We live in a society where few people expect to hear from God or know his presence - yet we can enjoy both! In fact, we NEED to experience both! The history of Israel shows the importance of the presence of God and of hearing from God - and followers of Jesus can enjoy these immense privileges! To do so, we should let go of our "idols" (those things we look to in place of God), seek a personal relationship with Jesus, read and obey his words in the Bible and praise him daily.
