Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by telling that Biden will be coming to Philadelphia today to speak at Girard College, pointing out the irony of Biden speaking at this school while continually fighting against school choice, which would further provide opportunities to students in impoverished communities. Then, Dom offers an update on the Frank Rizzo statue, noting that he’ll be attending a meeting to determine where to relocate the famous statue after the City was forced to release it via lawsuit. Then, Dom plays back clips from Phil Murphy, who appeared on local television in North Jersey and addressed the rash of teenage violence in shore towns that he’s largely responsible for. Also, Dom plays back some unhinged clips from today’s Morning Joe on MSNBC, and some ridiculous commentary by Jill Biden on today’s The View. Then, Dom welcomes in Sea Isle City Mayor and Cape May County Commissioner Lenny Desiderio back onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear what can be done to control the situation in our shore towns after teenagers caused havoc in Wildwood, Ocean City, and other shore towns over Memorial Day weekend. Desiderio reveals that he has joined with multiple other Mayors to meet and determine how they can return power to their police officers, who’ve largely had their hands tied in dealing with juveniles after edicts set forth by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy in a reactionary move to the heightened awareness of social justice in the summer of 2020.
