In this episode Casey is sharing a little bit of her journey deciding to go to a small town cosmetology school, the pushback she received from her parents, and the discouraging environment some of her instructors created. She also reflects on the challenges many stylist face through the transition out of cosmetology school and into the salon. She discusses how she has overcome some of the limiting mindsets of others by challenging her perspective and using that empowerment to fulfil her dreams as a small town stylist.
