Mike Rowe on His Great New Film, 'Something to Stand For,' in Theaters June 27th
In today’s third hour, Dom continues the Dom Giordano Program by welcoming Mike Rowe back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his upcoming film Mike Rowe Presents: Something to Stand For, a theatrical release on June 27th that paints historical pictures of some of our forgotten heroes. Rowe takes us behind the scenes, revealing the influence that Paul Harvey’s storytelling had on the film, noting the mysteries that both Harvey and Rowe offer their audience in telling historical stories. Then, Rowe tells why he decided to make the film, noting a drop in patriotism nationwide, offering theories as to why this has happened and telling of the importance in togetherness in repairing our nation.
