Wisconsin’s statewide primary is next month - and voters will head to the polls to narrow down the number of candidates that will appear on the ballot in November. This is the first statewide election since Governor Evers signed Wisconsin’s new voting maps into law earlier this year. The primary for state Assembly District 48 is especially crowded; five Democrats are running to represent Sun Prairie and parts of Madison’s far east side and Dodge County.
