So, you know, a recipe to all of those people that got hit unfortunately with that flood. And then, you know, we're in the DMV area. So we didn't really get hit that bad. One of our guests asked, what is the reasoning behind naming of the hurricanes, like Hurricane and Irene and all this stuff, where do they get the names from and why do they name the hurricanes? And can you just give it to us in like a short paragraph? Sure thing, hurricanes are named to help identify and communicate about storms efficiently and reduce confusion when multiple storms occur simultaneously. The names are chosen from pre-established lists created by the World Meteorological Organization at the UMO and are used in rotation every six years. These names can be male or female and are selected to be easy to remember. If a hurricane is particularly deadly or costly, its name is retired and replaced with a new one to ensure sensitivity and clarity and historical references. Back to you, Marnie and Carmen. Botswana, located in Southern Africa, is renowned for its stunning natural landscapes and abundant wildlife. Botswana is known for its stable democracy, relatively low levels of corruption, and thriving diamond industry. Um, but Botswana is not one of them. So, Botswana is located in the southern area of Africa. And, um, also, like she said, that's a ton of wildlife and nature, great for people who want to be outdoors. Okay. Yeah. Um, it's neighboring Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, um, and yeah. So, how about that? How about just bang? It's one of those sleeper ones, too. And then she also mentioned, too, is, is big on diamonds. That's like how... Oh, I heard her. Yeah. A girl's best friend. So, like, this is where they said they found the third largest diamond ever. They found in Botswana. And, um, that's how they got a lot of their wealth as well, too. What they look like? Right. Uh, we got to see. We got to see. And, uh, for them, this is an example of a country using its natural resources. Yeah. And also having a stable government as well, too. I have a southern part of Africa on multiple locations. Botswana was never on my mind as a place to visit until now. Before I even hear, I heard it's own to the largest south part of the world, which is unlike anything I've ever seen anywhere before. Since I attend this, I came up with a plan to spend a day each at different interesting parts of the country. I finally end up at the largest south part of the world. I had very immediate resources in order to make this trip as cheap as possible. So I said a budget of $1,000, which I was going to make sure not to go over. A thousand. I've been trained. I've been trained. And on our right, about the first night I noticed was how similar it was to other South Africa and capitals. In Namibia and kicked out in South Africa. They were just trying to have a feeling of comments and everybody took their time to go about their daily activities. The first place I stayed was on Airbnb, Apartments, owned by a very amazing Botswana woman. Who was the two people in the apartment who was 90 dollars for night. This is one of the best places you can get to go coming to Botswana. I'm sure you guys will. It looks like... How much is it? Is it $3.70 a night? Oh. Okay. That's for seven nights. Okay. And they're like so small, like you really can't tell with the dead, but. Yeah, they're not like giant snakes, but they had the most venom out of any other snake. You get bitten by that you're dead. Nine out of ten, like both poison and snakes actually live in Australia. But you know, this one particular one says, I like Africa. I don't know if I go around and find out. It's a black mamba. It's been 26 years since Botswana gained its independence in 28 years since the Southern African nation established it differently. Botswana has come a long way since its independence. And as we've gained international education as a peaceful and increasingly prosperous democratic states, the economy has grown rapidly since the mid-1960s. And its gross domestic product per capita has increased more than 100 foot. One of the most impressive things about Botswana's growth has been its discovery of diamonds. They can tell you the secret behind it. That's quite a lot of this. Diamonds have you had all of this. Well, I had to say that I'm a product of the Botswana Diamonds. When I was born in the government hospital, I went to a government school. I was funded to go to university by the government, and I worked for the government. People here have given free tuition from primary school, secondary school and secondary school. If the course that you want to study isn't offered in the country, they're actually sponsoring people outside. They actually give you an allowance every single month that you're getting paid to go to school. You all care more about your education system than America? That's not a surprise. Like you said, that was a standard. Man, I'm just saying. Some of these people, they just don't know. You know what I mean? That's absolutely amazing. Like, this is an example of a country who just got it right from the start. As soon as they got their independence, it looks like they just had no corruption. I mean, they use the resource that they have naturally, and instead of, you know... Who's running this country? Yeah, we need to look at that. Matter of fact, let's do it right now. Hey, FYI, who is the president or who is the leader of Botswana? What's their name and how long have they been in power? As of now, the president of Botswana is Maguizim Assisi. He has been in office since April 4, 2018. President Assisi succeeded Ian Kama and has been working towards various reforms in his tenure. Back to you, Imani and Carmen. Thank you. Shout out to you. And then shout out to their first president as well too. Their whole government is just a testament of what a country can look like if it's done right from the beginning. If greed is not involved. This was an expensive world at the right of it. This country is the one of the poorest and least developed states in the world, but it has managed to transform itself into one of the fastest world economies in the world, with most of its GDP coming in from exports of its diamonds. So, we were protected. We were protected. And that happened as a result of these three chiefs here negotiating for that. Oh, wow. Okay. I can't explain myself. So that, okay, that really is confusing to me. I thought that the only country in Africa that was not colonised was Ethiopia. FYI, can you confirm to me was Botswana ever colonised by a European country? Yes, Botswana was indeed colonised by a European country. It was a British protectorate known as Bejwana land from 1885 until it gained independence in 1966. It was called "Rizana Panz" and it covers an area of 30,000 kilometers. Guys, it's so freaking beautiful. I really like it because it's my whole body. Yeah, it's cold. It's so cold here, man. Someone asked us from Gambro to get here. This pan is surrounded by grasslands. And during Venice season, it gets through the water that looks like milk into the light, alkaline content of the soil. It's been knowing for a while, so where we arrived, it was fairly dry. It's a bit of a stone. How did you get here? There's a whole lot of that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was a stone! It's a very unique destination and looks like a great place to go camping. I console my travels and never seen anything like this anywhere in the world, and it was truly a sight to behold. After a long drive, I was on a spot right here where we came to have lunch, and it's this beautiful hotel here. It's really cool, you can see a lot of greenery. It has this kind of like African type of hitchhike, so I'm going to try and uncook it out and mix here for the first time. Guys, I got this pool. It looks really dope. Today has been very stressful. We do have seven hours, so this would be a good way to relax after coming out from the car. It's really cool. It's so nice, calm. I think it's very, very cool. It's called the Guillain note to Medici. Named after the Medici family, we told the powerful family that captured the ideals and principles of the Florence Renaissance. Guillain has eight luxury five-way junctures and patent. And so, over the last 10 houses in Lagos. It also has a three-car garage, a cinema and a general pool. We certainly are very on the video. Now, to this home, I have come to the realization after watching this video. Lagos is Nigeria's version or Africa's version of New York City. Yeah. It is very clear. This is the money city. It is a large, large, large population with very limited space. So the wealthy and extremely rich, you know, you're not going to get as much room and space, but you're going to get primary location to what you want and stuff. So like, this is very much the New York of Africa, I know, I know sometimes people say Nairobi is the New York of Africa. No. Lagos is New York City of Africa. It's very small, very expensive. It adds up, you know, I mean, especially this with the population wise as well to just all these factors kind of come into play is very interesting to see Nigeria's market when it just comes to like how expensive these homes are, especially like with echo Atlantic on the way as well to like Banana Island. This is like where everybody wants to be, but not everybody can get to. So like, if you can get a property on it, it's going to be extremely taxed out the wazoo. This home, I'm not going to lie. It did kind of impress me for the size that they were working with. It's they did a really good job with utilizing the space of this property compared to like the other home that we saw, I felt like the other home was a lot more cramped. This one seems a lot more open. Yeah, they didn't, they weren't scared to build it up. Exactly. They went tall. Like I believe there's four floors and, you know, very tall ceilings and like all the rooms, all the floors and stuff like that. So, which that also gives you incredible views as well too when you're at the infinity pool or when you're at the, you know, the penthouse as well too. Natural lighting. Yeah. And you can tell like a lot of windows, very tall windows as well too. So, you can get all that, I mean, I know I talk a lot, Karmi, you got any extra things that add to this home or anything that you think of? I think you really covered it.
