The insuleoin Podcast - Redefining Diabetes

#98: Carrying Calves with Low Blood Sugars with Dermot Ryall (Part 2).

Part 2 of Eoin's chat with Dermot Ryall.

Dermot is from Ireland and has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for over 27 years. He is a dairy farmer and an AI Technician, and speaks of how “carrying calves across a farm, weighing 40kg can lead to blood sugars dropping like a tonne of bricks”.

Throughout his years of experience, Dermot has to offer an array of tips, advice and ‘dos and don’ts’ with the condition. He’s had plenty of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ experiences throughout his years, and even what he describes as a ‘near death experience’.

As always, be sure to rate, comment, subscribe and share. Your interaction and feedback really helps the podcast. The more Diabetics that we reach, the bigger impact we can make!
