Latest Ruling on Act 10 Brings More Questions Than Answers

Last Wednesday, a Dane County Judge ruled certain provisions in Act 10 unconstitutional, more than a dozen years since former Governor Walker signed the union-busting bill into law. The ruling, from Dane County Judge Jacob Frost, came just before the long holiday weekend. And it represents a renewed effort from unions and liberal groups to undo restrictions on labor rights. The ruling is likely to head to the state Supreme Court with its new liberal majority. But there are multiple paths forward.
