Machines have already surpassed human intelligence in specific domains such as chess, but we still have the upper hand in terms of general knowledge. In the future, humankind will have to face ethical dilemmas and other challenges regarding our non-hominid friends. The most burning question of all: What happens when we create a non-organic mind rivalling or even surpassing ours?
