I truly hope your bless is what I share with you today and in this episode I'm going to be sharing some scripture. We got some Bible verses out of Romans. Thank you for tuning in. If it's your first time, thank you for hooking up with us on Spiritual Spotlight Podcasts. And if you've been with us for a long time since beginning over 250 some episodes, thank you so much for being on the other end of Truly is a blessing to have you listening to the show. So here we go, Romans eight versus 31 through 39 out of the new living translation. And the heading on this one for me was nothing can separate us from God's love. This is important because so many times we beat up ourselves. So many times the enemy, you'll get those attacks where you just feel like you're less than I'm not worthy, I've done stupid stuff in my past, I'm not worthy. Don't beat yourself up. Remember, your follower, Jesus Christ, nothing can separate us from God's love. So here it is. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own son, but gave him up for us all, won't he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to lie for us. And he is sitting in the place of honor at God's right hand pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity or are persecuted or hungry or destitute or in danger or threatened with death? As the scripture says, "For your sake we are killed every day, we are being slaughtered like sheep." No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither are fears for today nor are worries about tomorrow. Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. That's powerful. And I encourage you to make sure you read that passage because if you're beating yourself up and thinking that you're less than and thinking that I've messed up, he's not going to love me anymore, then that's a lie from the enemy. Satan's goal is to deceive us, right? That's what he does. He deceives. Smoke and mirrors, right? Have you convinced that, you know, just like you did with Eve, hey, don't listen to God, listen to us. Listen to me, that's good stuff, right? That you can eat off that fruit. You're just going to be, you're going to know you're going to be like God, you know, it's the same thing. You're sitting back, you're beating yourself up, I'm less than I can't come to Christ because I did this. God said that, no, God sent him to save us, to break the curse, right? God sent him down to save us, defeated death, raised from the dead, seated at the right hand of the Father, the Holy Spirit given to us as a gift, a free gift to walk with us, to be within us for us to rely on each day. Amen? Yes. Hey, so with that being said, folks, remember nothing can separate us from God's love that's Romans 8 verses 31 through 39. Let's go ahead and pray. So Heavenly Father, I just thank you so much for the blessings. I thank you so much for your word. I thank you for how you inspired the Apostle Paul to write what he wrote to encourage the church, the body of Christ. I thank you for scripture like this, where you read about it and you're just like, you know what? I'm beating myself up, sometimes we beat ourselves up. The enemy doesn't do it all the time. It's not the enemy doing it. Sometimes it's just us being human, but Lord, we thank you for your word and how you've corrected us and letting us know that you love us and that nothing can separate us from your love. So Lord, I ask you to just watch over all my listeners, bless them, protect them and keep them safe. Help them to remember this passage of scripture so they'll walk in victory. And I thank you for all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Hey, there you have it folks, thanks for tuning into another episode of spiritual spotlight. Truly hope you were blessed. Don't forget to share with friends, family, even a stranger. Thank you so much for being on the other end. Love you all. Take care of yourselves. Peace. (gentle music)
