The insuleoin Podcast - Redefining Diabetes

#212: Susan Sloane (Part 2)

Part 2 of Eoin's chat with Susan Sloane.

Susan is herself a Pharmacist and also the author of the book “Sweet Genes” which outlines and documents Susan’s experience raising her two sons, Jason and Mark, who were both diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

In this fascinating story, Susan explains how her son, Jason, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just 17 months old, and how her son, Mark, was diagnosed at 9 years old.

Both finding a passion for managing their health with Type 1 Diabetes, we hear about how Jason became an Endocrinologist, and how Mark become a pharmacist. Both are still practising and helping people to date.
