I'm tired of starting on a bad note, but anyways So I had a couple big losses this week So I had an 18 Teaser it was like an eight-point teaser I thought it was some easy money through like two units on it and Everything he I'm telling you seven legs all came down and it comes down to the gosh darn Jets of course and Aaron Rogers does what Aaron Rogers does He gets the ball with under two minutes left gets it into field goal range and what happens? Greg Zorline misses a field goal to win the game all you had to do was score 12 points You lost the game 10 to 9 the hell is happening in New York So what was one of your biggest loss? My biggest loss came on Monday night Even though like and let's stay crazy because I had plenty of losses to choose from this week But but my biggest loss came actually on my Monday night sand game parlay Hmm. I had Tyler Lockett 25 receiving yards Sam Laporta 25 receiving yards Jared golf one passing touchdown DK Metcalf 50 50 receiving yards all those hit the one leg that didn't was Jamere Gibbs 25 receiving yards every single one of them hit it was plus 619 and Jamere Gibbs actually had zero receiving yards like and he's usually and he's usually good for a few catches out the back Feel like you're I'm saying like and he just they didn't live it to him one time So yeah, it was tough But I guess it was kind of par for the course because it just it kind of capped off and all around awful betting weekend for me So it was it was a terrible weekend. I also had a bad loss on Monday night I had the David Montgomery touchdown. I had the Detroit money line. I had the I Had another prop I think it was like I'm on or something But I needed the Sam Laporta 60 receiving yards and can anybody guess how many he finished with does anybody know off the top 53 As we had a I had a couple bad beats really I mean that that Philly game was just I Don't even want to talk about race. They got boat race Don't even want to talk about that Philly money line and how that hurt me on that same game because That was stupid also just want to say that the only reason that the Gibbs Receiving yards didn't hit is because he's a easy dumpoff and Jared Goff was doing whatever the fuck he wanted on Sunday Monday on Monday. I'm sorry to be clear that that performance was insane and I don't know what happened to the Seahawks defense, but somebody needs to Amber alert You know Maybe they were chilling with Raymond rettington on the private jet or something because they were not they were not playing defense at all But what about the winners I actually didn't hit anything But what about a baby win? But I mean, it's barely worth mentioning I hit the Xavier worthy anytime touchdown live at plus 250 But it didn't recuperate anything. So okay, we'll take that. I bet that there would be no home runs scored in the Tigers Astros game The Royals Orioles game and as well as the Mets Brewers game I round roving it by twos And it hit um, yeah, so I'm up over 500 bucks on that on that one play Money bones. They called back my beauty on Robinson touchdown, which I needed But Aaron Rodgers, you know got just oh just over the over even though it was a He didn't get over until like the I he didn't get over that till the fourth quarter those conditions and met life sucked It was the very end of the game. So this is a new one. We're gonna call as it stands Really gonna let Ricky and so Take this one But yeah, they're basically gonna run down just a just a quarter of the season checking the temperature on on how the season's going right now So yeah Yeah, so so so as it stands is a segment that kind of grew from something that I've been doing in our group chat over the last few years Where every four or five weeks or so throughout the NFL season I do a check into the standings and kind of get a little lay of the landscape of like see what we're at see how teams are trending Which direction? So right now we're gonna start the AFC The first category only has one team And and they're because they're in a class all of their own I'll call them the first class flyers because they are in first place in The only always in first place and that is and that is the Kansas City Chiefs the only undefeated AFC team left They're at four and oh Nothing really too much to say about that about that. It's pretty much par for the course It's just the fact that the last couple years. We look at their offensive personnel We question it the receiver room doesn't look good and yet somehow they keep speaking out wins and like my homes is My homes is him him and Andy is is really the dynamic duo. So there's nothing really too much to say about there So we'll we'll transfer into the next section. There's three teams in here Um, I got a question about the Kansas City. Okay, go ahead. Go ahead Is there just do you think they stay in that tier with losing? Rashid right I mean Do you think I mean who's gonna be their number one is it is it gonna be me co or is it gonna be Xavier worth it? I think they still have me co-hard man. I Think they brought me co-hard man is still there. They brought him back last year and I think they kept him So I'm pretty sure that I think he I'm pretty sure he had a couple catches this week actually against a charter um, I think Honestly as crazy as it might sound with like the with the with the personnel you just named I think yeah, like why I mean we don't I mean I don't have any reason at this point He's he's doing it with whoever they have out there. So like until they start to slip Until they get until they show me a reason as to why they won't I guess like I mean it got a ride with him I mean like with I mean like when has betting against my homes really worked out in our favor The let I mean since he became this guy. So you know as a great question and that answer is never so What you got next? All right, so the next section there's three teams in this tier um I call it I'm Zim I call these the tender runny's because they could either be contenders or pre-tenders Depending on how these next few weeks go. Um, I got the Texans the Steelers and the Bills all sitting at three and one All off the pretty impressive start to the most part outside of Like like all of them have one really bad game That's the thing is that like like their one loss was a really bad game But the other three were pretty solid and fairly dominant like you know the Texans they get smoked By the Vikings, you know the Steelers had that ugly ugly game against the Colts this week And then the Bills like you know also got some moat by the Ravens On Sunday night, but other than that they've looked pretty dominant in their other three and as of right now They could they like but also with a lot of season left they could either they could be contenders or they could prove to be pre-tenders We'll just have to keep an eye on it to see where they trend Well, that's what I'm at with anybody anything interesting about those three. No, no about no, I'm shocked to even Here the Steelers being Considered for a contender spot, but I mean if they're defense can keep them there then I'm all to me They're being considered for a pretender spot, but I mean That's a matter perspective. I guess with this second so facts. That's what I was in late That's why I called the tender runny's cuz they could be either Either way like they could be contenders or they could be pretenders But like at this point we can't rule either way, but we can't count them out, but we can't necessarily We can't pencil them in either. Yeah, can't pencil many is clearly on his way to at least another 500 Like season like I mean he's a three a three and one start This is this is how other AFC North fans thought their first four game with games will go so All Oh, oh, okay. All right now. All right now relax Relax Okay, okay, so this next section. There's six teams in this next section all teams are two and two And I call this the mid-pack mafia because they're literally in the middle of the pack as of right now We got the Broncos Colts Chargers Raiders Jets and Ravens all sitting at two in two With the Ravens being the lowest and like and they're in order by current standing so Ravens are the 10th maybe the 10 seed right now, and they have see pretty rough, but also like I said, look They're two and two. They're literally right in the middle of the pack. They look two wins two losses could go either way It's interesting the team that I'm surprised to see the Broncos in here at two and two They've got two really unexpected, but but good wins like on there. Like it's a good win Okay, well actually take it back they have they have one One that game don't get me started again. So well, it's like okay look okay look before the season started If you had told me that the Broncos were gonna win that game it would have been considered a good win now That we've actually seen the Jeff who him saying how we've seen the Jets It might not be as good of a win, but also the Jets are in this tier. They're both they're also two and two and so like They're not out of it The surprising part of the main surprise for me though is the Ravens because that Raiders Well, it's the Ravens and the Raiders and and they're tied together is loss was heartbreaking But all but like that's the thing and like they're they're the two most interesting parts of this tier to me because they're They're tied together because the Ravens should not have lost that game They should be three in one and because of that That's why they're that's why they're behind the Raiders and the Jets and the standings technically because of the head to head But also the Raiders being two and two because of that win When they should be one in three. So it's it's a real fluke and then after what we saw the Ravens Just just due to the bills demolishing him on Sunday night. It makes that Raiders lost even more frustrating Because you know they that they should that they should be three and one But however, like you said still a lot of football left to be played and you can't rule any of these teams out Even though I would definitely rule the Raiders out. We just can't technically eliminate them now I would too especially at the news after the news that came out today, but we'll talk about that later We'll get that later. All right now. Okay, so now all right, so now one of the last parts of the AFC This is one that will probably probably be recurring. I'll call this These are the teams that are below the poverty line All these teams are one and three all these teams are one and three Here's our one and then whereas these these are the teams that are playing Food stamp football You could you could also call them You could also call them the section eight twas because Because I'm just saying I mean look the paper I mean look the Patriots Titans Browns Dolphins and Bengals all one in three Just really disappointing starts from all from all five of these teams now the Dolphins I'm gonna save my dolphins take cuz we're gonna get into them later. I'm gonna say you can do you consider? injuries During doing this because I'm I'm interested if Herbert was healthy and would they be? Also in the mid-pack are you just doing this by record? I'm doing it by record. Well, I mean it's a thing. Yeah, no, no I'm doing it by record and then I'm cut yeah, like I do it by record cuz like I said it's subject to change That's why we do this every it was a we're gonna do this every four four to five weeks You know saying and we're gonna check in this is where they are as of now not where they're going to be or who It might not be who they are this may not be who they are as teams. It's a lot of football have to be played So I'm trying to overreact. I just want to check right. That's what we call it as it stands Cuz it is as it currently stands now, but yeah, so these things are below the poverty line I mean Patriots and Titans we knew we're gonna be asked the Browns It was it all came down to how the offense and Deshawn Watson was gonna look and it has a look great It's all things like I said we'll get to but definitely disappointing for by most people standards not mine I called it, but and then the Bengals. That's just Well, well Yeah, it's disheartening. It's disheartening for the Bengals as a Cincinnati resident But you know those are just my mama told me if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything That's fair Um, except they will accept for when it comes to the Jags because they are in their own Category at the very bottom because they are the only winless team in the NFL. Yeah, buddy Yeah, so we just call this section one three three Cancun because they are Cuz they are prepping for vacation early I mean look Only one team in in the history of the NFL has made the playoffs starting 0 and 4 so we can We can pretty much go ahead and cross them off for now Yeah, they just can't seem to get out of their own way. I couldn't even tell you what 0 and 14 that would be It was I I looked it up earlier, but I don't have it on me But it's been it was like 20 plus years ago But that's the only one in the in the hundred plus years that the NFL has been around only one team It started 0 and 4 made the playoffs So that that should tell you everything you need to know about the about the Jaguars chances this season They should probably just pack it in Boy, all right. Well, all right hold on. I have an answer Funny funny enough Shout out to him. It was the San Diego Chargers in 1992 Oh shit. Wow. Look at that. 30 years 30 yes, it'll be 32 years this year and shout out the rail. So once again are another first class flyer and a class all of their own in the NFC is the Minnesota The the only undefeated team in the NFC sitting at a comfortable 4-0 and it's in the top the standings They've definitely been the surprise of the NFL this year so far Sam Sam Donald is playing elite, which I never thought I would ever say this but he's been Incredible statement to come out of anybody's mouth Correct, correct. And then so once we get past the Vikings We get into the NFC tender runny's that could either be contenders or pretenders You've got 10 Bay Buccaneers the Seattle Seahawks The Washington commanders and the Detroit Lions all that sitting at three and one The thing that stands out to me in this group is clearly the Washington commanders Just because they've been outside of the Vikings. They've been the biggest surprise This season in my eyes as far as teams go Jayne Daniels is looking like he's looking extremely comfortable and more and more as he's like he's figuring it out more and more every week It belongs. I mean he has the highest completion percentage of any quarterback to their first four No, he's like the third highest completion percentage for any like quarterback for the through their first four starts He's at 83 percent. I believe completion percentage, which is insane Mike And he's not just check down Charlie either. He's pushing it down the field. He's finally getting turned McCoy involved like Dan Quins has got the defense playing well, but like they're scheming up great offense for him And he's looking more and more comfortable out there. He's looking like that. I guess I mean the fact that he That the only question about him coming in was is he too small and they didn't like the fact that he's he's an He was an older quarterback coming in because he played what so many years of college ball But honestly, I think all those extra starts in college helped him out So yeah, no the commander is definitely definitely like Shout out to Jane Daniels shout out to us you And then all right. So next thing so now mid-pack mafia for the NFC Quite a few teams in this group We're looking at the Falcons the Bears the Niners the Eagles the Saints the Cowboys and the Packers all two in two Which is Interesting because like what these teams can definitely go either way. It's still super early So we don't know really how they're gonna trend. I know how the Cowboys are gonna trend Well, I mean, I still think I still think that the Cowboys found it be found a way to win double Did you wins and then they're gonna trick off the playoff game? Like they always do in the first row, you know how it goes too Absolutely, there's always the question is always when not if with the Cowboys like they could go 13 and 3 Right, but they're gonna lose in the first round. Absolutely. Absolutely the second At home way Right, I mean the most Like the most surprising team in this group is the Bears being two and two because I definitely had them at one and three or worse through the first four But they did but they they squeaked out with which even though this is a very injured team I think it was a big win for them Taking care of the Rams that defense and the second half did what they had to do to seal Hey, the Bears defense is nice The Bears defense is loaded with playmakers all over and it's gonna keep them in games Which is exactly what they need because Caleb is looking every bit of a rookie and he's still trying to figure it out Yes, the defense is winning despite Caleb Absolutely It's crazy Yeah, and then our last group That is also below the poverty line in the NFC the Arizona Cardinals the Carolina Panthers the New York Jets and The Los Angeles Rams who are sitting at the very bottom of the NFC standings Which if you had told me that that's where they would be after the first four weeks I would have been I would be shocked. I would have been I'd have been surprised like I am now reading this I didn't I didn't trust I didn't trust them. I didn't believe in them. Honestly How many more years do we think Sean McVay is gonna coach? There's been all these reports that he may be tired of this job in LA And I mean, but I'm that's derailing the conversation NFL coach in Los Angeles like One he's an NFL say in a he's an insane NFL coach because he remembers every split second of every game and it's crazy So maybe maybe that could be tiring. No, I mean, I mean, but also like I think that's for the contrary I think that's why he's not gonna give up coaching because he loves it and he comes from this he comes from a football family You know I'm saying like like comes from a football like this is his blood. It's his life and he's still so young you remember He's very young Right like when he became the head coach at Rams He was the youngest head coach in the league at the time But like like I said, I didn't I didn't believe in the Rams to begin with but they've been so beat up That I don't think they can overcome it either That's really just the the issue is the injuries like like like which you can't like account for or predict before the season starts So I was high on this team before the season started. I thought they were gonna be a playoff team And not saying if they they still won't be but it's uphill battle right now with all the injuries I agree to you rams are rams are playing for the the number one spot For sure The number one draft the number one draft eight Well lowered Yeah, well, I mean they haven't won a game yet, have they? No, they won one. They're one in three. Yeah, there's only one there's only one winless team and that team resides in Jacksonville correct Yes, the waxing bill jaguars All right, well my bad. I I tried to take us into the the next segment early Did we did we have any more teams was this was a no that that is as it stands right now through four weeks Uh, yes, that is that is as it stands currently Where now it's in the next time you'll see that is around mid-season which there's not even technically a mid-season anymore Well, like since we're like since since that's 18 weeks now. I think instead of every I think instead of four weeks So then we're gonna wait five. I'm away till after a week nine. We'll be right in the middle Okay, mid-way season. So fellas What has been the biggest standout through the past four weeks? So you want to take this one or you want me to take it first? Um, I'll go. I'll go. All right, so It's got to be I mean, there's really only one answer to this question. There's maybe I think there's a couple answers Okay, all right. Okay. Actually. All right. You know what? You know, uh, I know One of us is gonna it was gonna pick this and then there's one other one that I think is gonna be the one you pick But I'll I'll do it. Fuck it. It's got to be Sami D in the Minnesota Vikings It's got I mean like come on four and oh One of the last two unbeaten teams leading the NFC Sam darnold leading the NFL and touchdown passes with 11 on 60 on 69 Percent completion percentage and he's averaging nine yards per attempt. That's that's making almost I mean, that's basically a first down every time he lets it go So, I mean Like I said in an earlier segment. I never in my wildest dreams would ever thought I'd say that like Sam darnold at any point In his NFL career would be elite, but that's all you can say like the numbers prove it And then it's it's in what we see it passes the eye test so far Everything we see every week. He's dealing and he's not checked down charlie He's airing it out and he's been fairly accurate like and then when you have people like Justin jefferson And then now jordan adison is is is coming along like Aaron jones is doing well that offense is cranking in and brian floraz is Is looking like he's about to win coordinator of the year the way he's coaching up defense right now So It's got to be the Minnesota Vikings. I would have never thought that they would be four and oh at this point in the season Like that's what I'm at. I'm extremely impressed by what i've seen from them I I do agree that they are A big stand-out and sam darnold is being elite through four weeks But I think I had I knew somebody was going to pick that so I had to zag And I had to go to seattle seahawks And gino's oh, I like it. I like it. You know Because you did tell us you did tell us at the beginning of the season that you like the seahawks team And I was a little down on them. I really was but gino lee's the league in passing right now with 182 yards he does have four picks to his four touchdowns, but The defense actually isn't very good. Their offense is averaging 25 points a game and so that's just he's he's winning with the defense giving up points and so you have to score points to do that and I mean kenith walker was out a couple games So they had to win with zach sharp and a I just I'm impressed by mike mcdonald and The seattle seahawks team. I mean so let think about the seahawks defense is I don't believe that they're bad They're actually they have a lot of talent inside the ball. They're just extremely bad. I believe they're very average I believe they're I believe that they're banged up. I said like on the last part me and you picked The winner like like who would who would win the lion seahawks game And I'm like we both went with the lions and I said my reason for it was because one the lions are overdue for a full complete game And two the seahawks two three best defenders are all hurt right now I think if that unit gets healthy and they get some continuity on that side of the ball I believe that they can be at least leak average or best and with the way the offense is playing that makes him a playoff team Fair enough fair enough. I mean Listen, it's been a great season for the Vikings. Um, been a pretty good season for the seahawks as well Um, so interested to see what both of those teams do Uh, so we did have some breaking news a few hours ago in the league Uh divante atoms Uh, is requesting a trade or sorry. I mean he's not requesting a trade. I guess the break you did request a trade You did request a trade in the river question made Uh made it known to some teams that they're open to exploring a second round pick For the wide out. So, um who goes and makes the move for divante atoms rick we think I was gonna say I have to take this one first And i'm not gonna say Pittsburgh because I don't think they're gonna make them move. Oh, thank god You're not gonna like who I who I picked though. Um I think he misses a roger's and I think he's gonna go to him. I think he's gonna go to me And I mean that's really all that's really all I've got because what was what was the reason he went to he went to las vegas Anybody know A chick? Josh allen has been dealing even with even with like you know I'm saying with dudes like he on comin and and she cured as as his top target So like you add divante atoms to that like with the way allen's been playing like that could be dangerous Like that that could shift things in the air really good but let me But let me throw out a couple teams for you because I mean like just just I mean like just see how you feel because that's the one thing about trade Especially mid-season Especially for players like divante Teams like the like teams. Don't like to trade trade players this good mid-season Within their conference or the division so I'm gonna say another team just popped in my head So I wonder if they'd be on your list. Hold on. Oh, cuz I got three. What about what about these these NFC teams? Um, what about the commanders? That one popped in my head I mean because look look jane dale is also also a hot start. He's dealing sometimes teams think that oh Well, like what if they're thinking wait, maybe maybe we have a window Like maybe it's open sooner than we thought and like what if they get aggressive teams have been Teams have been known to do that. You put him on the other side of scary terry with the way Uh jane dales have been playing because I mean look interesting and I think they have the draft capital to do it Um, the Raiders came out and said that they're looking for a second round pick plus additional compensation for divante atom So just keep that in mind. Um, also what about the falcons? a team who once they got like They had high expectations like really like a lot of like good offensive weapons But still like could always be looking to add another piece Like the falcons like they were they were favorites to win their division Like they believe that they're a playoff team.
