's been 15 years since the Yankees won a World Series, and I think this is the year we could finally get over that, well, my last name. >> [LAUGH] >> And Mets pitcher Danny Young said, we're all pumped about the playoffs, but we're keeping our cool. I mean, the night is still well, my last name. >> [LAUGH] >> And Yankees pitcher Jake Cousin said, the thought of losing makes my stomach turn. It'd be like kissing one of my, well, my last name. >> [LAUGH] >> And Mets outfielder Tyrone Taylor said, nothing beats playing in New York. The stadiums are so packed, you'd think you were at a concert for, well, my last name. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Then, then Mets pitcher Kodai Senga said, OMG, she's my favorite, well, my last name. >> [LAUGH] >> Then Yankees infielder John Birdie said, I just hope nobody throws a 100 mile per hour pitch so it hits a cute little well, my last name. >> [LAUGH] >> Then Mets pitcher Adam Adavino said, all I know is that if the New York team wins, the whole city will drink so much wine will be totally, well, my last name. >> [APPLAUSE] >> And finally, Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge said New Yorkers are in such a good mood right now, they're gonna shock on a six-pack, street through Times Square, jump in at pedicad, we'll see Empire State of Mind, then wake up two days later inside the Satcher Liberty said, but who am I to, well, my last name? >> [APPLAUSE] >> How do you guys see this, more than 129,000 ram trucks are being recalled due to faulty turn signals. >> [INAUDIBLE] >> Meanwhile, Ki is like, whoa, whoa, whoa, your cars turn. >> [LAUGH] >> Get this guy's limp biscuit is suing universal for $200 million in unpaid royalties. >> Yeah, sounds pretty serious, but if limp biscuit is mad about the way people are using their music, I don't think they're gonna be happy with this new Bob Dylan biopic starring Timothy Chalamet. >> What? >> Take a look at this trailer. >> He dropped in on us out of nowhere and he played us a song. [MUSIC] >> We were getting a glimpse of the future. [MUSIC] >> Help, I did it all for the nugget, all the nugget. You can take the cookie and stick it up your yeah, stick it up your yeah. [MUSIC] >> The Nookie. >> What? >> [LAUGH] >> Wow, wow. >> I didn't know it covered the ice, Bob. >> Yeah, Bob Dylan wrote Nookie. >> Absolutely. >> Well, finally, you guys a traffic camera in Germany caught a photo of someone speeding while wearing a cookie monster costume. >> [LAUGH] >> Today he pleaded me not guilty, we have a great show. Keep it up for the roots everybody. >> [APPLAUSE] [MUSIC] >> I got them very excited. Today I got something, roots you'll know what I'm talking about here. But I have a holiday album coming out. I've been working on for a couple years. The roots are on it. Well, I'm gonna talk about all everyone who's on it in the album tomorrow on Drew Barrymore show. I'm gonna go on Drew tomorrow morning. So check out Drew Barrymore tomorrow. I'm also going on Andy Cohen's Watch what Happens Sunday night. I'm doing a lot of press because this is a big deal for me. >> Whoa. >> This is a big deal to get a holly album. >> [APPLAUSE] >> So like early, you gotta get it out early. You gotta get it out early because Mariah comes in. >> Yeah, then it's over. >> Yeah, it's not even done. >> No one even knows you put anything out. Yeah, she's the queen and she deserves it. But today I got what they're called the Test Pressing. >> Yep. >> Do you know that? >> My favorite part of the record process. >> It is unbelievably emotional because you work so hard on this album and it's silly. It's all comedy songs. I wrote like 20 different songs, all dumb songs. But good duets and they're fun. It's a very holiday vibe and this coming out in vinyl and special Candy Cane vinyl and all this cool stuff. >> I know, I'm so excited to tell you all about it, but I'll do it, we have time. But today I got the Test Pressing, this is what comes in the mail. And it's just this. [MUSIC] So this is the first time anyone seeing my album ever on television. This is it. >> [APPLAUSE] >> So if you have a high definition television set, maybe you could read the grooves. You could read all the grooves and download illegally the songs right now. >> [LAUGH] >> But it was so fun and I put it on a turntable and it's all just plain. And I don't know why, what am I supposed to do with this? >> You get to experience it first before the world gets to live. >> Okay. >> I know if there's a glitch or a mistake, you can fix it. >> Can I though? >> [LAUGH] >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, wait, what am I supposed to give notes? I think I should be louder on that, they're not going to change it. I'm just so excited, it's a big deal. It's so fun, I always want to make a Christmas album. And it's coming out and more details as you're going on. But I'm very, very excited about this. What a talented show we have where you say everyone on our show tonight I think is the future of whatever they're doing. I think they're the most talented human beings on our show this evening. First up, he's a 13, I'm not introducing him yet. >> No, but I'm just saying he's on the show tonight. >> He's on the show. >> He's a 13, no, he's not coming out. >> He's not coming out. >> Not yet, eventually he will, but not won't do a bit, then he'll come here. But he's a 13 time Grammy winner in the subject of a new animated documentary, piece by piece. Did you see the trailer for this thing? >> Yes. >> It's a documentary, Morgan Neville's director who's an amazing documentarian. And it's animated, it's a Lego movie basically, about Pharrell Williams' life. It's so different and so Pharrell, Pharrell Williams is here tonight. It's great. >> [APPLAUSE] >> No, he's not here. He's coming later. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Plus, I think I first got introduced to her, I think Questlove you saw bottoms. >> Yeah. >> And told me to watch it. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Yeah, she's unbelievable great comedy, and what a genius comedy mind. She also stars in the new movie Saturday Night, which is in select theaters now, and opens everywhere this Friday. Rachel Sennett is joining us. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Then, he is a ten time Grammy winner, whose new album for crying out loud is out now. Phineas is here, and an Oscar winner too. >> Yeah, I love Phineas. >> We'll be talking to him days before me later in the show. Stick around, we come back back with Pharrell Williams. >> [APPLAUSE] [MUSIC] >> Our first guest has won 13 Grammys and has been nominated for two Oscars, he's the subject of the new animated documentary, Peace by Peace. Which is in theaters Friday, everyone please welcome Pharrell Williams. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Very love you, we love you, that feels good, right? >> Welcome back to the show, pal, I'm so happy to do our show. Thank you so much, you always look stylish as always. You're doing a new documentary, and it's an animated documentary. It's not just animated, this is your story in Lego. >> Yes, sir. >> I have a picture of you being interviewed in the film. >> [LAUGH] >> When did you go from let's make a documentary to let's make a Lego documentary? >> In the very beginning, my agent was being very persistent. He kept asking, this was like five, six, seven years ago. When all the A-list artists were doing like documentaries, and I didn't want anything to do with it, one, because as a creative I really, I pride myself on projects where I'm actually curious, and I can learn something and that's where my inspiration comes from. But as you well know, if someone were to ask you would you want to do one, you'd be like no, because it's like, you look in the mirror, you know what you did two minutes ago, you know what you did two weeks ago, you know what you did two months ago, two years ago, and that's not interesting to you. >> You live in the now, you live in the future, you live in what we're creating now. >> Right, so I'm like, no, why would I want to do that? And besides, just to ask you guys a question, do you like hearing your voice on a voicemail? >> [LAUGH] >> You don't like it, right? >> [LAUGH] >> So how about an hour of that? >> [LAUGH] >> Right, you know, but you sound cool, yeah. >> Right, so it's like, no, the answer is no way. >> Yeah. >> But then he said something that kind of unlocked everything for me. He said, you can do it whatever way you want, and I was like, whatever way I want? He's like, yeah. And then so we started talking about like a very masterful storyteller, a documentarian by the name of Morgan Neville, who did 20 feet from start. I mean, you guys know that one. >> He's brilliant, and I said to the Mr. Rogers. >> He crushed that one. So I'm like- >> My neighbor, it was a fantastic one. >> Amazing, so I'm like, okay, that guy I would give autonomy to tell my story. >> Yeah. >> Music and all, but I want to do it in Lego. >> [LAUGH] >> And obviously, my agent was like- >> Yes, he was like, no! >> [LAUGH] >> No, we were almost there, I'm a little too late, quiet. >> But then he goes, you know what, bro, you're crazy, and that's why I love you. And now I'm just gonna go ask anyways. And then so he set up the meeting, and Morgan said yes, and then Focus said yes, and then Donna Langley over at Universal said yes. So this is a family project. This is here, I'm Brian Roberts, thank you brother. >> Yeah, exactly, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, everybody, yeah. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Yeah. >> Donna Langley. >> Yes. >> But I mean, look, all of the songs to her in it, there's a- I forgot you did "Rump Shaker," but "Rex and Effects." I always forget that you did that. >> I just wrote "Diverse" on it. >> I know, but still, get lucky, you do drop it like it's hot with Snoop Dogg. You do "Hell of Good," no doubt, here's you and Gwen Stefani as Legos. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Here's you and Daph Punk. >> [APPLAUSE] >> But everybody's in this, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar. >> Yes, sir. >> Timberlake. >> Yes, sir. >> When they get interviewed for the documentary, here's why I loved it. Did they know that they were going to be in a Lego documentary? >> No, just an animated dot, because- >> I felt that. >> Because we felt like if you tell them it's an animated dot, then they'll just go, okay, cool, right, no problem, we'll do this. But if you tell them it's gonna be Lego, then they start sifting through the stories of which ones they're gonna tell because- >> They're pretty cool. >> Well, no, posture has to be like this. >> [LAUGH] >> I was surprised when he played me that time. >> Yeah, I couldn't believe he did that. >> You don't have to act like a Lego. >> So yeah, so we were trying to avoid all of that. >> Yeah, the movie is not so much a look back on your life, but more is the creative process of what you do and how you come up with these ideas and games and this thing. What do you want people to take away from your story? >> Couple things. Number one, it's never too late to think about what something in your life that brings you joy, something that you do, a hobby or whatever it is. Whatever that dream is, literally build it piece by piece pun intended. >> Yeah, and- >> [APPLAUSE] >> Never too late. >> Never too late, and I mean whether you're eight or 80 years old, it's never too late. Actually, now is actually guys, now is a better word than never. Trust me, and- >> I like that. >> The other thing is like, you don't realize it. You guys don't realize it, but you're being held captive in your mind by your fears, your flaws, your insecurities, the pressures of life. You gotta let those things go and be free. And honestly, when you see this film, this is what happens in here. You see that I get to a place where I was being held captive by insecurity. So I had a lot of hubris. But there's this transformation that happened where I go from having all this hubris to actually having humility and my life change. And that's why when you guys see me saying, thank you so much because I'm so grateful. You know, an artist will say, I sold a million records, and it feels like that at first. But no, you didn't, what happened was, you did a song and a million people decided to buy or stream that song. And once you realize that, then you realize that you didn't write the book. You're just lucky to be a comma in a sentence in the existence of everything that's going on. And, you know, I'm 51 and it shouldn't take you that long. You guys, if you're eight years old, man, like start right now. Just start. Don't, like, you don't have to, it doesn't have to be hubris, humility and gratitude and empathy and appreciation because we're living in a crazy time. As you guys know, like there's a lot of divisiveness out there in the world. Yeah, and for us, it's like remembering that we're different and that's what makes us special and like, enjoy life, man. Enjoy life, enjoy it. That's exactly what it makes it. Yeah. It's so good. You're the best. I cannot believe you're here right now. Right. I can't believe that you're looking at this like I'm losing my mind. It's crazy, right? Yes, sir. What you've made. But I also, I just want to say before you go. All right. Thanks again and please come back. I know you are coming back in November, right, too? Yes, sir. I would love any time you want to come back. It's going to be fun. But before we go, you've done something very cool for everyone in the audience. That's right. Focus features. This is providing a pair of tickets to everyone in the audience to see. Peace by peace. Her to see. Oh, and to see. Ditters. For Row Williams, everybody. Peace by peace. For beers. Indeed is this Friday. More tonight's your answer to the break. Give it up. [Applause] Our next guest is a talented actress who you know from bodies, bodies, bodies, and bottoms. She stars in the new movie Saturday night, which is in select theaters now and opens everywhere this Friday. Everyone, please welcome Rachel. Rachel. Senate. [Applause] [Applause] Rachel. Senate. I'm a big fan of yours. I'm so happy. Thank you so much for coming on the show. Thank you for having me. I'm so excited to be here. You were telling me that you just came back from a trip. Yes. I was just wondering if you could explain to everyone what happened to you. Totally. Oh, my God. Arrested. Okay. All right. I got so well-rested, back from the trip, arrested. I was arrested for CBD in the Cayman Islands, which is embarrassing. It's actually sad. You want to be arrested for something cool. You want to be arrested for protesting, shoplifting, something awesome. To be arrested for CBD is like this is a little pathetic. Sad, yeah. Yeah. And it was totally my fault too. Basically, what happened is I didn't look into the international travel laws. You got to do that. I'm giving you guys a heads up. So, I don't really look anything up. I arrive in the airport. I'm wearing a t-shirt that says NYU. Huge mistake. Yeah. Just massive. Yeah. She's young. She's trouble. No, she's screwed. She has weed. They flag me immediately. They're like, "Search her bag." They search my bag like... You're nervous at all. You're like, "No." Obviously, I'm having a panic attack. I'm freaking out. But you don't have anything. Well, I don't think I have anything, but I'm a big bring a lot of purses person, because you never know you're like, "I need a clutch, then I need a big bag, then I need a medium bag." So, I'm packing like a bag and a bag and a bag. Okay, yeah. So, you got 50 bags on a bag. I got a lot of bags in the bag. So, I think I'm okay first. She's going to the bag. She's like opening my tampon. She's like reading my journal. She's not reading your journal. She literally read my journal. She's like, "Wow, you're really depressed. Yikes." Yikes. Yikes. So, then she goes into a bag inside of a bag and she finds my mom grass. Mom grass for anyone with a life who doesn't know, it's like liquid death of weed. Like it's fake weed. It's CBD, basically. Okay. But it's made to look like weed. Okay. Yeah. And she's like, "This is weed. You're under arrest." Like, "Where did you get this?" I'm like, "Air one." I literally got it on an air one. I was like, "This is okay." So, then they arrest me. They arrest me. They take my phone and my passport. Before I handed my phone really quickly, I text my lawyers. No context. I'm in jail. That's it. Nothing else. Then I turn my phone off. I hand it to them. So, my entertainment lawyers also, it's like- Yeah. They're not like a criminal. They're dumb. You don't have criminal lawyers on speed dial. You're like, "Yeah." Apparently now I need them. Yeah, okay. I'm so, it's like they're usually, they're like, "She needs a trailer." And I'm like, "I'm in jail." Yeah. So, basically, I text them that. I'm just sitting in jail because you're allowed to make a call but it has to be someone on the Cayman Islands. I'm traveling alone. I unfortunately have yet to make friends on the Cayman Islands. I'm looking to do that. And so, and my friend who's meeting me there is coming the next day. So, I'm like, "I'm just going to hang out in jail." And for like a little bit, "Wait till he comes," kind of ask him, "I can't make a decision on my own. I'm just sitting there." And well, I'm there. I'm sort of hanging out with the people who arrested me and honestly, super chill vibes. And they're asking me, they're sort of asking me, like, "What do you do?" I'm like, "I'm an actress." So, they start doing everyone's experiences. They start pulling up your work. So, they're pulling up clips from bottoms. They're like, "This isn't for us." I'm like, "Obviously, it's not for you. You're a Border Patrol officer. This is for teenage lesbians." Like, "What are you talking about?" And then, basically, also, I'm wondering, like, is anyone going to look for me? Do you know what I mean? Do you know what I mean? You're like, "Who's missing me right now?" Like, before I went on the trip, I'd go to my whole team. I'm like, "No one contacted me, okay." [ Laughter ] Of course. No one even tried. No one even tried. I need a little me time. I need a little me time. I literally, like, guys... You know, you're in prison. No. Literally. No one's worried. Shout out to my 23-year-old assistant. Claire! Literally, shout out Claire. Shout out Claire. [ Applause ] Claire. Yes. Claire thinks I've been kidnapped because I always reply to my text. So, Claire calls the embassy. She goes, "Rachel, Santa, it's been kidnapped." They go, "Who is that?" She's like... Have you ever seen bottoms? Yeah. She goes, "Not for us. It's been real. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah." It's the whole thing. And then she calls the hotel. She's like, "Rachel's missing. I don't know what's going on. Does she smoke weed?" She's like, "Obviously." And then they go, "She's probably been detained." So then Claire calls my entertainment lawyers, who, meanwhile, googling "Jails." Like, "Where ever jails?" And then she connects, that she tells them where I am. They call a lawyer who comes to the Cayman Islands, and we work out the situation. I got an adult caution, which... [ Laughter ] Oh, my God. You're a little dangerous. Yeah. It's like adult caution. Did you get a mug shot? I got a mug shot. I asked for it. I know. No, you don't have it. I asked for it. They wouldn't send it. Just imagine. I look incredible. [ Laughter ] I'm just looking so beautiful. You look really good-tough, yeah. Definitely no tears. No, of course not. Definitely not plain sweat. Yeah. Plain sweat. I think the best part of this is that your parents don't really know about this story, and they're here in the audience tonight. [ Laughter ] Where's Mom and Dad? Where's Mom? They're right there. Yeah. [ Laughter ] [ Cheers and applause ] You got to be very proud. They're so proud. They're so proud. She's very talented. Very talented. Oh, my gosh. You just want to surprise them on national television. Yeah, I was like, "Here they can't be mad." [ Laughter ] I'm going right from here to a car to the airport. Yeah. So it's like if they're angry, it's like, "Bye!" Yeah. We'll talk. Isn't it with you? Yeah, yeah. You'll talk to them afterwards. I'll talk to them afterwards. Yeah. Welcome to the show. Yeah. Let's talk about your new movie, though. It's based on the first 90 minutes before the first-ever Saturday Night Live, and it's so well done. [ Cheers and applause ] Congratulations. You were fantastic in it. Thank you. As Rosie Schuster, who I love Rosie Schuster, I've met her a couple times, but for those of you who don't know, Jason Wrightman, who directed it, did a fantastic job. Amazing, director. Every little detail to Saturday Live, I was watching, and I got to tell you, I got a little PTSD and a little bit of, like, whew, because it's tense. And you remember those moments of the show? I'm not all in one show, but spread out through my whole career. Yes, I remember when that happened, and there was no lighting, and the audio didn't work, and the thing, and that -- it's all that going on for this live show. But you nailed it. Did you get to meet people that you didn't know? Rosie, did you -- I got to talk to Rosie. Well, one, that means a lot because I was like, "I need the people who are on the show for, like, it to resonate." And honestly, you having PTSD is a good sign. All of my friends who are writers are like, "Yeah, I can't wait to see it." [ Laughter ] I was like, "Get in there!" But it's like the thrill of it, too, at the same time. It's like -- It's just exciting. Once you do it -- I mean, I only did the movie, but I was like -- it feels so exciting to be a part of. And then I got to meet Rosie, and I wasn't super familiar with her before reading the script, and now, of course, if someone doesn't know who Rosie is, I'm like, "You don't know Rosie?" Yay! Basically, I invented the whole show. [ Laughter ] But she's so -- she's so smart, funny, and, like, cool in the face of chaos, and, like, I talked to her, and I sort of went in from, like, my perspective, which is, like, like I said, having a panic tech, I was like, "Where are you freaking out? Where are you? Did you want to go home?" She was like, "No, like, you know, we knew it was a big dip." But she was so, like, calm and cool. I don't know how they were so calm, and Lauren Michaels is that way, too. Just calm. It's like, "Yeah, you can't really throw him." Yeah. You go, "Yeah, we did the lightings, we have no -- the actor won't do it." And he's like, "Yeah, we'll figure it out." You go there, you do that, and you go, "Wow, this guy should really run a show." Did he just run a show? Yeah, he really should. For 50 years? Yeah, for 50 years. Yeah, it would get -- that -- I could not do that job. Where it would be, like, someone would be, like, this actor doesn't want to do it. I would be, like, "Ow!" [ Laughter ] Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Mom, dad, mom, dad, get out of here. Just go. Just get out of the building. Oh, my gosh, you can't do it, I'm going to do it on vacation. Your daughter's fantastic in this. Rachel said it, "Everybody, Saturday night is in select theaters now, and everywhere is this Friday. Please come back whenever you want." Video joins us after the break. Stick around, everybody! [ Cheers and applause ] ♪♪ ♪♪ Our next guest is a ten-time Grammy-winning and two-time Oscar-winning artist whose new album "For Crying Out Loud" is out now. Please welcome Phineas, everybody! [ Cheers and applause ] ♪♪ So good to see you. Welcome back to the show. Thank you for coming on. I want to talk about the new album. Congrats on this. First, I want to go through some amazing things that have happened to you since you've been on. You won two more Grammys, including -- [ Cheers and applause ] Including "Song of the Year" for what was I made for. [ Laughter ] You produced it. Your sister, Billie Eilish, has laid us out and hit me hard this off, which has gone platinum. [ Cheers and applause ] And you won another Oscar, making you and Billie the two youngest two-time Oscar winners in history. Come on. [ Cheers and applause ] That's good to tell you. That's good to tell you. That's good to tell you that. Come on. And you've done music, you've done film, and now you're just a TV, by the way. You scored a big new Apple TV+ show, which I think comes out this Friday, "Disclaimer." Alfonso Cuaron. Alfonso Cuaron, yeah. [ Cheers and applause ] I love all of my Grammys. Oh, he's my jam. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Yeah. These are important pieces of my life. I love this man. How was it doing that Apple TV+ show? Oh, my God. It was like going to college for music. There were so many things that I learned over the process. And again, it's just in the long line of things that I never thought I'd get the opportunity to do. Yeah. And I don't know if you lived a life like this, but, like, I get an offer like that, and it really scares me, because I don't feel qualified. I don't feel like I know what I'm doing, but I also feel like I have to accept, you know? Yeah. I feel a little like I'm in Mission Impossible, where I'm like -- [ Laughter ] This might be fatal, but I will try this for -- I have to try this guy, like, never know until you try. Yeah. Which I think is the theme of tonight's episode. Right. That's true. I want to talk about your new album. You have a second album. This is a sophomore album for "Crying Out Loud." [ Cheers and applause ] Congratulations. Thank you so much. You're an incredible producer, and you said that when you work with Billy or any artist, your goal is to figure out how to inspire them in the room. How does it work when you're doing a solo album? Sure. So, inspire yourself? Yeah. In order to kind of inspire myself, I'm friends with all these amazing writers and producers, and I just asked a couple of them if they were around. This is right after I finished making Billy's album, and we all got in a room for, like, two weeks. Not as good as the roots would, but we jammed. We just got together and we jammed. Yeah. And I was super inspired. Everybody played amazing stuff, and that was kind of the genesis of the whole record. And two weeks? That's not that -- Two weeks? That took me three years to make my hot ale. [ Laughter ] Two weeks! How did you do this? It was really -- I was shocked that it happened so quickly. But I think sometimes you just get in a place where you just have a lot of ideas. I think I also hadn't made music under my own name in a couple of years. So, maybe I had kind of, like, a backlog, and then I just kind of opened the floodgates and made a bunch of stuff. And you're going on tour? We're going on tour. We're going -- [ Cheers and applause ] We're going all across the United States. You're up. Australia. I'm really excited I can't wait for that. Finius, that's fantastic, yeah. [ Cheers and applause ] I always love when you come on. I love your sense of humor as well as your talent, but I was talking to you about the album cover. And again, I love the album cover. It's simple, but it's good, but can you -- Yeah, sure. Yeah. Okay, so we took -- It's great. It's worth it. This is not pictured, except for her cute nose and her pretty lips is Claudia, my girlfriend. And we were doing a music video together for a song. The title song on this album is "For crying out loud" from the album "For crying out loud." And we were shooting the music video. And as you often do on a set, there was a photographer. This photographer Muriel was amazing. And she was taking photos, and we were shooting the music video on film, which has an amazing look, but is a little bit riskier and more complicated. And right before this photo was taken, the director had come to me and said, "Hey, the camera broke, and we lost all of the stuff we just shot for the last several hours, so we're going to have to shoot it all again." Look at this face. "Hey, guys, this is me thinking about, thinking about shooting the whole video twice." That's your general reaction. As you were getting news, you're saying, "For crying out, you gotta be kidding me." But I thought I was like, "Oh, you know, like, I just looked so sad in that photo." I was like, "Yeah, let's just use that." Congrats on the album. Always happy when you're here. Finneas, everybody, "For crying out loud" is available now. Stick around, everybody. My thanks to Farrah Williams, Rachel Senneth, Finneas, once again. And the roots right there from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Good night, everybody.
