The Dom Giordano Program

Robert DeNiro Holds Press Conference about Jan 6th, Fights Hecklers

Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering up some updates on stories that unfolded over the weekend, first playing back audio of Robert DeNiro, who randomly appeared outside Trump’s hush money courtroom to speak in favor of President Biden. In his press conference, DeNiro takes on a heckler who calls out the January 6th officers alongside DeNiro ‘traitors,’ which causes some fireworks. Then, Dom provides updates on the rash of violent teenagers taking over Jersey Shore boardwalks on weekend nights, telling about an interview he had yesterday with Ocean City Councilman Keith Hartzell. Then, Dom welcomes Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the wave of violence that shore towns saw this Memorial Day weekend, a preview of what may be a regularity throughout this summer season. Yesterday, after needing to issue a State of Emergency over the weekend, Ernie put out a news release that called attention to an edict set forth statewide by Governor Phil Murphy that largely ties the hands of police when dealing with juveniles on the boardwalk imbibing in marijuana and alcohol use. Mayor Troiano joins to delve into the situation, explaining what he hopes will be done to allow his law enforcement officers to keep these teen mobs from developing.
