Jesus promised that he would build his Church - and the very forces of hell would not overcome it. And history has shown that the Church prevails through both persecutions and pandemics.

Lockdown has caused us to re-think our focus: instead of focusing on meetings ("going to church"), we would do better to focus on what Jesus had told us to do: to be his witnesses and to make disciples ("being the church"). The persecuted Church has wonderfully demonstrated that when we focus on these things, Jesus builds his Church!
